My chat and I talk CONSTANTLY about Marluxia being so peanutbutter and jealous over Saïx being Xemnas' fave special boy and being big mad because does he want to be in Saïx's place or does he want to be Saïx or does he want to be WITH Saïx god he's a mess and he's going to go sit and talk to a potted plant until he feels a bit better. Why is that stuck up moon prick so pretty and insufferable and whats his deal and is he free of Friday night? of course he wouldn't be UGH he's such a dickhead nevermind but he's so cute tho

I think. They would have amazing chemistry if for the love of god they just pulled their heads out of their asses and sat and had a normal convo however my take on these silly little disneyanime guys is far removed from canon ajsdhask hence why it both does and doesn't make sense. Like absolutely they're both self-serving (to an extent) jerks who are narrow-viewed and focused only on their own gain and its physically impossible for either of them to care at all but. Man. If they had a little more time to just chill and hang out and discuss things like normal people I think they'd have a lot in common and would actually get along and be civil and hell can you imagine them working together poor Xemnas wouldn't stand a chance against his two fave bitch prettymen coming for his throat arm in arm

I feel like they'd be that kind of couple that are either like cat and dog and fight constantly and bicker and spit vitriol and no one knows why the fuck they're together because PATENTLY whatever this is isn't working (when actually no one *gets it* except the other and they have a strange and corrosive bond) or its just like. They just click. Theyre seamless with one another. there's a flow, an equilibrium, they both want the same things and can look at something and process it the same way. I think they'd be absolutely despicable together as Nobodies, Literally cataclysmic levels of insufferable cunt and snide violence and god poor Axel would never know peace. However I am very very much of the view that Any And All Nobody-based Romances are doomed to fail by the narrative so. Maybe it should be kept to a sordid little affair more than anything else. That would probably be the for best. You just know Saïx would be so super bent out of shape abt it tho lmaoooo

I'm a sucker for XemSai (as I'm sure everyone knows well by now) but I'm also a big sucker for LauriEven/MarVex and one of my big headcanons for the latter is that post kh3 when things have settled down, Lauriam and Isa hang out. Isa is friends with Even more than Lauriam but. I really really like the idea of Lauriam perhaps approaching Isa and just being normal around him? They go out on coffee runs and just talk, they meet up every so often to catch up, talk about how Lea and the kids are and how Radiant Garden is coming together again and yes the flowers here are so nice and I understand why you would want to live here and I Just! Really Like! Isa being a supportive character towards semi-dad-figure Even and now that everyone is cool and not wanting to murder each other Lauriam is actually really civil and dare he think it even good for dear old Even and Isa just kinda! Likes him! They become friends. Like friends with no baggage, no pressure, just hey if Isa swings around RG way again do you wanna get lunch and catch up? Theyre just normal guys now with a lot in common and a future ahead and its just comfortable having someone similar a phonecall away that is happy to listen and provide a fresh outlook on daily things, yknow?

I think. all the time. About a LauriEven marriage where Isa is asked at the reception to dance with them both because he's like. Even sees him as 'one of the kids he saw grow up' and they bonded over their work and they've always gotten along, surrogate son and dad relationship, and Lauriam, softened and approachable with his new heart just as Isa is, feels able to reach out and know that Isa is ever-reliable and genuinely wants things to be better for everyone. I just think that they'd make really really nice like family-friends who platonically love and appreciate each other once they have hearts..... as Nobodies, maybe not so much ahsdgahskd

I know my take on isa is generally very soft and doting but just let me have this asdhaskjdj

anyway this was a rambling splurge of words and I will be thinking about this for the rest of the evening thank you I love this I am going to go sit in my bathtub and think about the symbolism of moonflowers a lot.

tl;dr: I love them as a platonic ship but there is def potential there and I love them both separately (and with others) so so much

LauriEven + 'Morning dew'

Omg, that's a nice one! 💜

Even is a scientist, coming from a family of scholars. While he's very passionate about science (especially researching human body), he's also slowly burning out thanks to his family's pressure – so far, Even is the only person, who hasn't made any breakthrough discovery yet. As a way of fighting with stress, Even often takes walks in a local community garden. He usually does that in early morning, when there's barely anyone there. One day he meets Lauriam – a cute hobbyist gardener. Even is charmed with Lauriam's beauty, grace and how passionate he is about flowers. They start meeting in the garden regularly, with Lauriam explaining Even about various flowers and ways of taking care of them.

With time, Even falls in love with Lauriam. Unfortunately, when he confesses, he gets rejected. Heartbroken, Even stops coming to the garden for some time. However, when the stress connected with his work becomes too much, he goes there again. Of course, he finds Lauriam there... Collapsed in the flowers. Even takes him to a hospital. Later that day, he goes there to check on Lauriam. Lauriam thanks him and they have a heart-to-heart.

It turns out, that Lauriam is also in love with Even. Why did he reject him then? Lauriam is suffering from some incurable chronic illness, that is slowly killing him. He's afraid, that seeing him wither away will only hurt Even. Even assures him, that it's not a problem for him and he'll love him no matter, what. They start dating and, after a couple of months, Even talks Lauriam into moving in with him, so he can help him with daily life – the symptoms of the illness significantly impair Lauriam's life.

In secret, Even researches the illness, looking for a cure. Unfortunately, it turns out there is no way of curing it. At one point Even, tired of keeping it secret (and noticing, that his boyfriend might suspect something), tells Lauriam about his research. He's sure Lauriam will hate him for this failure. However, Lauriam is moved by Even's dedication to the cause instead. Also, it turns out, that, while there is no cure, Even did discover a couple of ways to relieve the symptoms.

Lauriam encourages Even to continue his research and, with time, Even becomes a widely known expert in chronic illnesses. In the meanwhile, he and Lauriam get married and live a very happy life together.

