I KNEW I KNEW HENRY FROM SOMEWHERE!
Ryan robbins plays Ladon in SGA, and Henry in sanctuary. I KNEW he looked familiar, and I was just watching something on SGA and saw him and went, “Hold up,” and had to rewind it to see.
So so so so so many people from Stargate, in sanctuary.
Even Jonathan Young had a small part in SGA as some flower scientist guy.
Anyway. My latest discovery

the best part in Coup D'etat is when Cowen asks how to use the earth radio and gestures to Ladon and Ladon just twist the little radio knob with the energy of 'my boss makes twice what i do but still asks me to rotate a PDF fml' but politely smiling because he knows hes going to kill the guy

SGA Background Character Register
Pegasus Natives | Genii
-
Decided to start a Pegasus Native register
I'm debating on adding a sheet that describes these characters' attributes so they can be easily added to any fic
-
Notes:
- Only Genii with names - Canonically female characters are marked because there are less of them - Alive: Meaning we never saw them die or been informed of their death
Feel free to use this as you see fit just please keep my user name on the image

Percy doesn't think, he never fucking thinks.
That's the last thought John has before watching the kid take the hit for him. Jump in front of the bullet and get shot through the damn heart because he won't stop and think things through.
John is their best bargaining chip after McKay. The Genii would be stupid to kill him first, and any one here knows it. Ladon only shot because Percy moved.
But now there's a Lieutenant bleeding out in John's arms while he spits profanity at Ladon Radim.
He isn't making it out of this alive.
All of them can see it. Percy can't speak clearly, already. He's losing his train of thought. He's losing the ability to hold himself up.
He is feeling heavier by the second in John's  arms.
Ladon has already walked out. His point has been made.
Everyone but Atlantis’ core staff are expendable. Killable.
And until he finds a way out of here, John is helpless to stop it.

Share 10 facts about an OC
Thanks for sending this (and for everything you do for the OC community) 💜
I'll do one of my OCs that's not a main, Corric Indo. One of my SGA OCs.
His mother was Genii, but his father was not. They were never married and Corric is the result of a one night stand. His mother had no interest in having a child, so he was raised by his father until he was 15.
When he arrived at the Genii homeworld after his father's death, he had a hard time making friends. Eventually, he met the Radim siblings and the three of them became a close knit group.
His younger cousin, Sora, views him as a big brother. She is 12 years younger than him and is rather attached to him as he's her only living family.
He tried to participate in the Genii military when he came of age, but struggled with the physical aspects required. He instead decided to follow a more scientific approach, becoming the best medic the Genii have ever had.
Doesn't spend a lot of time outside the main compound. Spends most of his time underground and usually only visits the surface for the occasional festival and for emergencies.
He is bisexual, or as I refer to him "Radimsexual". The only people he has ever shown romantic/sexual interest in have been Dahlia and Ladon.
Workaholic and does not take good care of himself. Spends most nights sleeping in his office so he can be on hand if someone has a medical emergency in the middle of the night.
Despite the above fact, he constantly gets on Dahlia's case for acting in a similar way. Most of their fights revolve around this. He also pushes Mina to take better care of herself, and she occasionally forces him to get proper rest, telling him to stop being a hypocrite.
Tends to be a bit unorganized and scatterbrained. He calls it "organized chaos" but there isn't really much organization involved.
Is one of the most drastically changed OCs that I have. His age, face claim, background, and race have changed significantly since I first started creating him.

Here’s some screencaps of Ladon Radim and Sora Tyrus.  I do appreciate that their overall reaction to Sheppard’s actions makes the Genii’s later seemingly subdued response makes sense.  They’re basically like “you know what, we invaded their base so it checks out that he’d do whatever it takes to attempt reclaiming it just like us if our positions were reversed”.  I also suspect if Kolya admitted to his lie in whatever debrief took place, that would add an additional layer of “if an invader claimed to kill Cowen, yeah we would also enact bloody vengeance”.
Honestly, these two have a good rapport in “The Eye”, so I remain totally convinced that they were underused in general and that their dynamic was absolutely a missed opportunity.  That goes double to see how (if?) Sora and Teyla would interact following their fight in this episode’s climax.

Underused fc challenge - Ryan Robbins
Day 7 : favorite underused fc

Henry does get more screen time as the series goes on and is an awesome character the whole time! Also, you may have noticed this already, but when I first watched Sanctuary it took me forever to realize that Ryan Robbins, who plays Henry, is the same actor who played Ladon Radim in Stargate: Atlantis. (The beard and haircut plus his excellent acting made him seem very different in each role!)
I'm only 30 or so minutes into s1 episode 6 of sanctuary, and I swear Henry has no right to be that good of a character for someone with so little screen time compared to the rest of them.
Amanda tapping slipping out of the British accent every now and then for certain words is adorable, I can just hear Sam 🥰
Also, the interaction between Will and Helen, then Will and Ashley, had my mouth gaping.
And, side note, watching it while I'm writing, Henry's, "I've got suction and I'm not afraid to use it," is honestly iconic to me.
And his "Women and geeks first, oh wait that's all of us,"
Henry and Helen are my favourites so far. Though I do love them all. I'm loving sanctuary so far :D

Evan Lorne in Every Episode - Coup D'Etat (S02E17)
This episode was frustrating for getting decent caps of Lorne. He's either hidden behind a thick metal cage or people. So these are the best I could do.

With the negotiations finally done for the day, Ladon followed Sheppard into the unfamiliar room— and was slammed back against the wall the moment the door closed behind them.
“I knew I’d read you right,” Sheppard growled, eyes flashing; and then his mouth was on Ladon’s and all Ladon’s thoughts scattered like chaff on the wind. All he managed to do was moan, the sound muffled by Sheppard’s tongue in his mouth as they fumbled blindly at the various fastenings of one another’s clothes.
Ladon should have had a quicker time of it, pushing Sheppard’s already-open jacket off his shoulders to fall to the floor with a soft whump of fabric before moving down to the Atlantean’s belt and fly. But his progress was severely hampered by the way the man’s hips were pressed against him, pinning him hard to the wall, and the fact that Sheppard’s hands had slid up under his shirt the moment his jacket was unbuttoned, the touch sending shivers dancing across Ladon’s bared skin and distracting him even further.
Ladon was already panting by the time Sheppard broke away, leaning back to strip his own black t-shirt off over his head and then tug Ladon’s pants open. And the sight he made— already messy hair even more disheveled, lips red and kiss-swollen, his leanly muscled torso bare above those combat pants riding tantalizingly low on his hips…
He had absolutely no right to look so good.
