Okay so like I’m not sure if anyone else has ever listened the librivox version 2 (the dramatic reading) version of the marvelous land of oz (second book in the oz series) but like it’s one where each character as a different voice and stuff, right, and omg for the scarecrow he sounds like a posh gay English / French man (it’s hard to tell which one the accent sound more like) and it just cracks me up because he keeps talking about his friend the tin man and how he will protect him and stuff and his voice is just making everything he say so much more gay! Like they said he was a queer king and I’m like damn right he is! This is probably a very niche post but if you have listened to it, or are inspired to now, or honestly if you just are a wizard of oz nerd, feel free to reach out or comment or something because man I have so many thoughts!!

Okay so way off my normal stuff but man I was watching helluva boss and I was on the last episode and I LOVE the fact that fizzarolli signed to a kid! If he wasn’t already my fav in this show he definitely would be now! I just thought it was super fricken cute and awesome and I just love it!

Ok so I have been craving a criminal minds AU, and I’ve been bouncing back and forth between hyperfixations, so I am curious what shows people think would make the best criminal minds AU team!

Okay so I feel like I’m going crazy! So I know I have seen a crossover fan art of Shen Qiao and Yan Wushi as animal crossing villagers, and now I can’t find it anywhere! If anyone else has seen it or knows where to find it, I would definitely appreciate some help!

Okay so like hyper fixation switch and shit and like this is off of my normal posting, but okay Wednesday right, god I love that show! And I was just thinking about it and the new Percy jackson show and I mean I just found it so funny because like Enid totally gives off like iris kid energy in my mind, that or hebe, but iris with all her rainbows and then Wednesday could totally be a hades kid but like imagine nyx kid Wednesday, so like rainbows and darkness and like damn what’s more queer then that! Lol I love it! But on a more serious note with it, I also love the idea of either her being a daughter of Hecate, but like it totally tracks, or a daughter of Melinoë (daughter of hades and goddess of like ghosts and nightmares and shit!) like that’s totally fits Wednesdays vibe!

Of course you can’t have Wei Wuxian and Jiang Yanli without Jiang Cheng, our favorite Angry man! Like I said in my previous post, I definitely feel that Ares is a good candidate! But I would love to hear any other options you all have! And like I’ve said before if a god/goddess not in the options gets repeated a few times, once this post ends I’ll take the top god/goddess and put them up against the other god! But anyway, without further ado, on with the poll!

Okay so more characters for my Percy jackson AU polls, I want to finish out some of our iconic trios! My next characters are going to be the rest of the Yumeng trio (Jiang Yanli and Jiang Cheng) and the Xianle Trio ( Feng Xin and Mu Qing)! So of course, ladies first, and who better than my favorite girl (no it’s totally not an eldest daughter connection lol)! For her it’s honestly a hard one, because like i feel like of some of the biggest gods/goddesses that she would relate to the most would be Hestia, but like I said in an earlier post, Hestia doesn’t have any demigod kids in the Percy jackson books so keeping with that she isn’t an option I’m going to list! And like ngl, I totally feel like Jiang Cheng is a kid of ares, and like I guess they could have the same parent, but she definitely isn’t a kid of ares! And like I also could totally see them having different parents, and like Jiang Cheng being Madam Yu’s bio kid and Jiang Yanli being Jiang Fengman’s kid, but I still don’t know who would be her parent! If anyone knows another option not on my list please comment!

Okay so you can’t have Shang Qinghua without Mobei Jun, so onto his godly parent! Now like Luo Binghe, I will be adding another option, Boreas, the Greek god of the cold north wind, ice, and the bringer of winter. I feel like I don’t have to explain why I added him lol!

Okay so continuing on with my Percy jackson au polls, our one canon side couple, Moshang! I’m going to start with my boy Shang Qinghua! Now this is another character that I’m not really sure about, like I feel like he’s a kid of Athena or Apollo, but like I don’t know if 100% sold on it, so I’d love to hear your guys opinions! I’ll have an other option and if we get a repeat one in the comments, I’ll do another poll with that option and the winner of this poll!

Okay so an interruption from my other polls for a quick question because I am curious! Okay so like in MXTX we have like the main pairs right, and one of them is a red and black color scheme and the other is white with like a secondary light color (lwj-blue, sqq-green, xl-beige) right, and like for Moshang, like mobei-Jun is definitely shades of like blue (I’ve primarily seen on the darker blue side) and like some greys and stuff but like I have either seen a lighter blue and white for Shang Qinghua or yellows, and like I’m torn because like the light blue and white matches the dark blue and grey right, but also blue and yellow look so nice together and they contrast well! But I was like if someone was thinking of doing a closet cosplay or something of Shang Qinghua, what color scheme do they use? Blue and white or yellows? Totally asking for a friend lol!

Also one more thing then I’ll stop my rambling for a little while, but like I also started Thousand Autumns! (My friend lent me the books and I am enjoying those ones as well so far) and like I’m not going to put up a poll or anything for them just yet, but I feel, in the depths of my soul, that Shen Qiao is totally an Aphrodite kid (how many fricken times in the first like 10 chapters does someone call him a great beauty or something. Like damn boy is really fricken pretty! Aphrodite kid vibes there, they are all so pretty!) and Yan Wushi, so far, I feel like is a kid of Eris, the goddess of strife and discord. Like I feel like that just fits Yan Wushi’s vibes, you know?

