i’m still working on the same scene as yesterday from andromeda rogue lol. space!Finneas is having quite the day.

He swung himself up onto the gate and launched himself off the platform, arms flailing.

As he slammed into the floating pod, his hands slipped down it’s the metallic side, but the tip of his boot latched onto the small step just beneath the door.  Straining to keep his body from sliding off the pod and plummeting to the street far below, his free hand—his non-dominant hand, he realized a split-second too late—reached into the side pocket of his jacket and pulled out a magnetic stick, and he clumsily fumbled to jab the stick at the side of the door, where he knew the lock was. Just a bit of fiddling at the right angle, and—

Finneas yanked the door open and stumbled inside before slamming it shut behind him.

Finally alone, he turned towards the control panel, but a slight movement from the back of the pod caught his attention at the corner of his eye. He snapped his head around and froze.
