Hua Cheng has the nastiest handwriting ever so he can write whatever he wants wherever and whenever he wants and nobody will ever understand anything of what he writes so he greatly prefers that over typing stuff

So he goes to the library every day (he's an art student) and sits to this very specific table every day, puts on his headphones and then studies art history taking notes on his notebook writes poetry about the cute librarian whom he can see perfectly from the table he chose (cause he's a mastermind)

And sometimes his poems are like the sweetest, purest thing ever, cause his beloved deserves to be treated like the deity he is-

It's really cute despite its reputation, wants to be pet by Xie Lian like a little kitty.

So for heaven officials blessings I would love to do either a hualian rp (preferably with me as xie lian) or I have found a love for QiuRong (I would prefer to play Qi rong)!

Some basic plot ideas for hualian🦋👑are:

Coffin time - I’m a sucker for fics and stuff where hua cheng finds xie lian in the coffin or right after he gets out, and just yes!

Reverse au - god hua cheng and ghost king xie lian anyone? I read a fic about it that got me thinking about this idea and I think it could be fun!

One piece au - I’m also a big one piece fan and I mean pirate hua cheng and former marine xie lian? Like I feel like there is some potential there.

So I’m also a big Percy jackson fan, and I love the idea of them being demigods and going on a mission and shit? Like it could be fun!

Just some domestic shit with them and Quzi and trying to make life work man! It just sounds fun!

Okay so for this one, I’m thinking some kind of gilded banquet AU where Lang Qianqiu finds out before it happens and stops Qi Rong before the massacre happens but like Anle escapes and lang Qianqiu drags qi rong along to hunt him down!

I totally see him as a special education teacher, because like overworked, under appreciated, everyone excepts him to do all this shit and is just like well it’s your job, no one else can do his job or wants to do his job, and often feels like people don’t want him around, like yeah that’s special education (my credentials is that I am a special education teacher lol so trust me I know this life)!

As usual its some sort of transmigration fic but this time i decided i give no fricks i care not, this is the culmination of several 3 am writing sessions, its not done yet, but im having a good time.

Clearly this is perfection and the best fanfiction ever so come on down to Silent Stares writing equivalent of making a character and treating them like a human slinky and watch a librarian forget herself and see why jun wu took one look at this woman and was like "finally someone who would love me if i was a worm" but in the least romantic way possible. thats right baby no romance, qi rong hits a tree with a car, everyones having a bad time baby ive decided this is the fanfiction i simply do not care about <3 this is the fanfiction im using as a basketball much like Hua Cheng used Qi Rong's head as a basketball in that one fun chapter. rest in peace Qi Rong's mask you litterally lasted what? five seconds? you were so cool, its too bad you were on a stinky little racoons face <3 (affectionate, i love qi rong, no not in a 'i can fix him' way or a 'i think hes actually deep down a very lovable and sweet man' no i think hes a horrible cannibalistic monster and he's a vulgar little monster i like to watch unfold on the world around him. I will not defend my opinion because theres no defense, and i dont need to defend myself. Perfect for a Scrap-Collecting God

Bear with me as I geek out about linguist-(art) historian Hualian. Hua Cheng never imaged having a private museum in Ghost City but one day Xie Lian realizes that all of the old junk Hua Cheng has amassed over the years needs to be organized somehow lest it all be thrown away on a whim. 

Xie Lian can identify things easily but he can't organize for shit--he just stuffs things in his sleeves. He was never responsible for these types of things in his youth, and the only things he has had to physically arrange over the past 800+ years have been his cutlery and nondescript piles of scraps. Hua Cheng can decorate, but he cannot catalog “insignificant things” for easy use. They have to seek out someone to help deal with this massive pile of beautiful, sometimes famous shit that piles up in secret rooms underneath Paradise Manor. Hua Cheng secretly does not want any of the items to fall to ruin should Paradise Manor be destroyed. Even if he tosses precious valuables around like they're trash, he stores most of them underground. He definitely can't throw anything out, now that Dianxia wants to do something with the stuff. 

The real question is...whose help does Xie Lian enlist for this project? As further penance to Ling Wen, do they ask her to send them...an intern? They settle eventually on an archivist who has been wanting to put in their 2 weeks (2 centuries) at her temple for the past 500 years. The archivist is completely unhinged and has a macabre fascination with Ghost City already. The only reason Hua Cheng hasn’t obliterated her (she is unpredictable and frankly annoying) is because Xie Lian is impressed by her enthusiasm. She sets up an organization system for them, and all they need to do is follow her instructions. 

