🔥 FEATURE FRIDAY 🔥⁣ ⁣ “The hardest thing about getting started is getting started. ⁣ ⁣ For the last 12 years, in any photo I’ve been in you can tell I’m hiding. It’s either a selfie or a photo where my body is behind another person or object.⁣ ⁣ When Lucy asked for my progress photos my immediate reaction was no way. I was willing to do the workouts, eat the food (I knew she was going to make me eat donuts) and join the coaching calls but photos were not going to be something I did.⁣ ⁣ Lucy held my hand and talked me through this part and we decided that it was time to stop hiding. It was time to show my body. And so we flipped the switch. We hid my face instead of my body. 🔥 FEATURE FRIDAY 🔥⁣ ⁣ For those of you who know Danica @deeweags , you’ll understand how difficult it is to use words that will capture just how incredible she is.⁣ ⁣ Let’s just start by saying nothing stops her. ⁣ ⁣ Nothing.⁣ ⁣ Like everyone, the last year has come with multiple changes. It’s been so incredible to watch her rise above and take care of herself the way that she has.⁣ ⁣ For Danica, it’s never been just about weight loss. ⁣ ⁣ This is her journey. For her, and nobody else.⁣ ⁣ This is about Danica looking at herself in the mirror and loving what she sees. ⁣ ⁣ It’s about Danica feeling proud of herself for running her half marathon 20 minutes faster and totally surprising herself.⁣ ⁣ Feeling stronger every single workout and moving her body from a place of loving it, instead of hating it. ⁣ ⁣ Saying YES to adventures and NO to things that don’t fill her cup. ⁣ ⁣ The journey for Danica has been far from easy, yet she has made it look that way with her positive attitude towards life and grace with everything she does.⁣ ⁣ Danica, I am so proud of you for both your physical and mental transformation.⁣ ⁣ Thank you for allowing me to be your coach.
