They need to be washed after they were packed away for moving (plus I have two long haired cats) so ignore the wrinkles and cat hair but I pulled it back out to go to ren faire tomorrow and got excited so here's my old Legend LU cosplay I made in 2020 lol

Pls ignore my room also it's a mess cus we just moved a few months ago and I've been swamped with work and school and horses 😭

Pls note I learned how to dye fabric and embroider for this so be gentle lol it was my first try on both!

I drafted the pattern myself and made it by hand over about 2-3 months the summer of 2020, in a tiny town where my only ""craft store"" was Walmart lmao

I finally tried on my Wind cosplay! I can’t wait to wear him to Anime Boston this year! 🙌🏻🩵

As some of you might know, I am the voice actor of Four and Wind (and previously Hyrule) in Estrine Studios’ dub of Linked Universe! Me and (almost) every cast member of Estrine’s Linked Universe dub will be going to Anime Boston 2024! We hope to see fans of LU in cosplays there as well, and interact with some of our AND LU’s fanbase! 🫶🏻🩵 The only two cast members who can’t make it to the con are Ace and Silver.

In the meantime, here’s my my boy, Wind! I had a blast cosplaying him 🥹🩵

I made a spoils bag!!!!

I’m so excited!!!! It turned out so good!!!!!

For anyone who’s curious, here’s how I did it!

so I found this bag at a thrift store

And I cut off all of the existing embroidery (I got lucky and had access to the back of it inside the flap zipper pocket)

After that I wanted to wash it, which was a bit of an ordeal. I started off with hand washing, but this thing BLED DYE like crazy! I needed up taking it with me to visit my parents and used their washing machine to wash it like, three times, until it stopped bleeding so much dye. (I washed it by itself and then had the machine do a self-clean cycle to clear out any remaining dye)

After that it was a matter of tracing the face pattern from what references I could find (on a digital canvas to match the size of the flap), getting some felt, cutting and pinning the pieces, and stitching them on! (I forgot to get pictures of the cutting and pining process)

Finished the embroidery on the front of Legend’s tunic, after a year and a half of working on it very slowly!

………There’s a lot wrong with it, but I might be able to fix some stuff later.
