i guess what i will say about hualian so far is that overall i like them and i like how they interact in general they have a lot of nice moments and they just genuinely seem to like each other which is really nice to see EXCEPT for when it actually comes to things that could be romantic or sexual which is a shame bc i dont think it has to be like this. again disclaimer that im only reading a translation and dont know everything might not have all the knowledge necessary to accurately criticize etc etc and im assuming a lot of this is expected from the genre (disclaimer to this disclaimer that i cant say that for sure its just based on things ive picked up about the bl genre over the years) but idk like xie lian was so distressed after their underwater kiss scene. it was kind of uncomfortable to read and maybe im being unfair i know his cultivation is based around abstinence or whatever but idk i dont care for it. and that scene alone doesnt have to be a bad thing like idk i guess its his first kiss ever (?) and it would make sense if he feels weird about it but i just have my doubts thats going to be addressed or resolved in a satisfying way. also im like. dude everyone is like centuries old. xie lian’s been on earth for 800 years. has he really never met or heard of a gay person during all this time? maybe he hasnt idk what he got up to yet maybe that’s actually a thing. also same thing with the reactions from the immortals to xie lian in a dress and characters like the windmaster like again you’re all centuries old and its not uncommon to be able to just completely change gender presentation. why are you all weird about a man wearing a woman’s dress? i just feel like that shouldnt be a big deal to these characters idk

also again not going to lie part of this that im not really a big fan of reading romance in general. yes i am reading this book. yes i do read and write a lot of fanfic that includes or centers romance. im multifaceted. but really what im talking about is the like physical side of it and descriptions im extremely picky about it. ill give an example. early on in the torture pit (or whatever it was called i cant remember lol) when xie lian kind of accidentally felt up hua cheng in the dark when he was being carried. i dont think thats a bad thing to have happen between the two romantic leads i think thats fine and good to include that early but i just did not enjoy reading it when it happened idk maybe it was the wording and i do think that moments like these work better in a visual medium. ive definitely read het romance that reads like this and i wasnt a fan of that either lol same with fanfic i get tired when writers go on and on about how hot one characters finds another character. this isnt a huge criticism of it like i said im picky but again like with the way that hua cheng is described it just makes me roll my eyes sorry kings

okay back to the reading. this whole saving the fishermen thing feels like a big set up for something narrative-wise. hua cheng specifically insisted on coming and i know one of the characters involved ends up dying im wondering if thats now it would be a good time tbh if things get just a bit too unfortunate during this heavenly calamity... and the brothers are notably not having a harmonious time... also tho it feels very likely we’ll just have another Hualian Moment (tm)

whereas for wonyoung and yujin, their both still young so I think they’ll finish school before re-debuting in groups plus yujin will be attending sopa

especially wonyoung, we all know that she’s actually really smart and is good at academics, i also think she might do modeling work, she fits the criteria

i also kinda see yujin pursuing an acting career because she will be in the theatre and film department in sopa. unless starship is going to debut a new girl group, I hope that yujin can debut as a soloist instead

PENTAGON: First Impressions VS Now! 

   since it's ptg's 3rd anniversary, and i've been an uni for over a year now, i thought it would be a fun idea to compare my first thoughts about all the members to how i think of them now! i got the idea from i got7 inspirits on youtube, so check them out if you're interested!

I first heard "gorilla" back when it released, but since i avoided stanning rookies at the time- i decided to give it some time before stanning. flash foward to august 2018 where my interest is piqued again. at that time last year, i had thought that they were pretty cute but having literally only heard gorilla and then shine, i was caught off guard by their sound change. It wasn't bad per say- just different. overall, i knew pentagon would be a group that i'd like- but more along the lines of a casual thing. 

now:

y'all already know how whipped i am for these idiots!!! their music and videos and even choreos are my style completely, especially their cute concepts!! we love dancing infants! and also, they're all such throughly good people which makes me so happy. this isn't a casual stan thing in the slightest, and it's funny to think I ever believed it would be. 

Hui: 

then:

when i saw him in shine, i thought he was a d o r k. i think it was the way they styled his hair, but i was just very convinced that he was pretty lame lmao. after that though, i saw how cute he was and he became my bias for a while. i remember thinking at one point that he seemed like an exasperated dad?? i didn't really have any basis for it but that observation was there nonetheless. 

now:

exasperated dad? more like hyper 3 year old. hes literally one of the loudest and most energetic. what was i on. but i think hes the most precious and clingiest little toddler now!! i was right about the dork thing though, but its super cute how goofy and lame he is. also!! talent for days!! his dancing, singing (his falsetto is !!), composing is all incredible. the most important thing though? a godly leader. he's so caring and kind and full of love for his members it hurts me. we don't really see a serious leader hui, but thats okay because i think it means he tries to keep uni and ptg in good spirits by showing them cheerfulness. and that's amazing to me.

