Riddle #84
I’m sorry it’s a day late.💜😊💜
I am so so sorry that there’s two clues here that I just cannot solve to my satisfaction. I truly am sorry I have researched for a couple hours now I just can’t I just can’t figure them out. I apologize for letting you all down but I really have done my best.💜💜💜💜💜PG💜💜💜💜💜
 Bela-rouse………
Just to give you a little history of the country, Belarus is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe. It is bordered by Russia to the northeast, Ukraine to the south, Poland to the west, and Lithuania and Latvia to the northwest.
The people of Belarus are very angry. That’s exactly what the word rouse means. Protesters clashed with riot police as ‘Europe’s last dictator’ secures another landslide in Belarus despite fury over his dismissal of Covid-19 as ‘psychosis’. Clashes came after President Alexander Lukashenko’s landslide victory.Lukashenko, 65, has held office since 1994 and dismissed Covid as 'psychosis’.Outraged opposition supporters came out in their thousands to demonstrate in disbelief that the repressive strongman had secured 79.7 per cent of the vote. Many hours after that, one lone protester faced off against an army of armoured vehicles in Belarus. 3,000 were  arrested and one killed in clashes over ‘rigged’ re-election of Europe’s last dictator Alexander Lukanhesko.Scene emerged amid clashes over apparent re-election of President Lukanhesko. He’s known as Europe’s 'last dictator’ as Belarusian police detained 3,000 people.Election officials said he won his 6th consecutive term with over 80% of the 🗳 vote. Those of us who live in countries where you actually can vote freely are so blessed!  So many countries that purport to have “fair elections“ but in fact or actually dictatorships or autocracies. My heart goes out to these people. Long protester remind me back call me what was the year in red Square where the tank drove over that one brave I don’t know if it was a man or woman that was protesting that gave their life for it.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻What are the people of Belarus.DM and me.
🎼roaming in the 🎼gloamin:………………
There was a movie maybe 20 years ago called, in the gloaming, did anybody see that? I did not, however the definition of gloaming will tell you something. I will  share it with you. A poetic word for “twilight,” or the time of day immediately after the sun sets, is gloaming. This is a word with a strong Scottish heritage, adopted from Scottish dialect during the Middle Ages and rooted in the Old English word for “twilight,” glōm.WIKI Yesterday we saw some lovely pictures of Her Majesty. She was out for a lovely walk amongst the grounds of Balmoral. There was a woman with her at a safe distance and the paper I read didn’t identify who that was. But they looked like they were just having a lovely time enjoying being outdoors. Prince Edward and Sophie and their children arrived, so I imagine they probably had 🧺 with them as well. so as they say they were out for a good long walk, that clears your lungs, spending time together outside which is what they all love doing!! It is also something they can do safely in this time of COVID-19. In Scotland you would call that roaming in the gloaming!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Definition wiki, the rest me.
Simple Simon
Simon Cowell is one lucky man! He could have been  paralyzed or worse in this accident!‘The impact missed his spinal cord by a centimetre’: Simon Cowell 'could have been PARALYSED’ when he fell from his electric bike… as star recovers from six-hour surgery on his broken back. The 60-year-old was rushed to hospital on Saturday when he fell from his new electric bicycle whilst taking it for a test drive at his house in Malibu. He had surgery after breaking his back in a number of places and is recovering well from the six-hour long operation which saw a metal rod placed in his back.A source later revealed that doctors told Simon his injury could 'have been a lot, lot more serious’ and 'the impact missed his spinal cord by about a centimetre’.Speaking on Sunday, a family friend told MailOnline that Simon is 'doing well’ now but was in ‘shock and massive amounts of pain’ after the accident. The music mogul's girlfriend Lauren Silverman, 43 - with whom he shares son Eric, 6 - was spotted riding her own bike on Saturday.Simon was at his Malibu home with Lauren and their six-year-old son Eric when the accident happened. The father-of-one  is due to return to America’s Got Talent next week, with the first live show set to air on Tuesday August 11.Simon’s other hit show Britain’s Got Talent is due to film in the autumn, with the mogul scheduled to be in the UK for the live final in October. He was previously hospitalised in October 2017 after falling down the stairs at his London home - prompting him to embark on a healthier lifestyle.'Back on his feet in three weeks’: Simon Cowell’s new 'family-friendly’ lifestyle and four-stone weight loss could mean he’ll recover faster from e-bike fall that’s left him with metal rod in his back after he missed breaking his spine 'by just 1cm!! DM and me.
Spill…………
Mystery as devastating chemical spill kills tens of thousands of fish along stretch of pristine river in rural Wales leaving trout gasping for air amid sea of toxic foam. Mother-of-three witnesses a river pollution spill so toxic it wiped out all the fish.Emily Tilling, 47,  walks her dogs along the shady banks of the River Llynfi, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Wales. Ms Tiling says the event 'was like something out from [TV drama] Chernobyl’.As Emily Tilling walks her dogs along the shady banks of the River Llynfi, her eye will often be caught by the splash of a leaping wild brown trout or the iridescent flash of a kingfisher. But during an evening stroll last weekend, she witnessed an ecological catastrophe that has almost completely destroyed the wildlife at the river in mid-Wales.Amid putrid foam and an overwhelming stench of chemicals, trout flailed around in the shallows gasping for air as desperate crayfish attempted to scrabble out of the water. DM and me.
Karen ain’t a happy embryo …………
Something I just heard recently and I do not know if you kids are aware of it. I read online somewhere and am actually quite confused. Apparently some people of other races, call all women who are white,  Karen, as an insulting him term. I do not know how that came about.BBC Until last week, if you had asked the BBC to nominate the most reviled species on the planet, the answer would have been obvious: middle-aged white men, of course, the necrotic heart of the evil patriarchy (so long, Andrew Neil et al).But not any more, it seems. For Auntie has a new enemy in her sights: Karen.A Karen, in case you didn’t know, is a term used on social media to denote a middle-aged woman who is unaware of her ‘white privilege’. Yeah I know as of the fancy baby shower in New York City the baby ha ha whatever it was supposed to be a girl. The royal family swept out away from her and turned around it was a boy. So I can I can’t find I don’t know what this clue is meaning beyond that I just don’t and I’ve looked and looked and looked I don’t know and I’m frustrated!💜💜💜💜 usually every riddle has at least one clue that drives me batty and then in the end I get it but this riddle has to. I researched and looked and read high and low. I just cannot solve this clue. I feel upset about this. Extremely frustrated! And worst of all I’m so sorry to disappoint you all. I just don’t know where to go from here I just don’t know.💜💜💜💜💜💜
“erotic podcast??? …………
Demi Moore stars in scripted podcast Dirty Diana that focuses on couple trying to reconnect amid their failing marriage.