Now to round out our red and black MXTX boys, Luo Binghe! Now like I said previously, I feel like an arguement can be made for hades on all three of our red and black boys, which makes sense, like I totally get why, but Luo Binghe is one that I actually see either more as a kid of Ares or Nemesis (I’m going to add her on here, because like I can’t believe I didn’t think to add Hecate onto Wei Wuxians, and I won’t make that mistake again! If you have a different suggestion, please comment or hop in my inbox/messages! I’d love to hear!)

For ares, like I feel like it makes sense, the rage and stuff and he’s a good fighter and shit so like I feel like it would make sense you know (it would be funny for an Aphrodite kid Shen Qingqui and an Ares kid Luo Binghe! Lol!)

But also like Nemesis, the goddess of revenge and retribution. Like I feel like that could also be him, you know? Like he’s got the vibes!

But anyway! Please tell me your opinion!

Also for anyone curious as to why some of the main goddess are absent on the polls, since I’m basing this off Percy jackson stuff, Artemis doesn’t have Demigod kids, but instead the hunters of Artemis, but you have to be a girl to enter (Liu Mingyan is totally a daughter of Aphrodite who joined the hunters of Artemis, and I will die on that hill) and in the books, Hera doesn’t have kids because she’s the goddess of marriage and stuff! Hestia is another one not on the list who shares the 12th spot with Dionysus (depends who you ask who is there lol) and i promise I didn’t forget her! She is actually my favorite goddess! I’m an asexual women who is also on the aromantic spectrum somewhere, and I have always been a huge mythology nerd, and like typically a goddess that many lesbians and aroace women really like is Artemis, which like totally makes sense and I love! But for me I never really clicked with Artemis like that, you know? Like Im a pretty soft person, I’m a homebody who loves my family and kids, and always wanted that for myself, even though it isn’t really in my cards, so Hestia was the goddess I really felt a connection with, she is the goddess of the hearth and home, when pursued she was like nope, I’m gonna chill by my fire if that’s good with y’all, and I just love that! But with that she had the maidens that tended the fires (well primarily the Roman version, Vesta, and they were called the vestal virgins) and she doesn’t actually appear in many myths, and is believed to have no demigod children, and in the Percy jackson series, she tends to appear in the form of a child when the characters interact with her, so I typically put her in the same group of hera and Artemis with no demigod children, I feel like she is the aunt you go to when your parents made you upset and she like makes you cookies and coco! But yeah no I love Hestia, she is my fav, but that’s why she isn’t there!

Moving to our next set of characters for the Percy jackson AU, the book I’m currently reading: SVSSS! I’m towards the end of book one and I’m LOVING it!! I’m not going to lie my favorite character so far is totally Shang Qinghua! He is so fricken relatable! But of course we will start this AU poll with our main characters, Shen Qingqui and Luo Binghe, but Shang Qinghua is totally next lol!

For Shen Qingqui, I could totally see Athena or Demeter, not that I have any real concrete reasons other than vibes, tbh! I’m excited to see everyone else’s opinions!

Coming back with my next character for the Percy jackson AU, lan wanji! And honestly I have no clue with him, so I’m excited to see y’all’s ideas!! Also when Wei wuxians is done, whoever wins will be put up against Hecate, because like I feel that it is criminal I didn’t add her there!!! But anyway on with the show!!

Okay so continuing on with my Percy jackson AU/who is this danmei characters godly parent, next up we’re going to the main pair of MDZS! So first up is my boy Wei Wuxian! Now I see a very strong argument for Hades, because the whole demonic cultivation just makes sense, but I also can see strong arguments for Hephaestus, Athena, and Dionysus. Hephaestus because his abilities with creating talismans/how he like invents new one, and ngl he gives like totally Leo Valdez vibes so I rest my case there. Athena is for basically the same reasons as above, except also in the donghua his eyes are grey which Athena’s kids in the Percy Jackson books all have grey eyes and since I’m basing this off that, I felt like it would fit. And lastly Dionysus, which while his obsessive drinking does play a role in this idea, it’s not the only reason. Dionysus is also the god of madness and like I mean the shit he pulled with Wen Chao at the end kind of like drove wen Chao mad, and like I know he spends a portion of his reborn life pretending to be a mad man so yeah. But id love to hear from everyone else! Also let me know if there are any other gods you think would make sense that aren’t on the poll!

Okay so for the next danmei character’s godly parent, I’ve got Hua Cheng. Now I all three of our red and black male leads give off hades kids vibes, but Hua Cheng is about the only one that I’m like yes, this is 100% a son of hades, like I can’t personally think of anyone else that fits as well, except possibly Athena for the sculpture stuff, but I’d love to hear all you guys opinions! (For Luo Binghe and Wei Wuxian, I’ll go into who else I think their godly parent could be on their post.)