Jinho:

my most notable thought about jinho in shine was "how is he that small". i remember thinking it was cute how he pushed the giant one too, lmao. i didn't think much else of him beyond that, other than noticing how adorable he can be. 

now:

ok yeah, jinho is cute and tiny and whatever- but now i Understand the power that he holds. how he looks with his hair pushed back for example. or how about that bruno mars cover he did with hui. (hhhhnngg). also?? he's not even That small. the ones that make him look itty bitty are Literally just giants. but aside from his appearance, jinho is probably my favorite vocalist like!! i appreciate him s o much. (listen to his cover of gethsemane and last night of october for clear skin) of course jinho is also very cute though!! so i was right about that at least! he just also has many other great sides to him that i worry are overlooked!

Hongseok:

i didn't,,,notice him. at ALL. like i just glossed over his existence completely when i first saw shine. and even after that- it took me a minute to pay him any mind. when i did finally notice him though, i noticed his smile. i remember i was watching videos with my girlfriend and i pointed him out to her! that was mostly because i felt bad for not really having any strong opinion on him though oops. anyways i ended up just thinking he was a mom. and i was really impressed by his english and strength.

now:

real talk, it pained me to write all of that out!! bc now?? omg hong is my everything- but thats kind of obvious. anyways!! hes so  f u nn y !!! its absolutely a stupid kind of funny and hes definitely annoying but i adore it. also the mom thing is only kind of true. he has the capacity to be maternal and take care of them, but he's way more likely to make fun of literally every single member. he's more like an older brother that never leaves his siblings alone and thinks he's funnier than he is. and we hate him for it. anyways, his voice is So underrated im. angery. he has such a beautiful voice, just in general, and on top of that- his singing is lovely. like yes, more hong solo please. 

Hyojong:

i definitely took note of him immediately! his voice is very distinctive, and he stands out a lot in shine. which is really saying something. i thought he was really talented for sure! and i almost felt he was too cool for me to be looking at. i kind of got the vibe he'd be pretty icy i guess? 

now:

he's not intimidating at all. like not even a little bit. bc he's not taking himself as seriously as i thought he was lmao. also hes so   l o u d . and a plant man. but i think the best thing about edawn is his unpredictability! i never really know what to expect from him and i like that. 

Shinwon:

then:

i thought he was HOT. i already thought he was handsome in the 0.3 seconds of screentime he got in shine. but a friend of mine showed me clips of him from that couples game video and. o o f. i really couldn't get over how pretty he was. it didn't help that this was the same video where him and kino were doing that dance. personality wise, i don't remember much standing out to me. other than how easily scared he is.

now:

shinwon is soooo embarrassing. i wouldn't say hes completely shameless about it though, but he's shameless to the point of actually doing the stupid shit so im. still enraged about it. he legitimately makes me physically look away sometimes when im watching a video and he's being weird. theyre all my kids, and i love them. but he's the child im ashamed of lmao. moving on, hes a real cutie pie. that fact that he gets so scared so easily is both really funny and super endearing. but he's just a playful baby and im honestly glad that hes has so much fun.

Changgu:

i noticed him less than hongseok. like i dont think i had a single notable first impression of him. 

now:

past dess was one entire Doofus huh. like changgu is a whole ass blessing to this planet and you mean to tell me that she overlooked him??!! anyways, though, he has an elephant heart for sure. such a genuinely empathetic and truly kind person!! he never fails to warm my heart with his sincerity and i love that about him. he's also part of the idiot squad though, with how he goes along with hong's antics. we hate that. and all his impressions + dumb faces. speaking of faces though,,, his acting?? i love it!! he's really talented, like when i watch pretty pretty i kind of forget that changgu is even playing a role. and his d a n c i n g!! underrated dance king! underrated king in general, how about that. 

Yanan:

my first bias in ptg!!! i fell in love with him instantly! i loved how tall he is, and the white hair and his  i c o n i c "my baby"!! like i was whipped from the gate. i remember liking his duality back then too!!

now:

ok so, since he was bias immediately, i noticed more about him than anyone else. which means i have less to write oops. but thats okay because at least i had a bit of taste back then. but, yanan is hilarious. he's so clever and funny and you can tell how effortless it is. most iconic ptg sayings are something from yanan and thats just amazing. the big thing i notice now that i didn't really before, though, is that fact that his duality is so shocking because he's literally just as unpredictable as hyojong. its impossible to really tell what hes going to do next, and i think it catches people off guard more with yanan because even that aspect of him is unexpected. 

Yuto:

i thought he was kinda scary!! idk he seemed so cold and i couldn't really relate to that so i didn't grow very attached to him. 

now:

he's so pure!!! hes said that he has a hard time expressing his feelings but i don't really see it? because he always seems so happy to be around ptg and having fun with them even if he isn't usually the one playing around!! he loves them so much tbh and its the sweetest thing :( everything about yuto is so sweet, because he cares a lot about the people around him and doesn't want anyone to get hurt- even if its fake or a joke. and like, he's really hardworking too!! ptg have said multiple times that he works the hardest, and that really is saying something imo! and like, you can just see it even without being told that. whether its his workout journey pentory or the fact that he's literally been learning guitar. also!! omg the lyrics he writes?? heartwarming, romantic and life changing!! seasons and cosmo made me a different person. but yeah, he's such an amazing, warm person and i cant believe i found him scary. 

