The more I reflect on the show, the more I understand and am happy with the plot and dialogue deviations. I think this comes from my realisation that it’s not just dialogue from the book they had to transfer, but moreover Lucy’s descriptive narration as well, and turn that into new dialogue and story. Additionally, they have to be able to show perspectives other than Lucy’s, which I think they did exceptionally well.

To sum it all up I just wished he was. More. Yk? I wish Mario and Co. recognized him. It’s such an interesting plotline and it was just WAAASTED (I ALSO WISH HE DIDN’T HAVE AMNESIA ABOUT IT it makes sense that he does but like MANNN COME ONNN).

I also wish we saw more of him. I had this concept come to me a while back where in the game we would switch to Mr. L every now and then and get a better, “more personal” inside look at Team Bleck. While controlling him, we’d would idk walk around and talk to other minions (and maybe get hints to some Castle Bleck puzzles?). I feel like it would’ve been a really cool way to get more character development and really amp up the “ these bad guys are people too” narrative that SPM built itself on.

Basically I’d keep his role the same! Just more fleshed out and not treated almost like a gag

The psychic mindspace thing is new but I suppose it's hard to visually translate a superpower that is basically just vibes reading.

Also, making Annie Ward a redhead after amping up Norrie's emotional role in her past and making her a redhead… I see what you did there.

Hospitals must be tough on people with psychic sensitivity to death. No wonder they tend to avoid going as much as possible.

They're making ghost-induced comas a much bigger deal in the show; I think I remember one case in the books. Maybe TV doesn't want to show children dying/tiny corpses and this was their workaround? S&L cut not only the number of episodes but also 7 regular cast members so far. Looks like All American and AAH will have big cuts as well.

Why are they announcing this so early? Is Nextar bragging that they won the negotiation?

I'm also wondering why haven't we hear if Walker will have these type of cuts as well or if reducing the number of episodes is enough.

Link. It's not uncommon to announce pay cuts as part of good PR, like when the original principle cast of The Big Bang Theory took $100,000-per-episode pay cut (10% of their salary) to raise the salaries of Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch. Jonah Hill famously worked for scale so he could be in The Wolf of Wall Street. Keanu Reeves semi-regularly took pay cuts to raise the salaries of either his co-star or the special effects workers.

Walker had pay cuts in form of reduced number of episodes. But compared to other shows, it appears that is all it is. There are no reports of reducing the number of series-regular cast members. Superman & Lois has a large regular cast - as well as the Kents, there are the Cushings and the Irons in every single episode, plus their associated assistant characters. While S&L cast bloat is not as bad as Grey's Anatomy or Blue Blood, I had this thing that I call the Winnebago Problem - when your regular cast is too big to fit in a Winnebago, finding things for them all to do is difficult.  Heck, the cast of Supernatural can fit in a Volkswagen Beetle and writers still have problems finding stuff for Castiel to do.

For companies, pay cuts sounds better than "layoffs". Layoffs are viewed as being a PR disaster while pay-cuts are not because it's considered more humane option when it comes to cost savings.   With that said, about half of these publicized pay cuts are publicity stunts to earn good will among the public, especially if it result in increase in stock share price rises which most of the executives' earnings come from.

Hi Marte! How will you know if a celebrity's sexuality is being seeded to the public? Because in some cases it could be gaybaiting or it could be them expressing their sexuality without thinking much into it. This always has me stumped because I've been there plenty of times when I thought Harry's sexuality was being seeded to the gp but then he would go and do a stunt or start a new pr relationship. I thought him releasing Lights Up on national CO day was him working towards CO and there were lots of articles speculating about it too but then he went on to do the WS music vid, his most heterosexual push ever. I, and others, thought he was going to CO with MP but then Holivia happened. I think that if HL were CO anytime soon then BG would end. That would be the biggest hint. But generally speaking, and not just for HL, how would you tell the difference if the seeding of someone's sexuality is leading anywhere or it's just for attention or them expressing their selves?

I think seeding a coming out for a celebrity might look different for different celebrities, because their closets are different and their target audience might be different. But in general, changing the narrative and using tabloids and media to make people aware of said celebrity's queercoding, and highlighting inconsistencies in their het image and narrative. Combined with the celebrity being single and amping up the queercoding in the private sphere. That would be something i'd look for.