Demi Moore stars and is the executive producer of a new scripted podcast series called Dirty Diana. The new audio drama circles around a couple that face a dying marriage as they lose touch with their intimacy.Demi stars alongside Claes Bang, as two partners who try to work on their marriage and intimacy, as heard in the first trailer that dropped via People. Dirty Diana begins on Monday, July 13 via podcast; it is a six part fictional series from QCODE. The podcast also focuses on female erotica, with the trailer starting with a woman being heard telling Demi’s character that she wants to pleasure herself. But why do they have use the name Diana? there’s a part of me that wonders if this isn’t a potential revenue earnest for Madam? How do people find these podcasts? How do people find all this porn and garbage that’s on the Internet? I don’t understand I wouldn’t have a clue where to begin to look to find anything anything remotely like this never mind if you don’t even know the title of it or if it even existed? Oh my stars! Demi Moore have you no shame? Have you no shame?  Obviously she doesn’t! One would think she would be a multi multi millionnaire after all the movies she has made. But she is start to get old, according to Hollywood standard, and she wants to stay relevant. So what is the best, easiest  revenue earner? Selling  your body disgusting! she has adult children and probably grandchildren too! I have no no doubt that if Madam thought she could earn money doing this, oh you bet,  in a heartbeat she would be in there like a fish in water! Pardon the pun she’s used to doing this kind of stuff around water Ha Hah Hah Hah Hah Hah Hah Hah Hah Hah Hah Hah Hah🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂. I want to get that only because of her but the whole issue was very serious and very shady!DM and me.
sheepish microdot. ……………
Let’s start with the definition of microdots. A microdot is text or an image substantially reduced in size to prevent detection by unintended recipients. Microdots are normally circular and around one millimetre in diameter but can be made into different shapes and sizes and made from various materials such as polyester or metal. The name comes from the fact that the microdots have often been about the size and shape of a typographical dot, such as a period or the tittle of a lowercase i or j. Microdots are, fundamentally, a steganographicapproach to message protection. Bear with me now let’s find the definition of sheepish.adjective (of a person or expression) showing embarrassment from shame or a lack of self-confidence. So somebody sent something via microdot that they are ashamed of or embarrassed by. This is another clue I’ve looked and looked and stretch my brain I I cannot figure out what this means! It’s usually one clue that really drives me batty but eventually I can Kinda sorta get some thing but this one there’s two honestly I’ve looked at looked and read and searched and every permutation I I just cannot find what your meaning by this MM Anon.💜💜💜💜 I am so so so so sorry I just cannot solve this clue! I really apologize for letting you guys down I am quite upset about this. Forgive me.💜💜💜💜
muggy, tuegy,Wegy ………
One thing I find so but funny about the UK is that everything has to have a slang term or almost every word has to be twisted and said in a funny way. I do not know why that is but I just find that so funny.😊😊😊This reminds me of a child learning to speak the days of the week. How does my head go, I wonder if these are the days when little Louis will be going to preschool, and he is learning to say the names of the days of the week. That is just a thought I’ll I get back to this. This has nothing to do with school it has all to do with the weather. Due to the  Sahara Blowtorch, as it was called, the UK was subjected to unprecedented heat over the actually, the whole weekend Friday Saturday and Sunday. As the front is passing, coming behind it is muggy weather. Muggy  is where the air is very sticky and the humidity is very high. What is going to be happening today is you will be feeling the muggy weather but then the rain is coming and it is  going to be torrential ☔️rain. So we have Monday will be Muggy, Tuesday will be sort of humid and some rain, hence Tuegy. Wednesday will be Wegy, lots and lots of rain, possibly even torrential amounts of rain! Me and weather knowledge.

education not saturation ………………
(Early) Signs of (Modest) Online Saturation
Does a small decline in the share of all academic programs that are delivered at a distance suggest that online has peaked?
Bold pronouncements about trends in the fast-moving, and somewhat data-poor, landscape of online learning should be approached with great skepticism. What it is is a high-level view of some data in an analysis published by Public Insight, which collects and makes available public data in accessible formats. The blog post by the company’s CEO, Dan Quigg, carried the provocative title of “Has Distance Education Hit Its Peak?” – a question inspired by federal data showing that the proportion of all academic programs that were offered via distance education. It was the first such decline since the federal government’s main higher education database, the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System, began collecting data on online education in 2013.”It appears that the original lure of distance education seems to have worn off somewhat and whatever works, works well,“ Quigg wrote. "Whatever is not working is being phased out."Quigg admits he is no expert on online education, and that his analysis is at a surface level, prompted by one data point surfaced from among the millions his company processes.
But the assertion sparked our curiosity here at "Inside Digital Learning,” especially in the face of other federal data showing that online enrollments continue to grow. So we did a bit more analysis on the data Quigg produced and asked a couple of people better versed in online education for their takes on the question. Now this research article appeal applies to higher learning, but I think we can extrapolate that down to our school-age children and their learning experience. So does this mean all the online education being thrown out to children via digital means, while at home due to Covid, and all the various assignments etc. are not equivalent to an in person learning? Of course there are not! They  miss the whole atmosphere, the milieu, the  whole being with your peers and interacting learning social skills. A school milieu enables learning from other people, learning  from your peers, learning from different teachers who have different ways of speaking. It also teaches structure and how one spends their days. There are all these basic life skills that children need in order to function later in life.Just learning in the whole environment! Not being in your home environment, where they are used to playing, having fun, and time with your family. It is  dramatically different thing. So the saturation, was just throwing all this data at the children they cannot possibly learn in the same way. I’m not a statistician. I’m not a researcher, but I do have common sense. And it’s just if you’re not in the milieu at  school there’s so many non-verbal and experiential things that you are missing experiences and learning from them. I found this article and thought it was very applicable to the clue. I’m not sure,  MM Anon if you were talking about rain and weather and all that but I just thought this was very applicable. This is something that’s everybody is wrestling with, whether you have children or not. I just feel for parents. I feel for the children. I feel for the teachers. It is just such a different world isn’t it? There  used to be a phrase we really used a lot at work, when a patient had would be admitted and they would have all this information thrown at them, hospital policy, their diagnosis, new medications lots of teaching. It was called sensory overload! That means so much coming at you that your brain is overloaded. Your brain cannot process any of it because it is  just too much information coming at you at once. I think that is what is happening to many children. Insidehighered.com
getting ready for school Charlotte?????
