The girls are growing!! My babies have little buds and sprouts and I could cry, I'm so excited! They're doing so well, my heart is overflowing 💞 It took Medusa no time to start sprouting. Long post coming: Let's talk about my baby Medusa 😩 When I first got her, I read that you don't have to water snake plants often and they, I quote, "thrive on neglect". Well! I should have figured out that since I have to damn near drown the rest of my succulents that she would have been the same. Shortly after I got her, she started to close up and wrinkle and I looked into it and the reason seemed to be under watering. I think I may have packed her soil in too tight or something, but the water wasn't reaching her roots at all. I had to figure it out over a few days, but even simple holes weren't enough. I had to readjust her and create a lot of space for water to get through. In the process, her roots got exposed and I got some holes to stay, but she seems to be happy this way (exposure and all) since she opened back up and smoothed out. She's 96% back to when I first got her. When I first bought Sunday, I moved a couple of her chicks into some new pots with proper soil, and now they require a lot of water. But I left Sunday in her original walmart soil and watered her just as much. Somewhere between the not great soil and too much water, Sunday got fungus gnats, so I had to clean her roots off completely, repot her with the right soil, and give her some time to dry out. In the repotting process, I took some more chicks out. Welcome to Ophelia! Gardening be staying in my damn nerves. I have a hen and chick succulent (basically it grows a crap ton of little plants that you can replant). So I moved quite a number of chicks out close to when I first got it. All the chicks need like insane watering to actually grow, but now all of a sudden I have fungus gnats on my hen 🙃 bitch you the same plant????? Technically fungus gnats can almost come from having the wrong soil so luckily I was planning to repot my hen anyway, but hopefully I can clear up these little pests. Also, where do they come from? Is this how the big bang happened? They just start from a bacteria or something and grow into a full ass animal??? Where are they coming from!!!!

I've been watering my babies every day and it's been significantly better for them. Temperance has opened up a lot, even between today and yesterday. I'm so happy that everyone has perked up and is doing better.
