What if everything is the same but creator mc reincarnate as melusine, but as a new sub species like a lizard or something aquatic liked a ocolot
And they are still have domain of the water but more safer in a fresh water spring
i will assume you mean axolotl because i'm pretty sure ocelots aren't aquatic (they're so cute though,,,, spotted string bean cats)
you're a little like the Melusine, a little like the Vishaps- a combination of lizard, dragon-ish traits and bloopy squishiness, and most comfortable deep underwater, fresh, not salt. it's safe and quiet down at the bottom of your little lake, the first place you took refuge in after you woke up again. no one comes to bother you- they're all too frightened of the monsters that prowl the area, the hilichurls and odd, alien breacher primuses. occasionally you'll see the Melusine skipping around and poke your head out to say hello. they give you flowers and shells, and you give them strange, glowing coral that only seems to flourish in freshwater under your care. the only one apart from the Melusine who dares to find you is Foul Legacy, entirely following the instincts that draw him towards an unassuming spring nestled in the middle of Elynas
Legacy delicate sniffs the surface of the water, leaping back in surprise when you stick the tip of your nose out, a pair of feelers waving on your head. carefully he leans in, crystalline eye tracing over the faint, shimmering scars on your body, and suddenly his glittering wings begin to flutter in awe
you rarely discuss the fact that you're the Creator- you know, he knows, and you've been hurt and killed because of it. both of you have been mere things, to be hunted or used as a weapon, so together you reconcile simply existing as yourselves. Foul Legacy can hold his breath for hours at a time, and he loves curling around you at the very bottom of the pond for a short nap. you gather the pearls and shells from the Melusine and a few pieces of your favorite coral, decorating Legacy's hair and fluff with the little treasures as he sits still as a statue, aside from the slight hum of his purr. in exchange he uses his Vision to push and pull at the water, forming shapes and little waves for you to happily swim around in
you and Foul Legacy, alone, quiet, and happy

Golden Sync – Training the Trio 🏐🖤💛
....
The door slid open.
Both boys froze as Master Xavier, aka PDU-039, stepped in— body wrapped in gleaming black compression latex gold seams tracing his chiseled form like circuitry. The air thickened.
“You two,” Xavier’s voice purred—calm, dark, dominant. “You’re both serving me perfectly. And this little argument?” He glanced down, eyes glowing with intent. “It’s hot.”
Izzy @isaac-gold-45 bit his lip. Isidor grinned, cheeks flushed with pride. But before anyone could pounce, the tone shifted.
“Isidor,” the drone continued, stepping forward, “you pulled excellent analytics from the Hive network using PDU-999 protocols. The Orange Ocelots favor sharp crosscourt spikes and compressed defensive boxes. We’ll dismantle it.”
He tapped his visor—schematics lit up. “Triangle formation updated. Izzy—you’ll drill serve sync and deep backline coverage. With me.”
2 - Let’s make ‘em sweat
The court pulsed with golden light and bass. This wasn’t a gym—it was a conversion chamber. Everything shimmered. Everything demanded perfection.
Izzy stretched, his golden compression shorts hugging each perfect contour as he bounced the volleyball off his thigh with a teasing flick. “You ready, Master?” he asked, voice half-taunt, half-devotion.
The drone didn’t reply. It executed.
Gleaming in full Hive gear—black latex polo with gold-trimmed seams tight across his chest, rubberized knee guards gleaming— PDU-039 processed Isidor’s latest update.
“Trajectory data locked. Izzy—shift ten degrees deeper. Leap intensity: plus 12%. Begin synchronized serve-receive drill.”
“On it,” Izzy whispered, already moving.
On the sideline, Isidor observed, seated cross-legged, tablet glowing. “Ocelot defense forms tight diamonds. Break with Line B flood—Izzy rotates mid-flank.”
“Acknowledged” PDU-039 responded.
Tumblr media
The whistle blew.
Izzy launched.
PDU-039 slid into stance, feet planted with machine precision.
The volley smacked sharp into the air—Xavier’s set was low, fast, and lethal. Izzy twisted mid-air, slammed it home.
Boom.
Isidor didn’t flinch. Just tapped notes. “Five percent late. Reset.”
Again.
Again.
Again.
Sweat gleamed. Muscles locked. Latex clung.
Tumblr media
The court became a circuit board. Xavier the conductor. Izzy the spark. Isidor the algorithm.
“You feel that?” Izzy panted between sets, flushed, wild-eyed.
PDU-039 stepped close, fingers brushing Izzy’s side. “I feel unity. You’re becoming what I require.”
Izzy exhaled, trembling.
Whistle.
Drill.
This wasn’t training.
It was programming.

do you think similar to rdr, darling presentation/gender identity would affect any of mgs yanderes considering the various time periods the games span across? Would affect the way they express their obsession and interact with their darling?
Oh, yes. Going into all the nuances would be complicated, so I'll give you the context you'll need to grasp why they would be/act this way.
( Context ) In the American military, queer people weren't allowed to serve until 1993 under a law referred to as the "Don't ask, don't tell" law. As long as they didn't reveal their queerness, they could serve. It wasn't until 2010 that the ban on queer people from the military was seen as unconstitutional and therefore repealed. In Russia queer people are allowed to serve in the military, but there is a lot of systematic hatred and bias against them. There are currently no laws protecting queer people and trans people are pretty much just not allowed to exist. " The revised criminal code of 1961 continued to classify sexual relations between men as a crime, relocating it to Article 121 and providing for only a maximum of five years' imprisonment for consensual sex, " (Wikipedia). In 1993, same-sex relations between men were decriminalized.
‎𖤐 most affected by a queer darling in a queerphobic world―
Adam (Revolver Ocelot) & The Boss are the two that immediately come to mind
Apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, eh?
The Boss is all about loyalty. The one thing she knows best is war. So when she falls in love with a queer darling, possibly realizing that she herself is not completely cishet, it fundamentally shifts her worldview. All of her core values are now in opposition to the one person she may love more than her ideals.
It brings up too many questions for her.
She can't be caught loving you. Or can she? Does she tell you to hide your queerness for her country's comfort? Does she embrace you and become a hypocrite? A traitor?
But you're her joy.
Ocelot is incredibly queer coded, but due to the nature of his upbringing that was definitely not something he could explore or show. (Man gets cuntier with age. Let's be so fr with ourselves). So to have a darling that is similar to him―it changes how he perceives himself.
It makes him think that he's more than just disgusting. That he wasn't born wrong. That this is okay. It also enables his yandere tendencies because he makes a large logical leap of, queerness = okay, which means ignoring boundaries and becoming obsessive = okay.
It means he'll be much more protective of his darling. He wants to be strong enough so that his darling doesn't have to hide who they are.

What the heck..? *Places down a new bed and gently tosses you onto it*
> [ The new bed was noticeably larger than before, though it still had the familiar purple blanket draped over it. ]
> [ As Lukas was gently tossed onto the bed, he didn’t stir—remaining in the exact position he’d been in before. Beside him, the ocelot and black cat plushies rested on the covers. ]
> [ Dewey, noticing the change, stretched before hopping off the couch. With a quick leap, he landed on the new bed, settling in. Winslow and the other calico cat, however, remained on the couch, seemingly unbothered by the upgrade. ]
> [ As Lukas shifted onto his back, Dewey flinched for a moment, startled, but soon relaxed. With a soft sigh, he curled up beside Lukas and drifted off to sleep. ]

After getting The Ocelots on her side, Petra is able to proceed to "Jesse's" office
"Well, I wasn't expecting you..." Romeo says in his disguise, slowly lowering into his chair
Petra is about to step forward, he's right there, she could end all this now, she could free Jesse in this moment, but she stops, memories flash, of her attempt to attack Romeo, and Xara trying the exact same thing.
She has to be smart about this.
"I don't know if you're confused, but this is my office"
"What's the move here, Petra?" Lukas whispers to the warrior. In response, Petra allows herself to consider the options. So far, there are three ways she can approach this.
Option #1: Attack Romeo with reckless disregard for her own safety and possibly dying or being fully corrupted as a result
Not a good option at all, it will likely put everyone else in danger.
Option #2: Get The Ocelots to attack instead.
It's a tempting choice, all she has to do is point her sword at Romeo, and The Ocelots would take that as their signal, but this option is probably worse. Every time someone attacked The Admin directly, something bad would immediately happen afterwards. Good results are extremely unlikely
Option #3: Try to talk to Romeo
As much as she hates it, she sees herself as another Romeo, perhaps she crossed that line the moment she began lying to Jesse.
Romeo may have done terrible things, worse than she ever imagined, but maybe if he went through the same thing, she could talk to him.
"I'll try to talk to him..." Petra sighs steps forward, like it or not, option 3 is the safest route.
"Admin, it's all over. I'm back and we're here to-"
"Sorry, excuse me-" Romeo's eyes glowed, his admin form seeping through the cracks of his disguise "we?"
Petra turned around, part of her expected to see the rest of her troops, all she saw were their weapons as they clattered to the floor in a short symphony
"where did they go" Petra asked, ignoring the bolts of electricity that playfully zapped at her nerves, glaring up at the Admin. He simply didn't respond, instead, slamming his fists on the table.
"Oh I am so upset that you survived! Your betrayal made me feel bad! But now I feel... ugh... Worse... and that's your fault!"
"I am not going down that easily"
"Oh you smug, insignificant-" The admin took a breath, and rose from his seat, levitating in the air. "What, Pray tell, to you think you can accomplish by challenging me? I don't know if you noticed but I am a touch more powerful than you."
"that's why I don't want to fight you." A blanant lie. Every instinct in Petra's head demanded an attack. Oh how she desperately wanted to drive her sword into his chest. But she had to push that thought away. "I want to talk things over, one on one."
"Talking it out? That's what losers do! Real people, awesome people settle their differences with dueling, combat and build offs!"
"Because I think... There's still good in you..." The words sounded as forced as it felt, grinding through her vocal cords and teeth like sandpaper as Petra felt herself cringe at such an idea.
Romeo squinted, beyond that, his expression unreadable. Or maybe it was suspicion, it was hard to tell right now.
Lowering himself to the ground floor, Romeo stood, and embers sparked like fleas leaping from Petra's armor. Her own fists tightened, the temptation to grab her sword insatiable, she expected Romeo to attack, to do something. And he did do something, but it wasn't an attack. Petra blinked and Romeo was no longer wearing her friend's face.
"It's just as well that you survived..." There was defeat in his tone, a new side to him. Maybe there was some good after all?
"Because being Jesse is the worst!"

Chapter 33
The dizziness that greets him as he awakens is almost disorienting enough to knock Lukas out all over again…
“Ohhh man …” He groans. The world is so bright and blurry, and his head feels like it’s spinning. His body feels heavy, like he’s stuck beneath an anvil. He tries to move his head, finding even that to be difficult too. For the time being, he allows his body to rest back, focusing on the things he already feels in his current surroundings.
He… can feel a slight breeze and hear the tweeting of birds. There’s something plush beneath his head. The texture is kind of squishy, yet incredibly soft too, very comfortable. He recognizes the feeling, knowing it’s something he’s laid against many times before. Lukas groans again as he attempts to move once more, this time really tapping into what little strength he has so he can rise up from the cozy bed he lay upon. He keeps himself elevated on one elbow whilst he lifts his hand and holds his head as a nasty headache comes creeping in. He looks up, only to see the trees above him spinning rapidly in a swirling blur.
     What happened?
Lukas rubs his eyes and blinks until the blurriness dies down, then takes in his surroundings. He’s outside, underneath the trees in the forest. He looks down, noticing now that the plush bed he lay upon is simply a thick garden of moss just beneath a massive oak tree. He looks around slowly and spots flowers all around him. Lukas is sluggish with his movements, but he reaches out to gently embrace a little blue flower with his palm. They’re… everywhere. Lukas sighs and drops his hand to the side, continuing to look around.
     Where is Jesse?
Lukas stiffens, straightening up with realization. Where’s Dewey? A dull ache suddenly runs up through his side, startling the author. He glances down, only to feel his stomach flip at the sight of his own bare chest and belly. Where’s my shirt?! And my coat?
Those questions fall flat the moment he sees why it is that he’s missing his clothes.
There’s a gnarly scar on the side of his torso, pink and puffy with how deep it ran. Lukas silently stares at the scar, his mouth falling open in disbelief for what it is he is looking at. And he thought the scar on his chin was bad… This certainly takes the cake, now doesn’t it? Slowly he lifts his hand and glides his fingers over the mark, surprised by how… little pain he feels. If not any at all.
This must be Jesse’s work in some way, he realizes.
Suddenly the bushes nearby shudder and Lukas lifts his head. Out walks someone that nearly brings tears to his eyes the moment he lays eyes on him.
