Currently unrelated to what I have going on with Reprieve – this is more like...a bonus/extra 😉 Just a little scene that I couldn't get out of my head but I also knew that I wouldn't be able to fit it into my mini fancomic 😔

Thanks to @just-another-fanfiction-writer for making me feral enough to draw this as a standalone when we both realized we had this same exact scene playing out in our (apparently) shared mind theater lolll. The short dialogues she wrote about it (some of it’s featured in the version with speech bubbles) made me just – GRRRrrRRrRR – have to draw this to get it out of my system 😮‍💨🥵🫠💕

"Yeah, it really doesn't." Neil confirms for a third time.

Andrew nods, "Go check on Kevin." he says. "I'll meet you both at the checkout." he adds.

Neil nods, this is standard for them. Andrew mans the cart, and Neil tries to wrangle Kevin. He gets there and finds Kevin torn between a larger number of blueberries or organic. "You always pick quality over quantity." Neil reminds him knowing this whole song and dance before.

Kevin looks at him and then at the organic blueberries, "I guess I do." he says and with that he's done. He's settled on what vegetables and fruits he wants for the week for his salads and smoothies.

They go through the check-out separately. Andrew and Neil together and Kevin right behind them. Andrew puts the Cherry 7UP on the belt and hands it right to Neil once the cashier scans it. "If you don't like it, I'll finish it." Andrew says.

had this dumb idea where Rose gets confuse about her sexuality (she went to collage when she was 8. I doubt she really could focus on that. I think she’s 18/19 when the season starts) and like she can’t really talk to any of her team about it so (let’s say hypothetically the Mystic force/operation overdrive) and Vida just pops up like “Like I understand you. We can talk about that.”

It ends up with Rose venting and Vida listening and it ends with Vida kinda just giving the “it’s fine” shrug and saying something reassuring like “You’re into who you’re into. It took me awhile to figure out I find both men and women attractive. My green ranger and yellow ranger also had a bit of hard time figuring it out too but we found out in the end and we”re happy. We have family and friends who supported us”

i saw the broadway production on a field trip before i saw the movie and was also doing a dance that year to king of new york with my tap class which so happened to be the original choreography for part of it which i didn’t know until i was sitting in my little seat in the nederlander theater and went oh holy shit i know this and started doing it under my seat with them (ranks in top ten most magical moments of my life) and then that also kind of cemented professional live dancing in my brain cause i have never seen Dance Like That before so i am completely and inherently biased towards the live musical
