Just finished building the iconic LEGO Architecture Seattle Space Needle and I'm feeling sky high! This detailed model perfectly captures the futuristic charm of the landmark. Major props to the designers for all the clever building techniques. Thinking about adding it to my collection or maybe it deserves a special spot on its own?

hebe cabin headcanons
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
children of hebe
• the younger they are, the easier they are to trace. this is due to their mother being the goddess of youth.
• they are very forgiving, compassionate, and understanding individuals. they have this aura of kindness that often makes them the best people to talk to about personal problems.
• they’re the innocent one in the friend group.
• they have celestial bronze legos that they scatter in front of barefoot monsters.
• baby faces. all of them.
• they all have naturally clear skin.
• they find "anti-aging" skin creams so amusing. they all the real way to stay youthful forever, and it’s a lot less pleasant than slapping lotion onto your face.
• they 100% run a skincare business with the aphrodite cabin.
• none of them are american.
• they all speak different languages but they’re all able to understand each other.
• it’s the same way babies can seemingly talk and understand each other. even if there are differences, they still seem to share a deep innate language with each other.
• they’re the embodiment of a healed inner child.
• you know those people in the hospitality industry who are, like, scary good at their job?
• like the hotel concierge, or maître d’hotel, or wedding planner who runs the tightest ship you’ve ever seen, and can provide services for their customers that don’t even seem possible?
• those are the children of hebe.
• they’d also make really good servers, bartenders, and plastic surgeons.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
cabin exterior
• the cabin is adorned with a variety of fresh flowers, growing in beds around the cabin or hanging in baskets. they also feature hebe shrubs (named after their mother).
• the architecture incorporates playful and youthful design elements, such as carvings of children and decorations of butterflies, and birds.
• small fountains of water surround the cabin, adding a sense of freshness and continuous renewal. the sound of trickling water could create a calming and rejuvenating atmosphere. there is a big one right in front of the entrance that represents the fountain of youth.
• a statue of their mother, hebe, stands near the entrance, she’s holding a chalice as she did in mythology, symbolizing her role as the cupbearer to the gods.
• a wide, welcoming porch with comfortable seating invite campers to relax and enjoy the youthful energy that the cabin exudes. the porch is decorated with cozy cushions and potted plants.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
cabin interior
• lots of pastels, stained glass, curtains, but still a very comfortable and welcoming area. they also have a huge vending machine in the cabin.
• the cabin is constantly filled with the scent of blossoms and fresh grass, giving it a perpetually fresh and lively feel.
• since hebe is associated with youth and beauty, there are elegant vanity tables with ornate mirrors. these mirrors have a subtle magical quality, enhancing the viewer’s best features.
• the furniture is cozy and inviting, with plush couches and bean bags. the beds are adorned with soft, fluffy blankets and pillows, making it a perfect place for relaxation and rest.
• there's a dedicated space for physical fitness and wellness activities. this includes yoga mats, light weights, and an assortment of health and beauty products.
• they have a collection of vintage items and keepsakes from different eras. they include old-fashioned toys, games, and memorabilia that evoke nostalgia.
• they have a small fountain in the center of their cabin. the water has minor rejuvenating properties, offering a sense of refreshment and renewal to anyone who drinks from it.
Tumblr media
cabin traditions
• every morning, they start their day with a refreshing drink of ambrosia-infused water. i headcanon that the infused water acts as caffeine for them.
• once a week, they host a game night featuring classic childhood games, like tag, hopscotch, and hide-and-seek.
• each member of the cabin dedicates one day each month to perform acts of kindness and service around the camp, helping to spread positive energy and support among fellow campers.
• they have a jar inside of their cabin where they can drop notes about happy moments or achievements. at the end of the summer, they read through the notes to reflect on their growth and experiences.
• regular arts and crafts sessions where they make bracelets, charms, and other small items symbolizing youth and vitality, often gifting these to other campers as tokens of friendship.

What r your thoughts on each Futuristic Four member 👀👀👀 (i am holding back a flood of excitement i like ur art btw)
WAHHH thank you I am also very excited. I have soo many thoughts. More under the cut
Violet
- I am totally unbiased abt her she totally isn’t my favourite incredibles character. I totally didn’t basically kin her when I was little
- also her speech about like “the government only gives rich people a slap on the wrist and lets them go” like girl the second supers get legalised you work for the government!! your mom works for a billionaire!! Do you know that?
- down to some headcanons. I think she’s very much the voice of reason in the four, between both of the boys being kinda impulsive and penny just eager to do things, someone has to make sure they don’t blow themselves up. She’s the only eldest child amongst the four and it heavily shows, half the time she looks like this:
Tumblr media
- that said she isn’t above the mischief they all get up to, she likes being able to relax and not think with reason for a wee bit as long as it doesn’t cause mass destruction. She’s the logical friend but she isn’t like the mom friend or anything like that.
- she’s also the tank which is funny considering she looks like a twig but those shields + two traumatic experiences sure do a lot in terms of fighting skills.
- I also think she involves her life the least in the sphere of the four. she has a decent social life at home and she almost sees the four as an extension of her hero life rather than her personal life, they don’t know anything about tony and have never interacted with dash and Jack jack, maybe one time one of them interacted with her parents but it wasn’t what she wanted. this might cause problems down the line.
