yourusername welcome back to my post game penalty box update show, céline dion fans and non-céline dion fans! tonight was the ducks home opener and it was a doozy!

first i want to address that my lil quackies have now won their home opener 8 years in a row and are now 20-9-1 in their 30 year history for home openers! and if you’re like me and ✨love✨ stats, then you’ll be thrilled to learn that mr. frank “the tank” vatrano is the FIRST DUCK EVER TO SCORE A HAT TRICK IN THE HOME OPENER! shoutout to mason, who passed frankie the puck so that he could score the empty netter for the hatty, and made me cry at how sweet he was! (yes, they got good job forehead kisses because i love them soooo much!)

now, on to the fun stuff that you’re all here for! my future husband and baby daddy got his first penalty tonight, and oooo lordy, he looked fine! seriously, like, you think you all were freaking out about how hot he was in the box? imagine how i feel! he’s coming home to me!

his penalty was for “holding the stick” against aho (queue the boos) he did not agree with the penalty and made sure to scoff at the refs so that they knew they made a ridiculous call (i legally have to be on his side)

but get this— the penalty was called 11 seconds into z’s shift, it was the 6th official power play for the canes! we love! (we don’t love that it resulted in a c*nes goal though)

what was my favorite part of the game, you ask? it was the scrum, of course! my mans tried his best in holding back pesce, but he really just clung onto him as he got dragged around the scrum because he… is pocket sized compared to pesce. the 9th photo is of z clinging onto him from behind. i imagine pesce’s inner monologue was like “if the child will not move off me, then i shall move with the child. i am undeterred by the diminutive boy.”

ANYHOOZLE, i’m so proud of my boys! especially jamie baby, who now has back to back assists! this is your reputation era, jd! i love you endlessly <3

and to my z-baby, i’m perpetually proud of you and i’m sure you’ll do something productive soon! i love you, always💜 (and you look hot as fuck in purple) (you should buy more purple)

The lightest blue of skies could only mean one thing, sunrise. when the darkness was slowly pushed away as the sun began to wake up from its slumber, and everyone would join it. You were no acceptation, every morning you’d wake up early just to immediately run off to the stables to tack up your horse, Stormy. You slid on your favorite cowgirl boots and left without warning, it’s not like your Dad didn’t do the same. Flynn the Bandit, the towns most wanted and feared cowboy, hence why you had lived alone since he was always on the run.

You skipped out of your cottage and ran through your daisy fields just outside, your curly h/c hair bounced as you did so, the cold breeze hitting your exposed skin might’ve mad you shiver, but it wouldn’t for long. You made it to the stable and slid open the ginormous red barn doors, using all your might. and sparking a glimpse at the young farm boy who worked at the barn, Remus Lupin… a dreamy boy, but his father was very protective of him, and dead set on him owning the barn one day. You didn’t think he would want that, but he was probably too nervous to speak up.

You shrugged your feelings off, and walked off over to see Stormy, you took a hand to his snout and ruffled his mane softly. You looked over to your side to see Remus standing timidly next to you. “Uh-uhm… Hi.” You could tell he was attempting to sound sure of himself. “Hi, Remus” You tilted your brown leather cowboy hat in a nod. “S’This your horse?” He asked with a small smile, “Stormy? Yeah, he’s mine. We’ve been riding together for probably years now.” You returned the smile, seeing the blush rise on his cheeks. “Lovely.” He stuttered out, fidgeting with his fingers nervously. “S-so… I was just wondering if… well… you’d like to go out?” He smiled adorably yet awkwardly. “with who?” You chuckled softly. “W-well Me, of course…” His blush rose up more as he corrected himself. “I mean— i don’t wanna be cocky or anything just… yourveryprettyandilikeyoulots?” He shrugged slowly and was probably red as a tomato. “Well I’m all booked today..” You started, “Of course, forget about it than—“

“But i’m free tomorrow”

“Really…?”

“See you then, Lupin.”

You shut yourself into Stormy’s stall, while Remus froze up for a minute or two, then went running off giddily. You blushed just from thinking about the encounter.

After that date out at the country club, you and Remus never seemed to stop talking. You found yourself spending entire days at the barn just chatting with him, and you even brought him along with you and Stormy for galloping in the woods. It was a simple thing, love. but the most amazing thing that had ever happened to you.

You were riding shotgun in his pickup truck, down the winding roads of the countryside. You seemed deep in thought, so he turned the music down. “Baby, is something wrong?” He asked, looking over at you while still paying attention to where he was driving. “Nothing,” You said, “I was just thinking how we don’t have a song.” You shrugged softly, smiling at the idea. “I’ll write one for ya.” He offered. “Really?” You looked up at him, hopeful. “Anything for you.”

Your window shook from someone knocking on it. It was late, you got up from your bed to investigate to the source. “R-Remus?” You were shocked, who is this and what did he do with your boyfriend? “Hi, sweet pea.” He jumped into your room. “What are you doing here? If anyone saw you they would’ve told your dad, and—“ You panicked, “Shh… It’s fine, I don’t care about what he thinks” He certainly felt bold, was the sweet and timid farm boy you knew gone? “Good, You shouldn’t” You kissed him passionately his lips, raising your arms up to run your fingers through his hair.

oh yes i retract (part of) my former statement to agree with this one. jakah tiny speedy boi. jakah can slice your ankles in a fight and you wont even see him. jino meanwhile is in a sort of txt taehyun or knk heejun situation where he seems like The Short One at a distance but in reality its only because everyone else in the family is a skyscraper and hes just like. average to moderately tall.

YEAH HSJDHDJBFJ MY THOUGHT PROCESS EXACTLY PRETTY MUCH. and yeah part of the reason i figured "hey i could probably justify this and make at least SOME sense" is that honestly the entire town we see sooha and chris in, along with the clothes theyre all wearing, has a VERY vintage/victorian/18th century vibe to it. and it would be sort of logical maybe to say that, after getting the warning from the orphanage via chris's murder, sooha's mom just goes "fuck this its time to pull out the big guns" and straight up freezes she and her daughter in time for a few centuries. it may be a little extreme but WHATEVER this is all for fun anyway (i also like the idea of, in the scenario where the orphanage creates multiple generations of these superpowered kids, each generation is a little more toned-down power-wise than the last; with the first generation, the orphanage probably went full-speed, god-level superpowers on the babies, but the powers were SO INTENSE that the kids' bodies crumbled in under a year. so they went HM well that didnt work and watered it down more and more with each generation, until the brothers' generation at which point they went "HEY we can just make these fuckers IMMORTAL and then they can be as op as we want them to be!")
