Dex and Max and ZEX! And DAX I'm sure ZEX misses him so badly#In a way it was good that I had a bit more time to set it down and come back - I reread it very recently hehe <3#I still get teary at some scenes ah </3 It's so beautifully sad#But it also gave me some time to finish ZEX starting to shape the word ''Max'' and then back off it ahhhh it hurts!!#The rest were at least all lined at the time - came back in to tone some recently but they were all ''finished'' October 1st ah#Especially of Dex waking ZEX to call him by his title hhh they both just want peace so badly but it looks so different to both of them#Lingering on his scar and then carding through his hair <3 Comfort and softness and it's all not enough#His scar is quite fun to draw as well ah - scars tend to be like that haha ♪ The stitches and discolouration give it a unique look!#And the way his hair pulls back from it ah#I had a lot of fun with his hair hiding his bandaged eye as well - just barely peeking out always just enough of a reminder#And all his lying-down poses - his hair is fun to pose like that as well#One of the original Landel doodles of ZEX talking about what Hell would look like for a VUX really struck me as well#Dex can't help him in so many ways ehn </3 He wants to! But he wants Max and he just can't have him anymore#Hhhh it was such a good read <3 <3 <3 Thank you again to Zarla it really made and still makes me happy to read it ahhh ♥♪#Now that I've (finally!) gotten my thoughts out I can read the other!! Yay!!

Wow, the cats are so hard to choose from! ;0;
Going based off of aesthetic, I love Mirage the most. The celestial vibes she gives off is gorgeous, and her color palette is soothing. I also love how Asch was embarrassed seeing her, and even seemed to grow softer around her. I wish that was played more in to, instead of just having "silly cat moments" to break tension (though those moments were good too, I did love Mirage's and Johnny's dynamic so much).
Speaking of Johnny, classic housecat vibes. What isn't there to love about him? Though, very intelligent as well, surprisingly so for a regular housecat. Is he actually an Earth Spirit? Is he just a silly little guy? Who knows! But one thing we do know is that he knew to tell Noi to bring specifically "Tylenoi" (as the Daemos cast calls it), which if it's anything like the irl variant, is a fever reducer. But that can be deduced to "Oh, owner is sick, I will help bring the thing I see her use during these times". I just find that very funny. Though he isn't my topmost cat, however he is my second.
I'm not sure if I am to count Zex due to his cat form we seem him in throughout the series until the last few episodes, but absolutely not with this cat man. I heard him "meow" the first time and about had a hiccupping fit due to being caught SO off-guard with and laughing so hard at his mockery of batman voice. Granted, with the nature of MID, I'm sure that was pretty much the joke with him. Edgy batman (or in his case, edgy catman).
TLDR: Mirage is the winner of my heart due to celestial aesthetics alone. Zex is a crazy edgy catman.

Zex is the leader of Hell. She is menacing, dangerous, and a cold-hearted leader who has one goal in mind: To obtain the Silverwing Quill.

The Silverwing Quill is a powerful artifact, and if she were to get her hands on it, she would be an unstoppable force throughout the world of Crystalga. To get this, she will stop anyone in her way, including the current wielder of the Silverwing Quill: Chris the Zorua.

In many ways, Zex and Chris the Zorua are enemies to one another. But, nothing has stopped them from having a truce every once in a while to face a common foe. Though, it's always almost guaranteed that they will face each other again, and again, and again...

It took being denied the Silverwing Quill by the goddess Velouria and getting struck by a truck that ended her fairly decent life and sent her down a path of doom and despair. And yet, even after reaching her goal as leader of Hell, there was one who could change her life even more, and maybe for the better...

Talon. A character created and owned by EmeraldKamala, Talon gave Zex a chance to rule Soslia by his side, and Zex eventually accepted. But, even though she may rule Soslia alongside Talon, she still has a deep hatred for Chris the Zorua and will stop at nothing to make sure the Silverwing Quill is in her hands one day. But, until that time, she can always be sure that Talon, her lover, is by her side... all the time.
Or, you know, until Zex eventually gives up. But, when's that gonna happen? Ha ha...

#Doodles#SCII#DAX#ZEX#Does anyone still use RnR lol#I think I was a little too late for that but in my brief stint on FF.net I did get a couple reviews so *shruggles*#ANYway lol#The topic of VUX poetry came up and it would not leave me alone#But at the same time it is so hard to English-phoneticize VUK ZIX into my preferred poetry method!#So I gave up and went with a playground chant lol#I also wasn't sure which direction it would be read in apart from bottom-up :0#Japanese is top-down right-to-left so maybe it's inverse?? I don't know!#That's what I went with this time anyhow lol#Also making up rules on the spot lol - ''a'' is always contextually inferred by its surroundings#Have I thought about the implications of inferred subject/singular vs. plural phrasing? No! Give me some time tho ♪#Lol#I have also pretty firmly come to the conclusion that -ing sounds just aren't a thing lol#At least not written and not comfortably spoken#You could force the sound but it's exactly what it says on the tin - forced#So the rhyme-scheme is a bit funny haha - that rhyme doesn't translate at all! But it is still fun to write a little ship-poem hehe#ZEX does not approve but it's not his poem is it! Tentacles to yourself! Don't stick your trunk where it's not wanted!#I do love when DAX is silly and lovestruck haha