- she’s a very musical girlie, I definitely stole this from someone else but her friends like dropping off vintage vinyl in their homes to her since she doesn’t like buying them herself and she’s very much a teenager with music blaring from her room but it’s like. The Beatles or something instead of my chemical romance. until it IS my chemical romance because penny drops off one of her old cd players and you know violet would THRIVE with early y2k pop rock and it only gets better when Wilbur donates his mom and dad’s old cd collections. this ends up with her having insane taste, half franny’s broadway tracks, electro swing and emo phase and half lewis’ lonely island and weezer tracks
- she also very much is an “acts of service” kinda affectionate for her friends. She’s the tallest so she grabs things from high shelves, opens jars, luges things around the lab for Hiro, organises Penny’s stuff for her sometimes, definitely helps organise Wilbur’s space cause it’s a mess etc.
- oh and. idk if you wanted lgbt headcanons but. bi violet. she learns what it from one of the others (probably Hiro considering his friends are a fruit salad) and is like “OHHHH that makes sense.”
Wilbur
- there’s something wrong with him. I fully believe that it is not the future that is Like That but in fact just the Robinsons that are Like That and that becomes more believable when you realise most of the weirder robinsons’ family members were kids, teens and young adults right between y2k and now. They are pretty much eccentric rich people, but like morally good.
- he’s not much of an engineer or inventor like his dad but is actually way more artsy like his mom, but instead of music he likes model making and Lego like stuff. he’s thinking of studying architecture when he’s older though he’s pretty unsure of his path forward in life in general. He’s only a kid.
- in general actually he’s pretty unsure of himself, often dotting back from interest to interest, whim to whim until it doesn’t interest him. 99% sure he has adhd tbh but surprisingly he doesn’t struggle with things like school, but more with his sense of identity, he cannot define himself properly quite often and is constantly driven to find a purpose in life, since both of his parents knew who they were rather early in life and as he gets older this is just a more stressful prospect to him. He is very loud and boisterous to make up for this
- so as can be expected, the adventure that landed him to meet the others was just a whim that stuck. And maybe he feels guilty for that but he’s happy it happened.
- he’s very much the kinda teenager boy who sees himself as invulnerable and he often is the one who creates humiliatingly dangerous scenarios the other three have to save him from. Sadly, none of these saves have halted his own belief in his invulnerability, but instead made him wanna reach greater heights of almost dying. at least he’s pushing his friends’ limits, both power wise and nerve wise.
- I headcanon he didn’t really do school, more like a private tutor, as the youngest in his entire family and only child he very much is the kinda kid who’s best friend is one of his uncles or his cousins. No, he doesn’t let any of the others come around to his, his parents would kill him, does he steal the Time Machine to visit at least one of them at least ONCE a day, of COURSE what ELSE will he do all day??
- to no ones surprise, he’s very much the distraction of the group, a master of distracting people as much as himself so Hiro and violet can GET em. It’s how he makes up for being the one who starts most of the fights.
- definitely organises group dnd sessions that he dms and when he gets bored he sculpts their characters for funsies. he has 10k+ word docs worth of lore.
- speaking of which, loves giving gifts, usually little models and projects he makes.
Hiro
- he is the most social member of the group but it was not his decision, he inherited his brother’s friend group of full grown adults and I’m not entirely sure if he would be socially conscious enough to keep up with the four if not for everyone wanting him to finally have friends his own age. It’s not that he doesn’t like any of his friends, in fact he loves a lot of people pretty easily, it’s just that he gets dragged down in his personal projects so much that he maybe struggles to put in effort a wee bit sometimes.
- he is also the main host for hangouts, in his workshop or the cafe because the other four can poke around too much in his bedroom and he doesn’t really like anyone going near tadashi’s part of the room or messing around with his “order” of things, aka the mess he understands.
- it was priority one after they all become besties that he design supersuits for them, he especially liked the challenge of actually working and amplifying violet’s power while creating abilities for penny and wilbur. for penny he of course included bolt as well, copying a lot of the tech shown in the movie to make them a tag team duo with matching coloured armour while wilbur he just gave green lantern construct thingies. He gave them these as a gift and sadly none of them get a lot of use out of them but they appreciate it none the less and he enjoyed the project A LOT.
- he is also very much a gift giver, he’s not good with words so effort is the best he can show.
- he’s a little bit hypocritical in that if he gets hurt he’s very stubborn with baymax’s attempts to heal him but if ANY of his friends get even a scratch on them he’s pushing Baymax on them like “no no, get that cleaned up. get a bandaid. come on. Don’t fight him about it.” With his arms crossed
- he felt so awkward when he introduced the six to the four. they got along great, besides some lingering awkwardness and Fred’s joking attempt at a rivalry but he couldn’t help but feel like SOMETHING was gonna go wrong at every turn. He was surprised in fact to see them get along so well.
- Hiro often acts as the secondary fighter for them all, most of the time when he’s with them he doesn’t have access to Baymax so he just tries his best with armour and it’s small amount of gear.
- he’s the one who gets talked into doing dumb things for the sake of doing them. He doesn’t have the teenage boy invulnerability of Wilbur, more like the scientific mind that wants to do the most dangerous version of every test on mythbusters. He always has Baymax on stand by, his fatal flaw is just thinking that will always be enough.
- oh and just as a wee add on, I like to imagine him as autistic and aroace. And maybe trans, mostly because the idea of Baymax doing t-shots is fun to me.
Penny
- probably my biggest character change, cause penny is a wee bit nothing in the original movie. Not her choice really but there are things to expand on which I do. I know one of the more common things to do is make penny an actual secret agent like she in her show but I think it’s funnier for her to just be like. a retired child actor who hangs out with a bunch of superheroes and geniuses by accident. She is just a guy.
