I got this @tatcha The Kissu Lip Mask from @sephora as a free sample, I truly enjoyed it. This lip mask’s formula has no smell, is not very sticky, a little goes a long way; and it leaves my lips feeling smooth and well hydrated. My lips are usually super dry (from my condition & meds.) so I’m always needing extra hydration. I need more than just a balms’ protection and i need it twice a day. It’s insane! Add in the cold dry desert weather and it’s just that much worse. . . In a search to find the lowest cost most hydrating product, i feel like I’m constantly trying new lip masks. Between @boxycharm, #BoxycharmPremium, and #Sephora i get to try some good ones all around. Thankfully i can utilize these samples to find what works best for me. . . My lips are also sensitive and react negatively (swelling) to many lower priced sticks and balms. Even the “higher end” ones from drug store brands, or some “luxe” brands make my lips swell. Usually it’s the ones that have gasoline byproducts in them. Since this #Tatcha balm doesn’t have that it works well for me. I would buy this based on the formula since it works well. Price wise? The bite beauty agave works just as well (personally) and is a larger size, this has a thinner more luxurious consistency though, it’d make a nice gift. This was one of the first samples that i reviewed and i was so new to the game that i feel like its worthy of a new spotlight review. Plus the last was just a sample size (2g i believe) this is a full sized 6g version. Aside from the obvious size difference, the full sized product is exactly as the sample sized; creamy, delicious, hydrating and luscious on the lips. • I love the subtle not so sweet flavor of the Carmel formula. It’s almost candy like. I use this as one of a few steps in my daily lip are routine. I have them in almost every flavor. This Carmel one was the last one i added to my collection, since it was the original (okay and i had came up on two 2g samples that last me forEVER). I have them all, except chocolate🍫. Lemon 🍋was my fave but it was no longer on their site (last i checked.), this is my second fav, then peach 🍑and coconut 🌴 🥥 on the same bottom level flavor wise. • Formula wise they all seal in my hydration and have no tint to them; so i use it before or after applying lip sticks/gloss etc if needed. It keeps my color from flaking also. The formula has Vitamin E, Sugar as well as a blend of Apricot Kernel, Black Currant Seed, and Grapeseed Oils. It’s also #SulfateFree, #SLSFree, #SLESFree, #ParabenFree, and #PhthalateFree. • You only need to apply it once a day, as it coats dry lips and protects against your average dehydration; however, since i am on skin drying (heart) medication, frequently, i need to rehydrate my lips twice a day. So i also use it at night, when our skin is more receptive to nutrients anyways. I wake up with soft, plump lips when i do. 💋 • The package is the convenient classic fresh round pot, inside a carmel colored box packaging, very thoughtful. I recommend hitting up your local @sephora and giving it a try, or straight up buying it from @FreshBeauty’s website.
