Some SMT5 Characters in P5T style because it’s cute

I’ve been enjoying P5T during my little self-assigned winter break. I haven’t cleared the game yet, but it’s been a nice distraction.

Below is some of my thoughts on P5T if you’re interested or if you’re trying to decide whether or not to buy.

Overall, the game has been pretty enjoyable. It’s nice to see the characters you’re familiar with again and the story is decent. The art style is cute and the battles are enjoyable. The game is definitely more on the casual side and might be a tad bit disappointing for people who want a proper SRPG. On the flip side, even if you hate SRPG, you’d be able to pick this game up easily. I’d definitely recommend the game for P5 fans.

On the other hand, compared to P5S, the game does feel a little short for the price. I don’t regret preordering the game at all, but if your finances aren’t doing so well at the moment, I’d say wait till it goes on a sale.

1. As a Persona 5 spinoff

As a spinoff, I think it’s a pretty nice game. It’s nice to see the characters you love again in a different context, and the new characters are fun and likable. I’m actually quite impressed by the new characters as it can sometimes be difficult to insert new characters into a well-established franchise without making them overpowered or otherwise upsetting to the existing fans. Both Toshiro and Elle are likable, fun characters with decent stories of their own.

It’s also nice to see your favorite Phantom Thieves again. Overall, the tone of the game is more playful, so you can’t expect an in-depth character exploration you get in P5R, but it still feels like a treat.

2. As an SRPG

I think the game translated the elements of Persona franchise well into an SRPG genre. With 1 MORE and Tribangle system, you really do feel like you’re playing a Persona game. While it might be a tad bit disappointing that you can only use three characters per battle, trying to find the most efficient way to exterminate the enemies with Tribangle is pretty fun.

That said, for people coming from a more traditional SRPG like Final Fantasy Tactics or the Fire Emblem series, P5T can be a little lacking. Part of the fun in an SRPG is customizing units and building your army. In P5T, you level up the Phantom Thieves as a whole instead of individually. I think this was necessary to prevent users having to grind to level up different units, but it also makes it harder for you as a player to customize each unit meaningfully. In FE3H, for example, you can decide whether you want Felix to be a sword master or a wyvern lord. You can also decide whether you’d want your army to be sturdier with a lot of armored units or whether you’d take your chances by raising your units’ agility and hoping that they’d dodge enemy attacks. That you can’t do such customization can be a huge disappointment for people who enjoy SRPG.

On the other hand, adopting such traditional job/class system might have turned P5T into a poor man’s FE. I feel like the developers had to choose between a traditional approach at the risk of making the game look like a FE ripoff and trying to make use of Persona-typical systems at the expense of being a solid SRPG.

Overall, the game plays more like a fun puzzle game than an SRPG. If I were to compare P5T to any game, I’d actually compare it to some of the puzzle maps in FEH. My advice is if you’re looking for a solid SRPG like Fire Emblem, you should pick up a Fire Emblem game.

3. Others

While the game doesn’t feel unfinished—like Crimson Flower route in FE3H in which you feel cheated out of Edel’s story—it does feel a little short. I haven’t gotten to the final boss, but I can look at the level and guess where I am. I’ve been playing this game in bits and pieces, but I’m already 60% finished with the game. I think at this rate, I’d finish at about 35~40ish hours. Keep in mind that when I play games, I eat and drink, so it takes a little longer than it would if I were to focus completely on the game.

One thing that shortens the game is that there isn’t anything to do aside from battling. I know some people hate it when games involve little side activity like walking around and talking to characters—though you can technically talk to characters in P5T when there’s a Talk event—or farming, but I do wish there was something to do. The quests are fun, but there aren’t that many of them.

On the other hand, because you don’t have anything to work for besides getting on with the story, I’m not sure if the developers could have made the game longer without making the battles feel too repetitive. If there were job/class systems or any unit customization available, there would be something to work for, but there isn’t.

I do think there is more potential to the premise of the game though. The Kingdoms of P5T is sort of set up like Silent Hill in that the bosses are incarnations of one’s fear. I think the developers could definitely have expanded on that.

I’ve also seen some complaints that the game is too easy. The game is definitely easier than some SRPG I played. But then, I don’t think this game was made with hardcore SRPG players in mind. Also, despite the game being a bit more casual, I didn’t feel bored playing the battles. So I think the difficulty level might actually be more suitable for the general public. Aside from something like Dark Souls, games of all genres have been getting easier over the years. I know it might be disappointing to people who want more challenging games, but I don’t see the trend reversing soon. I think the best course of action if you want more challenge is to try looking into some indie games.

I picked up Qiubai from the current banner and know absolutely nothing about her. She worth leveling and if so is there anything I should know about her skills/talents and how best to use them?

Qiubai is one of those units whose banner was very untimely, smack between Lin and Chongyue's limited banner, and the Monster Hunter collab limited banner (not to mention that afterwards, there was Absolute Beast Ines to account for, and a bit farther down the road, fan favorite Muelsyse and Ho'olheyak), so a lot of people decided to skip her, making her one of the rarer Operators.

But I am not a lot of people, and my main reason is "She's Fucking Cool, Your Honor".

I think she's a damn good Operator worth investing in. The main criticism levied against her, besides the unfortunate timing of her banner, is that she's Not Thorns, which is like looking at a successful and highly skilled physicist and saying that he's shit because he's not Albert Einstein. The actual criticism I would levy against her, as someone that uses her all the time, is that she does require a bit of presence of mind to use her due to the nature of her Talents requiring procs if she's not supported appropriately, and her S3 having a rather long downtime.

So, Talents (E2 no pots): First is whenever she attacks enemies affected by Slow or Bind, she deals 40% of her Attack as extra Arts damage. This is a good extra bit of juice you can squeeze out of every attack, as well as a means to deal with high Defense powerhouses. Second is that attacks have a 20% chance to Bind for 1.5 seconds. Attacks that proc this 20% apply Bind first and then count the attack, meaning that every time she procs her Second talent, her first Talent is also activated. This is true, to my knowledge, to all Operators with similar effects (such as enemies receiving extra damage when Stunned in her range; the Stunning hit benefits from this extra damage instead of having to follow up to start benefiting). Her attack interval is 1.3, meaning that whenever she procs Talent 2, she'll usually get two free Talent 1 procs in, "usually" because sometimes the enemy is actually at the edge of her range or just wandered off, and the projectile doesn't land in time.