- But she is a very traumatised guy, between the fire incident and just y’know- being a child star for a semi Disney coded network, she’s got some stuff going on. Mainly breathing problems and some panic attacks. Thankfully, Bolt is a very job-oriented dog so with acting out of the picture, they had him trained up as a therapy animal which of course he does amazingly and diligently. Her mom moving them onto a farm was also very much a part of this, the clean air and work she thought would be good for her.
- She’s just now adjusting to being a more regular child, having acted for a long time, and is on the path back into integrating into school but she has yet to make any friends, especially not her own age. She’s often stuck at home so she’s very welcoming to her friends’ visits to her as it eats up her time.
- Penny’s place is the most common hangout spot for all of them as it’s just her, her mom and the animals and a lot of room to do whatever they want. Penny is always find with them being around and actively makes attempts to keep em around as long as possible so she doesn’t go stir crazy, week long sleepovers in summer and stuff like that.
- She also likes how if she travels to any of their own time period, she doesn’t have to deal with the fear of paparazzi and gossip tabloids and that’s probably why she’d rather travel to San Fransokyo for anything like buying a toothbrush or a snack rather than drive down the road.
- Treats Baymax like a pet quite often, petting him and calling him a good boy just out of habit, the others find it funny but she always gets embarrassed.
- she’s the healer of the group, when Baymax isn’t around, and Bolt acts as an attack dog part time. she gets panicked a lot by seeing her friends hurt so running in with a medkit to clean them up is always her top priority. She hides it well but it stresses her out when hiro and violet aren’t around cause she’s worried they’ll get grievously injured in battle.
- she’s also big on words of affirmation, team hypeman to the extreme. She cares about her friends a whole lot and she will tell them exactly why with no excuse or insecurity allowed. This doesn’t go over well most of the time considering violet and hiro can’t handle compliments and wilbur will soak it in with way too wide a grin.

Can I Follow You Home? - Loyalist Primarch Ver. (Modern AU)
If you ask Can I Follow You Home...
*: Character design from #projectepd, see character design pics here: ☆
Sanguinius
He usually gets up early, so he might be awake if you visit him in the morning. He'll answer the door wearing a white shirt, with a faintly visible red stone pendant hooked inside his collar, and he'll have on a pair of white disposable slippers—like the ones you'd find in hotel. He might be holding a coffee pot or his favorite mug, usually filled with capsules or instant coffee as he hasn't learned to grind his own yet. He wonder if you want sugar when you ask for a cup.
Through the foyer, you can roughly see the living room, decorated in pure white and beige, with only a few wooden shelves on the walls that seem out of place. He nailed them up himself to display the precious first works of his offspring—though simple and bearing the marks of immature craftsmanship, they're treasures to Sanguinius.
If you peek further inside, he might have to move aside some unsorted art books and magazines scattered on the sofa and coffee table. They become more numerous near the workshop area, where various painting materials and unfinished sculptures are displayed, giving the room a complex yet traditional look. It not only boasts excellent lighting but also great natural light. When there are no other visitors, Sanguinius usually paints or sculpts here. And if a visitor delicately asks to see his collection, he'll gladly lend them rare art books and explain them carefully.
Leaving the workshop, you'll notice that the decor and style of the house are quite different from the studio. The modern minimalist architecture doesn't exude much of a lived-in feel, and apparently, the fridge used to be just a fridge with hardly any groceries inside, but now it seems to have become richer due to the occasional visits from Horus and the other brothers. A is considering having the creative department make new commemorative fridge magnets for the Red Tear Modern, perhaps to help organize the messages and notes left on the fridge.
Rogal Dorn
He rises extremely early, arguably the earliest of all. Therefore, it's quite hard to disturb him; typically, by this time, he's already wide awake and seated at the table with a complete breakfast. This breakfast remains consistent year after year, with roasted beans, eggs, sausages, and toasted bread on the plate, neatly arranged. However, you might notice that his table salt and black pepper shakers are in the shape of LEGO bricks. By the way, there's an entire LEGO brick wall in his house—constructed into the pattern of Phalanx, magnificent and impressive in terms of both wealth and technology.
When you point out the monotony of his menu, he'll earnestly argue that he changes the type of eggs depending on the day—whether it's scrambled, poached, Benedict, or fried—but his accompaniment is always black coffee. He's someone who eats without distractions, solely focused on his meal. Therefore, after finishing breakfast, he'll browse through messages from Malcador and others, and reply before heading out.
After his meal, he rinses his mouth, then remotely opens the car door to prepare for his journey to the Imperial Fist Co. As they say, "the early bird catches the worm."
And if you visit Dorn in the evening, you might catch a glimpse of him working in the kitchen. The reason it's called "working" is because his state and movements hardly qualify as cooking; it's more like precision operation. Dorn uses various kitchen measuring tools to meticulously measure ingredients and follows authoritative cookbooks to prepare meals. Honestly, he despises descriptions like "a cup of water," "a pinch of salt," or "some olive oil," and sometimes wonders how Guilliman, who also values precise calculation, manages at these times. This brother's culinary skills are also well-regarded. However, while the food Dorn makes may not be unpleasant, it can probably be classified as ordinary, with its nutritional value being the only commendable aspect.
Roboute Guilliman
Guilliman, like his Loyalist brothers, wakes up earlier than most people. His alarm clock settings are very detailed, but he usually doesn't really need them because he always wakes up promptly half an hour before the alarm goes off, then manually shuts it off. He has a very meticulous way of making his bed, almost making it look like a hotel or military dormitory bed.
So if you visit his residence, where he lives with Lion, at this time, he'll most likely think you're a neighbor coming to complain or a postal worker delivering subscriptions—yes, even though Guilliman and his subordinates have fully transitioned to paperless offices, his roommate Lion still maintains the most classical habit of subscribing to physical magazines. He can tell at a glance whether you're a paparazzo coming to snoop around for gossip, and for the general public, he'll briefly answer questions within his duties and tell you to look for more in-depth answers on the Parliament's website.