Kino:

i thought he was the main vocal. like no joke, he was so charismatic and flaunting so  much in shine that i was like "ah yes. the main vocalist" hhhggg. i remember thinking he was pretty though, and that his stage name was super cute. but i wasn't very interested in learning about him, despite how he really caught my eye. for some reason, though, i eventually got the thought that he was really pure.

main vocal hdzfhh kino relax you're confusing ppl. of course he has an amazing voice and it always sounds incredible but!! what amuses me is the way he sings always sounds kinda like he's trying to be sexy and?? its so funny in ballads and stuff imo. but yeah, that "sensual"?? singing is what threw me off back then. buf more importantly, i just wanna mention the pure thing- because its a confusing situation. on one hand, kino has a heart of gold that not only adores uni but is also accepting. as well as how he's constantly bringing light into the world with his words and truly bright outlook. but on the other hand he's a demon that dances like That and is so dangerous when he wants to be!! so!! what's it gonna be kino, make up your mind :( anyways, listen to knnovations. esp bad timing and 224.12!!

i loved him instantly. he looked like an overgrown 10 year old in my eyes and that's just. precious. i thought he was pretty funny too!!

if i took off my hong glasses for long enough, id be able to say that i think he's the funniest in ptg. because he's so hilarious in my eyes like? he makes me do an ugly wheeze laugh, and a lot of my favorite ptg moments involve him in some way lmao. but he is actually a baby, so i was onto something there with the overgrown 10 y/o thing. despite being really funny though, i do think he tends to be quiet more often than like hui or shinwon and he hardly ever smiles, unless he's like laughing and thats makes me think that he's kind of awkward?? not in like a bad way, but i just kind of see that i guess. but!! something that i think is passed over a lot with woo is the fact that he usually has a hand in composing, and also that he writes his raps?? like that's so cool, we love that!!

• likes to burn things. god damnit. they like to burn things, guys. but they enjoy it so much, you just cant hate them, you can only feel a sympathetic joy that this precious lunatic is having fun in their own little world.

• canonically mentally ill (schizoprenia? it could be hallucinogenic drugs but i like to think its schizophrenia.)

• a gas mask that can function as both badass, and completely adorable.

look I'm sorry, I love Soldier and he was gonna be tied with Pyro but that fucking puppy drawing sold me.

• absolute gold every second he speaks. he could sneeze and i'll laugh.

• such a dumbass you cant get annoyed at him for it. like. just agree with him and move on. no point reasoning with a boulder. "haha! silly Miss Pauling, thinking theres different types of blood." Medic: "haha yes! indeed, silly."

• i'm not American and even i can see how blatantly his character mocks stereotypical Patriotic Americans™. but its so dumb and laughable, its adorable.

• the first "meet the Mercs" video i ever saw was "meet the Soldier" so he holds a special place in my heart

• I'm Scottish. even though his accent is absolute garbage (no offense to the VA), any representation is very nice.

• he's a drunk guy who blows shit up for shits and giggles and god I wish I could too, sounds like a miracle stress-reliever.

• his sassy black scottish mother. combining the stereotypical black mother with the stereotypical scottish mother is literally the best thing that ever happened.

• the bit in the comic where Medic explains that Demo can't remember what happened to his eye bc he scooped out part of his brain, and the look on Demo's face. just. the look.

the short answer would be basically in every way bUt imma do it part by part.

okay so, in a simplified version i’ve had relationships with people whose personalities worked well with me but who were shitty girlfriends or a good girlfriend who just didnt really fit with my personality. i’ve actually given that so much thought even before i met cass, but the point is that i met her and she was just perfect for me in both ways (technically its more complicated bc theres a bunch of logic into this that im not explaining bc my mind is weird and it would be Way too long but anyways). but ok let get into How she fits me perfectly.

first of all literally no one ever in my entire life has made me laugh as easily and genuinely as she does. im not even exaggerating, like laughing was never really A Thing for me to look for in girls bc it just never happened???? like i had fun conversations and stuff but there was never anyone that made me go “holy shit i have never laughed this much with anyone else” and we have So many inside jokes, which is a thing that i almost never have????? and i always used to wish i did bc everyone would talk about it and i’d feel like i just wasnt funny and That was the problem. and also this is really important bc its one of the things that made me realize that i liked (and eventually, came to love) her. bUT its not the only one so theres also like all these things that we like and we can talk about for HOURS like i remember when i watched infinity war and the first thing i did when i got home was call her and we talked about it for like 2 hours idek but it was great. the point is, we have a bunch of shared interests (which isnt like 100% necessary but its still really nice), wHICH LEADS ME TO: her music taste is amazing and i love that so much bc i love music With My Entire Soul and its the best thing in the fucking world (after cass & my friends and tied with the ocean) but yeah thats great too. AND i think more importantly than the last 2 things is that she is literally so fucking easy to talk to. like ever since the beginning we didnt really have that awkward phase where we run out of things to talk about and the conversation keeps dying like we never had that it just flowed so well and that was such a good feeling. another thing is also how comfortable i feel talking to her.