S1 is your least used Skill, probably, but it's not useless: It's Bind centric, and Binds the enemy for 2.5 (3 M3; M3 numbers in parenthesis from hereon) seconds, followed by a small AoE explosion of 240% (300%) Arts damage once it expires. It is Automatic and Attack Charged on a low limit of 5 SP (4 SP) so it reliably gets fired off. It's honestly not a bad skill, it's just that her S2 and S3 exist.

S2 changes her range into a single file 4 tiles forward and immediately slashes all these tiles to deal 240% (300%) Arts damage and enemies in this slashed ground are Slowed throughout the duration, 5 seconds. QB gets an steroid of +90% (+140%) Attack for these 5 seconds, and when the skill expired, the initial slash explodes once again for 240% (300%) Physical damage. The slash itself CANNOT hit air units, but QB's regular attack can, be wary of this. This Skill is your go-to for general use when you just need to kill regular enemies and elites, since it gives her phenomenal true AoE capabilities, a strong steroid, and since enemies are Slowed in the slashed area, she will proc Talent 1 every time while Skill is active (against ground units, that is). All of this on a very good timer of 12 SP (10 SP), making this skill's strength its ability to reliable, consistently use it: It's ALWAYS ready when you need it, and on longer fights against very strong enemies that you need to stall for a bit, you can use it several times.

S3 changes her range to one extra side tile forward, changes damage type entirely to Arts, Talent 1 is augmented by 1.5x (2x), gives QB +45% (+55%) Attack, Lord ranged attack penalty is negated, QB attacks 2 extra targets, so 3 total per attack, and each attack animation she does gives her 13+ ASPD for the duration of the skill, stacking up to 6 (8) times. This is QB's burst skill to deal with numerous strong enemies or even just one strong enemy, to be honest. She'll become a machine gun of Arts damage, and since she's attacking so fast, she'll likely keep proccing Talent 2 repeatedly, meaning, even more damage from Talent 1, which in itself also gets augmented. The sole weakness of this skill is that it exists on a 55 SP charge, unlike her very fast S1 and S2. It lasts 30 seconds. I recommend Mastering this skill first because its gains are actually very good, due to the Attack bonus and the Talent 1 augmentation coming into play for a very drastic increase in damage.

S2 is true AoE so you use it to deal with many enemies, S3 is Arts burst so you use it to delete strong enemies. You want to pair QB up with people that can Slow or Bind enemies so you can constantly enjoy Talent 1 bonuses instead of relying on Talent 2 procs. Her Best Match is Suzuran S3 for QB's S3, since that'll just make her become absurdly devastating, but for less bursty options (Suzuran's S3 also has long downtime), you can use Angelina S2, Podenco S2, Ethan, Dorothy S2, and other such Decel Binders and Operators with consistent ability to Slow or Bind. KEEP IN MIND: It needs to be the status effect known as Slow, capitalized, not just any slow effect! Meaning, Ch'en the Holungday, for example, who spreads movement speed slowing areas with her Skills, DOES NOT combo with QB for Talent 1 purposes. It needs to be the status known as Slow (which reduces enemy movement speed by 80%).

QB's main strengths are the ability to vary damage types, synergize well with support units to hose out great damage, have reliable true AoE that can be spammed, and good burst when that is necessary, further improved by synergizing well with a popular and strong Operator (Suzuran). QB's main drawbacks are that her S3 exists on rather long downtime, and that against highly Resistant enemies, her Skills will not fare particularly well, as they all have an Arts damage component to them (you'll mainly want to use S2 here, since her steroid affects her Phys damage output and the expiration explosion is Phys).

Overall, a very fun and strong Operator! I recommend investing in her, yeah.

What’s ur favorite boat. I want a picture of the boat too.

My favorite is the RMS Olympic. She may look like her younger sister RMS Titanic, but with a keen eye, you can tell them apart. She's my favorite for a couple reasons. First of all, I like her exterior. I like the proportions of her funnels, and her hull shape. I also like the relatively square superstructure at the bow. Her interiors are also an excellent example of the edwardian era decor. I MIGHT prefer the Mauretanias interiors a bit more, but the Olympic wins overall because of her exterior and career. Oceanliner Designs has a 3 part series on her career I would recommend because it's too much to get into here, but one of my favorite stories involves her time as HMS Olympic during World War 1. She was serving as a troop ship and she was being targeted by a German U-Boat. She actually managed to swing herself around and ram the U-Boat, sinking it in the process. She also survived a torpedo strike on a separate U-Boat encounter (it was a dud). While Olympic is my favorite, I have a list of my top 19 ocean liners. The only things that remain consistent is that Olympic is always #1, and the Mauretania, Queen Mary, and SS United States all always occupy the top 4 (although the positions change.) Also, I have a 1 ship per class rule, so among the Olympic, Titanic, and Brittainic, I had to only pick 1.

ok so idol groups all know each other for sure, pothos prolly interacted with them as well, but way less and more formal, soloists and urband legends def had only minor interactions IF they had those.

generally speaking, everyone in the company treat Andromeda like seniors/girlbosses (because they are) while cheer4U are now the youngest and newest group they are kinda babies to everyone Andromeda doesn't have very close relations to anyone (being popular doesn't help here), but they are considered like a proper sister group to Ishin-Denshin, due to some matching concept elements and being the 'foundation' of the company Andromeda and Ishin-Denshin def had their little collabs, specifically vocal-based, since both group got mad vocalists also important to point out that Ishin-Denshin are huge fans of Andromeda, like every single one of them loves them, they def have been following Andromeda since their school idol days and they are still not over the fact that they ended up in the same company

Ishin-Denshin and GRIMM parade are a bit closer, i think because they are the same age, and because Ryunosuke insisted they should be rivals LOL it didn't happen tho, because Ishin-Denshin are just sweeties, and were like "no thank you <3", so Ryunosuke settled on Ishin-Denshin being their supporters or smth anyways, they def hang out somewhat regularly, ofc each of GRIMM parade members is close to different Ishin-Denshin members i think main proper friendships i have are: Ryunosuke and Tadao (leaders and basically dads of their group... lowkey considering making them a couple ahaha...) Shouhei and Nobu+Kyo, Shouhei and Nobu are just besties who hang out a bunch, but two of them with Kyo had like a whole event of helping Shouhei deal with a nasty break up he had (Nobu had a shitty relationship too, while Kyo.. well... it's in his TH profile B) the point is Kyo and Nobu just helped Shouhei process things) Rokuro and Kyo - just hype boys who hype together

i don't think i have any other ~full group~ relations so here's random canon connections i remember tsubaki (urban legends) is a fangirl of andromeda and specifically their triplers unit, def stans hana, mieko and shiori ryunosuke (grimm parade) and kaede (urban legends) totally get along due to their 'dramatic freak' agenda, witnessing them talking to each other has to be an Experience, because they 100% use most extra phrases and words LMAO elijah (pothos) is a huge fanboy of grimm parade and ryunosuke specifically kyo (ishindenshin), rokuro (grimm parade) and elijah (pothos) are also like 3 energetic funky boys who love dancing kyo, tadao (ishindenshin), axe, elijah (pothos), michi (cheer4U), hana (andromeda) and shinobu (urban legends) all love working out so i imagine they end up together in the gym every now and then also totally exlusive info, but im gonna couple up ichigo (cheer4U) and kyo (ishindenshin), as well as michi (cheer4U) and shouhei (grimm parade) B)

