while she is all about the Burando, her first lolita dresses were actually homemade

she never approached the topic of gender with her parents. they arent actually transphobic, just ignorant, and would support her if she came out to them. but she never did

she secretly attended underground gambling rings in girlmode at night under the pseudonym celeste, attended school in boymode during the day

parents had no idea, but could tell she was growing distant from them and that she was hiding something

"celeste" was her pokerface, the projected confidence needed to win a poker game. she was enamoured with the romance and drama in the mystery surrounding her, and wanted that more than anything

she saved gambling wins till she had enough to survive alone, and ran away without a trace or explanation

without hiding from parents she was able to be more elaborate, play up the character, rise to the top, and gain her cutthroat reputation

in a happier, non despair universe, as she became more vulnerable with people, she would reconnect with how happy making clothes made her, and sew more

for her closest friends, she would even make them clothing as gifts (with a lolita or ouji flair, if she could get away with it)
