​Of course that is just a theory ^^ It could very well be they are not done yet, but I have the feeling it is coming to an end. There are more than enough developers taking up the mantle and creating similar games and they deserve to be played too ^^ If they make another game, I will of course play it and open headcanons for it. For now let's wait for the DLC and then treat ourselves to the 18 inches of Messmer.

It’s almost TOO similar just to be a coincidence, I was already joking about Malenia being like Zero just because of the whole swordswoman with a prosthetic arm and parasitic god flower thing.

And then I learned about Millicent and her sisters being “born” from the flower. There’s even five of them! That’s just Drakengard 3! (What’s next, Malenia’s third bloom is an 8min rhythm game from hell?)

I have a lot of hc's for Godfrey and his relationship with food. HUGE text wall ahead.

Godfrey essentially raised himself, therefore during his childhood to adolescence he had little to no knowledge of food and cuisine. He knew mostly through experience and what little advice he got from adults about what type of berry or herb is poisonous, and what's actually palatable if you pluck it and eat it straight from the bush, tree, or vine, but that's about it. His eating habits depended on season, his location, and if he was being looked after by any tribe or settlement.

Seasons:

-Spring and Summer: During the spring and summer is usually good, he would eat at least two meals a day (albeit small meals) and he could scavenge the land for more food if he needed too.

-Autumn: During the beginning of autumn is arguably the best, as crops are now being harvested and the portions are noticeably bigger and more varied in fruits and vegetables. He eats better during the fall than most of the year due to harvests, but sometimes that isn't the case if crops end up failing.

-Winter: Winter is okay if harvests were good, but it's terrible if the harvests were bad. He would be lucky if he got a piece of bread to eat for the whole day. During this season as a child he would solely rely on the pity and mercy of settlements and tribes for food, as there would be nothing to scavenge for and food was heavily guarded and counted.

Famines: Godfrey has lived to see several famines in the badlands during his life. Most were likely regional that lasted a year or two, but he lived to see one mass famine within the badlands, and he was already an adult and chieftain when this happened. To say he rationed the fuck out of his tribe is an understatement. While many panicked and were frightened about the upcoming winter, they looked up to see a calm and collected Horah Loux. They knew the winter would be brutal, but they knew that stood a chance of surviving with him leading the way.

Autumn harvests and festivals: During the autumn, if the harvests were excellent and resulted in a surplus, he would initiate a festival to celebrate the successful harvest with a feast. During these festivals, the best of badlands cuisine could be seen here. Cooked and seasoned meat such as cow, sheep, pig, deer, and bird with sides of greens and vegetables, such as potato, carrots, and cabbage. Everyone would make a dish to bring it to the festival. It was a very special and well-loved occasion, and when Horah Loux became Lord Godfrey, he and his men brought the festival to the Lands Between. Harvests are much more successful and plentiful in The Lands Between, so what was once a special once in every 5-10 year occasion became a full-blown yearly holiday.

Harvest festival to Grateful Harvest: In the Lands Between, the occasional harvest festival slowly became a yearly holiday in the lands between that was celebrated after all crops were harvested, which could mean the holiday can start in the beginning, middle, or near the end of fall, but the celebration usually continued throughout the season until winter arrives. During this time grand feasts are commonplace within family homes and cities, everyone had their own version of Grateful Harvest. Animals that were not hibernating during the autumn were often hunted to become a part of these feasts, and what animals that didn't hibernate for the autumn varied from region to region. For one region, it was common to hunt birds for the Grateful Harvest, but for another region it was common to hunt boar for the holiday. The holiday was specifically made to show gratitude for a successful harvest, but the Greater Will morphed it into a holiday of worship, as they would claim they are the sole reason the harvests are successful. It would become a religious holiday in Leyendell, but Godfrey attempted to keep the old traditions alive until he was banished. Radagon would be the one to make Grateful Harvest a religious holiday.

Godfrey's personal eating habits as Elden Lord: He ate more, that's for sure. Instead of just 1 or 2 meals a day, he would eat 3, maybe even a snack in between! That concept was very foreign to Godfrey though, but he accepted it happily. However, what took him years to acclimate to was the new cuisine and palette. To Godfrey, everything looked, felt, smelt, and tasted different. Potatoes didn't taste the same, berries didn't taste the same, hell even water didn't taste the same. He was raised with a bare-minimum palette because that was all he could get in his home country, and that was his comfort zone. When moved to the LB his comfort zone was nowhere to be found, as all the crops, game, and cuisine was so starkly from the BL, and he slowly lost his shit.