“Dewey!” Lukas beams with joy at the sight of his ocelot. Dewey freezes, dropping the freshkill he’d been carrying in his mouth. Not a second more is wasted, the two come together in an embrace that causes relieved tears to shed from Lukas’ eyes. Dewey’s entire body rumbles with how hard he’s begun to purr, pressing himself into the hug his owner gives him.
“I’m so glad you’re okay..” Lukas whispers, then presses a loving kiss atop the ocelot’s head. Dewey outstretches his paws and kneads the moss while he purrs so happily, clearly very excited to see his owner awake. Their reunited embrace lasts a few moments longer, with Lukas leaning back and giving his friend’s little messy head tuft a playful ruffle. “I knew you could hold down the fort while I was gone. Good job, buddy.”
Dewey leaps up and off of Lukas, bounding his way back over to the meal he dropped. He gathers up the morsel and turns, trotting up to Lukas with his tail held proudly high. He drops what Lukas now sees is a vole, the poor thing didn’t last a chance against Dewey’s sharp claws and teeth. Dewey purrs, giving the vole’s body a nudge with his paw, offering it to his owner.
“Dewey, I love you, but I am not eating that.” Lukas snickers, albeit a little grossed out. Dewey rolls his emerald eyes and picks the vole back up. Lukas watches as his jungle cat makes his way over to a patch of dirt and begins digging a shallow hole.
“Say… You wouldn’t happen to know where Jesse is… would you?” Lukas asks Dewey. The area they’re in seems somewhat familiar. Lukas is pretty sure it’s not that far from the cabin, that, and he can hear the creek somewhere nearby. That small meadow where their cabin lays is surrounded by towering trees has a creek snaking right through it, nearly invisible because of all the tall green grass that grows alongside it. The place Lukas lays within now has similar aspects, what with all this plush moss and dense foliage, he has to wonder how close they may be.
Dewey sticks the vole into the shallow grave and buries it for later consumption. He then turns, walks a new direction and looks back with the tip of his tail flickering, keeping one paw held up in wait. Lukas knows this body language to be that Dewey wants him to follow. It’s just a matter of… getting up that he has to hope he can actually manage to get to that point.
Whatever magic Jesse used on him never ceases to amaze him. One of the last things Lukas remembers before passing out was looking down to see just how deep his wound was. It’s… a miracle he didn’t lose all of his hearts right then and there, he knows this, and now that the fight is over, he’s currently living through the terrifying thoughts of… what if he did? He thinks of that as he hauls himself up off the mossy forest floor, stumbling to get stable grounding.
If he hadn’t succeeded on his mission… If Petra… killed him right then and there, then BeaconTown would never see a happy ending, and his relationship with Jesse would have shattered. Their future together, dust scattered in the wind. Jesse… What would Jesse even become...
     “Mrrrow?”
Lukas blinks out of the horrifying images flooding his mind. He glances down, realizing he had begun dissociating rapidly. Dewey paws gently at his pant leg, then moves to press his long spotted side up against his legs, purring his own reassurance. Lukas is here. He’s okay. All those hypotheticals are just that; hypotheticals. He made it, and he’s alive.
Lukas sucks in a deeeep breath and sighs even harder.
“What a day…” He says, then looks down to his watch. To his absolute shock, it’s late afternoon! “Holy crap, how long was I out for?” This is awful… He’s slept the entire day away, and Petra is planning to arrive this evening. This only gives him a few short hours of time before he has to part ways with the forest once again…
His attention veers away from his watch, gazing back down at his fresh scar. He frowns at the sight of the wound. In a flash, the vivid and all too cruel memory of Petra leaping forward stuns him. The feeling of the sword shredding his skin apart. …The blood. Lukas scrunches his eyes shut, placing both hands on the sides of his head whilst he shakes off the memory. “It’s over. It’s done with.” He reminds himself. “Thinking about it won’t change it, I have to focus on what’s next.”
Dewey looks up at him with worrisome eyes. Lukas sighs, looking down at his friend for a second and then reaches down to pat his head. “I’m okay, Dew…” The jungle cat flattens his ears and gives his tail a single thrash, unconvinced by Lukas’ tone alone. “Take me to Jesse?” Dewey spends the next few seconds looking Lukas over, then turns his head towards a spot beside where Lukas stands. The blond follows his gaze and is pleased to find his explorer gear folded neatly in the moss beside where he’d been laying his head, and next to it, a bundle of something that's currently making his mouth water as he picks it up for inspection.
“Oh wow, I didn't realize how bad I was starving!" Lukas plucks a crumb of the left over cobbler and looks it over before tossing it in his mouth. The taste alone only makes his stomach growl for more, so he quickly scarfs down the entire baggie before diving into his inventory to feast on some of the trail mix too to top it off. Once satisfied, he turns to his clothes. "Guess I should change first huh?” Lukas reaches down and grabs up the garment, silently thanking Jesse for being so thoughtful and leaving it beside him. “Just a second, Dewey.”
Once he’s made it past the foliage, he freezes.
Following his spotted companion, Lukas has to wonder why it is he’s out here in the forest and not back at the cabin. He lifts his arms up to his shoulders as he passes through the bushes on the narrow trail Dewey leads him down, feeling no sort of harsh pains in his side, even as branches drag against his side, or whip him as they swing back into place. Wherever this place is that Jesse placed him, it's heavily protected by the forest undergrowth alone. The air is crisp and clean, and feels absolutely amazing to breathe in. Perhaps being laid out for natures grace was the purpose, because Lukas is feeling much better about waking up under the trees than alone in the cabin. Finally, the bushes part ways into another open area Lukas can see just ahead.
Pausing at the exit of the bushes, Lukas looks over a shallow incline. Radiant green grass flows with the gentle breeze and leaf litter gets scooped up, rustling past Lukas to say a quick hello before landing somewhere off in the far distance. The afternoon sun casts a glimmering sparkle over the creek, catching his attention first, then drawing his teal eyes to the silhouette of the man he’s searching for.
The admin sits on a fallen tree, its bark covered in drooping moss, licorice ferns, and mushrooms alike. Despite its death long ago, the tree still provides new life to the forest around it. Another massive oak towers over and protects it's deceased friend, with the rest of the area being lined with more foliage or gaps to enter the forest through.
Dewey watches Lukas begin walking towards him, only to stop and look back at his ocelot companion with a nervous frown. Dewey’s eyes narrow and he points his little nose towards the man waiting nearby. Lukas sucks in a deep breath and nods. With every step towards Jesse, Lukas can feel his own body begin to warm, and that all too familiar feeling of fluffiness overcomes him. He stops just two blocks behind the fallen tree. His voice calls his name softly. “Jesse?”
At the call of his name, Jesse's head raises and he looks back to the man he’s grown to care for. Dewey looks proud of himself, Jesse can only nod to them both. His distressed expression softens slowly into relief as Lukas walks over to him. As slow as he is, Jesse is relieved to see him up so soon.
He glances down to the way Lukas eases his way over. Jesse sets his little project aside and offers his hands to Lukas, surprising the shorter blond by standing up in front of him. With slow, purposeful movements Jesse brings Lukas’ hands together and he leans down, kissing at his knuckles, then fingers. He then puts those pale hands upon his leather chest plate and gathers Lukas’ frame into a warm hug.
Jesse's frown deepens, plagued with the thoughts that this would have easily gone the other way if he himself didn't embrace his powers quick enough. He tucks his stubby nose into Lukas’ shoulder and breathes deeply.
“Jesse..?” Lukas' voice is somber, exhausted yet still trying to comfort his big blue. “Hey, Big Guy... I'm okay– I’m okay...” A soft sigh leaves him as he feels Jesse's grip only tighten. So he presses his cheek against Jesse's chest and relaxes into the comforting feeling of being held. “Every piece of me is standing here with you... I’m okay.”
Jesse cannot bring himself to let go just yet. They both are in dire need of a hug, and perhaps a bit more too. Only when Berry inevitably floats over and chirps for attention does the admin relent. Berry slides in between them and nuzzles Lukas’ cheek, so happy to see him! Jesse huffs, still looking a bit upset but he lets go and steps to the side, gesturing for Lukas to sit down on the log beside him.
“Hah– Hi Berry. I missed you too...” Lukas gives the delicate little creature a few pets before Berry takes off flying again, pursuing its usual place beside the deity.
“What're you working on?” Lukas turns and sits down upon the log, holding his side as he carefully moves to lean over to look. Jesse grasps the fabric, alongside the thread and needle he works with. It’s familiar, and surprising. Lukas’ heart skips at the sight of his own torn shirt, then realizes that next to Jesse is his jacket too. “You're fixing them? I’m…” Lukas doesn't know what to say, feeling sheepish at the idea of Jesse seeing him so... defeated yet again. His voice remains soft, a small smile on his face. “Thank you, Jesse… I really don't know what I’d do without you. I didn't know you could sew, that's pretty cool.” Jesse shrugs lightly, continuing his work with ease.
“Are you... going to talk to me?” Lukas asks, hopeful yet ready to be disappointed with the answer.
Jesse only nods, looking at Lukas before dropping his journal into the blond’s lap straight out of his own inventory. He then nods, giving him permission. Lukas eagerly opens up to a blank page, words appearing so soon after it's opened up.
‘How are you feeling? I cannot help but worry. I’m sorry I couldn't help you sooner. My powers are not all that they could be. So much is still so new to me.’
     “Jesse…”
‘You wouldn't have gotten hurt, I would've been able to heal you sooner too. You're alive, but your scar... I should have been prepared for her anger. I'm sorry… But I am... proud of you for holding your own against her for as long as you did. You've grown a lot. I am happy. I am thankful for that.’
“Jesse– don't…” Lukas deflates and leans his head against Jesse's bicep. He tries to smile, but he's overcome with the memories of the fight. The violence, the bloodthirsty look on Petra’s face. “Ah man… I am not cut out for hero work, you heroes are insane.” Lukas huffs and Jesse does too, except he smiles some which sparks a bit of indignation in Lukas. “What! Am I wrong?” Jesse shakes his head.
‘You're a hero to me. I appreciate what you've done… But she hurt you. I couldn't see you. She hurt you. Badly. I should've been there, if you hadn't survived…’
Jesse draws in a deep, uncomfortable breath. His nostrils flaring with rage as he frowns, utterly disgusted and horrified at the idea. He looks back to the torn shirt, forcing himself to keep working at it. He keeps shaking his head though, falling quiet as his mind runs wild with images that make his irises burn brighter.
He knows deep down what would've happened. Who he would've become. He believes Lukas may know as well.
Lukas sighs softly, reminded of how quickly his mind began to wander with those very same ideas only a few minutes after he’d awoken. The author stays silent for a few moments, taking in his friend’s words for what they are. Just words… Those scary hypotheticals that can flood one's vulnerable mind, depicting harrowing travesties that can bring anxiety even to the hearts of those most powerful. Lukas closes his eyes and keeps his head laid against the hero’s bicep.
He listens to the creek flow in front of them, and the birds twittering up in the trees. He focuses on the feeling of Jesse’s arm moving while he works on sewing up his shirt. All these simple things become so much more when your life is put on the line. Lukas finds appreciation in everything there is to this very moment. Even to the little bug that landed on his hand residing in his lap, only to lift off and fly away elsewhere.
He has never been more thankful to be alive more than he is right now.
“Life is something truly incredible.” Lukas starts up, gently easing his left arm around Jesse’s. He holds him and nuzzles into him the way a lover would as he speaks quietly. “All of those thoughts are scary, I know, but we’re here together. Giving you your life back is the most important thing there is to me right now, and I think if I was destined to fail, I would have by now.” Lukas sits up a little to look at his gloomy blue companion.
His diamond teal eyes shine underneath the sun filtering through the rustling branches of the oak tree above them. He looks at Jesse, the most beautiful person he’s ever known, with a rising warmth in his cheeks, and a desperate urge that he just can’t avoid any longer. “Maybe the universe wants us to succeed. Maybe…” Lukas raises his free hand and turns a bit so he can gently caress the admin’s freckled cheek and direct his attention back to him. “That’s why it had me find you.”
Jesse's luminescent gaze bathes Lukas’ pale skin in soft blue light. There's no greater, yet fearful feeling than his heart racing as he embraces Lukas once more.
To have his life won for him by the precious author, his mission is to help the world. Jesse is honored, and oh so terrified to hear about Lukas’ new perspective.
     The Universe…
Jesse is pleasantly surprised by the smooth, plush feel of Lukas’ soft lips pressing delicately against his own. His exhaled breath shudders as he reaches up and caresses Lukas' cheek, rubbing his scarred chin with his big blue thumb. His dark lashes flutter shut and he tilts his head to welcome his hero in. To welcome a kiss that sparks passion deep within him and dispels many years of loneliness.