like i have never felt this way with any of my girlfriends bc i was always scared that i was gonna be annoying or say something Wrong and they’d start to realize i sucked and then break up with me, but shes just so kind and idk she just has this way about her that makes me feel at home and its always been there like i dont believe in love at first sight or anything like that but i swear to god the day after i met her i already felt like i could tell her anything and that was such a comforting thing and i needed that so badly at the time. i dont feel like i was able to describe this aspect very well tbh like im not doing it justice. like, she makes me feel like im not annoying at all, and like i could just randomly start ranting about anything and she would be like super invested in it, and just literally so comfortable in every sense of the word. she is my home, no ifs ands or buts, i just feel it every single time that we talk or that i simply think about her, and i have never felt this so clearly with anyone. and i think this comfort i feel with her is kinda connected with how she has always made me felt so appreciated, in a way that no one has ever done. like, i had like 2 tags about my wants and needs in a relationship, there was “my dream girl” to remind me that i shouldnt settle for anyone after i got out of a rlly bad relationship, and there was “things i wish someone would tell me” after my “first” relationship (i dont really count it bc Officially™ we only dated for a week) because my gf at the time would almost never be affectionate with me and it made me really insecure so i started that tag as a way to vent kinda. anyways my point is that i made those tags bc i would always feel super anxious in my relationships bc i never really felt loved or even wanted (aka the good personalities awful gfs relationships) i just felt like a burden and it was such a big thing for me.

okay now i’ll say that there Kinda was an exception to this before cass, because it would be unfair to say that that relationship was detrimental to my mental health, but it was still different. like, that ex did make me feel wanted most times, but not only did i still have A Lot of insecurities about the whole thing bc of some things she would say and do or not say and not do and i’d get like super uncomfortable or just sad really but also bc whenever the conversation would start to die out i was Absolutely Certain that she was gonna break up with me. it was pretty bad im not even joking. and like ofc my anxiety isnt her fault OR responsibility and like sure i still get anxious about cass sometimes but its not like that its basically just when she doesnt answer for a long time i think that something bad might have happened but even when my rude ass brain does try to tell me that she doesnt love me i KNOW that its not true, and that is a kind of peace that i have never ever had before. but anyways, so that was the good gf whose personality didnt fit mine and its weird now bc that is so obvious but i really didnt wanna believe it at the time even though i knew it wasnt gonna work out, but now its just really weird ngl (but i wont get into the why).

and now cass. wow okay let me tell you about cass. she is perfection. she is literally everything i have ever wanted AND things i didnt even know i wanted. she is everything no one else ever was and i just remembered that when we started dating in may i said that exact same sentence to abby. its just so true, she really is everything that no one else could be. because theyre not her. i’ve said this a lot of times but i really dont see how i could ever love anyone else after loving her, it just doesnt make sense to me because she really is like,, as good as it gets. there is no one better than her for me. we’re literally meant to be i s2g like when we broke up for a while i would tell everyone i wasnt really trying to move on at all bc i just hoped she would come back to me and i couldnt miss that chance. i knew she was my soulmate, although at some points i lost almost all hope (but never all) and i started thinking that maybe she was the love of my life but i wasnt the love of hers. and thats bc she really is everything ive ever dreamed of like she has all these little things that she does or say that sometimes wouldnt even mean anything to other people but to me they are So important bc theyre things ive dreamed about while my ex girlfriends ignored me akcjsjxn like, i was talking about how comfortable she feels to me and a big part of that comes from little things like the fact that even when we were just friends she would spam me when i was gone for a long time and that not only made me feel missed and appreciated but also it meant i could do that to her and it wouldnt be annoying bc she felt the same!! like, she missed me too! and me knowing that she actually Wanted to talk to me and the fact that she actually showed me she cared was super great when we started dating bc it made me feel like if i was feeling sad or insecure, i could literally just ask her to be a little more affectionate and it wouldnt feel fake bc i actually knew she cared. and you have No idea how much that meant to me bc i literally didnt know it was possible for me to feel that way. like honestly i thought it was an innate aspect of who i am that like if i asked for affection it would be meaningless? bc i’d be lowkey forcing the person to say something? but with her it felt different bc we had enough intimacy for me to feel comfortable enough to do that.

