We've expressed our fondness for black cats before. Well, we're doing it again: Here are two porcelain ones in their full blepping glory from China's Kangxi period (1662-1722). They're from The Metropolitan Museum of Art's collection on JSTOR, which is free and open to all!
In case anyone needs a day brightener, here's a picture of my cat. She's missing a few front teeth, so has a chronic blep. Her name is BugBug. She was also purring VERY loudly when I took this pic.