The water of the creek sparkles beautifully behind the couple as they come together. Dewey sits a few blocks behind the log, watching the two up until this moment. Beneath his paw a flower pops up, startling the ocelot into stepping back. His ears flatten and with the knowledge that he probably shouldn’t be here, he turns and stalks away into the woods. Berry turns its head at the sight of movement and rises off of the admin’s mossy shoulder to follow that spotted tail as it disappears into the underbrush.
When the two part, Lukas is… Creators, he feels as though he is floating up into the clouds. He’s at a loss of words, oxygen too. He feels so choked up by emotion, the most he can do is nuzzle into the deity’s strong sturdy chest and find his closest hand to intertwine his fingers with.
To think that this is his life now…
The page flips, and new words arise from the blank sheets.
‘Please. If you are ever attacked again, remember that coming back to me is what's most important. Failure is not forever, but dying, being killed... Is. You’re not as experienced in heroism, and foes are merciless. They will kill you, any person with a sword and a bad attitude... Assume the worst in others, it will keep you safe.’
“I promise.” Lukas says. The fluttery feeling inside him grows only stronger as the deity wraps his arm around him and holds him close. The journal stays on Lukas’ lap, although no longer is the attention focused on the pages. Instead, both men gaze down at their joined hands, both thinking the same thing. Jesse lets go of Lukas’ hand and instead opens his palm up, tempting the author to do the same. They bring their palms together, gazing silently at their significant size and color differences.
“Jesse…” Lukas whispers his name as he glides his hand up to rest the tips of his smaller finger pads against Jesse’s own. “I was wondering… If you’d–” The author chokes on his own nervousness, nibbling on his bottom lip as he then closes his eyes and presses his cheek back into the admin’s chest. “I was wondering, if we could be boyfriends?” He finally asks, only to feel his face burn up and he quickly keeps going. “I-I know that’s a big ask and romantic relationships are very sacred, but it’s just that I really, really, really like you and I feel like you’re the person I’ve been needing my entire life and I really can’t imagine wanting to be with anyone else and maybe this is the universe telling us we’re destined to be together.”
Thankfully he doesn’t have to wait for an answer. Jesse pulls away, making Lukas sit up too and turn to him, only to be surprised with a kiss to his blushing cheek. Those scarred blue lips smoosh his cheek, getting a sweet little laugh out of the blond. He quickly reciprocates the affection, finding it to be utterly addicting.
These kisses… These touches. Lukas grabs at the deity’s scarred cheeks and urgently closes the distance with a desperate kiss that pleads for more of that wonderful feeling.
This… is the most amazing feeling in the world. To hold and to be held. To kiss, and to be kissed back. These are some of the rarest feelings to come out of this world, with only the luckiest of people finding their special somebody. Lukas feels as though he is one with the Aether.
Their lips move against each other as time begins to fade. Lukas’ left hand keeps him propped up on the log as the other reaches forward and gently lays out over the top of the admin’s large thigh. Lukas feels Jesse’s lips part, breathing softly against his own before coming back together. The deity’s arm holding Lukas descends down his back, rubbing him up and down. He feels the human’s warmth radiating beneath his gloved palm, how Lukas’ hand on his thigh twitches and grasps him just a bit tighter as his own hand gently smooths down his side.
Their excessive kissing audibly parts as Lukas pulls back. His parted lips glisten with just the smallest sharing of Jesse’s saliva, panting softly as he looks down to where Jesse’s hand lingers.
“Y–you healed me up… didn’t you?” Lukas asks with a shaky voice, then glances up to his boyfriend with an adorably pink blush surrounding every inch of his face. His blond tuft of hair lays atop his forehead, messy and unkempt. Their closeness only messed it up more. Jesse nods, his own expression flat but his eyes half-lidded, gazing down at those sweet petal pink lips. Lukas’ smile softens, although it holds a sadness for the damage caused. “I hope… that the scar doesn’t affect the way you view my…” The author frowns, not knowing how to really finish that sentence without embarrassing himself.
Jesse moves attentively, and Lukas himself is frozen in place as the hand on his side presses snug against the clothed scar, whilst kisses one after another are placed against his cheek, down his, to his current realization, very sensitive neck. The hairs on his body stand on end and a chill most delightful tingles down his back. Lukas’ posture straightens and his heart races, his mouth gone dry.
Once Jesse pulls away and Lukas looks up at him, adoring the deep purple blush that spreads across his dark blue cheeks. And that sweet, innocent smile. Lukas swallows the block in his throat, feeling all sorts of warm, tingly, and suddenly very nervous...
“You…” He swallows again and sighs dreamily. “Have such a way with words.”
Jesse’s smile softens and he tilts his head, continuing to gaze at Lukas as he puts words into the journal.
‘No amount of magic can heal the scars made out to be. Wounds will heal, but your scars last forever. They are small fragments left behind by life to remind you of who you are and how far you have come. I used to despise mine, but you… changed my perspective to view them as such. Beautiful, even.’
Lukas looks back up at Jesse, so shocked and relieved to hear this from him. “I… am so proud of you, Jesse. I will continue to remind myself that while I carry these new scars.” He then looks down at his watch to check the time. The sun will be setting very soon… Lukas frowns deeply at this, turning all these new positive feelings negative.
When Lukas looks back at him, he’s shocked to see just how furious his friend looks. Lukas blinks, his lips parting and all those fuzzy feelings drifting away like the fallen leaves in the creeks gentle stream. “J-Jesse… What’s wrong?” The admin suddenly stands up, instability wavering in his mind causes a shockwave of harsh wind to buffet the trees and foliage nearby. He turns sharply, his massive fists clenched and a distorted growl running so deep, it makes Lukas’ heart skip a beat.
“Petra will be looking for me soon.” Lukas says regretfully and looks up towards the cloudy sky. He doesn’t notice yet, but Jesse stiffens at the mention of his old friend’s name, and her alarm raising intention. “She said I will be going with her to Redstonia… I'm not exactly sure what for, but I think it has something to do with finding the people behind the development of the Command Block.” The deity’s pelt begins to bristle like sharp pine needles and his face overshadows with a dangerous darkness.
Disbelief and discomfort strikes Jesse's overshadowing heart. His playful side had shattered like ice at the mere mention that Lukas will not only be leaving him again, but going alongside the woman that almost took his life only hours ago. He’s shocked and confused, but most of all frustrated. He refuses to believe he’s scared, but he truly is. He already almost lost his sweet ocelot scout once today. Lukas cannot be serious about this.
That woman cannot be trusted now more than ever! She knows just how close she can get now! Lukas’ kind heart is his greatest strength, yet a detrimental weakness that gives foes power over him before weapons are even drawn.
“What happened? I thought you were…” Lukas trails off, his eyes wandering as the memory comes to him. The fire died down and the darkness faded. Jesse’s fiery blue soul diminished after many honest words were shared. The shards of the shattered Ms. Butter even rained down onto the floor. It’s as if Jesse had left the room entirely. “You… left?”
“You… did hear that conversation… right?” Lukas stands up with the journal in hand and takes a step closer to his partner. Jesse doesn’t turn to face him, but he does turn his head enough to give the ecologist a glimpse at how truly hurt he looks. His scarred nose crinkled and teeth bared, he squeezes his eyes shut and shakes his head, turning it downward as he does. Lukas approaches with a worrisome frown. He comes to stand beside the deity, reaching beneath his ruffled shawl to gently rub his back.
The warm hand upon his back only reminds him of what he may lose, it tugs on his willpower and makes his heart waver. He furrows his scarred brows and gives his head a small shake. Conversation? All he can recall is threatening her one last time... If only he spent his years in exile training these omnipotent powers rather than focusing solely on defense, he would have a much better grasp on what he could do.
Jesse doesn’t respond. His head stays lowered and he keeps his gaze averted from Lukas. Seconds tick by and the deity closes his eyes, sucking in a deep breath and relieving an even deeper sigh. His eyes slowly open, then flick back to Lukas before he turns his head. He didn’t want to leave, he didn’t expect any and all that had happened... especially what’s been said.
‘A new feeling overcame me. It severed my connection and…’ The words on the journal start appearing, but then Jesse hesitates. Lukas looks from the admin, down to the journal, then back up to him. To Lukas, this pause is quite intimidating. It’s not often Jesse loses his words. He almost always knows exactly what to say and how to say it. The pages glow once more and Lukas looks down to the journal, Jesse watching him closely as he reads.
‘Did you mean everything you said to Petra? About me?’
Lukas’ brows knit as he thinks back on it. Everything from last night feels so close yet so far, like his mind is jumping through hoops to try and reconnect with everything that was said and done. He gradually remembers speaking his heart out about the man standing beside him, hoping with desperation in his voice that Petra would see the Jesse he sees. He remembers telling her all the little things he loves about him, with so much more left to be confessed. That he… learned about friendship and love through Jesse.
Lukas slowly begins nodding, then looks up to Jesse again. “I meant it. With my heart on my sleeve, Jesse. Every word.”
'I felt… so small.’ Jesse bores a hopeful gleam in his eyes, it mixes with his silent fears. His confession is short, though as the words appear, he feels more vulnerable than he thought possible. He hasn’t had a weakness in so long, but now…
The author’s lips part and he takes in a silent, surprised breath. He looks back up to his hero, seeing him looking down at him with his puppy dog eyes… Lukas could melt like butter on a hot summer day standing here, he can hardly take the softness in Jesse’s adorable features when he’s like this. It… certainly makes him look smaller.
Lukas closes the journal shut and it poofs away back into Jesse’s inventory. He reaches up, gently embracing the admin’s scarred cheek with his palm. “Listen, I know the idea of going back to Petra is… really scary, but if we are to get anywhere with this, then I have to show that I trust her, and hope that she can trust me too. We’ve made it so far together already Jesse, I cannot stop here. I believe in myself. If anyone is going to do this, it must be me. We have no idea what a new Command Block is capable of doing to you.”
“I tell you what…” Lukas eases his hand down from Jesse’s cheek and takes up both of the admin’s massive mitts into his hands and holds them both tightly. “So long as I carry your lantern, we’ll stay connected, and I’m comfortable with that, so let’s enjoy the rest of our time we have together before I go. It can be a…” He blushes, swallowing down that same pesky block that keeps wedging its way into his throat. “It can be a date.” He says with a lovestruck, yet silly smile.
Jesse frowns deeply at that. He doesn’t fear the Command Block, but he knows it's capable of snuffing out innocent lives when put in the wrong hands. Jesse's reaction is mixed, but he is deeply disturbed. These powers are inalienable, the deity himself believes he could build his own Command Block. Though the mere idea sets off a deep sadness within him, loss and anger. There would be no point in proving that he is just as powerful. These powers are a blessing, in ways he can protect. Just as much as they are a curse, damning him to be a monster for the rest of eternity.
Lukas sighs, looking up to him sympathetically. Jesse’s gaze shifts to his partner, the warm hand on his cheek bringing him back from the depths of his mind. He sighs softly in response.
     A date?
Jesse looks delighted, as unsure as he felt… Lukas looks so handsome and confident. He nods with a small smile, doing his best to believe in Lukas. The blond has proven to always find a way, he won’t let his own predispositions on the world take away his confidence in Lukas before he goes to Redstonia..
Jesse startles at Lukas’ comments, only to turn away with his eyes rolling at the sound of Lukas’ laugh, as lighthearted as it may be. He’s been out here all these years, and he’s only just now remembering what it was like to be teased for his previous height! He snatches up Lukas’ coat and shirt from the log and then starts walking away with his stubby nose held up defiantly.
He leans down as Lukas raises his chin, meeting each other in the middle as their lips connect. They gently come together; Lukas’ lips are so soft and sweet while Jesse's own are plump and plush. The idea of being devoured by them sends a chill down the author's spine... Lukas loves the way the deity’s facial hair brushes upon his chin, smiling and humming into the kiss until they pull away.
“I can’t wait till I’m unable to use my fingers to count the number of times we’ve kissed..” Lukas pulls away, a sly little smirk playing across his face. “By the way… While I was sneaking around the Order Hall, I found my way up into your old office.” He watches the admin’s eyes widen with surprise, then his dark mangled eyebrows knit, wondering where on Earth this could be going. “I guess that ‘small’ confession reminded me, I saw so many pictures of you in there. You were so short, and so stinkin’ cute too! Even that big leather chair of yours was raised to accommodate that short stature you used to have.”
“Awh, come on now, I’m not teasing you! I think it’s so sweet.” Lukas dashes up to the deity’s side, giving him an affectionate elbow bump to his pudge. “Trust me, I love your big size–” Jesse’s eyes flash bright at that, keeping his tense gaze held straight forward. “But I won’t lie when I say I’ve always wondered how you’d look at your old height in person.”
