imagine you're a model that got swept into a large house party hosted by none other than hollywood fuckboy!lando. you're swarmed by the groups of chatting celebrities and loud music as you stumble through the various rooms of his large estate, trying to get some air from the havoc around you. unfortunately, you take a wrong turn and end up in the one room you didn't want to end up in. the room where everyone seems to be high off their tits on drugs and other illegal substances they could get their hands on. before you can turn on your heel, a man in a suede jacket notices you, joint wedged between his lips. "my, my. who might you be?" he drawls lowly, his brown curls sticking to his forehead as he takes a drag of the joint, smirking. "c'mon, sweetheart. don't be shy." he adds before patting his lap, "you stumbled in on the fun, you may as well embrace it now." he finishes with a shrug and a devilish smirk, as he lures you into his lap. you're already buzzed from the alcohol as you perch on his sturdy thigh, dragging your bottom lip with you teeth as he brings the stick to his lips again, before blowing the smoke in your face, watching you squirm. "you're such a lightweight." the man teases, enjoying your reactions as his pupils stay blown out wide before offering you the joint, "one puff won't hurt, go on. you might enjoy it." he mumbles thickly in that accent that makes you weak in the knees and as a result you agree. you take a swig of the joint, coughing from the richness of the marijuana before laughing it off despite the tears brimming in your eyes. before long, the man's joint is discarded into the ash tray as a large hand comes to cradle your cheek, basically engulfing it as he smiles a wolfish grin. "do you even know who i am, darling?" he asks curiously his brow arched despite there being a hint of humour in his voice, eyes sparkling with excitement. you shake your head bashfully before he laughs loudly, thumb now trailing over your perfectly painted lips. "i'm lando. lando norris." he says with a smug confidence and that's when your heart drops with realisation. you knew lando norris was hot, but not this hot. but you also knew of his history. the scandals, everything. but the way his flushed face is illuminated underneath the fluorescent lights, his curls sticking to his slick forehead, his strong thighs keeping your upright with ease, but also his large hands holding your cheek and hip, plus the tight black tee he wore under his jacket hiding the chiseled pecs and other toned muscles he openly showed on the big screen caused your breath to catch in your throat. the magnetic pull between you both palpable. his eyes did the same, trailing down your body, undressing you with his eyes as his eyes glossed over every curve and accent of your body which was highlighted by the skimpy fabric of your dress riding dangerously up your thighs, causing the lace of your panties to be seen ever so discreetly. after a moment of tension, lando's face edges closer to yours, whispering a "you're beautiful" into your lips, nose grazing as before his lips find yours. the kiss is tender but hungry as his hand moves from from your hip to your thigh, and his other to your neck, pressing your lips deeper onto his. your tongue intertwines with his instantly as he soon presses you into the couch you were both sitting on ever so innocently, hands coming to grip your ass, before hooking underneath the bunched up fabric of your dress, pulling down your lace panties ever so slowly but hungrily down your legs as you both were in for a veryyyy long night of love making. <3
an: this is for my queen @bunnynonnie and for the fact that we were both going insane over lando's tumi collab x

lando norris
tags: smut/pwp, masturbation, camgirl!reader, dirty talking & teasing, fantasies, lando is down bad
lando norris could honestly have any woman he wanted. his good looks, his winning streak, his money, it was all alluring to almost any woman on the planet! but money could buy a hell of a lot of things, he was spending his prize money on one of the hottest women he had ever laid eyes on.
so while he should be out clubbing on a warm night in july, instead he was in his hotel room, hunched over his laptop with his cock in his hand. he had a newly purchased bottle of lube and a white hotel towel for after.
he leaned against the headboard as your stream started, his cock twitched in anticipation.god, you were perfect. it should illegal for someone to be that perfect.
the stream started and lando could already feel his wallet a little lighter.
you got down on the futon on the floor with the camera aimed at you. you smiled. you wore a small mask to conceal most of your identity, but lando had every inch of you mapped out in his mind. you were perfect, beyond perfect.