After dealing with the morning troubles, it's usually time for Lion to rise—this isn't consistent, so you should pray you don't encounter this or at least not during their breakfast time. Because that often means a thorough critique of British cuisine and—family commotion, and this struggle never seems to have a winner.
During breakfast, Guilliman usually reads today's loyalist-supporting newspapers on an electronic screen, and when something big happens, he needs to wear headphones to reply promptly while eating. Office work begins at this time and continues until the end of the day. Lion dislikes this very much, so usually, when they have meals together, these matters are temporarily set aside.
Lion El'Jonson
Lion doesn't welcome visitors, so we can only talk about his daily routine at the beginning of the day. Although he wakes up early, his waking time isn't consistent. He still uses a traditional alarm clock, but he often breaks it by hitting it when he wakes up grumpy. Sometimes this happens in the middle of the night, triggered by noises like car sounds outside, a habit ingrained by years of battlefield experience. If you see his bed in disarray, it's very likely that his dreams weren't pleasant that night.
The first thing Lion usually does after waking up is to wash and shave. He uses a shaving lotion and aftershave with scents reminiscent of traditional formulas, and he still sticks to using a razor blade. His technique is extremely precise, and he demands high standards of grooming. After completing his preparations, he selects his clothes for the day—simple for everyday wear, but quite elaborate for important occasions. He has a separate box in his wardrobe for all his honors and medals.
However, at home, he typically wears only two layers in summer and three in winter. This dressing style might be too cold for ordinary people in winter, especially since this old house doesn't have underfloor heating (though Vulkan is planning to install it for his brothers), so they rely on fireplaces for warmth.
Lion's writing work usually takes place in the study, where the bookshelves contain many first editions or gifts from special collectors. Sometimes he works on a typewriter and then has someone transcribe it into electronic manuscripts for submission to publishers. The study overlooks the garden of the house, which Lion meticulously maintains. His gardening skills are impressive, and if you really want to visit him, you might try asking to see it—after all, as a typical old-fashioned gentleman, perhaps the only thing he wouldn't refuse is appreciation for his gardening work.
Vulkan
Would you like to see his RV? That's definitely a cool idea. And the best way to start is by visiting some specialty takeout restaurants. Pizza, fruit tarts, fried noodles—although the RV has a small but well-equipped kitchen, the high-powered oven is pretty much out of the question. After getting the takeout, Vulkan might enjoy it on the manually extendable steps of the RV, a hearty meal perfect for sharing.
This RV is sized to match his physique, looks a bit old but is well maintained. Its painted surface gleams with the logo of Salamanders Heavy Industries, and both front and rear have been modified to suit off-road camping and other activities. Of course, these designs and facilities were all done by Vulkan himself.
If you'd like to tour the interior of the RV, he'd be delighted! It's a bit cluttered inside, with various repair tools hanging on the walls or stored in cabinets. A small built-in sofa bed is placed under the windows, enough for one person to lie down. But for Vulkan, he needs to unfold the sofa bed to sleep. The climate control system inside the RV keeps the winter nights from being too cold, but it can get a bit warm in the summer. Besides design drawings, there are also some promotional posters on the walls, including one from the Raven Guards band, probably left by Corax during his last visit.
Notably, the RV's interior even has a small bathroom, which is a bit too small even for Vulkan. He only takes a shower inside when he's in inconvenient locations like remote wilderness areas. Because the bathroom is so small, towels, toothbrushes, and cups are all crammed onto the same shelf. The larger portion of the storage space is reserved for emergency equipment and first aid kits, which are regularly maintained or replaced. And if there are any special circumstances encountered during trips to remote areas, he always goes all out to help lost travelers.
Vulkan is usually behind the wheel, enjoying the beautiful natural scenery through the wide windows. If you're invited to try sitting in the passenger seat, it'll be a fantastic travel experience.
Corvus Corax
Corax's home is a rented modern apartment, and if you enter it, you'll be captivated by the mesmerizing city night view from the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. However, unfortunately, it seems he didn't have much preference for the location of the house and didn't do any prior research, so he ended up renting a place next to a construction site where the developer had abandoned midway. It's quiet, indeed, but the sight of unfinished walls and debris below is quite amusing. Yet, as night falls, ignoring the dilapidated surroundings, you can see the distant city lights twinkling like fireflies.
Though it's a rented place, because of the long-term lease and signing agreements, a single room has been partitioned off and soundproofed to high standards for use as a home recording studio. If there's a live stream or online recording, Corax works here. However, most of the time, he performs outside or goes to collaborate in recording studios.
Sometimes he comes home in stage attire, which looks a bit too gothic or visual kei, even eerie at night, and he's gotten into trouble because of it. Upon returning home, he changes into loose sweaters and solid-colored pants, and fixes himself a cup of black cocoa. Sometimes he forgets to remove the accessories from his multiple ear piercings until just before bedtime.
The living room is a bit messy and could use some tidying up. His sheet music, guitar picks, poetry collections, and philosophical readings might be piled on the sofa or stacked next to the cushions. Across from it is a wide 41-inch screen, with a stack of unopened concert Blu-ray samples underneath. Corax isn't good at taking care of plants, and the only splash of green in the house is a small cactus, thankfully still alive. His house doesn't have the metallic vibe of a band's visual plan; instead, it looks more like an ordinary nine-to-five worker's humble abode.