Memories 2021 Discs 6 -7

So I asked again when I said I was going to watch memories in full if you would be interested in commentary from me as I did so. There were a lot of people who said yes, so here we are! I have officially watched BTS Memories of 2021. Here are my thoughts as I went. There were 7 DVDs in this one. Reminder that these aren't going to be smoothly written out thoughts. You get these like I'm live reacting, texting my bestie or live tweeting. Lol it'll be in like bullet point format sort of, just... a commentary post as I go. Disc 6

2021 Festa Family Photos Making Film:

This could honestly just be a post on its own 😭😍 with all the gorgeous photos!! Everyone starting off in their stunning white outfits from past shoots/performances too. Jikook both in black swan outfits too! Hopekook almost bonking foreheads and smiling so cutely at each other in their unit shoot with Yoongi 🥺 Everyone standing serious for their group photo, and then there is Tae secretly tapping consistently on Hobi's thigh and bring silly while he pretends to be serious with the rest of them. Lol and then dancing through their next shot too 😂 having a hard time sitting still! Jimin reigning Tae back in for the shot and JK smacking him for being silly 🤣 everyone doing solo shots in their brown suits and JK takes over a camera as per usual. Starting with a test shot of Hobi, turns out great! Tae shows up and JK takes a super close up angle and hopekook both exclaiming in surprise at how he can look good even from that angle. Turning to take a close up of Jimin too and giggling saying he looks like a rookie actor (again!) Everyone laughing so much thanks to Jungkook! Jimin fixing Sope's ties for them during the group shoot because they were a little crooked was so fucking cute and domestic honestly. Tae grabbing Hobis hand to hold during the shoot and trying to kiss his hand. So much love and laughter 😍

Jungkook spinning namjin super fast with him on the merry go round thingy and them NOT ENJOYING IT and JK just laughing at them 😅🤣 Yoonmin being the cutest and pretend fighting lol the editors "battle of the bts kitties" "we don't know who won but they are good friends!" 🤣🤣 Vhope being so cute and Hobi was also NOT A FAN of the merry go round. Lol I'm glad taekook got to have fun on it together after shooting since their photo partners were not into all the spinning they clearly wanted to do lmfao! Even when Tae tapped out, JK just kept staying to play! Vhope might be my favorite duo of the Festa photos! Lol the way they jumped to each other for photos and then Tae just snuggled into Hobi, who wrapped him up in a big hug like a koala and Tae then just lifting him up in response and Hobis surprised laugher. My heart is MELTING. 1st Gif above.

Rolling Stone Magazine Making Film:

The way the concept was carefree and you can tell they all enjoyed just getting to do whatever they want during their solo shoots for sure. Lol Jimin coming to check out Hobis 4 frame shots and going "ah Hobi is playing celebrity again" and Tae trying to photobomb Suga 🤣🤣 the staff going "must be nice to be that handsome" watching V do his photoshoot and Tae getting instantly shy 🥺🥺 so cute! For the group shots the director wanted it to look like a more causal green room conversation/setting. Lol all crammed on one couch? Well okay, that's probably fair for the Tannies. But JK hearing that then immediately putting an arm on Jimin and leaning back against Hobi was cute 🥺 my 3J. His comfort people. He readjusted but it was still cute. Director telling them to open their mouth like they are yawning and the Tannies all just start vocalizing like opera stars instead! Lol Jimin looking at the photos and saying Yoongi looks like a goldfish 🤣 non stop teasing from Jimin today! 😂 Hobi shattering the illusion of them all on top of each other on one couch immediately after going "this isn't what we are really like on green rooms." Hobi sir, we have some footage that begs to differ. Maybe not all the time but cmon 🤣🤣 Jimin pretending to hop onto the motorcycle at the next set and Jhope going "cmon Jimin, let's go!" And hopping on behind him like they are going to take off! 🥰 Reviewing their photos and making adjustments and JK telling Jimin he should lean in more while dropping ALL honorifics, as per usual 😂 these were actually super well done photoshoots AND well done interviews. Billboard Magazine Making Film:

The video starting out with Namjoon expressing immediately sympathy for JK in his heavy sweater about how hot he is going to be. Lol and when JK is outside he has Staff around him right away giving water bottles and holding fans. Poor baby, it must be really heavy! RM being the best leader and organizing where everyone needs to go and sit for the cover shoot so well! Really great examples of his encouraging type of leadership though. Everyone struggling with how bright the sun is shining in their eyes and Joon going "just 10 photos, okay?" Giving encouraging pats and counting everyone off for when they need to quickly open their eyes for the shot too.

Second outfits and set seemed more comfy. Lol jikook saying they loved their outfits and felt it fit them. Give them the outfits billboard!! Namjoon cutting his end mentions interview short after his shoot going "wow, so sexy! Rolled up sleeves" because he got distracted by how good Yoongi looked! Lmao I mean, I get it namjoon. I get it 😍😂 and then Yoongi getting all shy about it too and downplayed the compliment. Accept it Yoongi! JK and Hobi also praising Yoongi during their group photoshoot at the end. Saying he "looks like a boss." And Jimin saying Yoongi looked great in short sleeves during their ending mentions. Caught ALL THEIR EYES!

They did a 7 things you don't know about bts interview and Jimin being unsure because he picked something the members all already know about him and JK saying it's okay if the members know but others don't and reassuring him so sweetly. Their little fist bump after the interview started too! During the group shoot Yoongi going "ow wait, let me spread my legs a little" as everyone crowded into the same small couch and letting Jin lean back between his legs instead of on them. Whew. Great photoshoot honestly! Shitty ass article, dont give them any clicks, and they are so undeserving of BTS honestly. But pretty photos for sure.

