Healthy coping mechanisms I want Eddie to have next season:

- adopting a cat (i just feel like he's a cat person, not a dog one)

- taking care of houseplants/or starting a garden

- having get togethers with Linda where they gossip and bake sweets

- joining a boxing gym

- him and Buck going on hikes every weekend

- he end Chimney watching baseball (i don't know if its canon that they both like them, but I read it in a fic so it is now)

- Bobby and Athena going over to him at least once a week to have lunch with him (i think Eddie also needs to be parented by them)

- Hen and Karen sending him books (somehow always queer themed ones) and opening a bookclub of three

- Maddie and him actually forging a friendship and talking about the similarities in their life

Idk how about you people, but I'd sell my kidney for 911 recipes book with Bobby's lasagna, chili, french toasts, pasta recipes and etc. + Athena's fav waffles Harry made her, chicken that Hen did in 6s, mushed potatoes from Linda that she recommended to Eddie, what Eddie made for dinner in 5x11

Fr 911 pr team should think about it. 911 use cooking as love language, why not share with fans some love?

random 911 headcanons that ive had over the years for no specific reason

eddie turns into a literal man-baby when he catches a cold; i’m talking full on cannot take care of himself, gets super pouty and wraps himself up in a heavy blanket

buck watches drag race religiously, but has never told anyone because he doesn’t want people to think he’s weird….. even though half his found family are gay

eddie is still in a dispatch gc with maddie, may, linda, and josh and its mostly just josh and eddie being bitchy back and forth to each other

hen is secretly afraid of spiders but doesn’t want anyone to know- karen pranks her with fake spiders regularly

karen and eddie are besties and talk about buck and hen to each other— eddie ofc not realizing that he’s in move with buck, but karen absolutely tells hen all about it

buck has bought copies of all of chris’s school pictures and keeps them in his wallet

chimney and maddie are bi4bi….. i wont be explaining any further

chris keeps a picture of him and buck from the pier inside his wallet/phone case and no one knows he’s kept it all these years

maddie, josh, may, and linda have a separate dispatch groupchat where they talk about how clueless eddie is about his feelings towards buck

chimney is a closet jane austen fan after maddie got him hooked on pride and prejudice

+ to the last one, maddie is a 1995 BBC Miniseries fan

eddie is the oldest diaz child (kinda not hc tho bc it’s implied but whatever)

eddie cried over the early 2000s rom-coms that his sisters made him watch when they were younger but would never admit it (his favorite is 10 Things I Hate About You)

one of buck’s favorite movies is the devil wears prada (shoutout to tracie 💕)

maddie was a theater kid in high school and still listens to showtunes a lot

linda being the only canon character to have a bee allergy like she gave up her epipen when the call center was taken hostage so it makes me wonder are they going to make any of the main characters have a bee allergy with the season 8 disaster being a bee-nado yk… I’m still thinking hen or buck because we’ve yet to get a scene of hen in the hospital injured after an injury and buck didn’t go through anything traumatic in season 7

There’s something so poetic about the 118 being separated for like 3/4s of season 5 and then them being reunited and working together to get Bobby(and May) out of the rubble of the call center.

and then Eddie walking out and Linda saying “god has spoken?” OMG PLEASE I’m in tears

AND MAY CALLING BOBBY DAD AND SAYING ITS NOT A LIE?!

This show is so important to me.
