I’m a thousand years late to the LCDrarry party as usual, but I’ve had some time to check it out over the weekend and thought I’d do a rec list anyway. Here are my favourites among fic and art works, definitely recommend checking the whole collection here. I hope you enjoy these as much as I did!

Draco Malfoy is forced to endure a Saturday detention with four other students, including the Golden Bad Boy himself, Harry Potter. Over the course of the day, and under the watchful eye of Filch, the seemingly disparate group form a budding alliance and discovers that they have a great deal more in common than they thought. And Draco discovers that sometimes, he can not only get what he needs, but he just might also get what he wants.

To everyone’s surprise, Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy have become maybe-possibly-sort-of friends. When Harry moves into the building next to Draco's, they become neighbors, too. Actually, Harry can see directly into Draco's flat from his window. And as it turns out, Draco gets up to some interesting things at night.

A new year brings a new edition of LCDrarry! Join our Film-, Theatre- and TV-inspired Drarry fest as prompter and/or author, artist, vidder, roleplayer or podficcer.

Fest Schedule

Prompting and claiming: 1 January 2020 to 1 April 2020.

Submissions due: 15 April 2020.

Posting begins: 1 May 2020.

Reveals: 15 June 2020.

What can be prompted?

This year, all films, theatre plays, TV series and shows are acceptable prompts for LCDrarry. No exceptions! This includes even Disney movies, musicals, operas ... Cursed Child and Harry Potter movies ;) And this year for the first time, we also accept podcasts, audioplays/dramas and audiobooks as prompts.

What can be created?

We accept a very wide range of submissions: stories, art (traditional art, digital art, comics, animatics, crafting, vidding, roleplay...) and podfics.

How does it work?

Participants create a Drarry-centric piece that is inspired by or based on a film, a theatre play or a TV series/show. It can be a remix of the whole work, follow the storyline very loosly, just borrow the universe or characters to play, or recreate a certain scene that you always loved, but with Harry and Draco as main characters.