He would hoard food that was of agreeable taste and texture, and he would often fall back on that if he couldn't eat what was made for him that day. He had very specific ways he wanted food to be cooked for him, and he was so insistent on it that people thought he was just a super picky eater. In reality, he couldn't stomach some of the more complex tastes and textures of the food in the LB, and he ended up becoming an anxious man around mealtime. Sometimes he would look at a plate of food and feed it to the dog (aka maliketh) because he already knew he couldn't eat that. Making himself eat it would only cause of scene of wretching and coughing fits.

Marika didn't realize how much of a problem this was until Godfrey begged her to import some crops from the BL to there because he didn't like the taste or textures of most food in the LB. Shortly after this, she had Beast Regent Serosh become Godfrey's wrangler ESA companion. Godfrey still hated many tastes and textures, but Serosh was able to calm his nerves around mealtime, making it easier for Godfrey to try new things and make mealtime a more pleasant experience. He would eventually become more comfortable with the new palette, but it would take years to do so. However, many of his old habits with refused to die as Elden Lord, and now as a tarnished he fell back on it more than ever.

Godfrey rarely ever seasons his food, in the BL spices are nearly non-existent, so most spices feel like an assault on his taste buds.

The only food of real substance he can make is a stew, and that's usually made with whatever he can hunt and scavenge that day.

He prefers more simple tastes of savory and bitter, he's really not into sweets.

Godfrey wants a food to be one texture only, he can't stand if a texture is crunchy, and then it becomes soft. Or in the worst case scenario, he's eating something soft and fluid-like, and he suddenly crunches on something. He would spit that out so fast. He despises grainy textures.

Godfrey prefers plain water and mead over any other drink. He's grown comfortable to alcohol, like wine or beer, but he still prefers water and mead to the surprise of nobody.

God, I want one, but I also don't want to fall for a scam if it's not legit...!

IDK which one's legit and I found out the Chinese artist who made the plush made a totally different one that's just the same size, so I seem to have bought the design from someone different altogether :'D But that said, the shop you linked seems to be highly rated and has been operating since 2020, so that seems less likely to be a scam (and the price looks about the same as what I paid for my mini Morgott!).

Do what you think is best, but it does look less likely to be a scam since I don't think it would've lasted two years with good reviews if it was! I'm obviously not an expert tho.

Many various herbs and spices that are relatively common in our reality (such as garlic, mint, and cinnamon) exist, but are quite rare and hard to get ahold of in the Lands Between today. Especially for an enterprising Tarnished!

Oh. Oh! To be asked for a view so vulgar has Thiollier blushing intensely beneath his mask no matter who the subject matter was. And for this one it was the Lord of blood himself, an omen but by some standards still had a way about him that one may consider to be handsome.

"Would I really consider s-smashing Mohg?" He had to think on this for a good long while. Though the Mohg he knows now was intwined with another, distinctive features were still there. Those devilish horns tempted him to stroke with a hand while also showing concern for the one gouging out an eye.

Those feathers though he caught a glimpse of seemed soft to lay against and the blood lord was no doubt big enough to embrace the whole of him against that potentially downy soft bossom. And not to mention those fangs while frightful he could see himself growing used to with time...

The heat occupying the small space between his face and the mask was suffocating but still to save some face he chose to keep it on.

I'm of the mind that there exists no one that Mohg hates more than Marika.

So there's a certain irony in how he sets out with the intention of making his consort the one demigod who bears the strongest resemblance to the one who originally forsook him.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he did, considering how rough his childhood was. She never showed him any love, and he doesn’t seem like the type to care what she thinks now.

And certainly Miquella looks the most similar. And if he really does hate her so much, then with Miquella it’s the opposite, an extreme love (so much that it’s suffocating and something that only hurts him. And doesn’t actually care about what he wants.)

There’s something to be said about his control over Miq as well, making him a god on his terms for his dynasty. Maybe not on a conscious level, but perhaps that too is him rebelling against her.