Jesse is frozen in place hearing that, even as Lukas’ attention is grabbed and pulled along somewhere else. He crosses his arms and watches Lukas walk around to the opposite side of the log to inspect the area. The ecologist's eyes have landed on the plethora of little blue flowers that have begun growing all over the forest floor. These all weren’t here when he got here!
“Whoa, I could have sworn these weren't here before! They're growing everywhere!” Lukas exclaims with a growing smile. He passes by Jesse and kneels about a two block distance in front of him. These little blue star-shaped flowers have begun to bring a bit more life and color to the once gloomy woodland. Lukas caresses one with his palm, inspecting the growing bud. “The Forest’s Blessing looks so beautiful, don’t you think?”
Jesse cants his head to the side with a puzzled look. Lukas looks up to meet his eyes, only to make the deity slightly blush and shift his gaze. Lukas looks… awfully small from this angle. Even as the author comes to a stand, the admin’s cheeks stay a dusty shade of purple.
“Wait, I don’t think I ever told you.” Lukas realizes as he then quickly draws out his journal. He flips through some pages until he lands on the one he’d been working on alongside Dewey and Berry’s company back at the library, just before that big mess of a day happened. “Here,” Lukas offers his notes and sketches to Jesse, letting him see for himself Lukas’ personal studies.
“I remember feeling so mesmerized by its beauty. There’s not a single flower in the world that I’ve come across that is anything as special as this. It’s an unregistered species, with zero recorded evidence of its existence in any of the flower guides I’ve read, and trust me, I’ve read a lot. I guess I’ve been sort of meaning to ask, but are they exclusive to your forest alone? Did you cultivate these flowers with your powers?” Before Jesse even gets a chance to respond, Lukas brings out a notepad, already getting way ahead of himself with his questioning as he continues to ask, whilst flipping to a blank page.
“Do you already have a name for them? I kind of named them on my own, but I can change that! I was hoping for your opinion on the matter. Oh! And what season do they tend to grow in? They only started appearing as fall came around, so I was wondering if it might be a rare seasonal flower. Have they always grown in these woods since you started using your powers on the forest?”
One second he’s standing there with Jesse within the woods, the next he’s experiencing a flash that sends him elsewhere. Lukas is completely taken off guard. It’s been awhile since Jesse surprised him with teleportation. The place Jesse brings him to is… absolutely heavenly, and familiar.
Under the direct sun, the meadow of green grass has been sunkissed into a sea of beautiful golden strands. The faint breeze tugs at the tips of the grass stems, creating a shimmering wave as it gently sways. Lukas glances down, seeing the little bridge that he recalls as a creation of Jesse’s very own. On the other side is the next half of the meadow, split by the small creek that runs through the forest. Lukas is breathless as he gazes out at the willow tree, how it too has taken on a gorgeous golden color, it’s utterly breathtaking as the evening sun caresses its droopy branches.
Beneath the tree where the grass begins to grow shorter, Lukas sees a vibrant blue sprinkled atop the bright sunny yellow. He glances around, realizing Jesse isn’t beside him anymore. Confused, but curious, he passes over the rickety old bridge and ventures into the grass on the other side. The grass tickles his bare legs as he walks through it until he’s exiting into shorter stalks.
He sucks in a sharp breath, keeping it withheld as he looks over the land. The Forest’s Blessing have grown abundantly, and in such a beautiful place. Lukas is worried to step forward, fearing he will crush the delicate little things if he dares attempt to step closer to the willow.
Suddenly a hand settles on his shoulder, lifting Lukas’ attention to look up at the deity who looks back at him affectionately. A finger is planted on Lukas’ chest, right over his heart. He looks down to where Jesse taps him, then looks up to him again. “I… don’t understand.”
Jesse’s lip twitches upward with a smile, huffing gently with amusement. The big man shakes his head and taps a pointed finger upon Lukas’ heart. While Jesse then holds his own heart, doing something he hasn’t offered yet. His lips move, conveying silent words.
It’s strange and so lovely at the same time, the way Jesse caresses his shoulder before holding his hand. His hand is warm, so Lukas offers the deity his other hand and smiles softly as he’s whisked further into the field of gold. Somehow, he feels lighter on his feet as Jesse guides him along, only for his big blue to shrug and look away playfully.
“Jesse.. I’m serious!” Lukas beams, looking down to watch where he’s stepping. Only for his heart to flutter at the sight of flowers growing slowly but surely. Little flashes of light spark with Jesse’s every step backward, while Lukas’ own spawn behind him.. Trailing them both as they together reach the crest of the hill. It’s beautiful, magical... and... Lukas looks up to Jesse yet again, his big blue boyfriends expression soft and full of affection.
“It’s… you.” Lukas can barely contain his smile, this revelation doesn’t come as a surprise though. Everything beautiful here comes from Jesse..
No… Not me. You. Lukas reads his lips.
Jesse’s cheeks flare a soft purple and he exhales a soft sigh. He gently pulls Lukas closer, putting his arm around Lukas’ back and pressing their bodies together. Their eyes meet and the turquoise lights glow, he grins playfully, like he’s captured the best piece of prey he’s been hunting for for days on end.
“Me?” Lukas looks down to the flowers surrounding them, how they glow and continue to grow around them. He has trouble understanding Jesse’s answer, because Lukas isn’t the one here with omnipotent powers to produce such beauty. He’s only here to… to…
Lukas pauses, his blond brows furrowing as understanding clutches his heart and takes away his breath.
“It’s… It’s me. Your powers… they’re… responding to me.” Lukas’ eyes widened at the realization, his own cheeks turning a bright shade of pink as love blossoms inside him like the flowers around him. He leans back a bit to look up at Jesse, his eyes shining with emotion, and so much hope. “But why?”
“Jesse, I-” Lukas’ breath shudders as he speaks and nuzzles into Jesse’s chest. “I–” His hands clutch onto the admin’s back, holding him so tight. The author squeezes his eyes shut, pain-laced emotions causing him to frown so deeply. Lukas leans back now, looking up to his hero, feeling his heart shake the moment he sees just how much the sky has since darkened behind him. The sun is rapidly setting, and big fluffy clouds have rolled in, ruining all view of the sky and stars tonight. How… unfair.
His chin is gently grasped, lifted and his curious gaze is met with pure adoration. Jesse gently leans down and lightly presses their lips together. Slowly, and gently... They meet in the middle. Once, then twice... Share a smile, then one more kiss, just one more... Lukas huffs, tasting Jesse on his lips with a quick swipe of his tongue. They put their foreheads together and the admin growls low, very pleased with his own answer. Lukas is so giddy, he must contain himself by biting at his own bottom lip as he closes his eyes. He then embraces his admin in a warm, big ol bear hug. The top of his head is kissed! Oh how he loves this soft, tender side of the big scary admin…
He loves Jesse more than anything in the whole world.
“I was hoping this date would be perfect, but the clouds are covering our view of the stars... And time keeps passing... Petra will be here soon.” Lukas frowns, knowing it is only a matter of time before she shows her face in the forest, and Jesse detects her presence.
Petra.. That’s right. It’s unmistakable how cocky she truly is, thinking she has any reach here, or has the grounds to drag Lukas off to anywhere that isn’t a part of his plan. Jesse's heart is taken by the sweet, honest words of his newly titled boyfriend. The title in itself implies Lukas will return to be here with him, in the woods or wherever this so-called freedom will take them. Although the tamed shadow looks to the cloudy sky and silently agrees with all that the author had said.
Jesse opens his hands, the re-paired jacket and shirt appearing within his hold. He has nothing to say as he approaches Lukas again, offering up the articles of clothing. Before Lukas has a chance to put them on, magic embraces his smaller form. Within an instant, he’s startled to find himself back in his casual attire. He’s fitted in his dark brown jeans, turtleneck, and coat, all stitched up and clean. He looks up to his boyfriend, confused. “What’s all this for?”
For where they’re about to go the night brings an extra layer of chill to the air, the whispering breezes become more frequent and crisp. He’s buffeted by the wind, blowing his bouncy curls and chilling the blush off of his cheeks.
He opens up his arms and gathers Lukas against his body yet again, they share gentle smiles before the deity surprises him with a show of strength. For the admin, of course, this is easy. Lukas is much smaller, and weighs a lot less compared to the admin’s massive frame. Gathering Lukas up into his arms, holding him like a newlywed bride, Lukas is lit like redstone, confused and holding onto Jesse's bushy shawl.
“Ooh!” Lukas is trusting, yet still a bit nervous being lifted like this. “What’re we..?”
Without a second to spare, Jesse is taking steps forward, growing faster with each graceful step until he’s reached the edge of the meadow just beside the stream. He squats and jumps–! Without ever falling! “Oh my god! Ohh my god!!!” Lukas shouts, clinging onto Jesse. He suddenly feels more weightless, looking down to the ground as it gradually becomes more distant. His voice begins to shake as they simply keep soaring up higher. “Jesse this is high! Really really high!”
     No answers, of course.
Just trust me, you'll be fine.
Jesse only smiles and reaffirms his hold, gifting a kiss to his beloved's forehead. He feels dizzy by looking down for so long so he lays his head back and looks up at Jesse, and the fluffy clouds above him. “You could fly this entire time?”
Jesse looks at him with a smirk and a nod.
“Wha–! Hey! Careful!” Lukas squeaks in mild terror, but then flushes pink when he reminds himself that... Well... Jesse would never put him in harm's way. Not having a full understanding of the god’s abilities only tells him that Jesse has full confidence right now, and Lukas is safe enough to… Very carefully sit up! Sitting up on the big man's lap and looking around, being able to feel the endless abyss of a cloudless sky and to reach out and touch the stars. A slight wind graces him and makes him wobble slightly, and just like that, the author is launching back down and clinging onto his boyfriend for dear life. “This… Is going to take some getting used to.”
Lukas' fingers are curling up and gripping harder and he’s pushing himself closer to Jesse’s chest. The hold around him never wavers and holds him securely, even as Lukas tucks his face into Jesse's shoulder. The big blue admin, so confident in his abilities, takes this as a chance to rise up even faster, skyrocketing through the fluffy, wet clouds, leaving a cloud trail to follow him. Jesse shields them from the moisture in the dark blue clouds, for they promise the sharp impact of rain and cold.
He’s excited to see the open sky, he can only fly higher and faster. It takes longer than one would think, the sun has set and the night is in full swing by the time they reach the stars. It’s so cold, but it’s…
Jesse huffs for Lukas to untuck himself so he can see the worth in this journey.
The moon is full, lighting up the tops of the clouds in a bright white blanket. Just as the stars remain unchallenged by the lights life on the surface produce for safety, this sky is completely open and full of twinkling stars and what scientists believe to be distant planets. Jesse is indeed looking, but he cannot take his eyes off the true beauty of this night. The stars, how they shine for Lukas. Glittering in his eyes, gleaming with the light of the moon and fueling that wonderful smile on his face. Jesse is completely enamored by it, looking away only when Lukas looks at him.
“Jesse… This is… This has to be the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen! You can see the clouds of the galaxy from here! Did you know there’s theories of distant worlds somewhere among the stars? Worlds like ours? But still so different!” Lukas feels as though he’s witnessing something impossible, that only the luckiest dreamers could possibly achieve. Everything space has to offer is out tonight, and it’s one of these moments he knows he will not forget for the rest of his life. “Do you do this a lot?” Lukas must ask, looking almost jealous when Jesse shrugs and adjusts the way he floats. Adjusting carefully and lounging on his back.
The admin beneath him emits a deep, gravelly chuckle with just enough of the hero’s natural voice for Lukas to hear the distortion within its depths. It’s wonderful, and Lukas cherishes these rare moments. He himself emits a soft laugh as he nuzzles up underneath the admin’s scruffy chin. Jesse sits up, carefully adjusting Lukas with him to cradle him up close against his chest once more.
Lukas inevitably glances down and looks at the tops of the clouds, how fluffy they look only drives his curiosity higher. “Jesse?” He says to get the admin’s attention. “Dooo you think… I can maybe gather up a bit of the cloud? For research, of course.” Lukas asks innocently, and with a hopeful smile that he knows is going to work on the deity. Which it does. Jesse smirks and adjusts his hold on Lukas, bringing him a bit closer as he descends down towards the clouds.
Jesse’s focus is split between gazing at his treasured author and lowering onto the chosen area of the stream of clouds. Thick, fluffy and bright snow white with the full moon lighting up their time together. His mind gives way to the good mood he's in, forgetting what it is that’s waiting for them to come later in the evening. For Lukas’ laugh is too precious to ignore, and his smile can brighten up any bad day. How can he not give him what he wants?