It is a very small world in the aristocratic circles of London. Princess Charlotte’s teacher married her godfather isn’t that something! The Cambridges, said back in June I believe it was, that she would not return to school unless George was in school. Now with Covid and things  going up and down and up more on the up and down, I am not sure what they are going to do. I wonder if they know what they are going to do. I personally, I do not have children, but if I did have children and two of them are in very high line of succession to the throne, I would keep them at home and school them at home. But that is just my opinion. I think that is what all the?’s are about . Should they shouldn’t they should, they shouldn’t they,  they are weighing the options the pros and cons. I guess until the time comes we will not know. But I do pray for them and I pray for their health and I pray that they make the right decision. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻Me.

⟨ LUCY BOYNTON. CIS FEMALE. SHE/HER. ⟩ though the mist might prevent some from seeing it, ANIKA “ANYA” VILKAITĖ is actually a descendent of A T H E N A. it’s still a question of whether or not the TWENTY-TWO year old ARCHITECTURE from VILNIUS, LITHUANIA has taken after their godly parent completely, but the demigod is still known to be quite VIVACIOUS & QUIXOTIC
                                      INFORMATION ◆ CONNECTIONS ◆ DESKTOP
hello friends, my name is ana from the gmt+1 timezone (yes i know i should be sleeping) and i use she/her pronouns. i will to a quick recap of anya’s story below but you can read her full bio in the link above. i still need to finish her google docs but i will tomorrow. i’ll work on the connections page right now so shshshs sorry if you click the link and nothing shows up yet.

02. quick bio
her biological father was a welsh cartographer that lived in st. petersburg, russia with his wife.
athena and him started a platonic relationship that ended with her giving her a baby as a gift.
his wife didn’t believe that anya was the child of a goddess, so she just assumed that she was the product of her husband’s affair.
since they have always wanted kids but never were able to conceive, the wife claimed anya as her own child.
her father was not ready for fatherhood so he bailed. he moved to the united states where he still resides and currently is a very important cartographer. he hasn’t spoken to anya since she was a babyf
his father’s wife, vika, adopted her and raised her as her own. took the last names hughes and gave her her own. they moved to lithuania when she was a year old.
athena was always part of her life (her mother still didn’t know about her child being a demigod) and would visit her every night until she realized that her knowing she was a demigod could put her in danger, still she always found a way to look over her.
super smart! competitive and vivacious! she speaks a zillion of languages
found out she was athena’s daughter when she was about eleven and that’s also when her mother found out and she was sent to the camp.
went through a rebellious phase when she turned 18 because she wanted a normal life and ran away and backpacked across europe for a year before monsters found her.
fortunately, athena saved her and brought her to eonia.
she hated it here first but now she loves it
she’s studying architecture
03. personality.
anya likes to be in control. this doesn’t necessarily mean that she wants to be in control of other people’s lives, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. she just wants to be the commander-in-chief of her life. even if she depends on other people’s compliance for her ideas to come to fruition, she tries to take all the shots. at first glance, anya looks like the typical young woman who is into fashion, makeup and overall looking her best. she’s very in touch with her femininity, however, those who know her better would be able to tell you that beneath that put together style there’s a girl who is not afraid of getting her hands dirty to get the job done. she’s very sporty and she is often considered one of the boys which she doesn’t mind at all. loyal to her godly parent, anya can be considered as moody. she changes her mind over a thousand times a day, and while some would say she’s inconsistent, the truth is that she is always analyzing the situation and trying to make the best decisions. she tries to hold her tongue, but unlike athena, she lacks a filter and when she’s experiencing strong emotions she doesn’t think before speaking. she is a dreamer and loves to go on wild escapades.
on the negative side, anya is too idealistic and sometimes very naive. a trait that’s not very worthy of being athena’s child but she can’t help but expect the best of any situation. a hopeless optimistic, she is. however, if she finds out she’s been betrayed, she will unleash her anger without mercy. she holds grudges and doesn’t forgive easily. not the kind of girl that will give you second chances. sometimes she comes across as bubbly and friendly because of her joie-de-vivre, but in fact, she can be very cold and aloof. she doesn’t deal well with feelings and she tries to never show her vulnerable side.
04. powers.
genius intelligence — it’s unclear when anya discovered that she was smarter than the rest of the kids her age. according to her mother, she always seemed to be ahead of the rest. she started speaking when she was fifteen months and it wasn’t just a few mispronounced words, she spoke clear and coherent sentences. by the time she started preschool, she could already in two languages, her native lithuanian and english. unlucky for her mother, anya started asking probing questions when she was just a toddler, her analytical skills have always been on point and she has never been afraid to ask why. as she grew older, these skills only improved. she speaks about ten languages and she continues learning.
strategic skill — she’s unsure if this is a power that came to her naturally or something that she’s been training for years unknowingly. however, she does have the recollection of being very astute in games. as a child, there was no one who could beat her at chess, connect four, monopoly or even tic-tac-toe. as she grew up this skill enhanced and she started applying to her everyday life. she’s always well-prepared and has a plan in mind (although this doesn’t mean they always work). her biggest problem is that anya can be too idealistic and sometimes her plans are a bit difficult to implement. it’s for sure an ability that she’s working on.
skilled craftmanship — she is very good drawing, but she wouldn’t say this is her best ability, however, since she started studying architecture this is the skill she has improved the most.
audiokinesis — she can memorize the lyrics of a song after listening to it once. anya has an excellent memory, she will never forget birthdays or appointments, she doesn’t even need a calendar but she keeps one just for aesthetics. she remembers even the smallest detail of a person. one of the lucky ones that don’t need to study to ace a test, she just needs to pay attention in class and it’s all engraved in her memory.
telumkinesis — she is good with weapons. of course, she knows everything about them but she is also very skilled in some of them. However, she is only booksmart in this regard, she needs more practice but so far she’s doing well in her combat classes.