The Making Film opens up by blessing me with minimoni praise! Jimin just being like this is my first time seeing actual models and it's crazy because Namjoon fits right in! He can go toe to toe with all these models. Wow! And when Staff tell Joon what Jimin said he was so shy and humble. Lol "that's just Jimins affection for me clouding his vision." 😭😭😭 Vhope smiling and waving to each other from across the set where they were each filming their seperate parts of the video and giving each other that encouragement! Followed by the same thing with cute glances and encouragement exchanged between taekook across their sets too! I love it. Jikook being silly and comparing heights in their new outfits and shoes, just for JK to step back, check Jimin out from top to bottom, a full body check out, and go "you look like a real model!" And Jimin just blushes. Cuteee. Namjoon saying he likes Yoongis outfit best, and he wants to wear it! Hobi being nervous going up the elevator but Tae easily distracting him by asking about his bag. 🥺 I love they chose their own outfits for this too. It's amazing and the fact that they chose their own outfits and Jimin picked to wear a skirt!! Love it!

Vogue Korea & GQ Korea | LV Making Film:

I love that they once again got to pick their own outfits for the shoot here too! Showcases their uniqueness so well! JK saying he thinks he has worn an outfit similar to Namjoons before. And Namjoon just looking at JK and saying everyone looks like they are going to a party, why do you look like you are going to the gym? 😭😂🤣 let him BREATHE Namjoon. Athletic clothes everywhere is an AESTHETIC! The never ending teasing. Lol "your outfit is so blue too." JKs defense of "jimins outfit is all redish!" It's not just you, Jungkook, it's not! 🤣 Jikook really are though two bright ass spots of color in everyone else's more monochrome color scheme in these group shots 😂 Jikooks play boxing and 95z dancing and silliness during the break. So much energy! Not Tae feeling up Jimins biceps and going "it'll rip" in reference to Jimins muscles busting out of his tight fit?! 😭🤣 please! JK giving a little interview after his first solo shoot and getting distracted and turned around/lost backstage/on set! Lol

Everyone gathering for a group photo and JK just plopping down on Hobis lap instead of getting his own chair. FAIR. Jin being a little nervous up high in the set and JK just linking their elbows and sticking by him so sweetly. He is the sweetest man! For the third of their looks, Hobi picked out to wear one of the same outfits that Tae once wore on his own time at the airport. Lol and he goes "yes. I've become Tae's clone" 🤣 cuteeee. For the 4th look/set, Tae is outside and keeps talking about how nice it would be to do a shoot outside with his dog, Tan 🥺 Gathered for the last group shot has everyone asking Hobi about his outfit and if he is wearing a bulletproof vest. Lol which he confirms by singing a line from We Are Bulletproof Pt. 1 and spends the rest of the time before the shoot starts in earnest with the other members punching his vest and asking if it hurts. 🤣🤣 and no one being able to leave the balloons alone on the set. They are so playful. These were again really great photos and interviews if you want to go check them out if you haven't read them yet!

Disc 7

My Universe MV Making Film:

Giving me a minimoni unit at the start of a making film makes me so happy! They are so cute together! The members fawning over Yoongis pink hair 😍 me too! JK can't go one making film without boxing someone and I love that for him. This time it's Tae shoulder/back that is his boxing opponent! Lmao at Jimin just standing there in between takes and JK just randomly comes by to touch and hold his chin for a minute. Why are they so cute?? They spend so much of this making film just quietly talking in the background too. It's adorable. Tae telling everyone to channel N.O. to give resistance vibes for the MV 😂 Not Jimin pulling his phone out to check it after a shot and JK coming to peer over his shoulder at it too! Lol the constant "who's texting *us*" vibes are spectacular. Vminhopes loud laughter during footage review when JK goes "Chris is taller than us, why are we looking down?" 😂😂🤣🤣 Jikook acting out a skit to make their hyungs laugh 🥺 and swinging Hobi around like crazy between them lmfaoo "maknae line and maknae lines boss" Editors know them well lmfao. Jikook getting in line for their filming snd jikook at the end of the line just play fighting and Jimin getting right up in JKs face like that 😳🤣 Just for JK to jostle him back and make funny poses himself. They really have so much fun together. The way they were all leaning shoulders against each other to "relax" and when they finally break apart you see the poor stylist noona on the floor under them Still just trying to fix and resituate their clothes 😅🤣 Vhopeminkook working out using each other as weights lol and then the maknae line making up choreo for MU while hyung watch endeared. Their energy is unbounded. Jhope being asked to freestyle right before the cameras rolled again for the ending scene and all the members praising him for how cool he is immediately after. Seeing them all have fun dancing at the end is my favorite part. They are so cute. Jikook teasing Tae for how he started dancing too was so funny. Ending mentions has Tae trying to wrap an arm around Jimin and almost knocking him over by accident instead. He was not prepared! Lol but JK looking over and checking on him with his eyes and Jimin making that eye contact as he caught his stumble was so cute. Just the quiet making sure he was all good 🥺 so domestic of them! Tae was so cute too making sure he didn't actually fall over 🤣 Jikookery Clips here.

Special Presidental Appointment Ceramony & Permission to Dance | UNGA SDG Moment 2021 Making Film:

The first 2 minutes were just BTS being so proud and excited about the honor bestowed upon them by their country and honestly, same. Im SO PROUD of them too. They deserve ALL THE RECOGNITION possible. And then some. They deserve it all. And seeing them prep for their 3RD VISIT to UNGA is amazing. Everyone arriving at the airport to go to NY is so tense but also so excited. Joon being nervous about memorizing his speech during the plane ride. Jikook arriving to the airport together and both so bouncy and giddy!

Namjoon forgetting her PTD Verse and asking JK for help. And Jungkook being SO PROUD TO HELP and claiming himself the BTS Lyric bot and that he knows most of all the lyrics and the rap verses too. Just main vocalist things! Jin making good minor suggestions to both cameramen and members as they film their PTD performance so that everyone stays the most safe while walking/dancing backwards. Always looking out for everyone. 🥺 Not the cute copy/paste move that ran through Namjikook as all 3 wanted to copy and try Taes jumping dance move! Lol cuties. Namkook being adorable with a happy to be in the sun again dance break as they move locations! The members all laughing over how the doors they have to exit from were so much heavier than they thought it would've been 🤣 The way they all cheer and clap for the backup dancers through their rehearsals at the final location they shoot at 🥺 the way all those dancers had nothing but wonderful things to say about their experience working with BTS too!

