henlo pls talk to me more abt an AU where Shiggy quite easily recruits an angry, disillusioned, frustrated Tenya for the LoV especially after Stain nearly kills Tensei because im. so here for Tenya "Stain was an asshole hypocrite but he was also kinda right and if heroism hurts my brother than i hate heroism" Iida and i feEL SO. ALONE OUT ON THIS LIMB. (also iida and shiggy are my top 1 and top 3 fave characters, i just need more headcanon and fanon of them pls)

*slams fist on the table* SHIG AND IIDA ARE MY TWO FAVORITE CHARACTERS, NUMBER 1 AND NUMBER 2 RESPECTIVELY, AND I WILL CREATE CONTENT FOR THEM WITH OWN BARE HANDS IF I HAVE TO.

Okay but listen … Shig, I love you, but you lost your brain cells when you picked Bakugou to join the LOV when my boy Iida was RIGHT THERE. Shig, my man, did you not SEE my boy Iida walking in that alley with murder intent and ripping a knife from his arm with HIS TEETH? And like yeah sure, Iida, of course, went back on the right hero path because he is literally the best boy ever, but who knows, maybe he would have more … “receptive” to Shigaraki’s idea, (I mean no he wouldn’t have been, because he is the best, but for the sake of this AU, let’s say that he would be).

I’M JUST REALLY HERE FOR VILLAIN IIDA, I’m here for best boy, nerd, jock, prep, class president, just fucking snapping. Iida seeing how some civilians start to idealise Stain like he is some kind of cool rock star when he is the man who destroyed his brother’s life, Iida seeing the heroes just locking Stain in jail without trying to change or fix anything, and Iida starting to think that … there’s something deeply wrong with the world.

And Iida keeps thinking about it more and more, isolating himself from his friends and the rest of the class. Meanwhile, Shigaraki (who was observing the Stain fight from apart) keeps thinking about that kid who just fucking walked up to Stain and tried to murder him??? Like, the intelligence??? The power??? The culture??? He wants to talk to this kid. So the summer camp happens, but this time, the LOV is after Iida. SO LIKE he is the one brought to the LOV and Shigaraki and him have this talk, except in this AU, they really really talk. Shig untie him, Iida is listening. They argue about hero society for a while, but Shig is smart and knows how to push Iida’s button. He knows how to present the facts in a way that will startle Iida even more.

And then … PLOT TWIST, Shig actually lets him go. He lets Iida think about everything they talked about, he lets the idea grow inside of him. So that later, maybe one or two months later, Iida willingly comes back to THEM. Iida can’t see the world the way he used to, Shigaraki’s words fuelled his thoughts and now he can’t go back. He wants to act, he wants to join Shigaraki and change the world with him.

AND NOW WE GET DARKER IIDA BUT STILL IIDA HANGING OUT WITH SHIG AND THE FAM, he is their youngest member so he is The Baby. He still talks with his hands a lot and everyone loves it. Toga and him actually really get along because they’re both always easily excited and they’re close in age so they can talk about stuff. He has some beef with Spinner at thirst because of the whole … Stain issue, they kind of fight a lot or ignore each other, but they progressively get closer. Iida always looks at Dabi like “hmmm … he kind of look familiar …….. hmmmmmmm”. He also gets along with Twice and Compress because they all have the same excited/extra energy so they just!!! Talk with their hands a lot!!! And talk about things!!!

Even though he is 16 and a villain, Iida still has big mom energy, so he really looks for Shig, especially after Kurogiri gets arrested. The two are very close because Iida feels like he owes him a lot. I just love my faces getting along.

1. what’s your favourite kind of weather?

i love autumn weather, when it’s windy and kinda cold so you need a big coat or jacket, when the sky is grey and it hasnt rained so it’s nice and dry. that or snow, proper snow. though i am enjoying the sunshine at the moment.

2. if i offered you free travel & accommodation anywhere in the world, where would you go?

new york city, because i am a basic bitch and i’ve always loved the idea of new york city.

3. who’s your favourite comedian?

if you’d asked me a year ago it would have been bo burnham, now it’s john mulaney. not to say that i have stopped loving bo burnham, it’s just that bo is now doing movies so he’s probably just going to become one of my favourite filmmakers instead. also i have been watching s o m u c h john mulaney lately and it’s brilliant

4. if you could bring back one piece of outdated technology as retro, what would you choose and why?

flip/slide phones! i had a pink samsung e250 and i loved it. if i was nervous i used to slide it up and down as a fidget and i loved texting on it. everything about it was so simple and i miss having a phone that you could only text on. dont get me wrong, i love my pixel, but simple phones are the shit.

5. going to an art gallery or going to the theatre?

go to the theatre! i wish i could go to the theatre more! if i was in new york and monied i would be trying to see everything on broadway i just think there’s nothing like it.

6. who was your first celebrity crush?

david tennant. i still adore him.

7. what was your favourite holiday/trip as a kid?

we went to seattle in june of 2006 for my mum’s best friend’s wedding (she’s also my brother’s godmother). just a generally great holiday and somewhere i’d love to go back to.

8. do you prefer realistic or fantastical fiction?

depends on my mood, like im more likely to read something fantastical, but i will watch either.

9. how many bones have you broken in your body?

confirmed? zero. suspected? one toe after i accidentally kicked a microwave.

i like the smell of vanilla, and i love the smell of lavender. i think the smell of a waterstones is pretty amazing, though.

i wanna say a day in the park but it has to be a park in like, the city because fuck knows i hate bugs.