August Recap
Hey, dear followers! Let me start by saying that.. phew, there are a lot of you now! Even more than a thousand. Which means that I need to do a new follow forever since the last one I made back in.. April 2017? Wow, took some time to gather that final quarter missing from a 1,000.
I'm happy to say that this is a legit number, because I recently cleaned up my list of followers by blocking all the obvious porn, bot and/or bot-porn blogs.
However, I'm gonna postpone making this new follow forever until I have a new banner for it. Namely, I still have 4 super-belated Kataang Week submissions to finish (2 drawings, 2 fics) and I intend to use one of these images as the banner.
I feel bad enough for not finishing these on time, or getting anything related to my blog done in time recently, for that matter. Life has been hectic since March, when I began applying for all available internship/job positions that could possibly suit me (and the same cycle started again now).
As some of you may remember, I eventually managed to get a 2-month paid internship for the summer. Well, I finished it in the middle of August and I have nothing but positive words to say about the company, their employees, the working environment.. everything!
I really would've wanted to continue working there full-time, but they didn't have an opening for the position my internship was built on. Nevertheless, I'll keep my eye out for similar available positions in the future and try again when (or if) the time comes.
But I shall always remember the time together with them fondly. The feeling of success (since I finished my work on time), gratitude and happiness outweigh the feeling of sadness about having to leave. I sketched this into my notebook the day I left and showed it to my team, including my mentor (they were all rather fond of it):
Tumblr media
A couple of days earlier, as I was waiting for the tram to go to work in the morning, I saw a little girl walk to the stop opposite to mine together with her mother. She was carrying a pretty plush Princess Celestia from "My Little Pony". These bigger-sized ponies had been on sale for a long time in many shops, so I decided that I'm gonna go buy one for myself, too.
So, the day my internship ended, I brought all the gifts and my diploma home, went back outside and headed to the toy stores nearby. I didn't buy any of these ponies since the bigger ones seem to be sold out. But I accidentally stumbled across an even prettier toy:
Tumblr media
It was Trinket from "Nella the Princess Knight", only 1 remaining and she was more than HALF OFF! I felt like the luckiest girl in the world! I'd checked out the smaller ones a while ago, but those Trinkets didn't seem as pretty as this big one. And she was coming home with me!
I barely got to cuddle her in bed for one night when I suddenly came down with a sore throat the next day. My mentor had also fallen ill a few days prior to the end of my internship, so it was no mystery where I caught it from.. I'm practically healed now, just gotta get rid of this stuffy nose that keeps bothering me twice a day.
Anyways, after my sore throat had almost gone away and my runny nose began to act up, I still went to celebrate the Restoration of Estonia's Independence on the 20th August together with my dad by going to a family event at our television tower in Tallinn.
Tumblr media
The television tower is the place that normal citizens came to protect from the Soviet tanks the day after we'd declared ourselves independent from the Soviet Union in 1991. The Estonians were lucky, because the Russians didn't open fire against us and eventually withdrew their troops. Unfortunately, the Latvians and Lithuanians suffered from human losses that day, trying to protect their own important landmarks.
For the first time, I actually had a strong feeling of pride, joy and festivity. We haven't really celebrated this day in any special way so far (except for maybe buying a small cake or watching the reception at the President's residence at Kadriorg on TV), but going to this event made it feel more special this year.
The police, fire department, ambulance, Defensive Forces (Kaitseliit), Women's Defence League (Naiskodukaitse), our NATO allies and other important organizations demonstrated their equipment and skills.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Btw you Americans can curse YOUR police as much as you want, but the police here in Estonia, and most likely in the rest of Europe, are NOTHING like it compared to yours. They are respected, do excellent work in protecting our citizens and catching criminals, do not follow racist beliefs, use a gun ONLY as a last resort. Of course, we have very, VERY strict gun laws here, too, so they RARELY need to use their arms anyway.. Frankly, I wish there were more of them on patrol, due to so many drunk drivers getting caught each day in my country. So if you EVER dare say something disgusting about OUR police, I will come at you.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The President of Estonia, Kersti Kaljulaid, together with the President of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda, gave short speeches and had a nice walk around the area as well. It was hilarious since, moments before the two Presidents arrived, a small cloud appeared above us and it began pouring so hard that most people fled to the nearby tents. The benches in front of the stage became empty and one group of people huddled together in front of it (the top edge provided them with some cover from the heavy rain).
Tumblr media
Once Kersti Kaljulaid finished with her speech, she gazed upon the small crowd in front of the stage and noticed a couple of kids. I think they must've wanted to say something sweet to her, or she wanted to "rescue" them from the rain.. Either way, she grabbed them by their hands and helped them climb up on the stage, after which those two kids hugged her. I swear, I melted into a puddle right then and there! It was soooo adorable! I love our President SO MUCH (and this isn't the only reason why)! I even managed to take a photo of the moment:

Later in the evening, one of our most famous, handsome sexiest and loved male singers, Uku Suviste, gave a free concert to everyone who'd decided to stay until the end. I even got to take a photo together with him! (@thecaroliner can see it on Facebook.)

Before I temporarily moved back home from my rented apartment, me and my dad went on a ride in the new Skywheel of Tallinn at T1 Mall of Tallinn. It's a brand new ferris wheel, which was opened in April this year, and it's a part of the capital's silhouette now.
I'd been wanting to go ride it since the beginning of June, as soon as I'd moved to the capital. But since my internship absorbed most of my spare time and I was beat during the weekends, I thought it'd be a lovely reward for myself (for finishing my internship) in the end.

I definitely wanna go ride it again at nighttime this coming winter, when the snow has covered the streets and the streetlights and Christmas decorations light up the entire capital. I can imagine what a beautiful sight this will be! And I wanna take photos of it.
I had the biggest surprise after I'd got off the ride. There's a small shop on the floor where you can enter the ferris wheel, and I happened to see a plush toy of Rubble from "Paw Patrol". Yay! Now I have all 4 available pups (I do wish they'd make ones for Rocky, Zuma, Everest aaaand.. *searches the name*.. Tracker, too!):

*wipes forehead* Oh boy, writing all of this down took some time.. But it was fun to go through all these awesome things I did this month. And to write down what I need to do during these upcoming months (which includes making a longer post about the Dance and Song Festival I went to at the beginning of July, cause this was kind of important). I hope you've all enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed putting it all together!