Special Presidental Envoy Speech | UNGA SDG Moment 2021 & The Metropolitan Museum of Art Making Film:

The members all politely listening and nodding along while going through the museum and Namjoon is just super into it. Adorable. JK misreading "hall" as "hell" and Jin being unable to stop his giggles over the mistake 😂 Namjoon giving a speech too! And JK being so proud of him when he gets back to their seats afterwards. Endearing! They were SO NERVOUS for their speeches. 😭 Practicing while getting ready, practicing while getting styled, practicing in the car ride over. Teasing each other a bit about their nerves. Oof. You did great loves! Jimin being so shy about apologizing for taking a breather during his speech and his members all lightheartedly teasing him about it. Lmfao the way he laughed and RAN from them all out of the building. 😭😂 Poor baby. Even though they were all teasing him they were all reassuring him too. With sweet notes of "no, you did really well though." And sharing their pride of him too. Namjoon saying he felt more comfortable this time giving these speeches because his members were there and joining in on it too this time. Their love for each other is admirable.

Meeting with Megan Thee Stallion & Coldplay:

Nah because BTS with Meg is one of the cutest things ever. Such a sweet friendship. I love seeing her sitting between the 95z as a 95 liner herself too! The way they all fawned over her and 4oe! Their selfies together. Talking about things they wish they could've done together for Butter promo! And the way they wanted to teach her the Butter choreo but didn't want her to hurt her ankles in her shoes so they did the hand choreo part! They were so cute all huddled up together in a little circle practicing and then filming their hands all together too. Lol Jikook with their hand tattoos in the middle too! Ugh, love it. Jimin thanking Megan for the alcohol in their gift bags by holding it up and doing her signature tongue move while shouting thank you 😂🤣 And JK picking up and carrying Jimins gift bag out for him. 🥰 They are so cute.

Their friendship with Chris and Coldplay is SPECTACULAR! One of my favorites. It's so cute seeing them all together and enjoying their time together. I love that Chris asked them to sing MU with him right there and then. Just to enjoy their song all together. It's so special. Their smiles were all so big. During they "heys!" Jikook were so cute laughing together and Jimin booty bumping up onto JK and JK unable to stop smiling over at him too! Lol their smiles and laughter all together through their whole visit! The way they were so excited to be gifted modern hanboks from the guys and Chris gifted Jin his guitar. The way Chris wanted to teach Jin how to play the guitar and Jin went along with it like he had never played a guitar before WAS ADORABLE. Lmao. Jin saying it was going to become a family heirloom 🥺 BTS being the fanboys for once was so cute. Especially because the energy and respect was absolutely matched. The hugs at the end too 🥺

2021 American Music Awards Making Film:

Vmin right off the bat! During practice Tae talking about how when he wears a hat all his hair just sticks out the side of it at the length it was at. Jimin just watching him so endeared and "so cute." And then Jimin grabbing him by the neck as they spin in a circle for their "practice" of their duo dance for Butter. Lol cutiesss. Jimins hair is so long and beautiful during this time too! JK covering Jins face with his own hood and Jikook jokingly singing happy birthday to him since his Birthday is coming up soon. Practicing on stage and wanting things to be perfect for their first stage back with ARMYs there. 🥺 Jimin being goofy with the camera and pretending to shoot us and look through his hair. Lol and JK just standing right out of camera view where we barely see him for a moment just Watching Jimin be silly all endeared over it 🥺🥺 Practicing where they need to go for the MU performance too and Jimin just going "I should stick close to namjoon. Namjoon! We can't be seperated!" And looping his arm in Joons, while Joonie just goes "good good" and walks off with Jimin in tow 🥰 I'm so in love with minimoni!

Finally on their way to the show too! Red carpet time, seeing army time, performance time! We had vhope in one car, minimoni in the other and then our ultra introvert line yoonjinkook in the last car! Lol I love all these dynamics. JK being nervous during their speech and nailing it but his cute "we wanna focus on...." lmfao everyone laughing and JK in the dressing room for Butter only being able to fret about armys now making fun of him when he just wanted to look cool. Lmfao the non stop laughter he couldn't control! Cutie. And he wasn't wrong. "We wanna focus on" was all army could talk about and how cute JK was and how cute Jinkook are when Jin pulled him away 🤣🤣🤣 Jikook walking backstage together so excited after their performance and winning the grand prize! JK was PUMPED. LOL JK saying the whole world looks yellow now and Jimin just laughing and saying it's because of his yellow glasses and pulling them up onto his head for him to see without them 🤣 Everyone's smiles and energy and excitement at just being there with ARMY and performing with a crowd again! Im so unbelievably proud of them all the time!

The Late Late Show with James Cordan Making Film:

This was filmed 211123, we know because they filmed it in the middle of traffic and hundreds of people saw them do it 😂 Am I a big James Cordan fan? No. Lol but I do love seeing the guys all having fun and smiling. The absolute CHAOS of rehearsals where BTS are RUNNING but don't know what they are supposed to be doing AT ALL 🤣🤣🤣 Jihope having their impromptu photoshoot for future photos for Jimins Instagram. ITS BEEN A YEAR AND WE STILL HAVENT GOTTEN THEM?! LOL Their laughter and smiles are so cute. They had so much fun together. JK mispronounced Chipotle as Chicolte and the company rolling with it is my favorite thing. Lol 3J all sharing parts of their meals together is so cute. Jimin walking up and JK just taking a big bite of Jimins food with no asking and with zero reaction. You just know he does it often. 🤣 Ending mentions after filming the talk show portion has everyone talking so nicely about how great it was to see fans again and about how they had fun.... and JK is just sitting in the back unable to stop feeling Namjoons hair lol. Up and down he brushed the short hairs at the back 😂 and Joon didn't even react. You just know he is used to the members clinginess and JKs random "must feel the texture" touches he does so often to all of them 😂 I love it.

2021 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Making Film:

I love seeing them have so much fun during rehearsals together, even as they practice seriously. And I also love when they prove over and over again that their mics are always on! Lol burgers for lunch after practice and before they perform. Everyone taking off their jackets while they eat, tell me WHY DID JIMIN TAKE OFF HIS WHOLE SHIRT?! Just leaving his little sweater on but button so low?! Lol Jimin what was the reason?! Jhope and his Polaroids! The way they all blinked like crazy when asked to blink to give spoilers on if they were working on an album or a tour in 2022 🤣 vmin laughing together over it all on the rep carpet interview too 🥰 Yoonmin walking to the second interview with Jimins arms around his shoulders 🥺 Jhope mentioning feeling tipsy after his few sips of champagne at the second interview 🤣 Jin being so cute with his reindeer headband and Tae looking so endeared!! Jikook kicking off their ending mentions by singing Jingle Bells together! Jin saying that working on his birthday was worth it because seeing army is the best present. 😭 They all wished Jin a happy birthday again! Jimin pulling him in for a hug and Tae pinching his butt 🤣 And ending the DVD with promises to look forward to their concerts in March in 2022 and Tae making everyone laugh and be endeared over his ending fairy comments 🥺🥺

An AMAZING experience, as watching memories always is. And this fully wraps up my posts over these DVDs. I love them all so much. We are so blessed to be fans of the most humble people in the world. I'm so proud of them all the time and wish them nothing but the best, safety and happiness through these next few years, knowing that we aren't going anywhere!!