I've talked about how i think H and L's coming out would look here. I think they'll come out together, so i expect to see seeding for both of them.

I think early seeding for H would contain media dragging up old quotes of his like the "not that important" quote and H saying that his friends and family knows how he identifies. They would also probably do a "5 times Harry supported the lgbtq+ community" and show the gp how many queer friends and queer coworkers he's got. Some may start to think he's an ally, and some might start to speculate about his sexuality. They could also do a throwback to when H dated Cara (who later came out) or do an article speculating about H's motivation for taking on the role of a gay closeted policeman in MP and suggest H identified with the character. Do it pretty explicitly. Some of the women who've claimed to have dated him can publicly state that nothing ever happened between them and it was media exaggerating everything.

The gp need to be slowly made aware that H's womaniser image might hide a different side to him, and that there might be some truth to the speculation around his sexuality. I'd expect H to be publicly single when this is happening and queercoding through his clothes and accessories, have a papped lunch with Elton John, go to a pride parade or be papped coming from a gay bar or club. There will be school friends talking about H kissing boys when he was in school (it doesn’t need to be true), and ex gfs from way back saying they thought he was gay.

H hinting through his music, his artist image and stage persona wouldn't be enough. It needs to be done in the private sphere, when he's off work for people to understand it is not a selling point or queerbaiting, it's him queercoding because he's gay.

Falconi spent two years in Vietnam, from '67 to '69, and he came home with a new determination to live by his own rules. The army showed him how to focus on his goals and work to reach them.

From the sugar-coated pop of Wham! to the Bo Diddley-esque acoustic strum of “Faith,” George Michael wasted no time at all in becoming a British pop legend. After spending years as a teenage pin-up thanks to Wham!’s fun-living jollity “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go,” “Club Tropicana.” The London-born singer-songwriter sprung a timeless solo-credited classic on the world with 1984’s “Careless Whisper,” a song he co-wrote, aged 17, with his Wham! counterpart Andrew Ridgeley. Michael would go fully solo in 1987, taking over MTV with his leather-clad, guitar-slinging image and breaking records when his debut solo album scored 4 consecutive U.S. No.1 Hits. Such as: Faith, Father Figure, One More Try and Monkey).

In 1984 George Michael also performed with the charity Band Aid on the holiday single “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” to benefit Ethiopian famine relief. Michael and Ridgeley also donated the proceeds of their hit holiday single “Last Christmas” and “Everything She Wants” to Band Aid’s charitable efforts.

On 13th July 1985, Wham! performed to raise funds for Ethiopian famine again at Live Aid, it was there that Michael and Elton John sang John’s classic “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me,” at Wembley Stadium in London.

Jagger and Amy Millar HX Jump to Stardom at the CSI 4 World Equestrian Center

The$ 31,500 Speed Challenge CSI4* stole the show this afternoon for the first Fédération Equestre International ( FEI ) &nbsp, CSI4*/CSI2* week of the 2024 Winter Spectacular Show Series. Amy Millar ( CAN ) rode Team Eye Candy’s Jagger HX ( Ustinov x Bustique ), and top athletes from nine different countries competed against Gregory Bodo ( FRA ) and Pieter Vitse ( BEL ) on the speed track. &nbsp,

Millar had a positive start to her first week at the World Equestrian Center – Ocala. The pair piloted the 10-year-old Royal Dutch Sport Horse – Dutch Warmblood ( KWPN) gelding through a lightning-fast record and clocked in at an amazing 71.25 hours, nearly four hours ahead of second place to take home the winning name.

For Jagger HX, this was his first appearance in a four-star contest. I’ve owned him for two years with Eye Candy Jumpers ‘ Erica Hatfield. He has been trained and placed where he needs to be by us. He merely turned 10 this month, and he is truly unique. He’s so much fun to journey, it’s really simple for him. After now, I am even more enthusiastic about his upcoming because this is his first ever four-star competition.

A fresh place for Millar, the World Equestrian Center– Ocala, left a lasting effect. It’s amazing, they say. This is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. I am amazed at how good everyone is. The attention to detail is outstanding, the hotel has stunning hauling, there is a lot of room, and the rubber flooring is ideal for horses. It’s like a special area.
