Influences

She couldn’t be doing this, right?

Right?

It had been weeks since the announcement of Zenith’s death and the colony was fine, everything seemed to be in order. No more Zenith, and the rift that apparently formed had created a boundary line, preventing any survivors from entering the city. Why would they anyways, it was over right?

Right?

Her body shook, hands clutching her head as she did her best to press herself against the corner of her room. Something was wrong with her, dreams of the past with that wretched hedgehog haunted her every time she dared sleep. Not to mention her feelings about her colony began to shift drastically. Doubts and concerns for her well being rose without her consent, as if she was in danger. No, they were her family, they wouldn’t do anything with her now that Zenith was dead, right?

Right?

Something that wasn’t the colony was starting to toy with her thoughts. Emotions that she thought she could handle were now out of her control. She wouldn’t sleep, not when she’d wake up with Shadow by her side and find herself in her favorite blue pajamas, back when things were simple. It would only get worse from there, a blink of her eyes and Shadow was gone, a large patch of blood forming in the area where he once laid.

You let your last hope of ever having the life you always dreamed of, killed. Now there is no hope for you and the world you thought so fondly of once.

“STOP IT,” she screamed to no one in particular, trembling hands going to yank on her horns as if that might put an end to the voice. Tears trickled down her cheeks, the girl reaching a hand into her gown to pull out the Warp ring Black Doom had given her to travel with. It looked a lot like Shadow’s inhibitor ring. Moon let out a sob, bringing the golden ring close to her chest.

Doom would soon catch wind of her distress and then there would be nothing she could do. He’d fix everything that was wrong with her. Though, while she was like this, she felt it right to make at least one mistake.

Quietly, the frail girl sent out a call to a friend, one that she knew wasn’t heavily connected to the colony. At least, not enough to deem her actions unreasonable. Despite the fact that she had been expecting, the opening of her door caused her to flinch.

Kyrul.

The small creature approached her cautiously, looking rather disturbed by her emotional distress. Moon tries to hold back a sob, a weak smile forming as she  offers her hand for examination. The small Black Arm seemed skittish, but did not refuse to sniff and soon rub its smooth body against her shaky hand.

There, there.

While the Black Arm’s attention was elsewhere, she drew out the Warp ring, glancing back and forth between the creature and the ring. It would be now or never. With that being her last thoughts, she took a deep breath and brought up an image in her mind of the forest, where that alternate had brought her. Where she had been shot.

Don’t hate me for this.

The ring opened up and Moon snatched the insignificant creature and threw it through the ring. A shriek left the small Black Arm, hitting the dirt on the other side with a ‘plop’. Even before it could get its bearings, the Warp ring fell and hit it on the head, leaving it disoriented as the sound of voices could be heard a few feet away.

“I couldn’t have imagined a better use for it anyways,” the young girl murmured to herself as her body slumped against the wall. It wasn’t too much time after when Eclipse paid a visit, requesting her presence.

Where she was told that the energy from the earth crust was contaminating her and that she’d have to be incubated for a while.

Alda:

8. He’s actually insecure about his missing eye, ergo it’s the one that he’s always hiding behind his hair. He rarely shows it off on purpose.

14. Alda is bisexual! (He’s also slept with a lot of people *winkwink)

16. Alda does not have any pets, although if he were to have one, he would definitely want a cat (catfish? haha).

Sable

8. Sable isn’t really one to keep “big secrets”, actually! However, he has been told that he talks in his sleep…

14. Sable isn’t actually sure of his sexuality. He describes himself as demisexual with a preference for masculine or non-binary folks, but he’s not really set on a label.

16. Sable has two beta fish! One is a red crowntail betta named Berry and the other is a white doubletail betta named Sponge. He loves them very much~

THE TWINS

8. Okay, these two have so much dirt on each other, but one big secret they share is that they used to have each other’s ink colors when they were younger! Finn used to be pink and Jett used to be blue, but as they grew up they somehow changed colors. Even their parents were confused.

14. Both of the twins are homosexual. (Jett knew first.)

16. Finn has a very sweet little ball python named Percy, and Jett has a cat named Butters. 

Kyrul

8. Kyrul used to be part of a youth rebel group who wanted to take back the zap fish from Inkopolis. Originally they wanted to improve living conditions for everyone back home, but the group split when their leader went missing, and Kyrul left a little while later. He doesn’t bring it up since the half that wanted to keep stealing the zapfish started causing more serious harm and have built a bad name for themselves.

14. Kyrul is gray-asexual, and has had very few partners.

16. Kyrul isn’t super into pets, and would rather share one than own one himself, so currently he has none. He also doesn’t have a preference for any animal- he likes them all.

Boa

8. Boa is actually prone to getting nervous before turf or rank battles, and he worries a lot about making too many mistakes or losing. This makes him choke up sometimes during a fight, and he can be a really sore loser but it hides him being hard on himself.

14. Boa is my youngest (at 19 pft) so he’s still figuring himself out and is too busy trying to be the best so he can fight Alda, so he doesn’t really care about sex or romance. 

16. Boa would have SO MANY DOGS. He loves them so so much, but his family current has one very small and very cute corgi named Tito.

Kaiser

8. He and Alda have done the nastyyyy >>"

14. Kaiser is pansexual.

16. Kaiser reaaaaaally loves goldfish. He has three comet goldfish (Basil, Soldier and Pookie), but one day he wants to be able to have another tank for either oranda goldfish or veiltail goldfish.

Sable really likes cute people (both in personality and aesthetically), he loves someone with a sense of humor, and really looks for someone who is a good listener

Finn loves adventurous people with lots of energy, cheesy movie dates and obviously someone who likes snakes =u=

Jett likes someone who can hold a long conversation with him, very cuddly people, and someone who is confident

Kyrul isn’t attracted to enough people to really know the specifics of what he likes 

BOA IS MY BABY I CAN’T ANSWER THIS FOR HIM >______________> (he is also not interested in anything to do with dating so he doesn’t care haha)

Kaiser really likes people with drive who can put up a fight and are even  aggressive, but he also has a major soft spot for someone who is gentle-hearted, and he also likes someone who can dress well (having a sense of style i suppose?)

I wasn’t really sure on how “turn ons” was defined in this ask so i just went with what each character likes in a partner hehe >>”