HOWEVER i never actually Had to do that bc i got insecure exactly once (1) on the first night we started dating back in may bc i didnt know how much she liked me and i was like in love with her so i thought she would think i was too much and then i told her i was sad and that i was gonna sleep and the next day when i woke up she said something along the lines of “how are you babe bc i remember you said you were sad last night and i couldnt stop thinking about it bc i want you to feel good all the time” and thats something so small but wow it just meant so much to me bc i would cry and beg any fucking force in the universe to make my last ex do Anything At All to try to make me Not Sad and it would be awful and i would feel so so unloved and then cass just said that and something clicked in me and i never doubted her feelings to an actual Meaningful extent while we’ve been together anymore (like ofc i get insecure sometimes and especially when we broke up, but while we have been dating ive never gotten like actually Sad™ specifically bc i wasnt sure she liked me) but it gets even better because some of the things she does are so so special that i never even imagined them like shes literally unreal, i literally never thought someone like her existed and its just so wild to me that i get to be with her.

and i know im saying a bunch of cliches but i mean it all so much like i remember when i was dating one of my exes i was learning her first language but she didnt try to learn mine and i really wished she would bc i just always loved the idea that someone would do that for me?? so you’re in high school 

and ever since high school started you became best friends with a girl called somi 

you guys had different personalities, you were more on the shy side and she was more outgoing 

but somehow you guys clicked and found that you guys had a lot of things to talk about and common interests 

also during this time produce 101 is airing and you’re absolutely addicted to the show 

and lee daehwi, the first centre literally swooped you off your feet 

he was no doubt your bias and you’d been voting for him like crazy everyday 

and ofc since somi was your best friend you’d always rant about how cute and talented lee daehwi was and somi would just sigh and roll her eyes sometimes 

well one day at school your class is given a project to be completed in pairs and obviously you and somi are a pair 

usually you two would complete your work at the library but since the weather was really horrible 

you guys decided to head to your place over the weekend 

and you guys do that except you dont get the work done 

so you guys decide to go to somi’s place sometime after school next week to finish it 

and tbh you’ve been very curious about where somi lives

even though you guys are best friends you guys always met either in public or at your place

you were just super curious as to what her house was like and why she was lowkey secretive about where she lived

“well…i guess you never asked whether i had siblings or not” replies somi nervously 

“hmm yeah fair enough, well what its like having a twin brother? what’s he like” you ask excitedly

you’d  never met anyone that had a twin before and u suddenly find out that your best friend in fact has a twin brother which makes you feel kinda weird and excited 

“it’s alright, we’re just like any other sibling pair, he can be slightly annoying sometimes but he’s a good brother overall. i miss him” replies somi looking down 

“ohhhhh where is he? does he go to high school here?” you asked wondering if somi’s twin was actually at your school and completely hidden from u 

“no he doesn’t”

“where does he go then? and what’s his name? what does he look like?” you asked bombarding somi with questions as you were super curious now

since somi was one of the prettiest girls in the school you were lowkey thinking maybe somi’s twin is really hot HAHA

“i actually can’t say his name but he’s really ugly” says somi laughing

“why not????” you ask somi, “is he a spy or something?? with a hidden identity???” 

somi shook her head laughing at you as you continued to pester her about her twin 

“you’ll see tomorrow when you come over” says somi “i think things might change when you see who it is” as she sighs

now you were C U R I O U S as to why somi kept it so secret 

and for some odd reason, who somi’s twin brother was was all you thought about for the rest of the day 

your thoughts went wild as you thought, what if he’s actually a spy? or illegal? a criminal? someone dangerous? what if he’s the youngest ceo in our country?

and for some seriously odd reason you were excited to meet somi’s twin brother 

the next day you head to somi’s house with the address typed in google maps 

you rang the doorbell and somi opened the door

as you stepped in you saw how the house wasn’t too big nor was it too small it was quite spacious and clean and very cozy 

you saw some baby pictures placed up on a shelf of somi and her twin; you recognised somi easily and the twin brother was really cute too 

you guys take a seat on the big couch and start working on the project when suddenly you hear footsteps come down the stairs 

you were super focused on your work tbh so you didn’t look up 

until a voice says 

“hey sis is this your friend that always talks about me?” 

and the voice is SO FAMILIAR 

and you’re suddenly afraid to look up 

you do recognise that voice but no way it just couldn’t be 

silence 

“yep it is” says somi, “look at the state she is in now” 

your entire body was frozen and wouldn’t react and you were looking at the ground

“she’s so cute like that” says the voice

you feel your cheeks go bright red and your heart suddenly beating extraordinarily fast 

you close your eyes and tell yourself you are dreaming 

you take a deep breath and look up 

and you are met with a pair of the most gorgeous eyes you have ever seen; one eye was monolid and the other was double lidded but honestly that was what was attractive about him 

it was truly lee daehwi lmao sorry i made it so so dramatic haha

he was smiling down at your with the sweetest and cutest smile 

“hello y/n! it’s nice to finally meet you!” says daehwi cheerfully 

“u-h-h hello– daehwi-ssi” you stutter nervously as you die internally 

daehwi laughed and his laughter was like a beautiful melody

“no need to be formal y/n, we’re the same age! you don’t look great right now, i’ll grab a glass of water for you” says daehwi as he heads to the kitchen 

when he’s gone you turn to somi straight away 

“DUDE WHY DIDNT U TELL ME DAEHWI WAS UR BROTHER?? i wouldn’t have fangirled over him to you and its sooooo embarrassing” 

“chill y/n it was actually pretty funny, you totally have a crush on my twin, look at ur face” says somi laughing 

“sTOP omg this is all ur fault im so embarrassed, i embarrassed myself in front of my bias” you say as your bury your face in your hands