Any advice for someone relatively new to Arknights? I'm currently at 2-1.

I'm on my phone so this will be short

1) follow @cerastes and @shuttershocky if you haven't already, both of those users are very friendly to new players and shutters in particular has answered a lot of questions from players in your situation

2) invest in your base. Your operators get very expensive to raise very quickly and having a well-developed base is essential for ensuring that you have the resources required to get your team ready for harder content.

3) raise your 3-stars. They're cheap in comparison to higher-rarity operators and are more than enough to get you through the early story and the easier events (and even the higher-end content if you know what you're doing). You'll thank yourself for having the foresight to do this once you're ready to start playing the Integrated Strategies game mode.

4) Don't trust anything Gamepress or reddit says about unit viability, everyone on both sites is awful at the game and can be safely ignored.

Those are the four things I'd recommend for all new players. The next few are a bit more subjective.

5) Roll what you can on whatever banner is currently available until you've picked up a decent number of 5-stars and a few 6-stars to build your team around. If there's a unit you really like that you know is coming soon, feel free to save, but otherwise I'd say your priority should be building a functional, well-rounded team. Once you've got your core team in place, roll for units that cover your weaknesses and fill in the gaps. Once you can handle most content without difficulty and don't feel like your team has any glaring deficiencies, then it's time to just roll for your favorites. Don't worry too much about missing out on an operator at the start. The game is reasonably generous with currency and the non-limited operators rotate through the standard headhunting banners pretty frequently.

6) If you like the game enough and have income to spare, I'd recommend buying the monthly pass/pack thing. It costs about 5 dollars per month and gives you daily stamina/Orundum. It'll help jumpstart your base and roster development by allowing you to farm and roll more.

7) Look up stage guides on YouTube if you get stuck. There are a few dudes who make a habit of doing low-rarity clears, so in many cases you can find a video that will tell you how to take your 3-4 star units, borrow a broken operator from a friend, and clear a stage you may be having trouble with.

Unit Teambuilding - Sygna Suit Roxie

Well this was a surprise. I admit, these alts aren't really my speed, but they were much anticipated and well received overall, so it all works out. I got my Roxanne, I'm good for the moment. So with that, this month's introduction is for you, @megazardx2.

General Overview Roxie comes in with stiff competition. Despite its placement as the worst type in the game around 8 months ago (and arguably holding it until about four), Poison has made an unbelievable recovery, sporting some truly excellent sync pairs. Roxie continues the trend. For the first time in a while, Roxie is a Special damage dealing Tech pair. And her DPS moves are...pretty good. Buddy move is AoE and inflicts -2 Sp Def per hit, while Overdrive is a nice 160BP 4-bar Electric move. Roxie's big claim to fame is similar to the Tapu: Double Field Effect. On Max Move, she sets Poison Zone with extension. As a 2MP move, she has Electric Terrain. Fast setup with +4/+3 trainer move is excellent, and she can grid for speed, boosting team speed per field effect activated to alleviate gauge (4/5), and has access to Free Moves Next 50% of the time when attacking a paralyzed foe. Roxie seems to hold up well compared to others in recent times for the Poison type, and has good secondary Electric for people like me who refuse to pull Kantonians and have none of the good Electric pairs.

So okay, why have I ultimately decided I'm not pulling from her? Well, aside from cutting back my spending, reflecting on how I didn't actually like any of the Tapu once I had them and regretting pulling them all, and recognizing that Roxie isn't one of my favorites and I actively dislike Toxtricity...her kit has some problems.

Buddy move condition is "foe has a status." It's broad enough that any status works, but Roxie can only apply status off her Electric Max Move, which removes Max Ooze as an option without support, and it's not guaranteed which status she rolls between Poison or Paralysis, so she's inconsistent as a partner for others who need one or the other, and like Emma, bad at Gauntlet due to status resetting between phases so often. Roxie's Tech nuke also feels underwhelming, with only a 90% bonus on grid, compared to Ariana's 200% with the same Role combo. Her debuffs, while nice for her and like two other contenders, ultimately does not support the big names in the Poison meta, instead just muscling H!Iris further out of a job by being better than her. Electric Terrain summoning is nice, but unless you have the speed to manage her 4-bar move and whoever else is attacking, it's not as clean as SST Red or SS Hau, who were fairly common pulls. And of course, there's a lopsidedness to her buffs, with Buddy move and sync being Poison but requiring Electric Terrain for full power, and her multiplier on Electric damage requiring Poison Zone. Roxie's kit is good, but kinda messy, and takes consideration to make the most of it. I'm not personally concerned about her performance overall, but in an effort to make better life choices, I don't see what she does as strictly essential.

EX, Role, and Move Level? Roxie's EX is nice because Tech nuke, without it her sync is rather middling. Role is Strike. If you're going to EX, role is well worth consideration. That said, Move Level can be 1/5, and EX is not necessary. All of the really nice supportive stuff is available 1/5 in her natural kit. You get your field effects and the debuffs and the status Max Move all right there. Investment is optional, depending on whether she's your frontliner or your backup.

Team 1: SS Roxie, H!Iris, BP Janine "Hey, but you said-" Iris' multipliers are all based on Sp Def debuffing that she's shit at, and now she has a Poison partner who can do it in three turns for her while dishing out fantastic AoE damage. Roxie's entire problem on Poison Zone is one application on Max Move, but Iris can call it back when it starts to run out just fine. As specially offensive pairs, they're able to utilize a bare minimum of support, and thus enters BP Janine, whose Sp Atk boosting comes with Spd and evasion, which is just delightful for them.

