Why Did Your Tav Fall

Here’s a fun notion I had: Let’s write about why our Tav’s fell for Astarion. We all know the thousand of reasons we all collectively love our chaotic, snarky, traumatized, adorable Vamp. But why did your Tav start to fall for him.

For mine, she was raised as Baldurian nobility in a House that valued power and saw her a pawn in their endless games and schemes. With an older sister as the heir of the house, she had a very limited future ahead of her before escaping. Her first encounters with Astarion felt like rebellion, she was free from her family but knew they would hate a man like him. She wasn’t naive enough to buy a lot of his lines, and figured he was just looking for someone to have some fun with while they traveled. 

She started catching feelings as she learned more about him. While her treatment wasn’t as severe as his, she was used to being treated like a thing, an object to be traded in marriage for someone else’s benefit. There was a certain amount of understanding she had for him. Some of the way she herself acted out in the past made it easier to not just be immediately angry with his attitude on occasion. But like her, she could see him struggle and fight for a life that was his alone, and see the person inside that he wanted to be. So she fell for that weird, sweet, sometimes still angry, often very sassy, difficult, beautiful man.

This question is hard as fuck…… so many good guys……. Many more to come in less than a fortnight….

1. Ok well this one’s easy it’s susie she’s the awesomest forever. Mean girl who is actually full of so much love even if she’s still new to being able to actually express it and the idea of being loved by her friends in return. AND everything going on w her past and how that affects her relationships w ppl like kris esp. I can’t wait to learn more abt what’s up w All That. The homeless/abusive home life implications are scaring me please Toby please

2. From here it’s much harder to choose but Krissss probably ^_^ idk what to say here really everyone knows kris rules. Uh ig a mutual has made me start considering kris being the knight a bit more. Idk if im fully sold on it (slightly leaning towards mayor holiday knight rn) but it’s really interesting to think abt the implications of them being the one to make the first two fountains in addition to ch3s. V interested to see how everything unfolds for them regardless of whether that ends up happening or not

3. Noelleeeee I can’t believe on my first playthrough of ch2 I was just like “she’s cool ig :)” Even tho snowgrave and the sweepstakes def helped elevate her intrigue to me she’s so awesome even w/o that. My tormented lesbian deergirl with concerning lore implications :-)

4. Ralsei. Once again another character I’ve grown to like more and more as I think abt him and go “hm. Why is he like that.” Why does he know so much. Is it even accurate or is it just something he’s been led to believe by a Higher Power. Ralsei when I fucking get you.

5. Either Queen or lancer. Tied. My sillys. Leaning more towards lancer actually I think. Like have you seen him. I like the implication that going forward he’s just gonna keep collecting new dad variants. Lesserdad…girldad……..that other guy🤨

After seeing Valerie again, he decides to attend Amity Park Community College. Things seem to be finally moving on for him, that is until he meets someone old and someone new who seem intent on disrupting his new life. Part 1.

Time sensitive question for handy people.

My shower never gets hot enough (only mildly warm), even when I KNOW the water heaters been working bc the sink right beside it runs nice and hot.

There’s knobs beside the shower that look like this.

(They’re the same size it’s just an awkward angle)

So the question is: can I do anything with either of these knobs to make my shower hotter? Or is it best not to mess with them

edit: these knobs are NOT the shower faucet, that's separate. it also seems like it maybe doesnt turn as far as it's supposed to, but it's new so it should be working idk..