“seriously y/n this is your chance to talk to him and i don’t usually say this about that idiot but he’s actually a very nice guy, so don’t be nervous anymore” 

you take deep breaths and try to collect yourself before daehwi comes back 

when he does you’re much calmer even though you still feel like you are living in a dream 

“here’s your water” says daehwi as he hands over the glass of water

both your finger trips lightly made contact and you felt your heart racing again 

“thanks daehwi” you say giving him a shy smile 

he asks what the project is about and starts helping you guys and in no time you guys are done 

and daehwi is super friendly and outgoing so in no time you get really comfortable around him

and realise that HES JUST A REALLY NICE AND KIND HUMAN like any human and not some “far unreachable star that’s like a god” 

you find out he has cute habits and loves cleaning and fashion and wants to make people happier through his music

you guys talk for the next two hours getting to know each other and you tell him that you’ll continue to support him on produce 101 and he’s super thankful 

at this rate somi had literally fallen asleep and is taking a nap on the sofa 

he opens up about how it’s hard to meet people’s expectations and that he doesn’t want to disappoint others and you guys have really deep conversations 

and in no time it’s already dark outside 

and daehwi even offers to walk you to the bus stop 

and he puts on a black hoodie with the hood up just in case ppl recognise him anyone watching school 2017 bc i love x’s outfit hehe

you guys reach the bus stop

“y/n it was nice meeting you and i was able to get my mind off things thanks to you”

Well, I think I'm getting along fairly well with the tribe thus far, at least I don't think I've done anything wrong. I've made jokes about making a 4-man alliance with the voice-chat group which may end up happening, ideally if I can find myself in the majority or just not in the minority would be ideal. I'm guessing this won't be like my first season where I win the first 5 challenges and don't go to tribal. But I could be wrong, that's a previous game luck that I'd like to repeat.

we love a 4 hour call on night one accompanied by a majority alliance. I'm already werkin that social game. So yeah um the game just started tonight and things are going perfectly?? I get along fantastically with my tribe, we're probably super strong challenge wise, AND (it bears repeating) I'm in a majority alliance night 1 bitch!! And going back to challenges, it's a MUSIC VIDEO. I love music videos so much. It's gonna be so much fun. I ain't gonna be first boot! I love being extra so here's my overall first impression of my tribe mates Amanda - if I had to choose right now, she'd be my f2.  I'm so excited to work with her Bodhi - He is... a character. I think I might have trouble personally connecting with him but I need more time to feel him out Dani - QUEEN. I don't know her but she seems so fun, and she seems like she's gonna be insanely useful in the music video challenge bc she's an editing queen Kori - He is absolutely nothing like I expected. He's very strong socially and strategically, and I'm actually insanely excited I get to work with him in our alliance. He just seems super fun and interesting, prob one of my faves Nicholas - King. Legend. Definitely going to be a threat later on. Honestly could have been part of the alliance if he had been on call lmao Timmy - This is my 5TH game with this man. Everytime we play together our dynamic is different. But now we have are already officially working together this early, which has never happened before. Really happy I was on the call last night because that ended in an alliance. It was funny how while on call Kori was making his document about everyone and actively saying his opinions on people while we can all hear him. If it's ever useful I'm going to throw that out there (not the doc, just what he said). But also I feel he is going to forget that he gave us the link and he is going to add other alliances he is in throughout the game to his other facts section, and I now have that link saved on chrome so I will be checking back at it periodically. But Amanda and I were messaging each other during the call kind of in shock that he was saying all that and we were wondering if he would give us all that information, AND THEN HE DID. It wasn't even that difficult to get. Kori is really nice and for now it is smart to work with him but I feel that down the line he is going to become a liability. Really hoping we win this first challenge so we don't have to go to tribal but if we somehow lose then I'm going to push for Bodhi to go because he is too cocky and I don't like him.

Hello, the robbed king of navarino is back and ready to snatch the win this time! So where do we begin? I’m on this tribe who’s name I don’t remember because I never remember tribe names, oops. Most of these people are familiar faces to me but not many are that close with me, so I’ll do a quick tribe assessment. Anna - This is my first time meeting her. We’re only talking about Netflix shows right now to hit it off. I didnt follow her season too closely but I think she’s the girl who went to every tribal and lost at FTC, and some people were mad at her?? She said in her intro she’s ready to be the villain again so hmmm, first off there can only be one villain, me. Second off, makes me know to be a little bit weary of you. Andrew - I am SO happy he’s cast. Definitely the closest person to me on this tribe, and hopefully he feels the same way lolol. I want to work very closely with Andrew and hopefully we make it deep. Kevin - We player enchanted together and were on good terms but he went out on a tribe swap. Don’t have much of an opinion game wise. Nathan - Just player furby with him, just gave him third in that, oops. We had a rocky time together in that game and he gave me red flags all the time there because I felt like he was doing a lot of stuff behind my back (which he was) but I just want us to be on good terms here to start. Nicole - Nicole is a really nice person, we aren’t super close though and haven’t been that close in games before. I also know she’s a good player, so I am gonna keep an eye on here. Rhône - Oh Rhône, player my first ORG ever with him. We were the first tribe to go to tribal, he was targeting me, i got people to flip onto my side and we voted him out and then he called me a dick and deleted me. 6 months later... we’ve added each other back LOL. But he extended an olive branch and I never held a grudge against him anyways so ofc I’ll move past it so he doesn’t have a target on me. But we’ll see how things go down later on!