Corax's bedroom is slightly darker than the other rooms, with only a breathing lamp. The curtains are made of thick blackout material, and once they're drawn, it's nearly pitch black inside, perfect for sleeping through doomsday. His bedding is black and gray, and once he starts sleeping, the only light in the whole space comes from the digital clock on the breathing lamp.
Leman Russ
Russ's home—honestly, most people have no concept of it. Very few know that he does indeed have a longhouse cabin in Tromsø. If you visit there in winter, skiing is a must-do activity, but be sure to stay safe and not get fooled into actually mountaineering or seeking out ice fields by him.
The cabin is made of wood and is nestled in the mountains far from the resorts, almost making one wonder if it's the gathering place of legendary snow monsters or werewolves. Although it looks simple from the outside, it's fully equipped with all the necessary amenities and living facilities inside. The most noteworthy feature is the cellar below, where the stored wines range from mead and rum to many other rare varieties. Those brewed by the wild wolves are kept in huge wooden barrels, aged through the years, and the unique aroma of the barrels, frost, fruits, and fermented liquor is a rare specialty in the world, reputedly praised even by Malcador.
At the other end of the house, there's an essential sauna room. Here, not only can you enjoy sauna baths, but also wooden barrel baths. For Russ, enjoying a drink after sweating it out is truly heavenly—although if you don't have his robust physical constitution, it's best not to attempt it lightly.
The rest of the facilities in the house are quite simple, and due to its unique location, there are some necessary first aid kits stored for people exploring the nearby mountains. Although he no longer works as an emergency rescuer or special forces personnel, Russ still doesn't overlook the dangers nature might bring to others.
Ferrus Manus
You might need to apply for a visit to Ferrus's workshop. When he's busy working, he takes breaks in the adjacent room, and over time, he probably spends more time here than in his residence.
It's a room he's isolated for himself, where you can see various astonishing mechanical diagrams and test prototypes. Many movie prop prototypes even serve as everyday items directly, like a hammer-shaped model used as a toilet paper holder, which is quite amusing. The room's systems are interconnected with the entire workshop, allowing for real-time monitoring and retrieval of images and test scenes for tracking. Even the smart systems are integrated, with automatic sensor operations for lighting control, room temperature, dehumidification, and more.
Ferrus usually spends his time here resting, and when he wakes up, he goes straight back to the workshop. So if you knock on this concealed door, chances are you won't see him in his usual attire with mechanical arms, dressed in workwear for testing; instead, he'll be in simple attire, maybe just a work vest.
He rarely cooks, so if he's dining and resting here, it's either takeout or snacks personally delivered by Fulgrim. Of course, the air fresheners, towels, and bedding inside, just by looking at their colors and designs, you can tell they're brought by the latter. This rather narrow living space was originally intended for one person, and if two people squeeze in, neither will be very comfortable.
Jaghatai Khan
If you want to visit Khan's residence, the garage might be the place he frequents the most, rather than the living quarters themselves. The White Scars' garage will completely overturn your perception; it can be considered a factory or even an exhibition hall. Their testing, modifications, and painting all take place here, and Khan can spend days or even weeks here before the modified racing begins. The White Scars' garage is a bustling marketplace, with specific vendors selling their signature barbecue, homemade wine, and cheese, which are delicacies hard to come by elsewhere—though for outsiders, trying them for the first time might be a bit challenging.
Whenever modifications are complete and performance testing is needed, he heads to the special race track areas provided by sponsors. These tracks are often in vast border regions, and as he gets away from the hustle and bustle, Khan's mood always becomes a bit brighter. In these test track areas, there are villas reserved for professional drivers to reside in, but he prefers to set up camp and get close to nature.
If you're invited into his tent, you'll be amazed by its luxurious furnishings and unique aesthetics. There are not only beds but also tasting tables and calligraphy desks. The decor often carries the Chogoris style, with intricately embroidered gold and red threads on exotic-patterned rugs and tablecloths. After work, he might invite you to hop into his vehicle and go see the migration of nearby wildlife, witnessing the changing scenery from the magnificent horizon at sunset to sunrise. No matter how far you travel, as long as you're in his car, you'll always find your way home.

Hangman
Hangman gets you two a few of the botanicals sets. He originally was gonna make them all in his free time to gift to you but you walked in on him making the succulent set and just sat down and started to help him. Eventually it just became a weekend activity for the two of you to do while a movie played in the background. Eventually when you accumulate too many built sets you end up giving them to his nieces and nephews.
Rooster
Rooster loves legos. It's not something he talks about a lot but he really enjoys building the NASA sets with you and talking about all the facts he knows about space. One day while building a spaceship set with him you asked about it and he explained how when he was little him and his dad would build spaceships out of the stray legos he had and for a bit he wanted to be an astronaut.
Phoenix
Pheonix also gets you some of the botanical sets. She loves to give you little lego flowers from time to time. When you build them she mostly just watches you while you build each set. Between the two of you there is quite the collection of stray lego roses scattered across the apartment.
Bob
Bob had a decent lego collection as a kid already so into adult hood he just kept building them. His favorite to build with you are the architecture ones. He's a man that has a lot of knowledge about random things so as you build them he explains historical events or facts about whatever it is you are building. When you two built the New York said he kept mentioning places in the city he had visited and how he couldn't wait till the two of you traveled there together so he could show you all the things he liked in the city.
Fanboy
Y'all are building the Star Wars sets. No question about it. He definitely gets the expensive Millennium Falcon set and tries to hide if from you but one night at around 3am you woke up to go to the bathroom and saw him missing. He was sitting in the living room with a lamp on building the set. He tried to hide it but instead of saying anything you just sat down and began helping him. When you two finished building the set all you did was look at him and say "Can't believe you hid this from me." before walking back to bed.
