so far this was a really ship-heavy season I normally am not a shipper with this show but boy did this season change that

My top 5 ships of season 3 of the Witcher

5. This is a bit of a crack ship since Lambert isn’t coming back in the show, but who wouldn’t love two catty snarky and sexy redheads? I like to think these two find each other in this universe as well

4. Triss and Istredd: had a ton of chemistry from the moment they were in the library together, loved seeing them work together I'm a fan of the " the other people in the love triangle get together" trope also I love that they are both rocking the 80s look

3. Vespula and Jaskier: I love that they included her character and the love/ hate relationship they have and that they showed Jask being a slut instead of just stating it, that whole scene with them together took me out

2. radskier : Joey and Hugh have so much chemistry in the few scenes we got,  Radovid being the one person to see through Jaskiers facade and see him for who he really is, Jaskier not wanting to fall for him but doesn't wait to figure out what the prince is actually up to, if anything, the potential for angst in vol 2, I was skeptical about this but they did it so well, but its not the most shocking ship related thing in season 3.... for me

Yenralt: wow I didn't think it was possible, after Man of Steel, BvS, and two seasons of The Witcher I didn't think it was possible for Cavil to have any chemistry with his on-screen love interests, but I was wrong seeing them finally choose to be open and tender with one another after all that happened was sooo satisfying, episode 5 managed to do something for me that even the games couldn't do, make me a Yenralt shipper, the recreation of the scenes from the book at the ball were chefs kiss, I also liked that they chose to show tender intimate moments of them in bed and in the bath rather than just a sex scene for fanservice, I love them together and now I'm sad thinking about part 2

“You're a cheery one,” says Keira, and he realizes she's read his thoughts and feels cold with it.

“If you poke around in there, we're not doing this,” he growls, and she shushes him, which only gets his ire up even more. She rises to her knees and catches an arm around his waist before he can shuffle away.

“As you wish. I won't peek, I promise,” she says. “Your thoughts are a bore anyhow.”

She touches her lips to his jaw and fits both hands to his hips, the teasing scrape of her long nails sending a shiver through him. He lets the little sting drive the last hesitance from him.

He's had a shit go of it lately. He deserves this. A moment of uncomplicated pleasure, even if it is with some witch from the swamps who probably fucked his brother first.

iorveth headcanon; you're Geralt's adoptive daughter and have a birthday

well, you're almost 100 years old but for him you're a little child

he found you fighting for your life in a street arena

and decided to take you with him (well, he just saw magical necklace and wanted to show that Triss)

when Geralt had amnesia you were looking for him and finished up in Flotsam. you were in the wrong place at the wrong time so you met Iorveth by accident.

firstly he was surprised that you went here unnoticed by his guards.

when Vesemir said that you're going to have a birthday party in Kaer Morhen you immediately thought about Iorveth

you entered the main chamber and saw all of the witchers + some friends of you and Geralt

yup, Vernon Roche was there. You didn't know why Geralt invited him but you hoped that he wouldn't make troubles

and then you saw a red scarf

you greeted the witchers and sorcerers, all that while looking at the place where you saw the scarf

"hello (name), you didn't expect me here, do you?"

"to be honest can you just shut up?" said Lambert

Keira, Triss and Yennefer in the same place at the same time... That can't end up good

of course Jaskier must have said something about Roche and Iorveth which make Vernon angry

Iorveth wasn't very comfortable because it was his first meeting with your, ekhem, "family", ekhem.

Geralt was like a typical father. He stared at Iorveth when he tried to hug/kiss/do anything to you.

Lambert was kinda like an older brother who wants to kill anyone that touches her little sister but didn't show that as much as Geralt

Yennefer had enough with those mf

Triss was happy to see you but every Geralt x Yen scene makes her drink even more alcohol (she really wants to recover after her unrequited love)

Eskel had tried to talk with Iorveth before you arrived, but they both were stressed and awkward towards each other (Iorveth was too serious when Eskel tried to joke. He really wanted to make the best first impression but... But kinda failed. Well, even so, they became friends)

at the end of the day every one of you was exhausted

Nine Lines Nine People

Hello thank you for the tag @justhereforeskel sorry about the delay! I've been procrastinating.

This little 9-line snippet is for my wip DP Lambert, which a sort-of sequel to my work Copy-Cat, where Keira rescues Kiyan after mistaking him for Lambert's lost Cat, only to come home to Lambert and the real Aiden fucking in her bathtub. It's more or less implied that they've worked it out by now, and Keira and Aiden have a little surprise for their partner.

Familiar leather straps, soft as butter and the loveliest ruby red Keira could find in the shop, settle ever-so snugly around her hips as she tightens them. The buckles rest cooly against her skin, just enough bite to play on the softness of the leather. It had cost her a pretty pile of crowns, more than she really ought to have spent on such a bauble while she still lived in Velen, of all shameful places.

She runs her fingers over the design stamped into the straps, geometric and perfectly placed. A lovely embellishment, and an expensive one. But Lambert had pitched in. And it just fit her so well. She rolls her hips idly, tests the feel, the weight of it.

“Gods, I knew he missed me.”

Aiden looks down on the piece-de-resistance, green eye shining with tears of all things.

who takes longer in the bathroom? Lambert or Keira?

The obvious answer is Keira, because she’s very meticulous about her appearance and probably has a 17-step skincare routine, while Lambert does a quick shave in the morning and washes his face with plain soap and running water, because that’s all the men in his family have ever done (which has Keira internally screaming).

BUT (because the other way around is so much funnier), the day they officially moved in together, Keira brought along all her products, shampoos, lotions, creams, balms, perfumes, and claimed a not insignificant portion of the space in Lambert’s bathroom.

He complained about it, of course, but couldn’t help being vaguely curious about why exactly Keira would need so many different things to do something that takes him exactly ten minutes. (He’s never moved in with a woman before; he’s seen some of his exes’ bathrooms, but they weren’t close enough for him to feel comfortable digging through their stuff.)

So he studies the packages, examines the composition, opens some of them to take a sniff (and wrinkles his nose at the artificial scents), sometimes even tries them on when he has a pretty good idea of what they’re for and how to use them. It’s not an unpleasant experience. He had no idea the skin of his legs and arms wasn’t supposed to feel so dry; he just thought it was part of those things in life you simply had to deal with.

But Keira is beginning to get part suspicious and part worried, because Lambert has never taken that long in the bathroom before, so she takes a peek in, just to check that he didn’t hit his head and fall in the shower. When she sees him with one of her lotions in hand, she rushes in, saying, “these are EXPENSIVE, why couldn’t you just ask me, you’re only supposed to use this one after a cleansing lotion in the evenings, and you don’t even know your skin type—”

Lambert is embarrassed to be caught trying on such terribly girly products, but Keira will have none of it and is very much willing to explain how everything is supposed to be used after she’s calmed down :)