Well after a full day has gone by it seems I'm in a majority alliance, which in theory is good for me. Though I've also been working on Dani and she says she was approached for a majority alliance, that COULD be the alliance I'm already in and put in the effort of having formed, but it could also be another alliance in the works that I'm not part of, so I'm gonna have to keep my eyes peeled. (It's possibly that the alliance I'm currently part of is not even like a real alliance, in that I could be the only one who's considering it seriously.) Meanwhile Bodhi as much as I like the guy, I feel like he was being a bit too stubborn about the song selection, that could have rubbed people the wrong way, and I think he'd be safe person to recommend for elimination, but with this other alliance potentially floating around, I dunno could be dangerous.

We picked the best song on the list (not for the comp, but just best in general), but of course we're doing a BULLSHIT COVER OF IT. It's from a movie I think? Those two have completely taken over creative control for this challenge, aside from tasking Dani with editing the whole thing. But no one has ANY idea what Dani is going to do. UGHHH SERIOUSLY? Literally every time I play a Survivor ORG I go to tribal first. I AM SICK OF IT. But I haven't been the first boot yet... So let's hope it continues? It's really annoying being on a small tribe because no one is really "inactive" so there doesn't seem to be much of an easy way out. I guess Kevin could be an easy name to say because he didn't participate, but I still talk to him and he probably has connections on the tribe. I don't want to get into hot waters by saying any names RN... So my goal is to talk to everyone, see if names comes to me, and keep close with Andrew because I'd hope he would tell me if I'm in danger. Not exactly how I expected my first week back in the Athena series to go... but I can’t say I’m surprised either. Going into tribal, I feel like I’ve made the most connections I possibly could have and I’ve got Anna and Jake for sure on my side. It’s deciding WHO I want out that’s the problem. I could get out Rhône who is a clear threat to my game later on, or Kevin who didn’t participate at all. It’s all about balancing out when to make personal game moves and game moves to help the tribe... and I’ve only got one shot at redemption. So it may be time to go for the jugular and ensure my safety later on by campaigning against Rhône.

The Quality of Talio’s fucking video gave me explosive diarrhea. Who edited(?) using a potato? It’s wild Maury. If our tribe ever loses Emily WILL be bullied out of this community. Anyways I’m in an alliance with Julia, Blake, and Ryan called “Bullies R Us” in honor of the late Toys R Us company and we’re all bullies so the name stuck.

I feel calm now, I can breathe. It's a good day. It's such a great feeling to have immunity and know I won't be first boot. I'm really proud of the tribe because we were able to get it done. I am so thankful for Dani being able to edit that video because that must have taken a lot of time and energy, and also really happy that we were the only tribe to have all of our members participate. Good luck to the person on Talio who didn't...although I don't know why they didn't so they could be fine. Also really happy I don't have to deal with tribal tomorrow because I'll be at a party so I wouldn't be able to talk to as many people. Like yea I have an alliance and I trust them, but I would have liked the ability to make my plan happen if we were going to tribal. But we're not so I'm happy.

Well, we won our first challenge, which is great, my idol search has been uneventful, and Dani wants to form an alliance of me her and Nicholas, which is good because she wants to work with me, but could backfire with me already in an alliance with Amanda, Colin, and Timmy. In a perfect scenario we won't ever go to tribal more than once so I don't have to worry about betraying anybody. I'm also trying to maintain a relationship with Bodhi to keep that avenue open as well, I'm in a weird middle position, and I think my decisions going forward are gonna keep ramping up in importance.

