What some cats do you think have specific characteristics that go down their line? Like Running’s stripe or the Tawnyspots mullet. I feel like Firestar having a trait of his own that’s seen in a lot of his descendants is really fun

I try to play loose with the Family Traits (except the Tawnyrain Mane which so far is absolutely constant), but so far for family traits I have this mental list;

(Also it's worth noting i don't take realism into account AT ALL and I do not understand how genetics work and I will not learn <3 like water off a smoooooth shark)

Bluestar Family: Wolf Motif. Tails are dog shaped and they often have "capes". Dovewing is actually VERY Bluesy if you look at her closely

Lizardstripe Family: Minor cleft lip. Just enough that the front teeth are slightly exposed. So far it's only on Lizzy herself and Deerfoot but it will be popping up in Tangleburr's child, probably Talonclaw, the apprentice who canon killed to the Vicious Kittypets but in this rewrite survives.

Raggedstar Family: Glasses. I haven't drawn blinded Brokenstar yet but his glasses actually become shattered. Since this family became completely mixed with Newtspeck through Brokenstar, they also have Bicolored Manes with a stripe pattern.

i went and visited my grandmother for a bit today.. also sat on these steps for awhile which led into this bay area, picked some cool rocks and a cool little shell! also got to see a few minnows and some ghost shrimp.. maybe not ghost shrimp specifically but definitely shrimp. i dipped my feet in the water for awhile and some of them picked at my dead skin.. it was interesting to see how they lived and swam about.. i love nature!!!

also was scared shitless half the time because of an unknown buzzing insect about which i didnt not see once but did hear many times… i did not get bit i dont think but who knows. either way it was interesting to interact with nature along with very peaceful..

Especially with how many masks he owned.

When they walk away and are out of sight and earshot Zelda just raises her eyebrow with a smile and he is like '...I can explain...it made sense at the time'
