Complete ramble, shower thoughts if you will... If the Yiga Clan is a group of Sheikah who wants revenge on Hylians, why would they let Hylians into their clan?
Short answer?; I think they'll most likely turn on their own teammates once Ganon is revived... Thought process below cut
With the ability to get the Yiga armor in totk, we've found out that that lil brown puff on their head is a pony tail, it comes from the hair on their head. Link is sometimes criticized about his, the others saying that they're supposed to be as anonymous/uniform as possible, and his blonde hair is distinctive...And of course while they're actively hunting Link, the Yiga clan is also a group that wished to revive "their king" Ganon, with their motive behind that is to get revenge on the Hylians who tried to exhile the Sheikah tribe, meaning they ARE Sheikah, but is it exclusive to them? That's highly unlikely because the "Travelers" we meet don't look Sheikah at all, but either way, the majority of them should be Sheikah right..? Or at least the ones who keep their face hidden... An observation that I had made (bringing us back to the ponytails from previously) is that their hair is brown. Just a simple travel back to Kakariko village shows that the Sheikah have white hair... Now hair dye is obviously the answer, (like the Kochi Dye Shop, which is ran by a Hylian, meaning they most likely won't support it by taking their business there, and maybe created a dye process of their own?) But if that's the case... what's stopping Link from dying his hair for his uniform, like he does with the Ember, Charged, and Frostbite sets...? and even if hair dye is the answer, why would they do it? Since they're seeking revenge, that shows that they have some pride in who they are. Being anonymous as a single person makes sense, but as a whole...? Another possibility is to differentiate themselves from the Sheikah in Kakariko. But Dorian who used to be in the Yiga Clan, still has white hair. But that would mean the "pony tail" is actually a wig, or some other sort of head/hair piece to conceal their real hair... Which might make sense, being that the uniform Link obtained was a new design, but if it was, then that means the other members disagree with it and they would end up keeping the old uniform... Though even then, wouldn't that serve the Hylian members, keeping them anonymous towards their supposed teammates...?
This may or may not be continued, but all it is, is thoughts to be written, and shared to add at least 15-20 minutes to your shower, or fill the thoughts of others with loz instead of useful real-world attributes<3

How about some random Spirit Tracks thoughts or headcanons? Like, got anything about the Lokomos? Or Anoukis? I love them. (It's a great game! I have yet to finish though because the DS hurts my hands. I wish we could get it ported to the Switch)
Spirit Tracks, my beloved. I am going to get so much worldbuilding out of you.
Where to even start with this? How abooout...
Malladus
Tumblr media
Look familiar?
Slight Skyward spoilers, there's a cut.
Back when the world was still new, Demise broke through into the world of light to steal the Goddess' power.
Tumblr media
Demise himself was sealed away, but the hordes of demons, we never really saw where they went.
Based on the fact that Ghirahim walked free, we can pretty safely assume that the others did too.
And that's where Malladus comes from! He fled the Skyward Sword area of the surface as Hylia sealed off his master, saving his own hide.
The place he went to, though, had its own protectors.
Tumblr media
He fought his own battle against the spirits of good and their chosen people, the Lokomo, until his body was destroyed and he was sealed into the Dark Realm.
Tumblr media
Because his body's gone, he can only stand being in the world of Light for a few hours at a time, or else he dissipates into nothing.
The Lokomo
The Lokomo are a secretive tribe, responsible for maintaining the seal that the spirits of New Hyrule left behind. They're best known for Sage Anjean.
Tumblr media
The Lokomo are of a very practical mindset, and are incredible engineers. Not only did they utilize the Spirit Tracks in a way that would ensure they were maintained perfectly, while also creating the best mode of transport available to Hyrulean civilians to date—
Tumblr media
—but they also engineered around disabilities and made wheelchair segways and fully automated prosthetics.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These people were AMAZING, and I wish we got to see more of them.
The Anouki
Tumblr media
These guys live up north in the Snow Realm, in their own little village. They grow horns, have flipper feet, and have fluffy little tails as their main distinction from Hylians and humans.
Anouki are VERY fond of bright colors; they most often wear blue or yellow, using dye techniques that would later be passed down to the Kochi Dye Shop, and their leaders have the honor of wearing purple. They decorate their houses with bright fabrics, embroidered pillows, shining strings of jewels, even using colored ice to make stained glass windows in their homes.
Tumblr media
As for their behavior, Anouki are very...blunt people. They’re both brutally honest and incredibly finicky, so if they don’t like you, they’ll tell you so with no hesitation. This even makes it hard for neighbors to work with each other at times; something as simple as having larger horns or wearing a color they don’t like is enough for them to shun each other.
Nevertheless, the Anouki stick together, even when they dislike each other; they make villages and support each other through the harsh cold of their environment, and they keep the surrounding ice stable and free of monsters.
Also: @phantommermaidqueen DM me, I can send you a DS emulator and a Spirit Tracks rom if you want to play it on your computer!