Hello I AM SO UPSET. Kevin should by all standards be the one going home there’s been no social connection with him, he’s busy and didn’t even attempt. But here we are AGAIN as in every org I’ve ever played with rhone, people want Rhône gone first and it f*cking sucks. Every single time. Why? Like it makes me livid, at this point I rather flop to see Rhône thrive because they deserve it. In an early TS season work ethic represented outcome a lot more than now, now it’s all who messaged you hello first. Get me AWAY from these cows I am so angry. Like beyond angry, LIVID. Rhône is one of the best people I know and it just makes me upset when people think less of them because they don’t do the whole social butterfly fake ass bullshit we are all so accustomed to. Okay so we lose the first challenge, great. My goal is to make sure I’m not a target so I talk to everyone. I feel the most secure with Andrew, and he mentions wanting to work with Kevin and I’m fine with that. Problem is, Nicole and Rhône both mention him as a vote to me. But Kevin tells me today that he is interested in going for Rhône. And everyone who I’ve talked to today says they’ve heard it’s between Kevin and Rhône... so hopefully that is the case? Problem is, Kevin is an easy vote but the people I trust don’t want him to go. So that leaves Rhône, but I also feel kind of guilty if I push for him to go since we targeted each other the first round of Crossroads, but as of now it seems like he wants to work with me? So much drama has happened lol so the vote was between Kevin and Rhône because Kevin didn’t participate and Rhône was inactive. So Rhône comes on today and messages me saying “what are you thinking about the vote?” And I said “I’ve heard Kevin” and he said “oh I’ve heard my name” then he adds me and Nicole to a group chat to try and save himself and I’m lowkey interested. Then Andrew messaged me saying rhone told him that I was the one who spilled the beans to him about him being on the chopping block... so then I confront Rhône and he legit just gives up and asks us all to vote him. Hi! My phone is on 4% so this may be short. I have barely been around to talk to my tribe members but I made sure to do my part in the challenge cause I love music videos! So here's a little synopsis of my tribe. Ryan M - one of my good friends in this community. We just got out of a game together a few months ago and we are both very stubborn players. I'm not sure how I feel to see him as much as I love him Blake - I talk to him probably the most! He's really cool so far RTP - only ever heard of this guy but he's an icon. Great guy so far but I'd say he's my biggest threat moving forward Julia - love her!! She's so easy to talk to Mo - I like talking to him though we don't get to much. we have bonded over our gayness LOL Isaac - he has hosted me and I looove him but we haven't talked very much in this game so far?? Also jake price lives literally 15 minutes away from me. He was in crossroads with Ryan and I and he knows exactly how close I am with Ryan, while ryan knows the same about myself and Jake. This could come to bite me down the road for sure so I sorta hope those two are not in the game together for very long with me unless they will get the fuck along. They stress me out LOL

Guess who helped start a new alliance! :) Basically Kat, William and I are part of a 3 person alliance called "The Chaos Crew". I feel fairly comfortable working with these two because they both said they were supposedly new to ORGs (don't 10000% buy it), also it would be in all of our interests to stick to a 3 person alliance to make sure that if in the case we do attend tribal we can at least tie if not be in the majority. 

I don't really understand this cast. They're really bad aliases. Yikes... I was talking to that one guy on my tribe with the normal-sounding name and I told him I didn't like making small talk because everyone is "fake". Then he said "I'm not fake! I promise". So I responded that it's not like anyone is fake in *that* way, but it's because of the alias thing... then he thought I was asking him for an alliance. What the fuck. Then he exposed to me that he's NEVER played orgs before and he's SO out of the loop, which might be true, but I don't want to take any chances. I think he's just bad at playing dumb.

We should have started it YESTERDAY, i felt like suggesting it but I just... never did.  UGH, I'm so ready for a switch or something, Panamint is dropping like flies and I just hope I'm in a good enough spot to stay another round.

So we lost. Which I expected. And I originally thought I'd be the target, since I fucked up so much we kept having to go back. But Tanner never showed up to participate and everyone has to participate so we lost for that reason instead. Which means that I'm a little safer than I was before, and Tanner is most likely going home. I hope. I'm kind of glad he fucked up tbh, because I think we would've gone either way and now I get to be safe.

Ok, so episode 2 in a nut shell... Kat, William and I started a 3 person alliance called the Chaos Crew which is kinda cute I guess, hopefully since there are 3 people in the alliance it will secure them as a number more. Then we had the reward competition which was the wikipedia thing and my type A personality legit did the entire comp for our tribe. I really wanted us to win and have a possibility of being sent to satan's asshole. So we won!!!! And we got an idol clue :) also I convinced them to let me go to the hole. I decided thatd itd be smart to send the same people as last week because itd put a larger target on their back and if they found an advantage it would at least be in a known area.  Basicalllllly, I found this cute Zirusikisisiaasdas Idol which works as a normal idol but also randomly gives another person protection, but my ass tried and tell most people that I found nothing (a rock). This is good for the most part unless it chooses the person I am trying to idol out. Then we had the reward comp which was the ugliest fucking counting endurance comp ive ever had to do. So basically, Giruga, Justin, and I did the majority of the competition even though I was on a fucking road trip on mobile so that was wild. Layla legit did little to nothing which made the entire tribe kind of mad, thus theyd be an easy vote in a future tribal probs. I think Giruga and I working on this competition and communicating during it made was a lot more beneficial for our relationship... basically I suggested that we made a good team in the comp and I was wondering if he'd want to work together and he said yes!!! So im basically working with everybody on the fucking tribe whew. We won immunity because we are the only tribe to finish it which has me shook, but that means we have a significant advantage going into a future tribe swap or merge :). I have feeling that next episode is going to be a tribe swap, but we will see!

So....we lost....again. But it's no sweat this round because I have my alliance with Gabby and Misty, which gives us majority. I love a good majority. The plan is to vote out Paul because he is literally a mess and a half. After that disaster is handled, we can hopefully move forward and not have to go to tribal again. I'm really praying that I can go to Devil's Hole again because now that I have my glow stone i have better chances of maybe finding something that could really turn my game around. But who knows? Only time will tell
