c!Sam seems surprisingly chill about c!Ranboo in the Apology Cake au. Is he aware that c!Ranboo was perma-dead and got resurrected and is just rationalizing it as a favor to Techno or something, or did he just miss that c!Ranboo lost his final life at all?

He did know that c!Ranboo got revived mostly because it happened quickly in this AU (aka c!Techno got back and c!Dream was like 'okay I know we're dealing with shit but let lemme bring back Ranboo's ass before we do anything else or I'll forget' and c!Techno went from panic and misery to 'oh that's right you can just bring back the dead guess this actually wasn't as big a deal as I thought') and so c!Ranboo just showed up to kick his ass personally when they went to get Michael back.

Putting that aside, c!Sam is less worried about c!Ranboo partially because he's having too many crisis already to handle another one, and partially because there's a general truce on the server given the whole "hunters on the smp" situation. It's like the Egg but taken to a higher extreme. People are willing to put aside their current grudges to handle the outsiders because everyone is fucked if they don't, and hunters are very likely to swarm a small SMP like this if they don't get stamped out. It's incredible dangerous and people are too worried about that issue to be infighting.

For the three sentence prompts: despite Moon Knight's penchant for dressing in white, speaking Arabic, and killing people, and Jake helping out Assassins on the sly as a cab driver-turned-getaway driver, Stephen is the one who (unintentionally) gets them into trouble with the Templar Order

“What did you do?” Marc snarls, throwing himself up the side of a building as fast as he can climb. That doesn’t seem like it’s going to be enough to stop the guy aiming a harpoon gun at him, though, and he turns, throws a dart, and then leaps for the window Steven pointed out. 

I kissed one bartender! Steven protests inside his head, over the sound of Khonshu’s cackling. One! I didn’t even get his name!

Marc crashes through the window in a shower of glass, guts the goon with a gun who’s practically on top of him, and snaps, “Next time don’t kiss an Assassin without asking first, shithead!”

If dragon Oscar is plant/nature based, does that mean assorted plants give assorted powers outside of just growing plants? Blackberries/ivy for tangling and ensnaring, mints for soothing/healing, peppers for a sensory assault that makes you think you're on fire, and hemlock for no I just want you dead?

Actually my personal HC is that Nature Dragons are Poison Children. They can use or grow plants that heal (dragon herbalists ftw), and they can also use vines and such for entrapment, but their innate and most deadly weapon is being Really Hecking Poisonous. Venomous? Technically venomous, but they love eating all kinds of very poisonous plantlife because it makes their own poison stronger sooo. So instead of fire breath, if you tick off a Nature Dragon, prepared to either be bitten with something that kills you in seconds, or to have the air around you turn into a poison gas field from which there is no escape.

Aka there is a good reason not even other dragons mess with Nature Dragons.

Except Blues has the luck to have a cracked crystal, as seen on panel, and so is in effect co-piloting with the newborn evil eldritch abomination from outer space rather than just plain dead. So because he is an excellent problem solver, a lot of damage control is being exerted, through preposterous amounts of trying to teach self-preservation to starfish aliens with a gigantic natural bias against positive emotion and quite a few issues with the concepts of “self” and “preservation” to begin with.

But yes, the Sol system and its general environs are screwed as is what little was left of the Orion Arm, Blues’ surviving family is exiled first to the moon then to a glassed planet in the middle of a dead zone, and Kalinka is the only thing preventing humanity from being extinct in the wild.

Somehow still contains more main cast survivors than the actual canon timeline!

Moon Knight/AC would be kind of wild, though. Even w/out all the other Marvel characters, it's like--MK wears a bright white cape + hood combo. Are we sure he's not an Assassin? And everybody is just, super confused about that point, and it doesn't help that on some of the more murder-y days MK targets some Templars (evil hearts!). Shaun, probably "He's crazy, he says he works for a god." -Desmond "right now, so are we."

Isn't it a horror verb though? You could use "husked" as a way to describe a body snatcher taking over someone. That would certainly mean the romantic scene would come to a very abrupt... end, maybe? Might depend on if the other person knew about it/didn't know about it. Definitely very creepy to read from the audience perspective, though. Good horror-movie vibe.

....I will accept husked as an option, in that situation. Fair point.

In the Noctscar 'verse, would Noctscar's abilities to remove Oz ever actually be used? Say, could they make a new body (like a robotic body or a magically-created-and-run golem body) and then use said ability to transfer Oz over to it? So now no more worries of merging for the foreseeable future and +1 more ally able to fight/magic wizard man now that the two of them are not sharing a body?

I hadn’t thought of that actually? I do have plans to give Ozpin a body of his own at some point but the how's are a bit nebulous. But them giving him the Penny Treatment might actually be interesting....

Personal headcanon has it due to Wily brainstorming how to make Zero look both impressive and terrifying, since he’d be the final work he’d forever be judged by, and his mind inevitably going back to the duel in Auto’s lab. Where he saw his eternal opponent (Rock) get mercilessly flattened, both in front of his eyes and directly into his brain, to the point of Wily himself having to rescue him -- and it having almost failed anyway because Terra was running his telepathy link at the time to provide the world with the spectacle. And then Wily himself almost got Spark Chaser’d out of existence immediately afterwards. All while Terra was laughing manically and clearly having the time of his life.

Because the image must have stuck something fierce, and pre-Hunters Zero is a dead ringer for Terra, from the long hair, helmet, manic laugh and hand-wielded fluid laser weapon.