Ten years ago today I visited this remote Indian settlement with a talented crew, deep in the jungles of southern India. The community built their houses up in the tree line to protect their homes from being trampled by elephants. On one long drive back from this remote area, we came face to face with a rogue Indian Elephant as it loomed out of the darkness into our headlights. Luckily it wasn’t troubled by the headlights of our 4x4s and stepped back into the darkness. . . . #india #munnar #jungle #remote #tribe #southernindia #kochi #photography #photo #travelphotography #travel #portraitphotography #portrait #blackandwhite #blackandwhitephotography #incense (at Munnar) https://www.instagram.com/p/BuGYQH6FFoR/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1n21gh15f4op2

Week #6 Blog
Dear Zari by Zarghuna Kargar
Pg. 219-244
Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini
Pg. 1-20
Word Count: 476
This section of Dear Zari was the last one, where it was about a Kochi girl. The Kochi Tribe is a nomadic tribe in Afghanistan that are shepherds and wander. They live in tents and love the outdoors. The Kochi girl is one of the prettiest in her tribe. She and her father live with her two brothers. They are not very rich. The girl falls in love with a boy, however, but another man falls in love with her. The boy she loves also loves her, and though her father does not want her to marry the man, the man is rich. The girl does not want to, so she argues and fights with her father so he would not give her to the man. Her father refuses, so the girl meets up with the boy and tells in front of everyone she loves him, and according to Pashtun and Kochi culture, they are now obligated to marry. They got married and now have both their families live together.
This section had two stories and because the first one was cut in half, I did not include the summary for it, but both the quotes are from that section. The first quote is “What happened? Why have you all stopped?”, which is conversational element. This is because of the short sentence structure and because it is an actual conversation. It also uses simple words. Kargar combines all of this to make the story much more personal and help the audience feel like they are in the story more, rather than just narrating and using longer and explanatory sentences. The second quote is the girl releasing her frustration on the women who criticize her for acting and looking like a man. She has enough of this and is honest to the women and ask why they can’t treat her right. Kargar’s use of this make the story much more sadder because it makes it personal to the girl and her frustration.
This was personally my favorite of all the sections. The first section is obviously sad and heartbreaking because of the hardships she goes through just for being who she is, but the second section is one of the best stories in the book. This is kind of biased because it is the only story with an actual happy ending and one that doesn’t end on a sad note, but I loved to read about the girl fight for her love and refuse to give up the man she loves. I love how bold she was and how her love life worked the way it was supposed to, and felt happiness for her after learning about the other women’s lives. I also reached the end of the book in this section so it was good to end on a lighter tone than what was previously established.

Questions raised over fate of 10% economic quota in KeralaSupreme Court order in Maratha reservation case
06/05/2021
K.S. Sudhi KOCHI
The Supreme Court order in Maratha reservation case has cast a doubt over the fate of 10% economic reservation introduced by the State government in jobs and educational institutions.
The apex court, while quashing the Maharashtra law to provide reservation for Marathas, held that there should be a cap of 50% on reservation as laid down in the 1992 Indra Sawhney case.
Outgoing Law Minister A.K. Balan apprehended that the verdict may leave an impact on the 10% reservation for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) as the total reservation in the State had exceed the 50% cap. Currently, 50% caste-based reservation is provided to the Other backward Communities and Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes together in the State. Additionally, a 10% reservation is provided to EWS from the open merit, without affecting the caste-based reservation, thus taking the total reservation to 60%.
Pioneer
The 10% EWS may not be be possible any more in the light of the apex court order, Mr. Balan told The Hindu.
Incidentally, Kerala was the pioneer to introduce economic reservation and provided 10% reservation for candidates from the EWS in Devaswom boards in the State. As many as 25 persons were appointed under the scheme. The apex court order will not affect those who have already been appointed. However, it may adversely affect the future appointments, he said.
At the same time, the Nair Service Society maintained that the court verdict will not affect the economic reservation introduced via a Constitutional amendment. The amendment was never discussed by the apex court in the Maratha case. Moreover, the court had even refused to stay the amendment and the case challenging its validity was pending, said G. Sukumaran Nair, NSS general secretary.