Team 2: SS Roxie, Oleana, Skyla While Roxie does not offer a ton to her Poison type allies because of mismatch, Oleana offers a hell of a lot to her thanks to a consistent Max Move that applies Toxic and Rebuff at the same time. Roxie loves this. It lets her get right to attacking, with no questions around what status is applied. Skyla is here because she buffs speed, which is all this team really needs. Roxie is able to use her Max Ooze to cap Sp Atk, so there's no need for any offensive support.

Team 3: SS Roxie, C!Elesa, SC Jasmine/NC Blue The other angle is letting Classic Elesa spread paralysis and debuffs for Roxie. The spread Paralysis is really the big component, as Roxie has access to Free Moves Next application on paralyzed foes, which really eases her Electric-type damage. I don't necessarily encourage C!Elesa as an electric partner, but she can do damage if supported by someone with Sp Atk/crit competence.

Team 4: SS Roxie, Drasna/Plumeria, BP Janine/SC Jasmine I'm bringing in general pool stuff for Roxie at 1/5, because I am still tempted to take dailies for utility. Drasna is worth noting, despite being secondary DPS, because she's so strong on-type. The inclusion of direct Toxic in her kit also frees up some of Roxie's needs on Buddy move. Plumeria is the other worth noting. Both of their spread damage receives AoE penalty, but if they can quickly remove sides, that all compresses on center. BP Janine is an option as always, her Team Sharp Entry is great for Drasna, while Plumeria still needs ungodly amounts of help because no expansion.

Final Thoughts I think SS Roxie is set to be good, but not a must-pull for anyone with recent Poison and Electric pairs. Oleana feels outright better to me, while Emma has comparable conditions to the buddy move, but emphasizes single-target damage that is obscene over the spread debuff utility. I like Ariana less despite her having a higher sync nuke. I think Roxie is neat, I just think her kit is a little wonky, and I have a tough time justifying it given my current roster. But watch, something in Poison High Score will have a Crobat weak to Electric and then I'll see. Maybe I can daily discount her...

So there was this person in the Omori discord server who drew fine in the Omori art style and my friend, a fellow Omori fan, sent it to me and I was super inspired. It just looked super pretty and my crops were watered and absolutely flourished!! My friend also helped me figure out who would be in Mari's role, with the options being past fine members and of course, Tsumugi had to die <3

I like him very much (and he is one of my favorite Enstars characters... just #5 though) so I wanna give him that really important role ahah

It only makes sense because he's the one who was the most affected by Eichi?? He really considered Eichi a friend and felt betrayed by his actions while Nagisa and Hiyori were just in fine on contract. I honestly do not know much about the Enstars story and it's been a while since I've finished Omori so idk...

But yeah, it has to be Tsumugi!

Anyways, Eichi wouldn't be a shut-in and only stay at home like Sunny. I see him in a coma after the events of the War and Tsumugi's death? And that's why he's in a dream world, where Tsumugi is still alive and things are starting to settle down.

The white egret orchid in the pic is basically a redraw of the one in Omori. The game says that it symbolizes the phrase "my thoughts will follow you into your dreams."

I associate it with Basil and I think he means well when he shows up in Sunny's dreams as Stranger.

As for Natsume... I'm giving him Stranger's role and he definitely does not have good intentions for Eichi so that line, "my thoughts will follow you into your dreams" would be more of a curse. He'd be constantly showing up in Eichi's dream world and trying to force him to remember what he's done.

The inciting event that forces Omori to explore the dream world with his friends (and him eventually remembering Mari's death) was looking for Basil, who is missing.

For Eichi, the inciting event would be Natsume stirring up a rebellion.

I don't think there'd be silly little creatures to fight like sprout moles and bunnies. The battles would be singing and dancing as per Yumenosaki style. Rebels would continuously spring up and challenge fine to a duel.

But of course, there'd be little side quests like Omori where fine, with 3 out of 4 members being part of the student council, have to do some work. I'm being vague because I have no clue. I can see quests being asked by students and they're like pinned to a bulletin board. Is Yuzuru even a part of the student council or was he just there to help Tori out?

As in their unit hasn't really officially formed yet. I just don't really see where they would fit?

Eichi is not just impacted by Tsumugi's death. Tsumugi is the face of his guilt and also stands for all the other lives that were lost in the War. A really fitting line I remember is Eichi's 4-star card for the Tempest event in which he says, "I'm destroying someone's dream." I had to check in-game so I guess the lines are actually: "I'm the one who crushes that dream. I, and my dream, could ruin the dreams of others." In order to make his wish of creating a utopia for idols into a reality, Eichi has crushed other people's dreams.

I can see him telling himself that they were necessary sacrifices but perhaps there's another small part of him (or it could be Natsume's thoughts entering his head) that asks if Tsumugi's death and the other deaths were actually necessary. Could there have been some world where all that pain could have been avoided?

Also I wanted Natsume to be on the right side of the canvas but the way I drew him, it only makes sense if he's on the left. His longer hair lock is on the left side of his face (if it was our pov, it'd be the right? I feel like I'm making this more confusing) and I want to keep it that way but if he was on the right side of the canvas, that longer lock would be on the wrong side...

Also fun fact, my friend shared that fine Omori art with me 178 days ago so about half a year ago... this has been in the back of my mind for some time but I'm glad I finally drew something and wrote my thoughts out.

The majority of my funky ideas are actually Twst-related even though I have yet to talk about any Twst characters or draw fanart of them...

Favorite Unfairness

One of my favorite unfair things in Kings Call is the crit and dodge systems, which simply say that every attack from any unit in your army rolls a d1000 with every attack. Once you have a weapon, your units have a 1% chance to crit, and each rank you add gives it +0.1%. Dunno if the max number of ranks is 12, 16, or 20, but you get the idea. A crit does double damage.

In the same vein, there's armor that says every time any unit in your army is attacked they roll 1d1000. They have a 1% chance to dodge, +0.1% per armor rank. Dodging reduces damage to 1/2 the previous value, rounded down. So instead of 5 a dodging unit will take 2. This stacks with armor and is counted before armor, so a unit with armor 2 that dodges a 5-point attack will take 0 damage total.

The unfair part of this that I love is that the AI units never crit or dodge. It wouldn't have been difficult to implement some equivalent level and declare that at this point monsters have x dodge and y crit and you have to work around that, but while it would have been possible it also would have been a mistake.

The thing is that a match in Kings Call is, fundamentally, a puzzle. Its average level is more like a puzzle than the most puzzle-like and gimmicky battle in your average JRPG.

There's a lot of reinforcing feedback, where losing a unit now means the rear line is exposed to enemy fire but having the unit hold the line might allow you to entirely heal it before your enemy gets another turn. Good news in Kings Call can beget a LOT more good news.