Payback
Payback doesn't actually build legos. He'd much rather sit back with a cup of coffee or tea and just silently observe you. He'll gladly help you when you are confused or lost from the instructions of the larger sets but other than that he simply enjoys sitting in silence with you and observing you build each set. He likes to see the smile on your face once you finish each set.
Coyote
Coyote doesn't buy his own legos but sometimes Fanboy gives him a few sets so he likes to build them with you when he's got the free time. He honestly doesn't even really look at the sets when Fanboy gives them to him he just shows up and is like "Hey let's build this." and tosses it onto the table. He just likes to spend quality time with you and enjoys that there is a physical product to put on display to show the time you spent together.
Halo
Halo enjoys the art sets. She never really built any legos as a kid so you are the main reason she started building sets. She'll make you each a cup of tea and sit down at the table with you to build each set while singing along to whatever has been on your playlists recently. If it's a set that allows her to she will gladly hang them on the walls around your houese.
Fritz
Much like Payback, Fritz doesn't really build the sets and simply observes you building them. He does occasionally help you build some like the Batman set you got he helped build since he really enjoys Batman. Most of the time he'll have a movie on in the background while he is watching you build each set.
Omaha
Omaha is another big fan of Star Wars and him and Fanboy definitely send each other photos of all their lego sets. He only got into legos when he met Fanboy so he has always built them with someone and never alone. He actually doesn't like building alone because he is so used to having someone with him. Even if he is super excited about a set, if you are busy, he will wait specifically till you have free time to even open the box and look inside. He loves to be wrapped up in a blanket with you and sitting on the living room floor together building the different sets.
Yale
Yale likes the Harry Potter sets. He has a lot of memories associated with the movies from when he was a bit younger so those sets always stood out to him. He doesn't have many sets but one time you got him the Hogwarts castle set and he insisted you two build it together while watching the movies. Since then, he always builds the sets he gets with you while watching Harry Potter.
Harvard
Harvard LOVES to help you build the superhero sets. Similar to Fanboy, he probably bought one of the super expensive sets to build but rather than hiding it he proudly walked up to you with the biggest smile on his face asking if you wanted to build it with him over the weekend. He has an entire shelf to display all the sets he has and he puts all the ones the two of you built together in the middle to proudly show them off.

My Experience with Lego Friends
So way back in 2011, when I was but a wee 8ish year old, my mother and I were walking through the Walmart toy aisle. We moved through the girls section and saw this:
Tumblr media
And my mom screamed. No Joke. An employee came over to ask what was wrong and she yelled. "There's Lego's for girls!!!"
That was my first introduction to the franchise/Lego theme. Now I was just as excited as her. Before Friends, I only had one Lego set that Mom had to search extensively for because there weren't really any proper sets for little girls.
So she bought me Lego Friends.
And more Friends.
As a budding Lego lover, I built them. I watched the corresponding TV shows on Netflix. I talked about them with my friends. I received a bunch of sets on my Birthday and Christmas.
A few years later, Lego started to release Disney Princess sets and Lego Elves. While I never got into Elves while they were released (something I regret now that I'm older), I watched the mini movie and series that were released on Netflix.
And then in 2018, Lego rebranded Friends for the first time.
Originally in 2012, Lego Friends advertised a young group of highschool girls and their subsequent adventures in their hometown of HeartLake City. This is what the lineup looked like:
Tumblr media
(From Left to right: Emma, Stephanie, Olivia, Andrea, & Mia
Four white girls and one African American, and an extremely light skinned one.
And the "new" line-up in 2018:
Tumblr media
(From Left to Right: Andrea, Mia, Emma, Stephanie, & Olivia)
One Asian, one one Hispanic, one African American (dark-skinned not light), and two whites.
Now my 12 year old brain was mad about the changes, especially since American Girl (another toy brand I loved) had rebranded one of there lines and honestly, butchered the best parts about the line.
But after someone told me it was wonderful that they were being more inclusive, and after I looked at some of the sets, I came around.
So I continued to collect the sets. I watched the corresponding show on Netflix.
Then January 2023 rolls up, I innocently stroll down the toy aisle at target and see
Tumblr media
"What the hell is this? What's wrong with the logo?" (<- Actual thought from my brain)
After a quick scope around the Friends section, I figure out it's another rebrand. Now, I'm on the fence, holding out judgement.
A few months pass, I see a few new Lego models. A boy in a wheelchair, a girl with half an arm, a girl with Vitiligo. I'm starting to feel hopeful about the rebrand.
However, the core 5 girl squad don't seem to appear as much. So finally, I turn to google like a normal person. And find out that they got rid of the core 5 girl squad and that there's a "New Generation of Friends".
...
Yeah, that ticked me off. The girl squad was my favorite part of the Friends brand.
So after finding this out, I go on a mini-boycott, because apparently, I am still a petulant child when it comes to Legos.
And then around September, I tread into the Lego section of a store for the first time in a while.
And spot a set that has the cutest animal in it. The familiar longing itch to buy a new set returns. My mom approaches me, and we start talking about the rebranded sets. She points out a couple sets with cool architecture.
And I let myself enjoy window shopping for Legos again.
Fast forward to Christmas, I get a set titled HeartLake City Community Center. I haven't built it yet, but I'm looking at the box \/,
Tumblr media
Wait a minute, who's that in the corner? Is that who I think it is?