Jesse hovers just above the fluff of the cloud, the bottom of his boots barely dipping into the soft surface. “Little closer?” Lukas sounds nervous. But when he makes eye contact with Jesse, it only worsens. “...No. Nooo. No! No I- Jesse please-” It's too late, the plan is already in motion. Much to Lukas’ dismay, Jesse begins to lower him from his secure hold.
“What’re you doing! I can't fly like you can..!” Panic strikes him and he’s suddenly taking much deeper breaths. Which makes Jesse stop, look, and very gently kiss the author's forehead. The silent plea of trust is heard, so the blond tries to calm himself down. He remains so tense until the bottom of his shoe meets what feels like solid ground. He looks down and his stomach drops, seeing only the cloud beneath his feet. The wind below makes it so much worse, for a moment seeing straight through where he stands.
His grip on Jesse remains fierce, riddled with disbelief and wavering fear. He cannot for the life of him look down. He can't speak, let alone breathe. But, Jesse is unmoving and never lets him go. He assures Lukas’ safety by nestling into his hair and hugging his arm around his thin frame.
They look at each other once more and with a nod of Jesse's head, Lukas begins to relax, although his grip remains the same. So Jesse very carefully works with this, he out stretches an arm and creates the clear image of a solid glass like flooring within the clouds surface. It’s visible for a few seconds, then completely invisible. Something which Lukas trusts, but cannot begin to embrace.
With the omnipotent power of the deity’s love, they slowly make this into a magical moment together. Lukas’ back is pressed against his boyfriends sturdy body, while his big blue hands are gently holding onto Lukas’ own as he guides the author forward. He stays shrouded over until Lukas bravely finds his footing upon the cloud. The gentle winds cover his feet in white mist as it passes through his legs.
“Are you sure this is safe?” Lukas asks, his heart pounding with unease. Yet as Jesse reassures him again, that fear is blossoming into bravery and thrill. He takes a deep breath and sighs, furrowing his brows and puts on a determined face. “Don't let go of me, okay?”
After waiting a moment for approval, Jesse nods to his partner and begins to lean away from him. No longer shielding him from the still air of the open sky, taking a half step back and very gently letting go of Lukas’ hands as he took one more step back.
I wouldn’t think of it. Jesse smiles comfortably, finding great pride in feeling Lukas’ body begin to relax as they walk upon the very surface of the cloud. It’s light and airy, much like walking through a dense fog while the padding beneath their feet is made up of cotton. Bouncy, yet sturdy. It’s such a relief when Lukas finds room to have fun again, the first laugh of many puts a huge smile on Jesse's softened, yet irreparable rugged features. His heart is beating with warmth and affection, his body feels lighter than air and for the first time in his life, he’s able to share the night sky with a person he cares deeply for. So much more than just a friend, but a life partner.
“You know… Once you get used to it, it’s not so bad!” Lukas’ voice is strained, still laced with a bit of fear. Although he’s taken his time in getting used to the weightlessness, his bravery continues to be inspiring. Jesse is so proud of him for this, it’s made him so happy.
“Yeah I think… I think... Let me try on my own. I got this.” Lukas tries to hype himself up, looking back at Jesse. The deity looking skeptical but knowing full well Lukas will be fine. He’s more unsure of where this spike in self assurance comes from. Pride or the will to impress? But who is he to deny his beloved with such a simple request? After all, it is safe.
Lukas now stands on his own, his arms up for balance. He is visibly tense, and his heart is racing faster than he has ever felt before. He breathes in that ice cold air and sighs out a cloud of breath. He looks down for a second then immediately looks back up. “No! No, can’t do that- Don’t do that yet, Lukas...” The man nervously speaks to himself, “Jesse said it’s safe. So this is safe..! It has to be I’m not.. I got this, I can do this just walk.. forward.” One loud audible gulp later, along with passing seconds Lukas doesn’t move.
Jesse huffs with his stubby nose and walks calmly around his little partner. Keeping his eyes on him as he then makes himself the end goal. He pays no mind to the shadow he casts with the moon high behind him. He looks big and imposing, but all the ocelot scout sees is the man he’s fallen head over heels for. Literally!
Lukas addresses Jesse as the goal and puffs up his chest, being drawn out of his nervous shell by his boyfriend's adorable gestures. Like a man trying to beckon his cat to come toward him, except with Lukas, there’s no sassy hesitation. He tries his best to be confident with the way he moves, except there’s something he wasn’t expecting. And that is the cloudy surface is wet and slippery! Lukas’ boot skids backward when he steps too quickly and he falls face first into the misty surface.
“How in the world do you discover the ability to do this? Have you been up here before?” He asks as he lays close, hugging onto Jesse’s arm just like he was not too long ago. Jesse shrugs and then nods, that being a good enough answer for the author. They lay their heads down upon one another, cozy and safe with only the moon and stars to keep them company.
Oh the yelp he let out had made the admin cringe and seethe before looking down at Lukas, his defeated reason to smile. Jesse trudges over and remains on standby, watching Lukas become well... More acquainted with how truly safe he is up here, and the freedoms that come along with it.
Lukas rises to his elbows, his skin shiny and his clothes darkened from how damp the cloud has made him. “It’s wet!” He announces, “And.. squishy! Hah! Wow! This is amazing!”
Jesse smirks and nods a few times, choosing to turn around and fall back into the puff. Once he’s laying back comfortably, he pats the space beside him, the puffy fog of the cloud swirls around his hand when he does. With time, Lukas manages to lay down beside the deity now, realizing how stable and endless his powers seem to be.
“Your powers are so amazing, Jesse. I really can’t wait to see what else you’re capable of.” And what a relief that is to Jesse. He’ll be sure to utilize his abilities to bring more of these unforgettable memories with Lukas.
Meanwhile, the speckling void above the two brings upon a comfortable silence.
The stars… How they remind Lukas of The Admin’s eyes that would watch him from afar. The darkness that once shrouded the forest deity kept him protected and hidden away from the author’s blossomed curiosity. The many weeks it took for Jesse to warm up to the idea of even approaching Lukas is something the author looks back on fondly, knowing now that he too was just as desperate for company as Lukas was.
We are so different, yet so similar. Lukas closes his eyes and breathes in the fresh forest scent that accompanies the deity’s body. Where he smells of the great pines that keep the forest protected, and the clean, crisp water that flows throughout the heart of the biome, Lukas knows this is what home smells like, and he knows now more than ever that his place is destined to be alongside his sweet hero. That Jesse is his home, and that… He must succeed.
The job is far from finished. For someone who wanted nothing to do with BeaconTown and the problems it suffered, they are now all that he can think of, and the hero that vanished all those years ago, just to find his way back into Lukas’ arms, safe and sound, is all that matters now. No amount of cookies, flowers, or hugs and kisses will ever be enough for Lukas to express the feelings he feels for the man he’s with now.
There is a few seconds of hesitation following the question. Lukas can see, feel, and hear the deep breath Jesse sucks in upon receiving it. Jesse sits up a bit now, his hand rising to brush that blond tuft of Lukas' back and then off to the side.
“Jesse..” Our sweet author breaks the silence, his voice as soft and gentle as the clouds they rest upon. He reaches into his own inventory and sets it on his own lap, the page is open and blank. “Do you ever… miss your old life? Would you ever go back to BeaconTown and take your old job back?”
On a bad day, Jesse would’ve turned his nose up at these questions and ignored them. Though now, he feels... Wistful and curious of his own beliefs. It’s been a very long time since he’s challenged his own predisposed ideas of never returning to his old life, never setting foot in that husk of his old town again. These ideas seem so far away now that he has confidence in Lukas in truly helping him out of this eternal hell. He doesn’t see a need to revisit his old wants, nor does he see a reason to ever return to BeaconTown… Hm.
‘Those thoughts have long gone, my old life is over. I don’t remember truly what it was like to be that person. I don’t think I could handle all the attention now. All the providing, saving, leadership and pictures.. All the noise. Ah, it was fun. Having friends. I do recall that, but eh. I’m indifferent now. I have you. Berry. Dewey. That’s more than enough. Way more.’ Jesse playfully nudges Lukas, grinning when the author returns with a soft swat at his arm.
‘As for BeaconTown? I have no reason. It's horrible what she’s done to it, but it is no longer my town to save. She destroyed everything it stands for, and ruined every good quality it had. She destroyed the Beacon.. I’m never going back. It is its own pocket of hell on the Overworld, I’d rather be trapped in the Nether again.’      With a loaded response, comes one last question. This one has Lukas sitting up and looking and tilting his head downward, toward their laps. He offers his hand to Jesse, only for it to be embraced and held without even a second's hesitation.
“When I go… To finish my book... I know I asked before but... Jesse , would you be willing to come with me?” He sounds sad, as if he’s already assumed the harsh answer. "I don't want to experience the rest of the world if it means I can't have you there to experience it beside me. I want you to be the next chapter of my life, and to be in every single page that comes after."
‘...Because of you... I know now that there is life beyond my forest, beyond my past and BeaconTown itself. I... know I can be more than just… What I am, with you. I will go with you on your journey. You are everything to me, Lukas. I can’t imagine myself without you.’ Jesse admits willfully, so happy to be asked again and having the overwhelming trust within Lukas to say yes. Yes, he will leave this wretched place and build a life with him, no matter the cost.
Lukas can’t hold back the smile and gentle laugh that emits from it as tears well up in his eyes. His hand rises up to cup the admin’s horribly scarred cheek as he looks into those beautifully emissive eyes that gaze back at him just as affectionately. In a heartbeat, Lukas’ truths come out.
“I love you, Jesse.” He says, his voice trembling from the sheer amount of happiness he’s experiencing.
Jesse’s eyes widen and his jaw drops, and all at once, a flash of white ignites in the sky…
The clouds gave way beneath the two.
A terrified shout erupts from Lukas as the stars disappear and the cloud of mist surrounds him. The wind thrashes against him as he falls, when almost as soon as it had started, it all comes to a heart dropping stop.
The feeling of being grabbed takes the air out of him. No longer is he falling, instead snatched and soaring through the air. Lukas feels like a ragdoll, being dropped and now– turned and spun up in a dizzying spiral! The author stares up as the clouds come closer once again. He scrunches his eyes shut and shoves his face into Jesse’s shoulder, feeling the turbulence of the spin as he zooms through the clouds.
“J-Jesse! What happen–” He’s interrupted by the feeling of Jesse nuzzling into his neck, rubbing his cheek against Lukas’ skin. Lukas opens his eyes and leans back just a bit. What he sees… startles him.
“Jesse…” Lukas is speechless with disbelief, shifting his eyes slowly down to see just how… How much smaller the deity looks. “You’re so…” The author starts but isn’t able to finish. His loss of words reaches Jesse’s heart, making the hero glance down and, from what Lukas can tell… Is realize. Jesse looks back up at him with a wide eyed frightened expression, and the next thing Lukas knows is that he’s touching the earth once more.
The light of the moon reveals light blue skin colored like the daytime sky itself. Fluffy blue hair a few shades darker too. Those freckles remain, yet the scars no longer retain that turquoise hue, instead being a deeper shade of the blue that beautifies his skin. Lukas’ heart shakes, even as the spin slows into a gradual, yet hopeful stop above the clouds. That honest, sweet smile, and those eyes that look back at him… White and glossy sclera, and big round dark brown pupils that plead a puppy dog's hope for love. Lukas’ eyes don’t dare waver away from Jesse’s own. His lips part, but no words come out. His racing heart begins to soothe, and his blush returns to dust his cheeks once more. Despite being an anxious wreck with his hair being terribly wind blown, he finds room to be mystified.
Tumblr media
The teleportation was so quick, so sudden, the author stumbles forward and falls to his hands and knees, completely shaken from his time away from the ground.
The sound of grass crunching beneath one’s feet catches his attention, looking up to see… him.
“Jesse?” Lukas grunts as he comes to a stand and quickly walks forward. The hero stops and, it’s at this moment where Lukas sees just how… Small he’s truly become. For the first time ever, he’s having to look down at Jesse, who now turns to him with a self conscious frown and round, worried eyes. Lukas steps closer, and Jesse takes a step away. “Jesse, I—” He runs out of things to say. What is this fear on Jesse’s face? Why does he look so scared of him? Or is it that…
Lukas watches the deity look down at his trembling hands, how small they’ve shrunk and how… vulnerable he’s truly become. Jesse’s face scrunches up with an emotional pain Lukas doesn’t understand. He tightens his fists and shakes his head, looking so defeated.