Dust
Read on: (ff.n) (ao3)
America had been watching the news when it happened, without warning. It was a blink and you miss it sort of thing - one minute, the news anchor had been standing there, going over the latest thing the the president had said, and then boom - she was gone. Disintegrated into dust and ash.
He had immediately tried to get into contact with the news company, but to no avail. Then the police, the fire department, the hospitals - nothing. Then America thought to try and call the other nations, but still - nothing. Half the calls didn’t even go to voicemail, and America was starting to get frantic.
What had happened? ––––––––––––––– Russia had been reading when his phone started ringing. The incessant trill of the ringtone he had picked out for America bored into his ears until he could stand it no longer and he moved to pick up the phone.
He had picked out the most annoying ringtone available for America, but now he regretted that decision. This was the only thought on his mind as he numbly watched his hand disintegrate into dust, and then the rest of his body.
  The phone continued ringing.
–––––––––––––––
Germany had been making bread, and Italy was sketching him as he did so. Italy was humming cheerfully and Germany had a soft smile on his face.
All in all it was a peaceful scene, and Italy only looked up when he heard the clatter of a measuring cup against the counter and gasped in fear.
Germany’s hand was fading, turning into dust before their very eyes. And then his legs started disintegrating, and Italy rushed to his side but he wasn’t fast enough (had never been fast enough never would be fast enough) and by the time he reached him Germany was already gone.
Italy sat there, shocked and silent, not even noticing the tears streaming down his face. What had just happened? Had Germany, the country, been dissolved…? But that didn’t make sense, surely he would have known if something like that was going to happen! Then again, that was the only explanation that even remotely made sense, right? It didn’t matter why though - in the end, the result was all the same. Germany was dead. –––––––––––––––
England had been napping in his favourite armchair when suddenly, he was gone. He didn’t wake up, and it was quiet. Hardly the way any of them had ever thought he would go out, that was for sure. Not even France, in the other room, noticed anything.
Well, France noticed that England was gone when he wandered into the living room to ask him about their lunch plans and saw that he wasn’t there. That was hardly any cause for concern though, so France merely assumed that England had gone for a walk and went back to the kitchen to start preparing his lunch.
An hour later when the other man still had not returned, France began to worry. It wasn’t unusual for England to take long walks, but it was unusual for him to do so and not tell anyone where he was going, let alone to leave his phone behind.
When France called America to ask if he knew anything about England’s current whereabouts, he almost regretted it.
  Almost.
France would rather know that England was most likely dead than be left wondering what had happened to him for the rest of his life..
–––––––––––––––
Romano and Spain had been taking a walk together when tragedy struck. Romano had stopped walking, but Spain continued on until he noticed that he was no longer by his side.
By the time he turned around, it was almost too late and Romano was nearly gone. Spain ran to him, but when he got the spot where he had been standing Romano was gone, leaving his outstretched arms to close around Spain’s own body.
At first he was too shocked to cry, but then Spain couldn’t stop the sobs from wracking his body. –––––––––––––––
Molossia was playing with his dog. She ran towards him in excitement, and then through him when he puffed into ash.
She wandered around, confused, having no idea what had happened to her master and barking in fear.
–––––––––––––––
Prussia had been working out in the comfort of his own home when it happened. As he was alone, he had no idea that anything had happened until America called him, and even then, all he knew was a place and a time to be there.
He had no idea that his brother was dead. And not just Germany, but so many others as well. –––––––––––––––
Hungary had been practicing her boxing when suddenly, her legs quite literally vanished from under her. Next was her face, before the rest of her disappeared as well.
Austria, who had accompanied her both out of boredom and because Hungary had been nagging him about how little exercise he was getting lately, could only watch in wide-eyed horror.
In barely half a second, one of the strongest people he had ever known was just - just gone.
A mere moment later and so was he. –––––––––––––––
Sweden and Finland had been asleep. Sweden vanished first, not awakening, and Finland barely had time to register the absence of his lover before he too was gone. –––––––––––––––
Sealand didn’t know that anything had happened until he woke up. At first, he was confused - usually Sweden and Finland were up before him, already making breakfast.
Not today, though, and when Sealand checked in their bedroom all he saw was rumpled sheets and piles of ash where his parents should have been. There was no note, their phones were on their nightstands - the only thing out of place was the dust and the couple’s absence.
Sealand frantically tried to call England, but the call wouldn’t go through. Next he tried France, who hurriedly told him not to panic, and a time and place to show up before he hung up.
Sealand was left confused and afraid, not knowing what had happened to his parents.
–––––––––––––––
Denmark, Norway, and Iceland had been spending family time together and playing Monopoly. Norway had just gotten up to get a glass of water when he heard Denmark yelling.
Now, Denmark yelling was not unusual or a cause for concern on it’s own, as Norway was pretty sure that his natural voice was simply very loud, but the fear in his voice? That was.
He turned around to see Iceland staring in his hand in horror. His hand, which was slowly dissolving into ash. His eyes met his brother’s and that - the pure fear in his eyes - was what got Norway to react.
He rushed over to his brother’s side, and for one crystalline moment both Norway and Denmark were hugging Iceland before he was gone and they collapsed into each other’s arms, too shocked to even cry.
Norway’s glass of water had shattered and spilled on the tiles of the kitchen floor, broken and ignored.
–––––––––––––––
Canada was hiking in the woods, and didn’t notice when the chirping of the birds got a little quieter, didn’t notice when the mountain streams got a little bit ashier
He only started to suspect that something was terribly wrong when he arrived home and found that a car had crashed into it.
Nobody had thought to call him - after all, he was invisible, wasn’t he? –––––––––––––––
Estonia had been asleep, not waking up for his death. It was a small mercy for him, one supposes, that he did not know what was happening and could not feel any fear or pain concerning it.
–––––––––––––––
Lithuania was not so lucky, if one could call anything concerning death “lucky,” that is. He was in the kitchen making himself a warm drink to help him sleep when suddenly he was just…gone. He had no time to realize what was happening as his body disintegrated into ash.
His mug crashed to the ground, the noise jolting Latvia awake. He looked in the kitchen, where the noise had come from, but all he found was Lithuania’s favourite mug shattered on the floor, the man in question nowhere to be found.
Latvia checked Lithuania’s, then Estonia’s rooms. Both were empty, even though it was much too late for them to have gone anywhere.
