I love when people tell me I make clothing wrong. I love when they tell me “you have to knit sweaters from a yoke” and “you have to sew a back rip stitch for a garment zipper” because I don’t! I don’t!!! I can make clothing however I like! I knit sweaters from the bottom up in panels on straight needles! I sew my zippers on by hand with embroidery thread! And guess what?! The sweaters look like sweaters! The zippers work like zippers! The SNOZBERRIES taste like S N O Z B E R R I E S!!

Finished my v first sweater!!!! Pattern is the Monster Sweater by KnitStitchRepeat on IG. Made with various acrylic scrap yarn so the weaving process will be v v tedious, but that’s for future Kharis to cry about!

A beautiful cashmere merino blend (as close to the original valentino sweater as I could get!) knitted to this pattern 😊

Just finished reading Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia Of Faeries, absolutely obsessed with it. Anyways I loved when they put shadow in a sweater big danger boys needs to be warm too

An old finished object from 2020, this is a sweater I knit for my dad! This sweater was a joy to knit and was good practice for converting a seamed, flat-knit pattern into a seamless one knit in-the-round. The pattern is Svenson (Classic) by Jared Flood, and I used Briggs & Little Regal yarn.

Kalh's TotK Knitting Adventure: Part 6

Well, guys, it's finally complete!

It's actually been complete for a month or so, we've just not had the weather to do an outdoor photo shoot. It's been a journey and a half, and I've learned so much about the art of knitting. Most notably that, although knitting is a craft, it could and should be considered a form of art.

I've got some projects for friends and family going, but once they're complete, I've got a design for a TotK Depths inspired sweater that I'd love to do.
