The fact that it took Kise a couple of weeks in canon universe time to warm up to Kuroko, whereas Aomine knew him for literally one night only before being like “new friend just dropped” will never not be funny/amazing to me.

Obviously, the contexts they’re meeting in is different (Kise comes in jealous/with a superiority complex). But yeah I’m like 90% sure Aomine meets Kuroko at evening practice, runs into him that same night and they eat together and hang out some more, and then the very next day immediately after school Aomine seeks him out and is like “hey Tetsu, let’s go practice!!” (and then Midorima throws a net on Aomine and Kuroko is like “what the hell have I signed up for here”).
