The Tower: Infinity Castle (this gonna b hell to draw)

The Moon: Michikatsu

The Sun: Yoriichi

The Judgement: Rengoku Kyojuro

The World: Blue Spider Lily and Kie

what the hell is a breathing style

not even an actual slayer???

His Japanese ancestors fled to the Philippines to escape Christian persecution. Now, as the US colonises the Philippines, Asuka is encouraged to escape to Japan. He finds his relatives only as they are being killed by a demon, and the slayer fighting the demon is at death's door. While he is able to defeat the demon, he is unable to save the slayer. He dons their uniform and their sword and sets out to find out more about demons and how to kill them. Has absolutely no idea what the Corps are and will eventually get in trouble for 'impersonation', but until then will go on his merry way slicing and dicing.

i like to think maybe hes made to Actually go thru final selection once people figure out that hes not actually a slayer and like. obviously he gets thru it. gets his own sword (old one goes back to the family of the deceased slayer) but still fights mainly with the bolo. will he ever learn a breathing style??? who knows.......

hes kind of dumb. not really the most empathetic or sensitive but he means well

@demonslayedher posted an amazing Akaza pillow concept, which prompted me to make this prototype. And after more trial and error, I think I finally have a pretty decent pillow!

I can’t decide if he should live on the KNY couch or hang out with the face pillows on the KNY bed…decisions, decisions.

Unlike the prototype, this one has less polyfill stuffing which allows the rounded blue pattern to look more accurate to Akaza’s designs. The fringe is also suede rather than my DIY acrylic fringe from the first attempt! It’s a tag bit too stiff, but that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make for a more accurate color and length.

I didn’t realize how weird Akaza’s color scheme was until I tried to find a fringe color to match it. This specific one is listed as “watermelon” and it’s pretty close to the Akaza towel I was using as a reference guide.

Overall I think it’s cute! Now that I’ve made kny food and kny home decor, I need to find another project…

They are made with printable plastic covered with a UV resin dome.

The pins have some micro-bubbles (almost imperceptible) due to the resin, but the resin makes up for it by making the pins long-lasting and waterproof

reading:  uh- does my criminology textbook count ?  if so , that’s what i’m reading atm.  i don’t exactly have the free-time to read at my leisure as much as i used to.  the last book i actually sat down and finished was - if i recall - american gods by neil gaiman ( cannot recommend enough , tbh ) .

last song:  nice & slow by max frost.

last series:  for myself ?  s//tranger t//hings.  because my friend had me cornered in her house over the last weekend & i wasn’t allowed to refuse her offers ?  kny s2.

last movie:  literally the 2022 elvis movie.  don’t even look at me , i went to support my grandmother ( & besides , i dabble in the old school tunes myself so i thought i’d have a good time either way ) .

sweet/spicy/savory:  savory , no contest.

currently working on:  beginning research on how to make candles / perfumes ( big thanks to frenchie for kickstarting my path into the DIY universe on this front ! ) ; working ahead of pace for my criminology course & already starting notes for fall ; attempting to write ( or motivate myself to write ) replies in-between all else ; finding a way to cope with my so-called body dysmorphia even as i continue to get physically healthier.
