Has anyone considered the thought of like. Maybe some of the anger Wally displays towards Barry is because he came back from death a different person kinda?

He had an entirely different upbringing and went from "Knows a Guy" (that's so many of his old stories it's fantastic. Why does he know the local gorilla actor? He's just like that) to being isolated and alienated and then also had depression on top of that.

Imagine your dad comes back from the dead after leaving you with such a dark and thick shadow to crawl out of- that he only comes back AFTER you crawled out of- and then he's not even the same guy. He's not even the man that you remember because not only have you and everyone else built him up in your memory but half his life before becoming a hero was different.

And then. y'know. The whole "accidentally trapped most of the speedsters in the speedforce" thing. And also depression can change a person. And- there's a lot okay??

Barry after Flash Rebirth and especially after the new 52 reboot is a very different character to how he started/the man Wally knew as a kid and even now like. They look the same age??? Sometimes??? that's gotta be weird. I know they're speedsters but STILL...

I so badly want to rewrite the Veilguard with the Inquisitor as the main character instead of Rook now. Inquisition set Veilguard up to be the Inquisitor, and I think it would be so much better with the Inquisitor. The more I think of the Veilguard, the more I'm like it has SO much damn potential. Like SOOO much. And if the Inquisition cast came back as well? With the new characters too? It could be perfect. Like the old characters know Solas. The new characters are experts. It would be perfect.

Anyways I'm totally not buying Veilguard just to play through it all and rewrite everything on ao3....... No......... I would never do that.....

Like... Let me live in peace! I do see someone handling their points with decorum and I absolutely adore them for it. Thank you for your service. Yes, they're not the greatest couple but they are trying. Stop getting upset over reactions caused by trauma/a chemical imbalance in their brains! Btw, I'm saying this as a girl with ADHD. It's hard, incredibly so, especially when a lot of our "symptoms" are seen as us being dramatic, it being that time of the month, or literally just us acting like women should act. Anyway, that's my two cents, no hate for anyone just think about things with a little more nuance and remember ADHD is different in girls than it is in boys and you may not know how it actually affects girls. Rick may not know it either and could be writing her like that without the nuance but he could also know! And ofc he isn't the best, he forgets stuff he established previously and sometimes has plot holes but all writers do it when they've written so many books in a continuity. This doesn't mean he's forgiven for those things, of course I'd love for some things to have been better written, but he's not the worst out there. I'm just tired, y'all. Also, if you attack me, you will be blocked, I want to have mature conversations if this does get seen by anyone and if you can't handle that then I don't want you on my blog. End of story.

kinda afraid to step in this discourse, most of all because i didn’t even finish the show yet (but i just finished s2!!!) but i’ve seen a lot of this fandom behavior and fandoms’ behavior in general.

and like i see a lot of bucktommys complaining about the buddie fandom (including in the buddie tag) but i never actually see the buddie fandom doing anything that terrible, like what i saw the most was them stating they don’t like tommy and even the actor that plays him, but they stayed in their lane and didn’t harass anyone?? maybe i’m in a privileged part of the fandom.

also, saw even people who claim to be from the buddie fandom talking about how this behavior is ruining the experience for them?? and i’m like what behavior?? and this is literally how fandoms work!!! there’s always fights!!!

all i’m saying is if it’s bothering you so much, just block these people (i know i did) and if it’s something truly serious, report them!!!

however, if it’s taking the joy out of the experience for you, maybe you’re just not that into it anymore.
