I think cockpit inside of backpack is a pretty cool ideas, but the problem is adding thrust does not seem to make technological and realistic sense. I guess I am influenced too much by Evangelion lately, hahaha.
So I might have blanked out and spent actual hours building this custom LEGO robot out of whatever parts we already had.
Just because I realized we had doubles of these bumper parts and I wondered how I could use 'em in a way that wouldn't be cars
Was sorting my lego parts and I realized I had enough pieces to make one of the mechs sooooooo…
Here’s a variant of the md-cobra-lmt
Normally I try to utilize more complex colors but for this one I feel the white, light gray and transparent clear is complemented very well with the chrome pieces and bright energy effects giving it a very sleek industrial feel.
Where did I get the idea for my biggest MOC? After watching @brodan_gundam video about GN Arms Type D, I think it would be cool to make something based on the idea.
In order to attach the Atlas to the Mobile Armour, it took me a while to put together the attachment system. The very original design would make Atlas lay flat, but the structure was very loose and off balance. So I changed the entire thing more vertically thanks to the new attachment mechanism. I would love to make lids for the missile launching box, but with this scale, it is hard to put on more details without looking strange.
I am happy to finally find a way to hand the blade on the MA, so the theoretically, Unit 01 could still hold it after disconnecting with the MA.
Compared to the original, there are more thrusters with more energy tanks. Also, I added some small thrusters, which ideally are for more delicate move.
So, that is it for now. If there are more pieces, crazy ideas, or sudden clicks in my mind, I might be able to modify it more down the road.
P.S. Would any one is interested at the tutorial for the MA? It will be quite a challenge to reverse though🥹🥹😂😂. However, if you guys are into it, I will do my best to make it for you. Let me know!
This little droid is green in multiple senses of the word ♻!
More details below!
I imagine it functions as a scavanging droid, exploring ruins and find recyclable components as well as sending/receving data on the ruins with its satelite dish.
Here it is inspecting a littlle lens it found!
Initially this build was very different. I was trying to make a lanky robot with bins for feet and super long scrawny legs, but when i got to what is now the head but should have been the torso it just clicked "OH FRICK THIS CAN BE A DROID"!!!!