Tumblr media
IT IS!!!!!! IT'S STEPHANIE!!!!! AND SHE'S THE MAYOR. HAJKSHJKDHKJLSAS
So I make a red string/conspiracy board theory, that this 2nd rebrand of Legos is *literally* the next generation of Friends. Like, the core 5 grew up and these are all the new kids that live in the city.
I bring this up to my parents, and Mom's thinks it's an awesome theory since it's been a decade. The girls should be allowed to grow up and have adult lives.
I don't think much more about it until I'm browsing the Lego store this afternoon for Lego Monkie Kid Sets, and come across a new set titled Andrea's Modern Mansion. Of course I click on it.
(All following pictures are screenshots from the Lego website)

Tumblr media
Wait, what's that in the middle?
Tumblr media
Are those pictures?
Tumblr media
THEY ARE!!!!!!!!!!!
Stephanie and Mia graduating! Family portrait! Andrea with her baby! Olivia and Emma!
That's it. The rebrand has won me over. I love seeing all this later in life core 5.
Stephanie's the Mayor, like her idol from the original show. Andrea's a singer, has won some awards, is married, and has a child.
I can't wait to see what they do with the other girls.
Also, look at the reunion!
Tumblr media
They're doing karaoke! I can't take it.

Ai Weiwei Has Recreated Claude Monet’s Iconic ‘Water Lilies’ Using 650,000 Multi-Colored Lego Bricks
The artist has updated the famous work to include a "dark portal" into his childhood bedroom.
You can construct whole worlds using the building blocks of Lego, but Ai Weiwei has taken things to another level by recreating Monet’s monumental triptych Water Lilies (1914–26). The mammoth undertaking has gone on display at the Design Museum in London ahead of a major new survey opening next month.
One of the French Impressionist’s most famous paintings, which is currently on display at MoMA, the original work depicts the lily ponds at Monet’s beloved gardens in Giverny near Paris, an idyllic scene hazily rendered by his characteristic bold brushstrokes.
In the new medium of Lego, however, it took 650,000 bricks in 22 colors to make, reaching nearly 50 feet in length.
Tumblr media
The result is what the museum calls “a depersonalized language of industrial parts and colors,” with the Lego more suggestive of the pixels through which we often engage with art today, whether the work is natively digital or a photograph shared online.
The artist has added his own touch to the centuries-old composition, inserting a “dark portal” to the right-hand side that leads to the underground dugout that Ai shared with his father while their family was exiled to Xinjiang during the 1960s.
“Our world is complex and collapsing towards an unpredictable future. It’s crucial for individuals to find a personalized language to express their experience of these challenging conditions,” said Ai Weiwei in a statement. “Without a personal narrative, artistic narration loses its quality.”
Tumblr media
“Toy bricks as the material, with their qualities of solidity and potential for deconstruction, reflect the attributes of language in our rapidly developing era where human consciousness is constantly dividing,” he added.
The show will also include Ai’s Untitled (Lego Incident), another new work taking the form of a “field” on the floor made from Lego bricks given to the artist by fans around the world after he posted on Instagram that Lego had temporarily refused to stop letting him bulk order their products to make political artworks. Ai believed the Danish company was hoping to protect its business interests in China, but his post resulted in an international outcry and the toymaker changed its policy.
“Ai Weiwei: Making Sense” is the first exhibition dedicated to Ai’s focus on design and architecture specifically. It opens at the Design Museum in London on April 7 with some of the artist’s best known works alongside a series of five new “fields” filled with objects that he has made or collected. It runs until July 30.

do you have an opinion on legos?
I love them! I don't collect but that's largely a "slippery slope with no bottom" thing and not a lack of interest. They're so fun and have so many new pieces from when I was a kid the things some people build out of them are astonishing! Entire little towns with functioning train tracks, replicas of real-world structures, fantastical architecture, it's so cool and creative.
And of course there's the random stacking and so forth that one does with a child, and that's fun too.
Really can't go wrong with 'em!

8 and 27 for the ask game?:)
Do you collect anything? If so, what?
Not really? I have a lot of things but I'm not like actively collecting something. I have a lot of the LEGO Architecture sets but I quite literally ran out of space for them
Do you have any keychains on your home or car keys? Describe them!
On my normal house keys I just have like an 8 ball key chain. But I have a fuck ton of other keychains lying around, too, I just like to only have one on keys cos otherwise it gets cramped. But I have two Robin Buckley funko keychains, the Family Video outfit, and her finale outfit. And then I have an Eddie playing guitar one as well. I also have two ST one's that's like, the sign when you drive into Hawkins and then the logo for the arcade. I have a few LEGO Star Wars ones - a Stormtrooper and R2-D2. Oh I have this, like, ceramic (?) ball that's like got the Mind Flayer on it that I think someone gave me for my birthday. Uhhh yeah that's all I can think of. Oh and I have like literally every other pool ball outside of the 8 Ball as well bc I wanted to buy a specific one but they only sold them with like, all of them. I've given a few to people though.

To celebrate the launch of another 100 days with harry, here's some trivia with some of my data I've inadvertently collected from him from 52 days. Leaving out the obvious ones (like carrots or the horse head).
has a family crest
mf can be like "ur so dense" when u dont catch what hes sayin but then's like "??? what" when he doesn't catch something
His grandfather is Scottish or Irish.
