About your platonic terminology post... I agree with some of what you said, and see the reasoning behind most of it, but I think that in rare cases, "heterosexual/homoromantic" can indeed have a place as a label. For example: an ace, homoromantic man dates a heterosexual, pan/homoromantic man. They are in love, they date, call each other boyfriend--the only thing about their relationship is that they have mutually agreed that they're not interested in sex with each other. I think that'd be LGBTA

Conversely: “homosexual, heteroromantic” (Ex: A gay man falls in love with his best female friend)

So in regards to your post: Yes, the couple you mention would be LGBTA, they’re bein’ gayyyyyy.

But then, I veered a little off topic in the original post as I will do here: I was mostly referring to the words themselves and how to use them.

These words weren’t made for outlier cases; from my understanding they are inclinations, as in general guidelines you follow simply by being who you are as a person.

I am inclined to fall in love with women; I’ve only ever loved women - but I’ve never had any sexual inclinations or attachments to them. So: ace homorom.

So when you say you’re hetsexual, as a general inclination, you’re going to be romantically inclined to be hetrom as well*. You’re sexual experiences will generally lead you to someone you are compatible with as a person. Saying you’re hetsexual and homorom does not work: You’re not generally homorom - it would be outside of the norm for you.

*The only time this is not true would be hetsexual, aromantic and etc.

And, like, once we get down from general inclinations then preferences then specific persons.

In any case! Romantic inclinations were terms made by ace people, within the ace community, for ace people. So my original point still stands: Could allos stop using those terms?? Please? Let us have this?