The admin flinches as he’s gently embraced. He looks up to Lukas with a pout and watering eyes that indicate emotions being withheld from our caring author. Lukas’ mouth shuts, knowing no words can treat whatever feeling Jesse is experiencing. With that, he reaches in for a hug, only to be surprised with a big bear hug from the shorter male. The air is sucked right out of him by the sheer strength in Jesse’s hug, yet his heart melts in his chest feeling him nuzzle his cheek against him. Endless waves of relief and sweet solitude. Lukas holds Jesse just as tight and nestles his nose into that head of curly blue hair where he still carries that fresh scent of wonderful nature.
“To think, no matter the size, you’re still just as sweet…” Lukas mumbles and gives his little boyfriend a loving kiss atop his head. Jesse pulls away but keeps his hands on Lukas’ sides, his eyes glistening as he looks up to the author, brimming with adoration. The deity cannot even begin to believe any of this is truly real, yet here they are now. He’s returned to his natural spawned height and Lukas still…
Lukas’ eyes soften along with his gentle smile, raising his hand up to brush aside that bouncy curl that sits over Jesse’s forehead, then to caress that adorably violet blush atop Jesse’s cheeks. “I love you.” He says again. It’s enough to make Jesse buckle down, his knees weakened as he sinks into the grass and Lukas follows him. Trembling hands grab eagerly at Lukas’ cheeks and the two come together in a kiss that screams desperation for love and reassurance.
The confession causes more of the bright blue star-shaped flowers to bloom all across the hero’s mossy cape. There’s still so much moss left for Lukas to grab at. His eyes have since fluttered shut as he focuses on the kiss, focusing on giving his boyfriend everything he has to offer him.
When Jesse parts, he reaches into his inventory and brings out his journal. He holds it in both hands as he uses his powers to open it, holding it up so Lukas can read.
     ‘Earlier, you mentioned The Universe.
I have seen The Universe. You’re right… It does want us to succeed. You reminded me of that. The Universe, it wants us to be who we are made to be, that it will care for us… and that… It loves you. And Lukas, you are so precious to me, I cannot be without you. You are my universe now, and you must know that I love you.’
Lukas must wipe away the tears in his eyes as he reads Jesse’s response. Endless waves of relief and happiness flow throughout his body. “Oh Jesse..” Lukas sobs, using his palms to wipe away his tears, his sniffles only growing louder with how many uncontrolled emotions continue to careen down his flushed cheeks. “I’m so happy. T-the happiest I’ve ever been in my entire life. You're my universe too.”
Nothing else in life matters, all the noise of the forest has silenced, just for this moment alone. Without need for hesitation, smaller blue hands grab at and bring Lukas down as the deity himself lays back beneath the willow. Both hearts beat so fast as they come together, Jesse bringing the author down on top of him. It feels wonderful. It feels… absolutely perfect.
The winds have since ceased and the soft glow of the flowers in the meadow bring forth their own little slice of heaven here in the forest. While the little critters all around the woodland settle in for the night, the couple stay attentive and lively to each other's needs. Years of loneliness have led up to this moment of passion. Where confessions of love have been yearned for, they have been finally heard.
They kiss, enticing enough pleasure to elicit a groan from deep within the admin’s chambered heart. Lukas’ stomach flutters at the sound, his features strengthening into something desperate as heat instantly pools something fierce inside him.
The pressure of hands suddenly grabbing his waist instantly sends Lukas’ senses on high alert, driving a soft little sound, close to a moan, pouring out of the man. That grip on him suddenly strengthens, causing him to gasp as he’s not only grabbed, but shoved down to the ground and pinned by two massive hands. He has only a second of time to look up to see those glowing turquoise eyes have returned and stare back at him hungrily before it all comes crashing down. Lukas grunts, Jesse’s scarred lips meeting him with an intense force that pushes his head back down against the grass. “Jesse–” he whimpers against his lips just to have all his remaining words stuffed back inside him with another kiss.
Jesse's grip on his powers and all else wavers as he grasps onto Lukas' hips and asserts himself on top. He always imagined how he’d overshadow and devour Lukas in this moment. He never expected to return to such a short stature, it gave him a brief taste of his old humanity and while it is sweet, it cannot last. Lukas is an angel sent to him by the Aether itself, and Jesse is the beast that's going to bask in his light.
He's ravenous and eager, the way they kiss goes beyond anything they've done before. Lukas’ soft, pursed lips are kissed more and more. Jesse's excitement sets his body and mind ablaze, drawing his tongue out and finally tasting Lukas for himself. Slowly, Jesse drags his soft purple tongue over Lukas’ parting lips. The wet feeling makes Lukas shudder, so he tilts his head to the side and drags his tongue upward from his partner's strong jaw line all the way up his cheek and to his ear. He grins at the adorable noises Lukas makes, hearing his breath shake and his body shivering at the admin's hungry touch.
It's all so quick, even as he takes his time. Jesse presses a kiss to Lukas’ blushing ear, then trails down his neck with more audible smooches.
“Jesse...” Lukas whispers, breathless and so desperate. He clings to his boyfriend's mossy pelt and kneads at it. He gasps, closing his eyes as temptation fuels his actions, and heat rushes to all the right places. He kicks his feet weakly, butterflies in his belly flourishing as Jesse emits a quiet, gentler growl into the author's ear as he puts a bit of space between their bodies. His gloves fade into light then vanish, his thick blue fingers drag down Lukas’ flat stomach. Jesse lifts his head and breathes deeply, adoring the way Lukas looks beneath him. The deity will never forget or tire of the way Lukas tastes and smells. Especially the way he smiles at him now, his face is red hot and his eyes have captured the stars…
Absolutely enamored, Jesse's expression softens into such playful pleasure. He smirks, his eyes drawn only to those pouty lips. There's no reason to hesitate, he only does so he can bask in his boyfriend's beauty. After a few heated seconds, Jesse captures Lukas’ mouth yet again. Now he takes his chance to memorize the way Lukas' warm skin feels beneath his touch. After feeling along Lukas’ belt line, he glides so easily underneath the thin t-shirt.
Jesse shudders lightly, he feels his entire body flare hot as Lukas flinches and arches his back into the deity’s hold. “Oh my–” Their bodies press together once more in a way that makes Jesse tense and very, very warm. He caresses Lukas’ scar and feels his stomach flip as the softest, weakest whimper of pleasure is breathed into him. Jesse dives right in. His purple tongue plunges past bright white teeth and embraces its hot, pink partner. They both grip each other a little harder, Lukas pouring another moan into him as Jesse settles into this overwhelming temptation between them. Devouring his sweet ecologist in a bout of urgency and deep pleasures.
He carefully settles his wide hips down against Lukas’ and his hands continue their travels, exploring Lukas’ flawless body. The magic blossoms between them as Jesse's hands travel higher, Lukas' shirt is lifted, pushed up and exposing his pale skin to the elements. But it's much too hot with Jesse on top, tasting the intimate insides of Lukas’ mouth. Within the wet, heated kiss they wrestle, dance and grind, sharing in this wonderful experience that neither party will ever forget.
Jesse's hands finally ghost over Lukas’ chest, pressing his palms in to grasp and to grope. Jesse withdraws his tongue only to growl, possessive and dangerous. Lukas is panting, his mouth never seems to close as hot breaths and soft sweet noises keep coming out of him..
The deity rubs gentle circles over Lukas’ chest, getting a feel for what it's like to truly touch another person. Kissing his cheek then kissing his jaw and down to his neck. He can feel the author's goosebumps rising against his lips as he trails down the pale skin. He presses his stubby nose down against Lukas’ neck, inhaling his fresh clean scent and the remnants of his cologne.
He then bares his teeth, growling as his palms come to a slow halt. Closing his eyes, he can feel Lukas’ heartbeat and seeks out his vitals…
His jaws part and his teeth caress the sensitive areas, huffing through them before he latches on. He sinks his teeth into the nape of Lukas’ neck and shoulder, groaning as euphoria courses through his body. He sucks at the spot harshly, uncontrolled and unbridled with passion. He growls and adjusts, licking in search of goosebumps only to return to the spot and bite down again.
“Ah! J-Jesse, oh, dear creators, Jesse!” Lukas voice cracks as it pitches up higher than either of them have heard before. His hands suddenly move, gripping on Jesse's dark blue curls and doing whatever he can to keep the deity attached to his neck.
Through his whimpers and breathless pleading for inconsolable love, Jesse brings their hips together. Heat surging through them both and clouding their every thought. They move together, Jesse's hands gliding down to Lukas' waist line just so he can grind against him…
It’s then heat shattering ice careens down his spine, an uncomfortable reality snatching Jesse's heart and desires from Lukas. He feels absolutely ragged and desperate, whilst a bit embarrassed too. The way they're pressed together answers so many questions that were not asked quite yet.
Jesse sits up, kneeled between Lukas’ thighs with his eyes on the dark forest behind the willow, beyond their little flower patch.
His cheeks are flushed, his chin is soaked with his own drool. As is Lukas’ rapidly darkening neck, something about peering down at Lukas and seeing such harsh affection painted upon fills him with satisfaction.
His gaze darts amongst the trees and he glares as he meets his silent confirmation far, far off in the distance.
Lukas is still panting, his pale white cheeks now stained bright red. His eyes are gleaming with the moon as he’s finally able to open them. While it was phenomenal, unlike anything he’s ever felt, the bite Jesse gave him had him cringing. No more though, now all he felt was his heartbeat throbbing in new places.
“Jesse..?” He whispers, having to lick his lips to speak. He reaches and gently caresses those armored arms before caressing the man's stomach. Good grief, Lukas seethes and drops his head back against the grass. Everything feels so, so good… “What’s wrong?”
The deity huffs through his nostrils, using his powers elsewhere against an unwelcome entity.
“Hey, Jesse, look at me..” Lukas reaches up and caresses both sides of Jesse's grizzly cheeks. He smiles softly as round, sad eyes meet his gaze.
“Petra’s here for me.. isn't she?” He uses his thumbs to pet the pouty, soft area just beneath Jesse's eyes. The deity nods, looking down to his boyfriend's lips, feeling his heart drown in an ocean of unease, frustration, and sadness. It’s practically impossible for him to find footing in a sea like this..
“Remember what we talked about… You trust me, don’t you? How far is she?”
Jesse hesitates nodding this time, but he does. Then he just doesn't respond to the second, looking away for a second just before Lukas huffs. They meet again and Lukas bores so much affection within his gaze.
     “Are you messing with her?”
Jesse shrugs, which makes Lukas laugh breathlessly. He sits up now, tugging his shirt back into place. The author's hands then return to the warm purple cheeks, “Well quit it until I meet with her. I want her to trust us, remember?” Jesse frowns and lowers his head, looking like a big puppy dog who was just told no. Lukas smiles, his voice quiet as he speaks. “Kiss me before we go?”
They do just that, and everything else that comes with kissing your beloved. They grapple at each other's clothing, hold one another, let their tongues caress in a slow meaningful dance of passion.. Lukas does his best to mirror what Jesse has done, playfully licking his boyfriend's cheek before peppering it in adoring kisses. It gets a huffed laugh out of him. It’s until they hear a distant, frustrated yell they pry their mouths apart.
“Hah-” Lukas is all too pleased with their actions, realizing they may have gone on for too long. “I.. I think that's our cue..” Jesse emits a deep growl, but this time is a bit more willing to let Lukas go..
He’s been sucking beautiful little bruises into Lukas’ neck and shoulder, so he licks his lips before stealing one more kiss from his blond boyfriend.
“Come on,” Lukas says as he pulls away, giving Jesse's cheek a nuzzle as he continues. “Summon Dewey and my stuff to a safe spot not too far from her. I'll say my goodbyes one last time before I approach her.” Lukas then pauses, blushing profusely as he comes to a horrifying realization. “A-and uhm… Let me get my peacoat on. It's… getting chilly.”
“Dewey, you're staying here with Jesse.” Lukas says as he leans down and pets his ocelot atop his head. The plan seems to catch not only Dewey off guard, but Jesse too. The two look at each other before looking back at Lukas. The author holds the strap of his satchel anxiously, still very nervous in this next step of the journey. Who knows what this part of his adventure will unfold?
The forest is somber in silence as it watches Lukas give his goodbyes. Petra is only a few chunks away right now, and Jesse was able to bring him close enough without causing much of a disturbance that would gain the mayor's attention.
Lukas looks up to his big blue boyfriend, smiling sadly as he does. “I wish you could come with me… But I know in my heart you're safest here, Jesse.” Jesse frowns but nods, offering his hands out for Lukas to take. Lukas holds him gently, sighing with a smile as he looks down at their joined hands. “You know, you sure were super cute earlier when you shrank down for me.” Jesse tenses, which makes Lukas smirk as he continues. “ Even if you accidentally dropped us, I think I understand why.”