It occurs to both Hua Cheng and Xie Lian that a wing dedicated to stuff would befit a scrap collecting god. Qiandeng Temple didn’t have a reliquary of any kind: Xie Lian was relieved, since if it did, it no doubt would have been filled with corpse trophies from blasphemers over the centuries. Also no, Hualian will not be ethical curators. These goobers are still going to use the swords and objects inside and the price of admission to their private collection isn't money--nothing in Ghost City comes with money. It's just that the price to pay is too steep for most...Instead, the knowledge that there are gigantic halls filled to the brim with objects collected by the god and his husband the great Hua Chengzu is enough to stoke awe and stories.   

No idiot is going to ask Hua Chengzu to look at his private collection of goods without a damn good reason. Even if they send him a letter and find themselves in his good graces, Hua Cheng just says that it's Xie Lian's passion project, not his. He gives no more information than that. 

Hua Cheng doesn’t let on that he really, really enjoys the evenings where he and Xie Lian sift through all of the junk from over the years. Hua Cheng tells him stories about how he found many of the objects, his memory impeccable despite the fact that he calls most of them useless trinkets. They translate lines together, and Xie Lian takes notes in his beautiful handwriting. Crimson Rain Sought Flower does not actually know everything, so when Xie Lian identifies some tiny ceramic animal as something miraculous and unique, from some kingdom far away and from long ago, he can’t help but feel his love grow more than he ever thought it could. 

Tldr; Xie Lian decides they need to organize all of Hua Cheng’s shit. They need help to do it because neither of them are any good at keeping things in order. They enjoy many nights going through all of this stuff, and Qiandeng Temple gains some new additions.

Hualian will always have top Hua Cheng/bottom Xie Lian for me. But Xie Lian is always, ALWAYS physically stronger that his husband.

Hualianbians? Cutesy Xie Lian can lift her Biker “butch” wife up with one hand. Hua Cheng is very gay for this, trying to figure out how to ask her wife to crush her head between her thighs.

Straight Hualian? Fem!Xie Lian, still dirty from helping in the fields/garden, picks up her blood-covered husband and sweeps them to their bath. Hua Cheng dreams of the day his wife pins him on the bed and just wrecks him.

Reverse Straight Hualian? Xie Lian, looking like a cute librarian nerd, sweeps his elegant wife off her feet without a moment’s hesitation to prevent her from ruining her pretty dress in a fight. Fem!Hua Cheng absolutely starts fights just for him to do that.

Leverage OT3 (Parker/Alec Hardison/Eliot Spencer) - and I’m so excited they’re making a Leverage 2.0 and John Rogers has promised that the ship will be safe! PLEASE more integration of Eliot into the canon ship in 2.0. PLEASE.

Chirrut Imwe/Baze Malbus are my space dads and I love them with my entire heart and I live in the AU where they are alive and happy and nothing bad ever happens. 

Jiang Cheng/Wen Qing - IDK OK? I watched a gay drama and fell in love with the doomed straight couple, I don’t know what to tell you. I love them both as characters and I love them as a couple too. They love their families and I think they have the capacity to love each other and be an unstoppable partnership. I’m very defensive of my stubborn babies and once again, I live in the AU where they are alive and happy and nothing bad ever happens. I would like to have them be a couple and then sic them on my enemies.

Jiang Cheng - I imprinted on him as soon as the flashback started because I too am an anxious rule-follower who gets stressed out by Wei Wuxian’s antics and then I just... got over-invested and now I’m obsessed with him and can’t stop thinking about him. IDK what to tell you. As my tag says, it’s jiang cheng feels day every day over here

Murderbot - just a very relatable person on every level. I too find it much harder to deal with my emotions about real things than about fiction.

Dedicate Lark - I was having trouble picking which Circle of Magic character to put here, but Dedicate Lark is such a wonderful human - kind, mischievous, loving, skilled. I want her to be my foster mom too. I just wanna visit Discipline for tea and bask in her company.

Last Song: that I listened to? shit I’m not sure. My music listening is kinda all over the place. Ah, my most recently played on Spotify is my “Fave Opening Songs” playlist, which includes exactly three songs - “We Won’t Be Falling” (Guardian), Black Sails Main Theme, and Chen Qing Ling (The Untamed)

Last Movie: I think the last movie I watched all the way through was the documentary on trans inclusion in film and television, Disclosure. It’s on Netflix and I highly recommend it, though it’s a rough watch! It deals with trans-antagonism and racism in media and how the two are so thoroughly intertwined and it articulates many things I already knew much better than I can ever articulate them and taught me many new things as well.

Currently Reading: like fifteen billion fanfics (mostly The Untamed and Mo Dao Zu Shi) and also listening to the audiobook of Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir.