––––––––––––––––
Poland was home alone, and had not a clue what was happening. He had no idea that half the world had been extinguished with a snap. He had no idea that one of his best friends was dead, and he had no idea why Latvia had called him asking about Lithuania’s whereabouts.
–––––––––––––––
When Netherlands noticed his body disintegrating, his only thought was for his siblings. He had lived a good life, but they were still so full of vigor. He couldn’t bear the thought of them dying when they had so much left to do.
–––––––––––––––
Belgium was alive, and that was all she could really say. She, like America, had seen people turn into dust on TV and had tried to contact her brothers.
Luxembourg was fine, for the most part. His dog - not so much, but he said that his big sister was much more important than his dog.
Netherland’s phone was dead, her call not even going to voicemail.
  Belgium began to worry. –––––––––––––––
Japan and Greece had been together at the time, touring his mother’s ruins and stopping every so often to play with the cats that naturally flocked to Greece. They had decided to take a break to lay down in a field and relax for a bit.
A beautiful spot to die in, or so Greece thought when he noticed his legs starting to disappear.
He faded slower, slower than most of the others. Slow enough for Japan to notice, and slow enough for him to start panicking.
Slow enough for Japan to see the life fade from his eyes. ––––––––––––––––
This was the first and only time that Switzerland and Liechtenstein’s neutrality could not save them.
They had been having tea and a picnic, and then suddenly they were both just…gone, ashes scattered by the winds. –––––––––––––––
Egypt does not know what is going on. Does not know that Greece - who he had practically grown up with - is dead. –––––––––––––––
Seborga had been alone, admiring some scenery and such. There had been no one around to hear his panicked shouts of terror, no one to let him know that Seborga would be missed.
An almost fitting end for a micronation, ignored in both life and death. –––––––––––––––
China was spared from death, but it was no mercy spare. Or at least, that’s what he thought as he held Hong Kong in his final seconds before his arms closed around himself.
Why…? Why had Hong Kong died, and not him? Hong Kong was a mere child, and China had already been alive far too long. How cruel was the world, to kill a child but leave him still there even after five thousand years?
His phone rang five times before China registered that France was calling him, and rang twice more before he forced himself to answer. –––––––––––––––
Seychelles was walking along the beach collecting seashells when tourists started disintegrating. She watched with incomprehensible horror as a woman holding the hand of a small child vanished, along with so many others.
Seychelles had dropped to her knees, too shocked to even cry, mechanically answering her phone when France called her, frantic. She mutely nodded along, agreeing with whatever he said.
It wasn’t until later that Seychelles found out that the reason that the screeching of the gulls had quieted was because half of them were gone too, and not because of shock. But the ocean had pounded at the shore as loudly as ever, washing away all trace of ash and dust.
After all, the ocean was as relentless as time itself, and cared not for human mortality
–––––––––––––––
Turkey was fine. Physically, that is. Emotionally? Well. That was quite another story.
Greece was dead. First his mother and now him, who Turkey had known for centuries. He would never admit it but he did care for the boy, and for him to be dead was - it hurt.
It just hurt so much and Turkey rarely felt his age but now he thought he would never feel anything but ancient again. –––––––––––––––
Kugelmugel had been painting when he noticed his body dissolving. They accepted it calmly, as death was merely another form of art, and what was a greater aspiration of theirs than to become art?
The ashes from their body stuck into the still-wet paint of the field of daffodils they had been painting. It must have been some sort of cruel irony, to have the ashes of a child forever stuck in the paint of a flower that symbolizes life.
HELL YEAH I LOVE THIS. short n quick.

Larry King, legendary talk show host, dies at 87 King hosted “Larry King Live” on CNN for over 25 years, interviewing presidential candidates, celebrities, athletes, movie stars and everyday people. He retired in 2010 after taping more than 6,000 episodes of the show. A statement was posted on his verified Facebook account announcing his passing. His son, Chance, confirmed King’s death Saturday morning. “With profound sadness, Ora Media announces the death of our co-founder, host and friend Larry King, who passed away this morning at age 87 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles,” the statement said. “For 63 years and across the platforms of radio, television and digital media, Larry’s many thousands of interviews, awards, and global acclaim stand as a testament to his unique and lasting talent as a broadcaster.” The statement did not give a cause of death. He battled a number of health problems King had been hospitalized with Covid-19 in late December at Cedars-Sinai, a source close to the family said at the time. He battled a number of health problems over the years, suffering several heart attacks. In 1987, he underwent quintuple bypass surgery, inspiring him to establish the Larry King Cardiac Foundation to provide assistance to those without insurance. More recently, King revealed in 2017 that he had been diagnosed with lung cancer and successfully underwent surgery to treat it. He also underwent a procedure in 2019 to address angina. King also suffered personal loss last year when two of his adult children died within weeks of each other: Andy King, 65, suffered a heart attack and daughter Chaia King, 52, died after being diagnosed with lung cancer. King is survived by three sons, Larry, Jr., Chance and Cannon, who released a statement following their father’s death. “The world knew Larry King as a great broadcaster and interviewer, but to us he was ‘Dad.’ He was the man who lovingly obsessed over our daily schedules and our well-being, and who took such immense pride in our accomplishments — large, small, or imagined,” their statement said. “Through it all, we knew without a doubt in the world that he loved us more than life itself. He was an amazing father, and he was fiercely loyal to those lucky enough to call him a friend. We will miss him every single day of our lives.” The sons asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the Beverly Hills Fire Department EMS. He interviewed every president from Ford to Obama In an era filled with star newsmen, King was a giant — among the most prominent questioners on television and a host to presidents, movie stars and world class athletes. With an affable, easygoing demeanor that distinguished him from more intense TV interviewers, King perfected a casual approach to the Q&A format, always leaning forward and listening intently to his guests, rarely interrupting. “I’ve never learned anything,” King was fond of saying, “while I was talking.” CNN founder Ted Turner, in a statement, said news of King’s death “felt like a punch to the gut.” “Larry was one of my closest and dearest friends and, in my opinion, the world’s greatest broadcast journalist of all time,” he said. “If anyone asked me what are my greatest career achievements in life, one is the creation of CNN, and the other is hiring Larry King. Like so many who worked with and knew Larry, he was a consummate professional, an amazing mentor to many and a good friend to all. The world has lost a true legend.” Jeff Zucker, CNN President, on Saturday acknowledged King’s role in raising the