In this environment, having enemies sometimes deal double damage on an attack could easily make players feel like placing their units carefully doesn't matter. There's a basic difference in vibe between a game where I can place my unit and know that the unit behind it will survive, and a game where I can place my unit and think there's now a 98.5% chance the unit behind it will survive.

There have been other clever examples of this kind of design. In general while it can be more difficult to invent the initial math for because it's not about aiming toward straightforward equilibrium (or some variant thereof), I really love combat systems where the enemies Do Not Work The Same Way as the players. Shadowrift is a good example, of course, but one by someone else is Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, and more recently Diablo 4, where monsters have a stagger bar. Players don't. Fill up the stagger bar and the monster's stunned for a bit and you can wail on 'em.

Anyway. Neat stuff. When you're designing don't assume heroes and monsters have to be running the same software. That was one of the biggest things driving the awkwardness of high-level 3rd Ed D&D.

I’m seeing a lot of this attitude lately that watching YouTube videos with an adblocker is screwing over creators and I just want to throw my two cents out there:

If your favorite YouTuber puts out a new video every single day for three years and you watch that video every single day with ads for three years, you will have made them *drumroll* one cent. $0.01.

Additionally, I’ve had YouTube ads blocked for a while but if I recall correctly YouTube currently has two ads before each video; one longer ad that can be skipped after 5 seconds and one 10-second ad that you have to watch all of. So with ads, you are spending at least 15 seconds per video. 15 seconds times 365 days times 3 years is 273 minutes and 45 seconds, or about four and a half hours.

Four and a half hours of your time makes your favorite YouTuber one cent.

By contrast, a regular hourly job anywhere in the United States will make you at least $7.25 an hour. Around $5.80 after taxes, give or take. After four and a half hours you will have earned at least $26. Now suppose your favorite YouTuber has a branded mug that they sell through an online shop for $20. There will be shop fees and s&h and possibly customs fees, but you can generally depend on them keeping at least half of that, or $10.

$10 is one thousand cents.

Like, you know, you can leave ads on and earn the creator one cent over the course of three years (at least -- that’s assuming they post at least once a day) or you can just buy their merch for the same time commitment and make them one thousand times that. And have $6 left over. And a mug.

Even if you don’t have a job or can’t afford merch, clicking on a sponsored link in their video description is worth so much more than watching ads that are probably stupid or offensive anyway.

Warning: Rant about Menstrual Products

My new favorite thing is saying, "Do you have a source to back up those claims?" When someone tries to tell me silly things like, "tampons cause ovarian cysts."

What do these people that are making claims about conventional menstrual hygiene products being unsafe want to protect us from? They say that ovarian cysts, heavy periods, menstrual cramps, cervical cancer, PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids and infertility can all be avoided or the risks reduced by switching to cloth. This is a claim that I have been unable to substantiate. I have been unable to find that there are harmful levels of chemical substances in menstrual hygiene products. The substances I have been able to find evidence of the harmful nature of are only harmful if eaten or inhaled at levels well beyond those found present in these products. Water is harmful if ingested at levels beyond the typical dose! Water is harmful if inhaled! Should we stop drinking it?

Making these claims shames people with these conditions while giving the person saying them the illusion of control over their body. It takes the element of random chance away and puts it on the individual. You cannot reverse PCOS or prevent cancer by switching to cloth pads. You are also shaming people who cannot pay the upfront costs of cloth pads or the hidden costs of their safe use. Not to mention that some people do not like them and you're now shaming them for not wanting to walk around with a wad of wet cloth in their pants the entire time they're menstruating. This idea reeks of ableism, classism, and racism.

Let's talk about cloth pads and why they aren't a good option for the vast majority of menstruating people.

A menstrual cup or disk can be sanitized as many times as you want or need and can be washed easily and re-inserted if you feel it needs to be cleaned but don't have time to sanitize. Typical cost is $18-$35 and lasts about 3 years.

Absorbent period underwear runs about $15-$40 per pair and is a great option for light days or overnight use and uses the same technology that modern cloth diaper inserts use. If this is going to be your main product, you will need 2-4 per day for 2-3 days (assuming you wash them once or twice during your period) or 4-12 pairs at a cost of $60-$180 and typically last 1 year. Conventional pads and tampons are cheapest from a per product perspective. Not everyone can afford the upfront costs of alternative period products or the hidden costs either. (Hidden costs meaning laundry, cleaning, sanitizing) Conventional period products are sterile, easily available, and easy to use. Tampons have a per unit price of $0.19/$6.49 for a box of 36 of the store brand to $0.52/$8.29 for a box of 16 organic cotton tampons. Pads run a bit cheaper at $0.089/$4.29 for a package of 48 pads up to $0.749/$7.49 for a package of 10 organic cotton pads, with the typical price being $0.23-$0.45 per pad. If you use cloth pads, what is the provenance of the cloth used to make them? If you are buying premade cloth pads, how many are you purchasing? Keep in mind that you will need at least 3 per day for 5-6 days or 18-24 and a wet bag to store your used pads in while you are out and about.

If you are making cloth pads, what cloth are you using? What is the fiber content? How was that fiber sourced? Is it dyed? What processes did it undergo before you made something out of it? You could definitely make pads out of old clothes, fabric from the scrap bin, or other household rags, but if the reason you're switching to cloth is to avoid exposure to chemicals and possible absorption through the genitalia, this is probably worse. https://www.worldwildlife.org/industries/cotton....

How are you planning to launder and sterilize your cloth pads? You can't just put them in the washing machine on hot because that won't get the blood out or sterilize them. You'll need to soak them in a bucket with some peroxide in it to help remove the blood. You'll need to change the water and rinse several times until it runs mostly clear. Then you can chuck them in the machine, but that still won't sanitize your pads. You need to boil them in enough water for the heat to convect and the water to move through all the layers of the pad freely. You can also bleach or add white vinegar at this time for added sterilization power. During this time you will be breathing in bleach or vinegar steam. (This isn't touching the fact that cotton and rayon don't stand up to boiling very well over time. Linen, hemp, and other bast fibers would do very well, but are much more expensive to source)

How will you dry your pads? You'll need to wring them out and hang them, preferably in the sun to dry. You can't put them in the dryer because they're too wet and you can't put them in the washer because that will contaminate them. Probably best to hang them over a bush so that the UV light and the oxygen released by the bush further sanitize your pads.

Now your pads are clean, dry, and sterile. How are you going to store them so that they continue that way? You'll need to use a sterile container of some sort that won't let in moisture.
