Word Game Wednesday

Clearly I am a few days late, but this week's @ficwip word was "Near."! So here is a little snippet from the career change fic:

Jamie just eyed him up blearily, looking still halfway out of a trance. Then he shook his head and pulled down a mug, starting up the hopping routine to make it back to the kettle all over again. “Go—back to bed—Roy,” he huffed out with each tiny hop. “’M just—making tea. I’ve got it.”  “You’re going to bloody hurt yourself, is what you’re doing,” Roy corrected sharply. He stepped in front of the kettle, reaching out both hands in case he had to jump in to steady his boyfriend. Because Jamie’s movements were certainly erratic, all right. He looked even more unsteady now that Roy had come near, expression drawn and all tight around the eyes with strain. Altogether he looked as though he hadn’t gotten a lick of sleep, which meant he probably hadn't. He must have been at this for a while. Probably hadn’t taken his pain meds, either, the idiot. He kept saying he was fucking fine all the time, and pushed the pills away whenever Roy and Keeley tried to get him to take them, when it was very clear right now that he was anything but fine. Roy sighed, trying to level his breathing before he spoke. He wasn’t angry. He fucking got it, didn’t he? Jamie was just as stubborn as he was and twice as determined. It was just… “You’re not supposed to be putting any strain on your ankle,” he tried, keeping his voice forcibly low. He could be patient. He could. “You can ask me for help, Jay.”

jack and race would start a fight club in middle school and davey would be the one trying to tell them not to do it because the teachers will catch them only to inadvertently tell them the best ways to do it without getting caught and then end up as the accidentally ringleader by being the one to make sure people are fighting as safely as possible so when the fight club finally gets broken up jack and race are absolutely enraged that not only is davey getting in trouble with them when davey really didn't want anything to do with it but also davey is getting all the credit for being the brains behind the operation.

U shoot her a perplexed look because u knew that wasn't true, and when the girls finally go to bed with just you and Sakura left u decide to show her whose the real dominant one...and you completely mark up her neck for the girls to see and for the makeup crew to fuss over, just you completely dominating her to show her whose the real boss.

You don't permit her to look away and you make her watch as you make a complete mess out of her - blushing and whining and squirming in your hold and trying everything in her might not to get too loud when you finally slip your hand inside her panties, and you start to finger her awfully slowly, just so you can make her beg for more and then tease her about it - because surely the dominant person in a relationship wouldn't beg so sweetly and desperately...