network’s profile around the world. “We mourn the passing of our colleague Larry King,” he said in a statement. “The scrappy young man from Brooklyn had a history-making career spanning radio and television. His curiosity about the world propelled his award-winning career in broadcasting, but it was his generosity of spirit that drew the world to him. We are so proud of the 25 years he spent with CNN, where his newsmaker interviews truly put the network on the international stage. From our CNN family to Larry’s, we send our thoughts and prayers, and a promise to carry on his curiosity for the world in our work.” For that quarter century, King hosted “Larry King Live” on CNN, a span that was highlighted by more than 30,000 interviews, including every sitting president from Gerald Ford to Barack Obama, and thousands of phone calls from viewers. Wendy Walker, his longtime executive producer on the show, said King treated all of his interview subjects the same — from heads of state to ordinary Americans. “The one thing he loved was being in front of that camera,” she said. “He was a very interesting man but that one hour a day, when those lights came on, he was just perfect. He treated every guest the same. It didn’t matter if it was a president or somebody just off the street.” King was known for not spending time preparing for interviews, preferring instead to let his natural curiosity guide the conversations, Walker said. “Probably that was the hardest part of our job — trying to prepare him because he never wanted to be prepared,” she recalled. “He read all day long and watched news, so he was really informed but he really just wanted to hear his guests talk and then come up with his questions.” The show made King one of the faces of the network, and one of the most famous television journalists in the country. His column in USA Today, which ran for nearly 20 years until 2001, showcased King’s distinct style in print, inviting readers down a trail of non-sequiturs that served as a window into his mind. “The most underutilized player in the NFL this year was Washington’s Desmond Howard…Despite what you think of Lawrence Walsh, we will always have the need for a special prosecutor because a government cannot investigate itself,” King wrote in a 1992 column. Those musings, combined with his unmistakable appearance — oversized glasses, ever-present suspenders — made King ripe for caricature. In the 1990s, he was portrayed on “Saturday Night Live” by Norm MacDonald, who channeled the USA Today column with a spot-on impersonation. Jokes aside, King’s influence is evident today in the generation of podcasters who have mimicked — whether deliberate or not — his conversational approach to interviews. “A good interview — you know more than you do before you start. You should come away with maybe some of your opinions changed,” King told the Los Angeles Times in 2018. “You should certainly come away entertained — an interviewer is also an entertainer.” He started his media career as a disc jockey Born Lawrence Harvey Zeiger on November 19, 1933, in Brooklyn, New York, King was raised by two Jewish immigrants. His mother, Jennie (Gitlitz) Zeiger, was from Lithuania, while his father, Edward Zeiger, hailed from Ukraine. Edward died of a heart attack when King was 10, a memory King said he mostly “blocked out.” Left to raise King and his younger brother Marty alone, Jennie Zeiger was forced to go on welfare to support her children. The death had a profound effect on King, and his mother. “Prior to his death, I’d been a good student but afterwards, I just stopped being interested,” King told The Guardian in a 2015 interview. “It was a real blow to me. But eventually I channeled that anger because I wanted to make him and my mother proud.” King said his father had enormous influence on him, instilling in his son a sense of humor and a love of sports. And no sport drew more of King’s affection than baseball. He grew up a fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers, and continued to support the team after its move to Los Angeles. He was a fixture at the team’s home games in Dodger Stadium, often spotted in the high-priced seats behind home plate. In 2004, King wrote a book aptly titled, “Why I Love Baseball.” “He was a voracious Dodgers fan, baseball fan,” said longtime friend and Dodgers sportscaster Charley Steiner. “And we would fuss and fight about what the Dodgers were doing. He was terribly frustrated year after year when the Dodgers would win the division, fall short in the World Series. But this year he got to see the Dodgers win the World Series. It made him enormously happy.” King’s career in media began in earnest in 1957, when he took a job as a disc jockey at WAHR-AM in Miami. It was then when he made the decision to drop his surname. “You can’t use Larry Zeiger,” he recalled his boss at the station saying. “It’s too ethnic. People won’t be able to spell it or remember it. You need a better name.” “There was no time to think about whether this was good or bad or what my mother would say. I was going on the air in five minutes,” King wrote in his 2009 autobiography. “The Miami Herald was spread out on his desk. Face-up was a full-page ad for King’s Wholesale Liquors. The general manager looked down and said, ‘King! How about Larry King?'” His CNN show premiered in 1985 It was around this time that King entered what would become a string of failed marriages. His union with Frada Miller was annulled, and the dates of his second marriage with Annette Kaye are publicly unavailable. From 1961-63, King was married to Alene Akins, whom he married again from 1967-71; before they re-married, King tied the knot with Mickey Sutphin in 1964 before they divorced in 1966. He had two more divorces — with Sharon Lepore, with whom he was married from 1976-82, and Julie Alexander, with whom he was married from 1989-92 — before marrying his seventh wife, Shawn Southwick in 1997 at UCLA Medical Center, as he was about to undergo cardiac surgery. King filed for divorce from Southwick in 2019, citing irreconcilable differences. King remained in Miami for years, eventually getting hired as a columnist for the Miami Herald in 1965. In 1971, he was arrested in Miami on charges of grand larceny, which led to his suspension from the station and newspaper where he was employed. Although the charges were dismissed the following year, King was not re-hired, prompting him to decamp Florida and head to Louisiana, where he worked as a freelance journalist. By 1978, King returned to Miami and to WIOD, the station where he was employed at the time of his arrest. The same year, “The Larry King Show” launched as a syndicated late-night radio show. It originally aired in 28 cities; within five years, it had spread to 118 cities, serving as the springboard to fame. The show won a Peabody Award in 1982. In 1985, “Larry King Live” premiered on CNN, beginning a long and storied run that included a number of high-profile interviews. Throughout its more than two decades on air, the show was routinely CNN’s most-watched program, and King was arguably the network’s biggest star. King left CNN in 2011, a move he expected would amount to retirement. But he kept working until his death, hosting “Larry King Now,” a program that aired on Ora TV, Hulu and RT America. King, it seemed, just never wanted the interview to end. “I just love what I do,” he said, “I love asking questions, I love doing the interviews.” CNN’s Sonia Tucker and David J. Lopez contributed to this report. Source link #Dies #dies-CNN #host #King #Larry #LarryKing #Legendary #legendarytalkshowhost #Show #talk #us

Larry King, legendary talk show host, dies at 87
King hosted “Larry King Live” on Appradab for over 25 years, interviewing presidential candidates, celebrities, athletes, movie stars and everyday people.
