It’s a few seconds before he hears the sound of familiar steps, recognizing them immediately. Eddie’s home. Buck hears him coming, hears him stepping on that one squeaky floorboard two steps from the door – they’ve been meaning to fix that for ages – and finally the door opens, revealing a confused but pleased-looking Eddie. He’s in sweatpants and an old, stretched out t-shirt Buck’s pretty sure actually belongs to him, and his hair is all disheveled and flat on one side, like he’s been napping on the couch. He looks so perfect and so cute, and Buck wants to see him like this for the rest of his life.

ALRIGHT, first draft of ch 3 of the bodyswap fic is done!! Now I need to meal prep so that I have things to eat for my next several shifts. +^+

hi hi! ^-^/ it's tedious time-consuming work but thinking about The OCs™ I lovingly made and people maybe liking them all one day is what drives me when i get lazy or wonder why im doing this fr.

honestly i always want to talk about em here, but there's a part of me that doesnt want to spoil too much or 'ruin' the surprise for others yknow?

but overall there's been pretty good progress on art and writing. been trying to focus more-so on the writing for a good while though, it's hard when you get distracted easy and lack discipline </3 </3 </3 but its getting there!

If I ever do the thing that I have "in theory" planned to do at some point - writing Kori's BG adventure into a fic while doing another run of her - I should probably look into AO3 for that and don't just post my things here like I do so far.

“What Stephanie said, I guess.” Jason’s apparently given up all pretenses of eating; he’s sitting back in his chair, the base of his skull meeting the edge of the back of his chair.

“No, Jay, really,” Dick says, and… he sounds almost pissed, honestly, on the edge of it, at least. And Stephanie sees it like it’s slow-motion -- Jason’s hackles raising. “That’s all I got, Dick.”

“You can��t- You heard her. She thought this would be a few weeks at most. I don’t get it, I waited--” Dick breathes out sharply, like he’s trying to force out any frustration, but Steph can still see it in his shoulders. And she realizes, right then, that this conversation won’t really end anywhere productive, not in the way she’d expected it to go. Dick says, like he’s trying to speed up the process, “Did you not want me to--”

“I didn’t say anything about you.” Jay snaps. He’s sitting up a bit, now. Stephanie doesn’t know what to do. “It’s not about anything you did. We can head to your place now, or whatever.

“No, no, hang on, I still don't understand why you just left.”

“You don’t need to understand!”
