Ryuichi Sakamoto actually reminded me of the fact many debuts from those with long careers basically belonged to the special category of the pioneering works within their genres. Thus, Yellow Magic Orchestra also did a great introduction and, yes, I should be more objective here, but even then – what they did was astounding. I mean, what was their benchmark at the time? Kraftwerk, I agree, but we already heard Sakamoto moving beyond what they did and going towards the direction the German group never suggested. Moreover, Sakamoto, Hosono and Takahashi made electronica more fun. This might be their greatest legacy – moving the electronic music away from the stuffiness. Sure, Kraftwerk also did that, though their sense of humour remained less pronounced.

He doesn’t like socializing that much, prefers to talk with people he’s only really close with. When in front of the press doing his royal duties, he has this stoic aura to him that’s both firm and in-control. Behind closed doors though, he can be a meek and stuttering guy who’s just shy all of the time.

He still feels sensitive when talking about the scandals he did when he was a teenager. He doesn’t do any of them anymore but, will drink on some occasions if needed. Bringing those up with him will hurt Elios a lot and will make him dislike you.

He rarely ever leaves Monaco, the only times he goes out is when his duties need him to or when he has to visit his fiancé from the other country. Moving to Russia and in a new unfamiliar palace gets him homesick too much. He might be a lot more sensitive than usual, especially since he’s not close to the sea (his second home). 

He likes to debate, it’s one of his favorite past times that includes talking to other people. He likes people who are quick-witted and knowledgeable. He’s not a fan of sports but, will accompany you to them as long as he gets to bring a book of his. 

On his free time when Elios is not studying, sailing, or feeling homesick. The raven likes to paint. He’s had a passion for art since he was a boy and if it were not for his royal duties, Elios would’ve liked to pursue a career as a painter.

Elios’ forte is painting landscapes, his best piece is a painting of the rising sun on the Mediterranean Sea. He gave that painting to his grandmother.

His favorite food is fougasse and cheese. You can literally catch him sneaking to the kitchen to get a slice of cheese or other food that goes along well with it. He’s a cheese monster.

His parents names him Elios of the sun god Helios. He was supposedly going to be named either Helios or Elio but, his parents thought Elios sounded better.

Although he was named after Helios, Elios in fact does not like the sun that much. Expect when he’s sailing of course, clear skies are good when in the sea. But, when he’s at home he prefer a rainy day, tucked under a couple of blankets while reading a good book.

Since he’s the second son, he wasn’t really paid as much attention to as his brother. Their parents weren’t too strict with him hence why he got to choose whatever he wanted as he grew up.

Due to him prioritizing art a lot, he can be insensitive of those around him and not notice when he’s actually hurting people.

He’s a happy-go-lucky type of guy, but when it’s business, it’s business. He will get pissed off at you if you distract him from work. No excuses.

Since he grow up with a protective older brother, it may have been the cause of his slight bratty/spoiled personality

He likes the idea of soulmates. He’s very curious and would like to meet them and know if it’s real or not.

He’s a casanova who’s been into poly relationships, so he’s curious to see what his soulmate would think of that.

Ursprünglich mal als zwei separate Songs produziert aber dann zusammen als Single veröffentlicht, hatte der Track auch einen großen Einfluss in der R’nB, Hip Hop und Techno Szene Amerikas und das bis in 2000er hinein.

Weiss gar nicht ob dieses Video ein offizielles ist, es passt aber ziemlich gut in den Vibe… 😺

Many early electronic popular musicians or the collectives of that sort continue to have an enormous influence upon the modern scenes as we have noticed in our talks. Well, the next one I shall mention might be heartbreaking, since I'm discussing Yellow Magic Orchestra. You see, both Takahashi and Sakamoto died recently, so they became a past tense, though we must be honest – they mostly toured in the last few years with no rumblings of a possible album. Then again, each member continued with the ethos of their trio on their own solo careers. Moreover, Yellow Magic Orchestra could be seen as one of the most successful early electronic popular collectives. Still, this wouldn't have happened, had Sakamoto and Takahashi declined an invitation by Hosono.