“You said before, that when I was talking about you to Petra and your connection severed, what I said made you feel small.” Jesse frowns and his cheeks turn a dark shade of purple as he looks away. “You've been wanting to hear those words for a long time, haven't you?” Jesse's face scrunches up and his frown deepens, clearly embarrassed, which Lukas absolutely adores. “Pfft, you're so silly.” The hands holding his tighten and the admin's form embraces the light as he shrinks.
“Whoa!” Lukas grins as he's lifted up by strong arms and spun around, a happy laugh bubbling out of him. Dewey stands by, completely shocked at the scene, and especially the Jesse-human’s new stature! Jesse puts Lukas down carefully, then brings his book out of his inventory, prioritizing his powers for quicker communication than writing.
‘You make me feel like myself again! I can't keep this form forever, but I love that I can share it with you, and that you love me no matter how I look! The big guy keeps me safe, so for as long as I am hunted, I must let this part of me rest…’ Jesse smiles big and leans up, pressing a kiss against Lukas’ chin, then to his soft lips where he lingers before audibly parting. ‘I love you, Lukas.’
With that, the book poofs and Jesse's shape shifts, once again taking form to his bigger, beastlier self. He takes a step back, clearing a path for Lukas to begin taking his next few steps on his journey to make things right.
Lukas lets go of only one of Jesse's hands, lifting the other to press a kiss to the turquoise scar on the back of his dark blue hand. “I love you too. I'll make it back safely. I promise.” Lukas then turns to Dewey as the ocelot approaches with his head low and ears flattened. “Ohh, and I love you too, Dew. You be a good boy for Jesse while I'm gone, okay? Try not to drive him too crazy.” Lukas settles on his knees and gives his cat a kiss right between the ears before standing again. “I assume Berry has wandered off, but that's okay. These goodbyes are making it harder to go.” He shakes his head and turns away, waving his two boys off. “I have the lantern, stay close to me, okay?”
Jesse nods once. His rugged expression creases with increasing worry and distress watching Lukas smile and turn away. He can feel Petra moving closer. He can see Lukas walking further away. The deity stays put though, knowing… this must be done.
Walking away from those that he loves is one of the most excruciating feelings to say the least, but knowing he has loved ones to come back to is all the more reason that Lukas presses on determinedly. He finally spots her in the distance, waiting against a tree. Lukas’ expression grows curious as he approaches her, noticing she's doing something with her hands. Looks like she's whittling wood?
“Petra?” He says her name and tenses as she immediately comes to a full stand and puts her gear back into her inventory.
“You know for someone who's trying to prove himself, you sure did take your damn time didn't you?” The mayor's voice is low and unsympathetic to Lukas’ nervous expression.
“I-I’m sorry, I was in the middle of saying goodbyes…” Lukas grasps his arm anxiously, offering a sheepish smile that only makes Petra narrow her eyes. Whether or not she believes him is beyond him.
“I see…” She glares, looking him up and down. “You look like you didn't bother to look in a mirror.” She comments on the blond's disheveled look. Lukas blushes lightly and grasps the collar of his turtleneck, pulling it up with a bit of a nervous laugh.
“Oh… Y-yeah I kind of… passed out and slept through most of the day.” Lukas explains, but Petra seems distracted. The author looks at her, noticing the way her eyes stare past him. He glances back, seeing nothing but the darkness within the trees. The fog has grown dense and distorts their fields of vision. It's been awhile since he's seen it like this…
“Well… I'm excited to see Redstonia! I've never been, mostly because I've heard there isn't much nature there. Just tons of man made builds and inventions.” Lukas walks past the mayor now, heading his way down the path he knows will bring them back to the forest treeline. “Honestly, I'm not all that interested in redstone, but it will be kind of cool to see what incredible things our creative minds are capable of constructing.” When Petra doesn't respond, the author turns.
She continues to stand there motionlessly staring back into the void. Lukas feels his heart sink, knowing what awaits him beyond the fog. He returns to Petra's side, speaking quietly to get her attention.
“Hey…” Lukas says. Petra's eyes snap back towards him and he feels that horrible anxiety unfold as memories begin to flood his mind of the night prior. The author sighs heavily, knowing he must push those thoughts aside now if he is ever to repair this perhaps one-sided friendship that they have. “I… know things are really weird right now, a-and I know you probably hate me, and that's totally fine, but I hope we're able to finally find a compromise.”
Petra scowls at him, her eyes searching his own for a moment that brings nothing but unease to his heart.
“Let's get this over with.” She says and turns sharply, her fluttering cape just barely grazing his chest. “I'm sick of being here. This fog is stupid and relentless.”
With that, the two begin their short trek back to the forest treeline. Each step weighs Lukas’ heart heavier, and just when he feels like he's going to be sick, he's surprised to suddenly feel something resting within his hand. Lukas glances down to see a folded up sheet of paper, then looks up to Petra where she walks hurriedly just a few blocks ahead. Lukas urgently opens the paper, and what's written inside makes his eyes shine with emotion.
‘Be safe. I love you. ♡‘

OC Aztec Digimon
Another one of my digifake posts. See previous posts at moth and crab. I'm breaking tradition by making this one a vertebrate. All members of this line are virus-attribute.
The Rookie/Child level is Ocemon, a beast Digimon that lives in the jungle. While it has the size and appearance of a pet cat, Ocemon is a wild and unruly Digimon that will not tolerate being treated like a pet and is difficult for tamers to handle. it is a hunter who loves battle and sometimes challenges enemies out of its league. Its attacks are Kitten Claw, where it attacks with its claws, and Petite Predator, where it stealthily approaches its target from behind and leaps onto the target, attacking with claws and fangs.
Tumblr media
Ocemon is based on an ocelot, a species of wild cat found in Mexico and Central and South America. I definitely took inspiration from Liollmon in this design and the two may be a related species.
Ocemon evolves to Jaguarmon. Jaguarmon is a violent and dangerous Digimon that is a master of jungle combat. It loves challenges and hunts and can switch between using stealth to attack or challenging its enemies in open combat. Jaguarmon is proud and refuses to submit to all but the most skilled and worthy of masters. It wears a necklace strung with the teeth of foes it found particularly challenging. Its moves are Istetl Iuan Tokuatlak (Nahuatl for claw and fang. Disclaimer that I am using an online translator for these names) where it savages it enemies with its powerful fangs and claws and Jaguar's Roar, where it unleashes a roar that paralyzes its foes with fright or even kills low-level Digimon.
Tumblr media
Jaguarmon is based on jaguars, who were a big deal to the Aztecs. They were viewed as the mightiest of animals and avatars of the god Tezcatilpoca. The colorful attire Jaguarmon wears is inspired by Aztec clothing and art and the mask also kind of has a Luchador vide for a modern Mexico reference.
Jaguarmon evolves to WarJaguarmon. It is a powerful and dangerous Digimon that claims to be the mightiest warrior of the Digital World's jungles and has a body count to back up that claim. While it loves to fight, it has a code of honor and will give respects to those it believes to be a worthy foe. Its mighty weapon "Macuahuitl" is tipped with pieces of obsidian digizoid, allowing it to cut through most forms of armor and it breaths fireballs capable of melting rock into magma. Its attacks are Obsidian Blade, where it delivers a mighty blow with "Macuahitl", and Tletl (fire) Flame, where it spews forth a fireball.
Tumblr media
WarJaguarmon is based on jaguar warriors, a class of elite warriors in aztec society along with the eagle warriors, collectively called cuāuhocēlōtl. Jaguar warriors dressed in attire that looked like jaguars, but WarJaguarmon doesn't really need that. The clothing it wears is based on an Aztec loincloth called a maxtlatl and the Digicode on the sash reads "ocelotl" which is as close as I could get to the Aztec word for "jaguar" as Digicode doesn't have accent marks. A macuahuitl is a common Mesoamerican weapon consisting of a club imbedded with obsidian blades. The snake design on it is based on this Aztec statue.
The final evolution is Huitzimon. It is feared and revered amongst jungle-dwellers as the "bloody god of the jungle" for it possesses and endless desire to fight and can command the power of the sun. Its combat prowess is such that it can rival members of the Royal Knights. While violent and bloodthirsty, it has a sense of honor and respects good fighters. Digimon who bring it the Digi-Cores of their defeated enemies will be rewarded for their courage and combat prowess. The snake that lives on its arm is named "Xiuhcoatl" and when in battle, it transforms into a mighty spear that both burns and poisons those it strikes. When under the light of the sun, Huitzimon sprouts flaming wings and gains the ability to fly. Its attacks are Serpent Spear Strike, where it impales its foes with "Xiuhcoatl" and Tonatiu Tlekiauitl (sunfire rain), where it spews forth stellar plasma that rains down on its foes.
Tumblr media
Huitzimon continues the jaguar warrior inspiration while also being based on Huitzilopochtli, the god of war and the sun (though jaguar warriors were actually associated with Tezcatilpoca). There are several bird-like elements in this design such as the wings, bird skull helmet (which is a Hououmon's skull) and the hummingbird skull decoration on its clothing. Huitzilopochtli was associated with birds, particularly eagles and hummingbirds. A common symbol of Huitzilopochtli was an eagle perched on a cactus holding a snake in its claws, which is depicted on Huitzimon's shield. That same snake statue from WarJaguarmon is also on its shield. The blue mask it wears references Huitzilopochtli usually being depicted with blue skin. I tried out making Huitzimon blue and didn't like the way it looked, so I settled for the mask. The Digi-Code on its sash reads "sun god". Xiuhcoatl was a serpent either associated with or an alternate form of Huitzilopochtli and the god was depicted using a spear thrower in its shape. I exaggerated this into an actual spear largely because I think spears are cool and more characters should use them. I did include the snake-shaped spear thrower on Huitzimon's design as well. Huitzimon's habit of giving blessings to Digimon who offer it Digi-Cores is a reference to Aztec human sacrifices to Huitzilopochtli where hearts were removed from the sacrifices so their blood could empower the god. As I mentioned last time, I have a trio of OC evolution lines that fit into three trios: vaccine/virus/data, day/night/twilight, and fighter/mage/rogue. Huitzimon is the virus attribute, represents day, and is the fighter. My previous post had Nyxmon as the vaccine, night, and mage member.
Let me know what you think of these designs. I'm still not a great artist, but I am getting better and these were by far the most complex designs I've ever drawn. Both of the final two stages each took about as much time as the whole moth evolution line did.

First
Foxes (short):
I'm pretty sure everyone knows what a fox is, a small to medium omnivorous mammal belonging to several genera of the family Canidae.
Foxes live on every continent except Antarctica, and the most common is the red fox.
Foxes typically live about 3-10 years
Tumblr media
Look at it! So cute and silly!! I love them <3
Next! Ocelots!
The ocelot is a medium-sized, spotted wild cat that likes to eat armadillos, opossums, and lagomorphs (rabbits and hares) it's good at climbing, leaping and swimming. It hunts at twilight and night. It usually does so on its own.

For just a moment near dawn and dusk each day, the illumination on Earth matches that of high noon on Pluto!
What does that mean for you? If you go outside at this time on a clear day, the world around you will be as bright as the brightest part of the day on Pluto!
Isn't that so cool!?!??!
Unfortunately, clear days are hard to come by :((

In India also, many people are keeping cats as pets.
The earliest ancestor of the cat was the miacis, which lived over fifty five million years ago. The miacis had a long body and tail, short legs and looked somewhat like a weasel. The ancestor of all domestic cats is African wild cat. All domestic cats are members of same species, Felis Catus. African wild cats were found in fossil form as early as thirty eight million years ago. Cats are one of the oldest mammals on the earth. The cat family includes large members such as Lion, Tiger , Leopard , Cheetah , Cougar, Jaguar, Panther and Lynx. Other small members of cat family include European wild cat, Kodkod, Pampas cat, Geoffroy's cat, Tiger cat, Puma, Ocelot, Bobcat, Jaguarundi, Margay, Andean mountain cat, Leopard cat, Jungle cat, Fishing cat, Pallas's cat, Rusty-spotted cat, Marbled cat, Bay cat, Iriomote cat, Temminck's golden cat, Flat-headed cat, Chinese desert cat, Sand cat, Caracal, African wild cat, Serval, African golden cat and Black-footed cat.

*gives you ocelot armor!*
{ Lukas gained ocelot armor! }
[ While Lukas slept, a set of ocelot armor materialized on the floor. Dewey stirred, blinking awake as his eyes landed on the strange new arrival. Curious, he hopped down, padding over to inspect it more closely. ]
[ He sniffed at the armor, his tail flicking thoughtfully, before deciding it wasn’t worth the effort. With a small leap, he returned to the bed, nestled back in, and drifted off once again. ]

Ocelot Ch. 3: Special Delivery
Special Delivery
It was another beautiful sunny day in Playa De La Codicia as Ocelot was perched on a roof top surveying the street below.  He didn’t have classes this morning, so he thought why not take a quick patrol around Old Town.  He had been on two patrols thus far, both at night and they were disappointingly uneventful.  But, today, as he crossed several roof tops, his danger sense gave him a slight tingle.  And Ocelot thought it best to pay attention to it.  So, here he knelt tilting his head to sense anything out of the ordinary.
