I love you (this is a prompt but also me telling you I love you)

Louis had been thinking about it for a while. Maybe if he just said it things would be easier. But, every time he felt himself on the verge, he chickened out.

It’s not like Harry even knew Louis had feelings for him— though, honestly how could he not? Niall was constantly teasing him about it. Never around Harry. Thank god. That would be embarrassing.

He had a feeling Harry felt the same way, but imagine if he spilled his feelings and Harry laughed in his face? Okay, fine. He was too nice to laugh at Louis. God. He was spiraling.

“Are you even listening to me?”

Louis blinked a few times, eyes focused back on Harry. “What?”

“I said— I’m going to get your sisters that new Kylie make-up for their birthday. I know they’ve been asking for it.”

Louis’ mouth popped open. “My— sisters? You’ve been talking to them?”

Harry rolled his eyes, pulled his phone out and handed it to Louis. “We text everyday.”

Louis took the offered phone, swallowing harshly at the slew of text messages between his sisters’ and Harry. “A groupchat?”

The other man’s face flushed a bright red and he ran a hand through his hair, “Yeah? Is that not okay? I didn’t think it would be an issue I me—.”

“Harry,” Louis threw his hands around, at a loss for words. “You…” His mouth opened and closed. He heaved a sigh.

“Louis?” Harry’s eyebrows were furrowed, clearly confused for very good reason.

“I love you.” Louis said, maintaining clear eye contact, though it almost sounded more like a question. Then, more conclusive he said, “I love you. Like— I’m in love with you.”

Harry’s eyes widened and his jaw clenched, “Oh, um—.”

“Oh, god. You don’t feel the same—.”

“No, I didn—.”

“Please, just forget I even said anything. I’ve been thinking it for a while and it was just like word vomit. I’m sorry, please just—.”

“Louis.” Harry practically shouted, a hint of laughter in his voice.

Louis snapped his mouth shut.

“You’re an idiot.” He shook his head and then cupped Louis’ head, thumbs pressed to his jaw, as he pulled him in and sealed their lips together.

Louis’ grunted, confused, but pressed back, fisted his hands in the back of Harry’s shirt. When his brain finally caught up, he pulled away quickly eyes trailing over Harry’s face. “Wait, do you—?”

“Yes, of course I do.” Harry scoffed and licked over his bottom lip. “Always have.” He gave a quick peck to a Louis’ lips again. “I love you, Louis.”

“Well, that’s a relief.” Louis sighed and rested their foreheads together.

“Your sisters are going to be so excited.” Harry said with a smirk, eyes playful. “They’ve been asking me to tell you for ages.”

“What?”

I'm so glad you like her!! So, for her history, I don't really know that it would change THAT much. Though, I do have the distinct idea that her father's abuse also probably included some rampant homophobia, since I'm sure even as a child she was more on the masculine side. In fact, it probably took her way longer than normal to come to terms with the fact that she was a lesbian because of it.

In addition, she probably had to fight that much harder to make it through the military. The military isn't exactly kind to women as it is. She essentially learned quickly that in order to be taken seriously, she had to be twice as good, twice as strong, twice as lethal as everyone else, and she trained accordingly. It's how she got onto Price's radar.

Over time, and especially after Mexico (where the events remain unchanged from the canon story), she just. Stopped giving a damn about other peoples' perception of her. She's stared death in the face and told it to fuck off (and it listened), so why should she care?

As for how "out" she is, it's more of an open secret kinda thing. She won't deny it if you ask, but she's not wildly open about it and doesn't tend to offer that info unprompted.

BOY DO I!!

- horrible horrible stomach sensitivities. definitely the type to get motion sick extremely easily!

- probably some pretty bad food sensitivities as well… prefers to eat light

- to add onto this i think once atsushi brought him on a date to a restaurant and not wanting to look weird akutagawa definitely ate more than he was used to 😭 atsushi brought him home and cared for him, feeling awful that he didn’t know about his food sensitivities

- very nervous about letting people see him in a vulnerable position! i think he would only let gin and atsushi close when he’s not feeling his best

- similar to kunikida, he does not let illness stop him from working! he will go until he drops

- as much as he loves tummy rubs when he’s feeling ill, since his tummy is so sensitive you have to be extremely cautious while touching it 😭 slightest bit of pressure will send him into a heaving fit
