There is no way Hyacinth came out as nonbinary like a normal person. he walked up to his parents one day and said "can i not be a boy" and they were like "? ... yeah of course, what-" and then he was like "-oh wait i should've been more specific. i just mean for one day. it's for an experiment" because he was trying to see what he liked better

and then they organized they weeks and he weeks or days or something to see what they liked more. and they just ended up being more confused because unfortunately gender is not something you can measure like that in most cases. then they were like "well i'll just keep the experiment up until the conclusion is clear" and they kind of stopped collecting data after one point but like. technically it's ongoing

LITERALLYYYYYYYYYYY YOU GET IT. he was projecting so much onto dipper and dipper saw him as this amazing person who was everything he ever wanted to be and he was willing to do ANYTHING to win his approval or even just spend time with him and even if it was subconsciously ford took advantage of that and he repeatedly put dipper in extreme danger without really caring about how that might affect yk. a 12 year old boy. like in all their adventures it’s pretty clear that even if they usually end up alright dippers well being is never really his first thought, it’s always “solve the problem” without really paying attention to the actual child who’s life he keeps endangering and just. aahhh. i could go on and on about them but one thing that always makes me insane is in the last mabelcorn when dipper has a full on trauma induced breakdown and ford like. backs him into a corner and starts shouting at him. to the point that dipper literally shoots him out of panic. actually attempting to calm dipper down was his last resort and he did that by lifting him into the air by the back of his shirt. and then later when they’re talking about it he calls dipper an idiot. like maybe that wasn’t his full intention (“we weren’t the first two idiots to get tricked by bill”) but that is still an insane thing to say to him

Thinking about how in the very first episode Michael is soooo adamant about getting "his" car back (before he realizes it's the Knight Industries vehicle) and doesn't like it at all when he finds out there's a computer in it. And then how in Soul Survivor (s2e09) there's the "the car doesn't matter, it's just a car... YOU matter..." interaction. They literallyyyyyyyyyyy make me so ill.

bc LITERALLYYYYYYYYYYY all but ONE of my closest friendships have been with people I met online, and subsequently communicated with via texts or dm's or messages or whatever. literally!!!!

and i think the reason for that is because people who tend to have similar values and emotional needs as mine are ALSO people who are as good at written communication as i am.

like, people say ~you can't TRULY know or love someone you only know online~ but that's????????????? a load of shit lmao.

so like. i think i stand a higher chance of finding My Person if i start bothering to get more actively involved with my interests on social media. so imma do that! and maybe eventually i'll develop more close friendships! and maybe one of those friendships will progress to an intimate relationship! who knows! worth a try! and even if i don't find My Person that way, I'll probably still have made a few more good frands!
