#yes i know this is ooc #Fucked up dabi's jacket on the first page but im not fixing that shit lol #the cover took at long to make as an entire comic page #also can you tell what pages i drew first based on how i get better at drawing the mha style #at least i feel like i can see that #my fav panel is the younger brother cold read one #its the last one i drew #mha dabi #touya todoroki #tw domestic violence #my hero acedamia #this is the art tag #boku no hero fanart #also i started reading MHA because i matched 1:1 with shiggy on every personality test (MBTI enneagram rulen shit like that)#and was looking on a personality databse for what character matched me to most #add mha to the list of series in which the good side are those seeking to preserve the status quo and the villains are people with #legit grievances and a desire to make society better but then have the villains inexplicably like. fight children so we know they are bad #and the end resolution is that society is fine and everything was an individual problem not a systematic one #also fuck endeavor redemption arc #and while enji may SAY it doenst matter if hes forgivven the story SHOWS that it does matte #In the manga Shoto literally explicitly says that if he didn't forgive Enji then he would be as bad as Dabi #and Deku says that what enji did in the past donest matter cause he was nice to him #and the only thing Natsu says against endeavor is that he neglected his kids when thats literally the least of his crimes #and while people see this as a Get Endeavor moment the way the whole arc is framed you're supposed to see Natsu as unresonable #it's why hes shown to be angry and hitting walls and endevor is perfectly calm #the narrative of the story brushes all the truly awful shit away and pretends like it didnt happen #i seriously doubt the fact the Endeavor human trafficked his wife then beat her to the point she was afraid of her own kids for looking like #him will ever be adressed #Rei literally bowed in apology to Hawks for what Touya did shes treated like shit by the narrative #also the fact that Deku explicitly states that none of the shit Enji did in the past mattered because he was a good mentor is such bullshit

Some Merlina rough reference/studies for myself for a little thing I’d like to try.

I have to admire how casual Sonic is with Breezie. Bro knows how Breezie is, yet he is just truly being kind and whatnot. And Breezie immediately used their arrival there as a way to cash in. She wants da big cash, guys!

Amy is IMMEDIATELY overprotective, and Tails is EFFECTIVELY wary. Both of them don't trust Breeezie or anyone there, but just look at Sonic smiling and acting all casual! Like, bro is completely fine with it, lmao!

Little Autistic Bro is trying to find any danger, and Overprotective Fangirl is trying her best to find out if her idol is going to get hurt! The two are just full-on, like: "We don't trust Breezie, and we never will."

For the record, I do remember reading this issue, but not much. Post-SGW Archie was never my thing, but it's funny to see this again.

2. Jason dies (New Titans 55)

Dick: "Bruce never called to tell me what happened to Jason. He didn’t know I was half-way across the universe, but he didn’t even leave a message on my machine. If Danny hadn’t found out... Blast him. Why didn’t he call me?"

3. Bruce picks Jean-Paul Valley as the next Batman (Robin 13)

Dick: "You left Tim alone with a lunatic. The kid could have been killed." Bruce: "There wasn't time." Dick: "No time to pick up a phone? No time to call me? ... I thought there was one guy who'd have faith in me. But when it comes down to the test, you picked someone else to succeed you."

4. Alfred quits after Bruce's back gets broken in Knightfall (Nightwing: Alfred's Return)

Dick: "Bruce didn't send me. I came because I'd like to know why the guy who's been like a father to me suddenly upped and split without a word! Because my best friend has been gone for months - the Bahamas, Antarctica, England - and I didn't even get a call! Not even a postcard!"

5. Donna's son dies (Teen Titans Vol. 2 12)

#dick ''JUST CALL ME AND ASK FOR HELP DAMN IT'' grayson #also dick: *does not pick up his phone when roy keeps calling after donna dies*#*tries to hide and then straight-up run away from tim in the aftermath of blockbuster*#dick grayson #anyway the wally plotline is something else flash comics are bonkers you guys #at wally's 1st wedding his wife gets kidnapped & everyone forgets she exists #later they remember and have an impromptu second wedding!#another time he got replaced by a different Flash from another dimension #and that Flash pretended to be him for a while and was in the Titans and it unnerved Dick who wasn't sure if Wally set it up on purpose #you might be thinking ''come on Dick - Wally would never do that''- but wellllll /probably/ he wouldn't but it's hard to say #after Linda miscarries Wally gets the Specter to mindwipe his secret ID from everybody #but then uh oh Wally forgot too! - but then he remembers! - so he tells Linda so she'll remember!#so she's understandably kinda freaked-out that he messed with her mind albeit w good intentions and she needs some space #and then Wally goes and reminds Clark who he is and then reminds Dick who he is #anyway i feel like Dick's frustration with him here is very legit and so is Linda's though in Wally's defense #he was extremely upset by the Zoom-attack-induced miscarriage #and going to the Specter for help is not *quite* as dumb as it sounds because the Specter used to be the hero Hal Jordan #and Hal Jordan was buddies with Barry Allen the previous Flash #anyway later on there's time chaos and the miscarried twins get born after all!!#so it all works out in the end #anyway my conclusion is that if you had the misfortune to become a speedster you just gotta get used to zany adventures #hoc scripsi