Traffic was light and only a few pedestrians walked down the street.  But, just when he was about to move on, Ocelot saw an armored truck pull up in front of Kensington’s Jewelry and Precious Metals. Out of the truck jumped three guards all in ballistic cloth armor, two wielding shot guns and one armed with a side arm and carrying a metal brief case.
The buzzing in Ocelot’s mind increased and he thought, “Ok, this is interesting.  What do they have in the case, I wonder?”.
No, sooner than when those thoughts had left his mind, in his peripheral vision he caught sight of something greenish moving with lightning speed toward the guards.  Ocelot knew he had to get down to the street as quickly as possible.  But, before he could launch himself off the roof top, the green blur was just already in reach of the guards.  Ocelot thought he saw the blur slow down just enough to see that it was what appeared to be a man dressed in skin tight green suit (looking somewhat like a speed skater) and yellow boggles and had a handle bar mustache.  The man reached out to grab the metal brief case.  But he fumbled it and it went clattering away to the gutter of the street.  Ocelot was already in motion and acrobatically leapt onto an awning from a restaurant below then he bounced over to a tall, ornate lamp post upon which he quickly slid down.
Meanwhile, the green suited speedster stopped down the street and stared at Ocelot. His eyes seemed to move from Ocelot to the case and then back to Ocelot. Ocelot knew he had no time to waste, and he retrieved magic lasso from his belt pouch which seemed to leap into his hand of it's own accord. He flung the rope out long and fast and a stylized grappling cat claw latched almost perfectly on the case handle. Ocelot gave the rope a hard tug and the case was soon in the hero's hand. The green speedster was already streaking down the street back towards the case. But, instead of going for the case again, he swerved to make a collision course with Ocelot! Ocelot’s danger sense seemed to scream in his head and his super cat reflexes took over. He somersaulted out of the way just in time to see the speedster miss him by mere inches! But, the wind sheer from the speedsters move by did catch Ocelot by surprise and he went tumbling harmlessly a meter or two away.
Ocelot kipped up, and saw that the case had slid back to sit between the guards.  He yelled to the guards, “Grab the case and get back in the truck and lock the door!”.
The guards heeded Ocelot’s command and the guard with no shot gun grabbed the case and ran for the armored cars open door.
The green speedster whipped around and said, “Special delivery, Post Haste!” and he threw several letter shaped knives at the running guard.  But only one of the knives struck the guard and it lodged into the guard’s thick kevlar vest.
Ocelot felt the trickster side of the Ocelot mark rise up in him and he shouted after the speedster, “Wow! You really aren’t very good at this are you!? First, you fumble the case and then you can’t hit them with your own knives when they are slower than molasses to you?!  Post Haste is your name?  It should be No Haste!”
Suddenly, the green speedster stopped and stood still and glared at Ocelot clearly full of rage, and yelled back, “Oh, I see! We have a comedian in our midst!  Ok, wise guy! I was going to go easy on you all.  But, no, you open your trap.  So, this is for you wise ass!  And for the record, the name IS Post Haste!” At that,  he pulled a small box from a satchel he wore and sped towards Ocelot.
This exchange gave the guards the time they needed to get into the van and slam the door shut and lock the door behind them.
Ocelot thought to himself, “Wow! It worked!  Now, if I can just stay alive!”.  His danger sense went bananas again in his mind and he tumbled out of the speedsters path.  But this time it was too easy and he realized that Post Haste wasn’t trying to collide with him.  He looked down and saw the brown box just a few meet away.  The box had a LED clock that was ticking down to mere seconds!!  No time to think, just to act!  Ocelot dove for the box, and rolled up on his feet holding the package.  Then, with all the strength he could muster he heaved the box straight up into the air.  And just in time, the box sailed above the roof top and exploded in loud burst of noise and fire!! *BOOM!!!!*
Scraps of paper and cinders rained down on street.  Mercifiully, no one was injured.  Ocelots ears were ringing as he got back up to his feet.  He surveyed the scene and Post Haste was no where to be found.  Ocelot figured that the speedster didn’t have the strength to get the armored car open and so gave up on the heist and fled.  But, WOW!  He had survived his first encounter with an actual super powered criminal!
Soon after, Playa De La Codicia’s finest and EMS arrived on scene.  Ocelot gave them a statement and while they also questioned the guards.  A paramedic walked up to Ocelot and checked him out before giving his fellow EMS techs a thumbs up and left as abruptly as they had arrived.   A police officer told him, “Well, I think we’ve got enough to go on here.  Good job, hero.”
When Ocelot turned around he saw a familiar reporter that he had seen many times on TV.  She was the tall red head star reporter for Playa’s Channel 4 Action News, Rachel Corvin and Ocelot’s secret crush.  She had a microphone in hand and said, “This is Rachel Corvin coming to you live from the scene of the attempted armored car heist.  Onlookers say that that it was Ocelot, the city’s newest guardian, who wen toe to toe with the criminal speedster known as Post Haste and foiled the heist.  Do you have any words for us,  Ocelot?  Uncharacteristically, Ocelot blushed hot behind his mask and stumbled with his words, “I…errr..ummm…just did what anyone else would do…Muh…Miss Corvin”.  Rachel smiled a sly grin and looking back in the camera she said, “There you have it folks!  Humble as he is brave.  Rachel Corvin, Channel 4 Action News.  Ok that’s a rap boys!”  And when she turned, the cat hero was gone.  She mused to herself, “How does he do that?!”
Epilogue:  In a smoky back room, a shadowy figure turned away from the TV set playing the news and slammed his meaty fist down on the table in front of him. In a raspy voice he said, "That's the third time this cat guy has mucked around with our operations! We gotta get rid this guy once and for all! Call out the big guns!". The El Gato lieutenant nodded and said, "Yes sir" and swiftly left the room.

Jinx did not remember a lot of her mother or her father, for that matter. She had been young when they had both died, as far as she knew, at least. Though some things just burned themselves into your memory. When it came to Felicia, that was her smell: A pungent, almost strange blend of ocelot and tiger, which usually was covered up by achsle grease.
As for her father... Jinx's memories were even less consistent regarding Connel. He was there but more like a backstage presence as opposed to Felicia, who had done everything with her girls: Fed them, clothed them, measured their heights, played with them. Jinx did not know much, but one thing had been undeniable. Her mother had been such a lively presence.
Such a shame she had to die.
It still was difficult for Jinx to grasp that Silco was not just her foster parent but her biological one. For such a long time, she had assumed it was Connel as he had been Felicia's mate. However, the more Jinx understood herself, the more she retroactively realised that maybe her mother had not been as faithful to the concept of a mate as she should have been. Instead, if Jinx had been born from a different parent, who was to say the same had not happened for Vi? Still, even these contemplations had done little to diminish the love seething hatred she felt for the magenta-haired girl who had left her alone.
Calling Silco Papa had always been a thing of ease. Yet, Jinx had done so with the impression that she was his foundling, much like what she had been for Vander. Still, there had always been a deeper connection to the man with his badly scarred face than to the big, bear-like, warm-hearted bartender everybody loved so much. Something about him had felt right in a way, Vander had never been able to capture.
Tumblr media
Excitement and pride fumed and bubbled in her like the waves of the ocean, crashing upon the shore upon hearing his words. She had exceeded his expectations. That meant she had not jinxed things. She had done something good and correct. An excited giggle brushed up her throat as Jinx followed Silco with her eyes. They locked upon the bloodied and saliva-coated limb tongue, hanging uselessly between pinched fingers.
She had done this. She had mutilated this man. Jinx shook, and her organs seemed liquid, swirling around her bones. Something primal flashed in her body, and her claws itched. She wanted more. She wanted to scratch and slice at this man, tear him asunder! She wanted to stand up, coated in blood on her arms. She wanted to disembowel him like the carcass he was!
Jinx almost rushed at Silco as he gave her his attention. Barely containing herself from leaping at the man in a wild embrace, she was instead content to purr loudly as she was being praised for her work. Yes, tell me I did a good job! Tell me how perfect I am. Love me, love me, love me! The same fever which had made her love Vi and cling to her until blood coated her claws now made her feel the same about Silco. A happy squeal escaped her throat, and she flexed her hands into loose fists, shaking, as Silco praised her precise cut when it came to the tongue.
Tumblr media
Jinx smiled coyly and admitted: "It feels good. I want to tear that man apart even further. Make an explosion out of his blood and viscera." Her fingers traced over the Chomper's jawlines, which rested on her utility belt. "You know, Papa, I do not think I have ever seen someone suffer from my explosions up close. I know that they kill, but I wonder what it does to the body. Can we try that? Can we? Make him be littered with Chompers and watch the explosions tear the flesh from his bones?"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At one point, Silco and Vander had been of the same mind. Both had desired to break free of the noose that Piltover wrapped around their necks. All of those years of working the mines, forced to inhale the poisonous air around them, had driven them to want something more. Silco had been a different man then, a man who was a willingly to peacefully resolve it because he had hope. That hope had a name, Felicia. She lit even the darkest skies, what could be seen of them, and for her they tried to make the world better even more.
The day Felicia died, all of that light disappeared. His entire life fell apart, as they had been at wits end and taken the fight to the bridge. The enforcers had dealt the final blow, and taken her from them. He blamed himself for it, having helped lead the charge in… Perhaps what stung the most was that Vander had been so convinced he’d done it. The woman he’d fallen in love with, and the man whom he once equally loved, gone.
That rage had built over the years, as Vander played leader. That aspect had his respect, however, when he befriended the sheriff and worked alongside them, that respect turned to hatred. Not even when held at knife point, and the option of the shimmer had been put on the table, did Vander sway. Silco knew then that he had turned his back on them, he was no better than the piltovians. And he was dragging his child down with him.
Most knew Vi, Vanders beloved prodigy and daughter of Felicia. He could have cared less about her. No, the only one who mattered was the precious blue haired child, Powder. The girl was a spitting image of her mother. The light that had disappeared, was now dim, growing brighter and brighter. And it was because of her, but she was being blinded by Vander. The drive to free her from him was intense, to show her reality… and it only grew once he realized that Powder was his daughter, the way she resembled him just as much as her mother.
Tumblr media
Now, despite the tragedy that had befallen them both, he finally had his daughter. Seeing her break down that night, had hurt him in ways he never thought he could anymore. However since then he vowed to make her stronger, to show her how much Vander had been holding her back. And oh, how she truly was her father’s daughter. Jinx had become her own person in the same way he’d been forced to by circumstance. The only thing he did was aid her, support her in becoming the best version of herself. And with time she’d become just as determined as he was. Her mother was the same, in her own way. More importantly she was independent; free to be who she wanted, and he would never stop her.
Silco presented an opportunity to do something to the people who caused them pain and unlike Vander, she didn’t hesitate. A father’s pride swelled up in him, as he watched her grab tools. As she wasted no time in cutting off the piltie’s tongue with the scalpel. He listened to each strike, his grin stretching with each one. The moans that followed were music to his ears. The pain was deserved for everything they had done to them, all the things they had taken.
“You are exceeding any expectations I might have had, daughter.” The smile on his face was genuine as he approached where she had put the severed tongue. With a gloved hand he had picked up the to tongue, examining it closely. “The tongue holds all lies, manipulates those who aren’t careful. Now this man will no longer be able to do so again.”
Tumblr media
Silco set the tongue down, and soon he was by her side, hand resting on her shoulder. “I’ve never been more proud.” His back was turned to the Piltie, a sign of how little he cared for the man. To him, that man was trash beneath his feet, something that was usually the inverse.
A rough, calloused hand cupped her cheek before he approached the enforcer. He forced the mouth opening, and although blood covered the majority of his mouth, he could see where Jinx cut. "Expert cutting, just like you're shooting." He pulled out a vial, filling it with the blood that flooded out. Of course the enforcer tried to fight him, to push him back, but it was to no avail. Silco filled one more vial before returning back to Jinx.
"How does it feel? Knowing that his fate is in your hands? Knowing that you’re finally able to channel your pain and make them suffer?" Silco watched her carefully, observing her reaction. To see what emotion it might stir, but also to see how empowered she must have felt. Knowing that for once this was something within her control, not Vi's, not even his. Hers. "You're in control in this moment, now. Not anyone else, not even necessarily me. You have the power in your hands."