“For 63 years and across the platforms of radio, television and digital media, Larry’s many thousands of interviews, awards, and global acclaim stand as a testament to his unique and lasting talent as a broadcaster.”
The statement did not give a cause of death.
He battled a number of health problems
King had been hospitalized with Covid-19 in late December at Cedars-Sinai, a source close to the family said at the time.

“There was no time to think about whether this was good or bad or what my mother would say. I was going on the air in five minutes,” King wrote in his 2009 autobiography.
“The Miami Herald was spread out on his desk. Face-up was a full-page ad for King’s Wholesale Liquors. The general manager looked down and said, ‘King! How about Larry King?'”
His Appradab show premiered in 1985
It was around this time that King entered what would become a string of failed marriages.
In 1985, “Larry King Live” premiered on Appradab, beginning a long and storied run that included a number of high-profile interviews. Throughout its more than two decades on air, the show was routinely Appradab’s most-watched program, and King was arguably the network’s biggest star.
King left Appradab in 2011, a move he expected would amount to retirement. But he kept working until his death, hosting “Larry King Now,” a program that aired on Ora TV, Hulu and RT America. King, it seemed, just never wanted the interview to end.
“I just love what I do,” he said, “I love asking questions, I love doing the interviews.”

KGB Knows Russians Love Tea
LOS ANGELES (OnlineColumnist.com), Sept. 8, 2020.--No matter how much Russian exiles love their tea, they must think twice with 67-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin heading the Russian Federation.  When Russian opposition leader 55-uear-old Alexi Navalny was poisoned Sept. 3 at the Tomsk airport, becoming deathly ill on his flight to Moscow, forcing his plane to make an emergency landing in Omsk, where he was promptly flown in a coma to Berlin for emergency medical treatment.  While Kremlin spokeswoman 44-year-old Maria Zakharov denied any Kremlin involvement, German medical oficials confirmed Navalny’s toxicology report indicating the poison was Soviet-era Novichok, one of the deadliest, fastest-acting poisons known to man.  Easily dissolvable in hot tea, Novichot was the poison used March 4, 2018 by Russian double-agents in Salisbury, U.K. to kill 69-year-old Sergei Skripal and his 36-tear-old daughter Yulia.
Lucky for the Skripals, both survived the poisoning attack by no doubt FSB double agents living in the U.K.  Scotland Yard did an exhaustive analysis of the poison, identifying Novichok, something most likely used by the FSB/KGB for hits using poisons typically disguised in Russian-type tea.  North Korea’s Kim Jong-un took it one step further poisoning his half 47-year-old -brother Kim Jong-nam Feb. 13, 2017 in the Kuala Lumpur Airport in Singapore, Malaysia.  Kim learned well from the KGB what to do with dissidents who betray the fatherland or run afoul in Putin in Kim.  Germany’s 53-year-old Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said he expected an explanation from Putin or would ask European Union for sanctions against Russia.  Maas warned that Germany could reconsider its involvement in the Nord-Stream pipeline, busy being completed beneath the Baltic Sea.
Threats against Putin haven’t worked well in the past for the EU, terrified that he could pull another annexation of a NATO state somewhere in the EU territory.  When Putin invaded Crimea March 1, 2014, NATO and the EU did nothing, not wanting to confront the Russian Army.  Why Maas thinks it’s any different today that it was back in 2014 is anyone’s guess.  Putin shows no sign of admitting anything when comes to Navalny.  Fortunately for Russia’s only real opposition leader, German medical officials said he came out of a medically-induced coma.  Whether or not he’s brain damaged from the poison or has other health complications is anyone’s guess.  What’s known Sept. 7 is that Navalny was brought out of his coma and seems responding to visual and auditory cues.  “It remains too early to gauge the potential long-term effects of his severe poisoning,” Berlin’s Charité Hospital reported.
Germany buys up to 80% of its natural gas from Russia, unlikely to take any draconic action against the Russian Federation for Putin’s targeted assassination attempt.  When Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered the hit on 60-year-old Washington Post jounalist Jamal Kashoggi Oct. 2, 2018, the United States, European Union and United Nations stomped their feet, but did nothing.  When it comes to Russia, it’s even more difficult for the U.S., EU or U.N. to respond, especially with Poland, the Baltic States of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia fearful of a Russian invasion.  What Putin did in Salisbuy poisoning the Scripals and now Navalny in Tomsk shows an undeniable pattern, no matter what the Kremlin says.  Navalny was especially crtiical of Putin’s revision to the Russian Constitution, allowing him to serve indefinitely as Russia’s president, a kind of new Tsar.
German’s military lab in Berlin confirmed that Navalny succumbed to Soviet-era Novichok poisoning, not generally available except to Russia’s FSB Security Service that superceded the KGB.  “There’s no doubt whatsoever,” that Navalny was poisoned with Novichok, former Russia CIA bureau chief Steven Hill told NPR.  With all of Russia’s denials, it’s bewildering disinformation for journalists, so buffaloed by their own propaganda in the United States, they can’t tell any longer when the Russian government’s making up stories.  Russian Foreign Minister Spokeswoman Zakharov knows how to blow smoke or she wouldn’t have her Kremlin job.  Expressing “deep concern” over Navalny’s poisoning, U.K.’s First Secretary of State Dominic Raab said on Twitter.  After the Skripal poisoning in Salisbury, Raab and other U.K. officials expressed exasperation with Putin. Whether admitted to or not, Putin’s Russia is a pariah state, taking liberty to violate international norms when it suits their whims.
Since Putin invaded Crimea, showing no sign of returning the once Ukrainian peninsula, the U.S., EU and U.N. have been reluctant to take action.  Ever since Putin invaded Georgia’s South Ossetia and Abkhazia Aug. 7. 2008, the U.S. has stayed clear of confrontation with Russia.  When Putin invaded Crimea March 1, 2014, Western powers were so jaded that they did nothing to deter Russia from more rogue behavior.  “It is completely unacceptable that a banned chemical weapon has been used and Russia must hold a full, transparent investigation,” Raab said, knowing nothing will get done.  “Attempts to somehow associate Russia with what happened are unacceptable to us, that are absurd,” Putin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the BBC.
