Have you heard of the project Whale Tale?

Did you know that U2 landed on a navy carrier ship?

U-2 designer Clarence “Kelly” Johnson of Lockheed. Johnson made certain design modifications to the airframe, and the first test, codenamed Project Whale Tale, occurred on 3 August 1963 off the coast of San Diego. The modified U-2 lifted off from the deck of the USS Kitty Hawk without catapult assistance or incident, but its landing was a different matter. The expected “bounce” when the aircraft hit the carrier deck was damaged! I have heard that landing a U-.2 is very difficult. In mid-1963, the Office of Special Activities set in motion OPERATION WHALE TALE to examine the possibility of adapting the U-2 aircraft for operations from an aircraft carrier. CIA planners believed that if U-2s could be modified to operate from aircraft carriers, the United States could avoid the political problems involved in seeking permission to base U-2s in other nations.

The U-2, of course, has quite a history - an aircraft designed by the famous Kelly Johnson in Lockheed's mysterious "Skunk Works" (a reference to Al Capp's Li'l Abner comic strip, which was quite beloved at the time). The U-2 was designed to fly above known anti-aircraft missile ranges and the operating range of the interceptor aircraft of the day. Passed out of Pakistan and perhaps other locations, the U-2s overflew the old Soviet Union with some degree of perceived safety until the day when the Soviets managed to shoot one down. (May 1, 1960)This, in turn, led to the re-evaluation of the U-2 program and the controversy of basing locations arose, which PROJECT WHALE TALE was designed to address. Modifications were made to the U-2 by Kelly Johnson. (U2G)The modifications only took seven months, which was how the Skunk Works did things, fast and efficiently. They manage to get the U-2 to land on the carrier. On 24 April 1964 a single carrier-based U-2 mission to collect baseline photography of the French test site was approved. This mission was successful.. The project was canceled the decision was made to use cheaper satellites instead.Thank you Bill Kraus for bringing this to my attention

BLACK CAT FRIDAY!

Hector is 16 years 7 months-old (doesn't look a day over 10!) and sponsored by Stefanie Kraus. SNAP Cats rescued Hector from Fields Landing, CA. Hector is a very chill, very sweet senior kitty. He desires attention when you’re around but will sleep the day away without any human contact. Hector gets along great with the other kitties and uses the litter box 100% of the time. Hector is currently on thyroid meds 2x day, which he takes in pill pockets easy-peasy. He is in the very (and we mean VERY) early stages of renal failure, so we are giving him daily fluids, which should be continued. Other than that, he’s a healthy 16+ year-old that won't demand much more than a few pets, and a nice, comfy window perch to watch the birds and snooze the day away.

Alexander Hamilton Laurens maybe has a romantic interest in Nathaniel Kraus and/or Icarus Ambrose.

(However I do not trust a single one of you on that since apparently being a platonic friend here is illegal.)

(Then again I am not here to give opinions, just state which I have heard so I shall move on now.)

Philip Hamilton is having "flings" with women, like Odette Clementine and Phoebe and will likely end up a child of wedlock.

If he has not already got one and is too embarrassed to tell!

There is also a thief anonymous apparently running rampant and has stolen from Timothy Pickering's tavern while he were in hospital? Best of luck to the criminal underground, the law inforcment team and Lucas Austin Acker since he is notoriously a past criminal which may be involved!

Said Timothy Pickering is an interesting figure, he has gotten shot by a supposed claim to the Russian throne, Peter III, during his first few days here. During his delusion from medical drugs and illnes he has repeatedly mentioned someone named Cecily. Some are under the impression that Cecily is his sister, some say a lover, however no one truly knows. He also keeps something in his pocket which he guards closely, only person who knows what it is seems to be Philip Hamilton Laurens. Just a strange man overall.

Speaking of criminal activity, a suspicious looking tall dressed in all black goth was spotted around, and a detective S. trying to catch them for whatever reason. If you see this "tall goth with a flirtatious manner" I suggest reporting him to detective S.. Or not if you wish to stir trouble.

And of ofcourse, the famous argument between Alexander Hamilton Laurens and John Laurens Hamilton, now married but rumoured to be getting the divorce papers ready. All of luck to their children, let the games begin!