^that would explain why he likes whiskey
He's afraid of butterflies even though he can kill bugs with his bare hands
He is afraid of and allergic to cats
is interested in architecture, builds with legos and scale models
does not handle strong flavors (weak)
his favorite ice cream is lemon ice cream because its not sweet (based)
falls asleep on the floor LIKE NOTHING
Under the mask hes an heir to a famous corporation AND HE RENTED THE WHOLE FUCKING THEATER FOR HIMSELF.
even if the game tells you "harry is good at everything" it only explains that the ssum is a lying simp mowed down by love. The son of a btch (harry) can't water plants or make a fried egg (I say this affectionately, I swear)
I'll add more the days I'll keep playing lol

The Evolution of LEGO Harry Potter Sets Over the Years
Tumblr media
LEGO and Harry Potter, two iconic and beloved brands, have had a magical partnership that has spanned over two decades. Since the first LEGO Harry Potter sets were released in 2001, fans of both the wizarding world and the colorful bricks have been treated to a series of sets that have grown in complexity, detail, and scale. In this retrospective, we'll take a journey through time to explore the evolution of LEGO Harry Potter sets, from their humble beginnings to the enchanting creations we have today.
2001-2007: The Early Years
The partnership between LEGO and Harry Potter began in 2001, coinciding with the release of the first Harry Potter film. The initial sets were characterized by their simplicity and charm. They featured iconic scenes and characters from the early books and movies, including the Hogwarts Express, the Sorcerer's Stone, and the Chamber of Secrets.
These sets provided a glimpse into the world of Harry Potter, with minifigures of the main characters and magical accessories like wands and broomsticks. While they may appear quaint compared to later releases, these early sets were instrumental in establishing the LEGO Harry Potter brand.
2007-2010: The Hiatus
After several years of producing Harry Potter sets, LEGO took a hiatus from the wizarding world due to changes in licensing agreements. During this time, Harry Potter fans had to make do with the existing sets or seek out discontinued sets on the secondary market.
2010-2011: Return to Hogwarts
The hiatus came to an end in 2010 when LEGO reacquired the Harry Potter license. This marked the beginning of a new era for LEGO Harry Potter sets. The designs became more sophisticated, and the sets grew in size. Notable releases during this period included the massive Hogwarts Castle set, which featured detailed interiors and iconic locations like the Great Hall and the Room of Requirement.
2018-Present: The Golden Era
In 2018, LEGO introduced a new wave of Harry Potter sets, marking the start of the "Golden Era" for lego howgwarts castle enthusiasts. These sets have set a new standard for detail and playability. Some of the notable features of this era include:
Minifigure Diversity: LEGO has expanded its range of minifigures to include characters from all seven books and eight movies, ensuring that fans can collect their favorite witches, wizards, and magical creatures.
Highly Detailed Sets: The sets have become increasingly detailed, with more intricate architecture and advanced building techniques. Iconic locations like Diagon Alley and Hagrid's Hut are brought to life with remarkable accuracy.
Interactive Features: Many sets now include interactive features, such as moving parts, hidden compartments, and play functions. For example, the Hogwarts Castle set from this era features rotating staircases and secret passages.
Collectibility: LEGO has embraced the collectible nature of the Harry Potter universe, releasing sets that cater to different aspects of the wizarding world, from the Hogwarts Castle to the Quidditch Pitch and magical creatures like Buckbeak and the Hungarian Horntail.
Expansion of Accessories: The variety of accessories has expanded significantly, with an array of wands, broomsticks, and magical items that allow for creative play and customization.
Conclusion
The evolution of LEGO Harry Potter sets over the years is a testament to the enduring appeal of both brands. From the early, simpler sets to the intricate and immersive creations of the present, LEGO has continued to capture the magic of the wizarding world and bring it to life in brick form.
The "Golden Era" of LEGO Harry Potter sets has elevated the franchise to new heights, offering fans the opportunity to build and display their favorite magical locations and characters with unparalleled detail and playability. As the partnership between LEGO and Harry Potter continues to thrive, fans can look forward to more enchanting sets that will keep the magic alive for generations to come.

It had taken her months and lots of traveling, but it had definitely been one of the positive sides of this tour. Nari had been trying to complete her Lego Architecture collection, and whilst it was nowhere near, she had managed to get plenty of sets that had been impossible to find in South Korea. If there was one that had been a pain to find, that was the Space Needle set, and what better place to find it than Seattle itself? So she made sure there was no schedule that day so she could take her time.
Because Nari was always lost in her own world and never actually paid much attention to anything else, checking the weather for the day had been the least of her worries. When it started raining as she didn't have a jacket, the dancer had no choice but to deal with how cold it was. Thankfully, the Uber stopped right outside the mall and she rushed inside, avoiding the rain as well as she could, but still slipping and almost failing a couple of times.
It was a real miracle when she managed to make it to the Lego store in one piece, and it was even better that there weren't too many people around. That gave her the chance to relax and look around without having to worry about being recognized. Just like she had done in Chicago when she had visited Legoland almost every day on her own, she hadn't told anyone that she was coming here.
Tunnel vision led her over to the shelf where many Architecture sets were, many she already had, but then there it was - the Space Needle set. It didn't matter if the sky was falling outside, if it was cold, or if she would be late for dinner back at the hotel. Nothing mattered because what she had been looking for was right there, and she was so happy she could dance right there. And she would, actually, if she weren't so shy and didn't like the attention on herself.
With a smile adorning her features, Nari reached out for the box and didn't even notice the person next to her until their hands touched as they both grabbed the box. She shivered. Had they suddenly turned on the air conditioner? A pout replaced her smile just as fast, looking up at the taller person, surprised at who she found right there. Nari would say she was a rational person, she mostly minded her business because it was easier. Oh, but this time? "That's mine," she said, a bit louder than her usual tone, but it still lacked force and it wavered a bit because, as mad as she was, she also wasn't? It was a confusing moment, but Nari was kind of a riddle herself. "You don't get rights just for being taller."