Names are Lauriam and Even.

1. Who kissed the other first? I feel like this time it was a mutual thing. Lauriam was like “are you ok with being kissed” and Even looked away while blushing, mumbled a yes, looked back and they kissed. Like that.

2. What was their first fight about? There are, yet again, many things these two could argue about. Yet again tracing back to when they were Nobodies, a lot of arguments may have went down. I’ll say that it was probably back when they were assigned to Castle Oblivion, Marluxia said he got the highest authority and Vexen was like “w h a t” and they argued. Hands were thrown.

3. Who sleeps in the couch more often? None of them. A work desk, however...

4. Who drinks coffee and who drinks tea? None of them drink coffee, Lauriam drinks tea, Vexen has a giant water bottle by his side at all times.

5. Who goes grocery shopping more often? Lauriam, probably? I’d imagine he has a thing for flowers still, and while he doesn’t impulsively buy flowers there are times where he’d see one and think to himself “have I raised that one yet” as if they were his own children. And while he’s out, he’d go grocery shopping as well! Two blocks with one shield.

6. Who brings breakfast in bed? Hm. Close call but it would probably be Lauriam. Even still has bad habits of staying up late to do his work and while he’s trying to fix them, it’s not going well. Lauriam brings him breakfast in bed on the days where he actually sleeps because he knows he cannot stop him from working until he passes out, so he energizes him instead.

7. Who sleeps first? Definitely Lauriam. Even cannot sleep until at least 1 AM.

8. Who watches the other sleeping? Surprisingly, this time it’s Lauriam. Even is, yet again, too busy to watch his lover sleep.

9. Who met the parents in law first? None of them. I’m going to be completely honest, I think Even’s parents are dead. I’m under the impression they died when Radiant Garden fell to darkness and it’s the same tune with Lauriam; his parents died when Daybreak Town flooded.

10. Who does the laundry? Even. Lauriam’s practically married to flowers so bad scents really mess him up.

11. Who washes the dishes? In one of my previous requests (I think it was Xigbar and Vexen) I mentioned a rule that went like “if you use it, you wash it”. Same rule applies here.

12. Who cleans up the house? Even, he’s a clean freak.

13. Who washes the car? If they had a car, it’d be a shared effort. But because they both practically live in Ansem’s Castle as apprentices, it’s not necessary so they never got one.

14. Who brings take outs? I mentioned Lauriam goes grocery shopping while on flower runs so take-outs would be the same, except he does it more than grocery shopping.

15. Who calls the other to ask if they want something from the street? Lauriam again. Even hardly gets out.

16. Who’s more likely to make plans? Joined effort; ideas are from Lauriam and additions/changes to suit both of them are Even’s duty.

17. Who dreams about a big wedding? Lauriam. You can argue that what he’s thinking about is “medium sized” but it’s bigger than what Even has in mind.

18. Who breaks the cups? I made this point with Larxene and Marluxia, but both Lauriam and Even had to have had really good grip to hold their weapons properly.

19. Who holds the umbrella? I think Even is taller, so it would be him.

20. Who takes the other to the dance floor? Lauriam, Even does not dance unless instructed on what to do.

21. Who does the big romantic gestures? Lauriam. I don’t think I really need to state why here.

22. Who’s more likely to serenade? Lauriam again, Even never picked up the hobby. Though he does hum subconsciously, but stops when he’s distracted by something important.

23. Who forgets the wet towel in bed? Even’s hair is longer, but it’d be Lauriam. I genuinely think that after the whole 2nd Keyblade war thing with Xehanort, and with Lauriam regaining his memories, he cut it so it was short like his younger self. But he still has the habit of drying it until it’s dry and that may take a while, so the towel is forgotten there.

24. Who doesn’t pick up things when they fall? Again, good grip. But Even if he’s sleep deprived.

25. Who keeps losing the keys? Lauriam, he goes out more and puts his keys in random places.

26. Who sings the rap part? None of them. Lauriam despises rapping, whereas Even does not do anything music-related on purpose.

27. Who pretends to be sad just so the other will cheer they up? Even. He may seem mature but when he wants attention oh he will get it.

28. Who wakes up ready for a marathon? None of them, they’re both either cranky or just tired after waking up.

29. Who buys them tickets for shows? Depends on who has more money on their hands that isn’t being used for bills and stuff, but it’s usually Even.

30. Who chooses the movie? Lauriam, but Even does get the final say.

31. Who says ‘I love you’ more often? Lauriam again, but it’s because Even gets embarrassed easily even when no one else is around.

32. Who keeps waving at people after they got engaged? Probably Lauriam, since he goes out more.

33. Who uses the most ridiculous nicknames for the other? Lauriam has the most nicknames for Even, but Even does call him “Rose Petal Effect” so this probably goes to Even.

34. Who’s responsible for date nights? Mutual agreement again; Lauriam lists the ideas, Even checks for additions and changes.

35. Who wakes up one day and decides to stay in bed? Even if he actually sleeps, but once he’s awake he is awake.

MarVex but Marluxia being new to the Organization made Vexen feel sorry for him. As he took care of him for testing and medical reasons, tending his wounds after fights, they grew closer and started their affair. It all fell apart after Marluxia became stronger and stronger, Vexen became jealous of his position and attention he was getting. Vexen started hating Marluxia for slowly abandoning him and for losing his own fragile power over the boy...

SO YEAH this is my MarVex lore, LOL, they are twisted and a big mess but I love them. Also already drew something like that years ago! Wanna do the proper redraw one day.

I don't think I've ever posted this LauriEven comics here??? Did it back in 2020 (Lauriam didn't have his freckles yet) and never finished... it ended up well! Lauriam talked some sense into Even's head and they went to make out, lol!