"good evening my little rabbits, i hope everyone has been having a good week." you said almost casually as if you weren't kneeling dressed in skimpy lingerie, "this came in the mail the other day from a fan, so i want to thank luckynumber4 for sending this to me!"
lando smiled to himself. he knew he picked well,
you leaned in a little closer to the camera and said, "i have to let you in on a secret." you said cheekily, "the number four is my lucky number too. and since it is the fourth today, let's test our luck." then shuffled over to grab the toy you took out earlier.
it felt odd talking to no one, but you tried to not to think about it too hard as you showed the camera the black rabbit vibrator. you giggled, "seems only fair that my rabbits get to see me play with a rabbit."
lando shuddered at the sight of it. he bought and sent that to you as well. he wanted to make sure that you only had the best. he knew that you did private shows, but that usually involved the buyer showing their face. and well it was obvious why lando was a little nervous to do that.
the near legendary lando norris didn't have to buy cam-shows, except he was getting the lube on his hand to lean back against the headboard and enjoy himself tonight.
you shifted yourself so more of your pussy was exposed to the camera, the panties hit perfectly across your thick thighs and he could make out a small wet mark on the crotch of the panties. he licked his lips, he wondered what you tasted like.
sometimes he wondered what you did during the day, you looked about his age. should be in school, not turning on gross old men on the internet. but yet, lando still grasped his slick cock as you teased your pussy over the panties with the vibrator.
you said almost breathless, "i guess i owe you a lot luckynumber4. the lingerie, this toy." you giggled, "you're going to make the other viewers jealous." you swallowed as you rubbed the toy up against your achy sex, "but don't worry my other rabbits, there's more than enough of me to go around."
then when the panties came off, tossed over your head in an almost comical fashion, the donations started to come in. you learned a while ago how to turn off the 'ping' that came when you received a donation. it made it hard to touch yourself with the constant noise.
"i hope this was all worth it." you said with a soft exhale as you positioned yourself to expose your pussy then rub the toy up against your wet clit, "i thought about it all week. how i wanted to make it special." your voice was sweet to lando's ears as he continued to pleasure himself.
he shifted his spot on the bed and eyed you closely. he could imagine his face between those plush tits or having his cock inside of your pussy. he bet it would feel like heaven, it only excited him further. even though there weren't many photos of you nor did he know your actual name. he didn't care, he loved jerking off to you. it excited him to see you command a stream so well. he wish he had that kind of presence in his (safe for work) twitch streams!
you slipped the toy inside of you and leaned back a little onto a stack of pillows. your breathing was a little heavier as the toy also rubbed against your clit, "that's it. fuck, that's it. mmm, it's been so lonely in my apartment. been by myself." you shuddered, "wishing you were here." you tilted your head back for a moment, "i know you're not a vibrator, but i bet you could make my toes curl."
you didn't have to look at the stream to know that the money was coming in. you liked the pay-out, but you also loved being the center of attention. all these eyes on you as your masturbated. maybe it was a secret kink, but you didn't care.
they got off to you, you got off to yourself and the money came rolling in. you tried not to think about what the men looked like behind the screen as you touched yourself. you imagined meeting a nice guy your age, the kind that knew his away around a woman's anatomy. someone to make you cum besides your own fingers or toys.
maybe you craved a man's touch for once, but tonight you'd just have to do with your buzzing little rabbit. you moved the vibrator in and out of you. you moaned a little louder as you felt your breathing increase. you felt the heat in your body as you pleasured yourself. it was quite the feeling and it left you feeling sexually excited.
lando's grasp tightened on his cock as he quickly masturbated. he could feel the rush to his head as he toyed with his dick. he wished he was fucking you at that moment on stream. let everyone see how well you took him. you took the toys he gifted you like a champ, you'd handle him just fine. his cock was leaky with pre-cum and he could taste the pleasure on his tongue. he loved the feeling, he felt sexually charged like a live wire. he leaned a little forward as he stroked his cock faster. the feeling was intense, it was like sparks in his brain.
you felt similiar, you toyed with your pussy. your eyes closed a little bit at the feeling of pleasure raced through you. you tensed up for a moment and tried to stave off the feeling of climax. everything felt fairly intense in your core as the toy hit all the right places. you pushed it in and out of you as the other part rubbed against your stiff clit.
the rabbit vibrators were the champion of toys, the stimulation left you feeling heated. you knew you weren't going to last much longer. the pleasure could be felt throughout your entire body, it left you feeling excited all over. you shakily exhaled and felt the leap of excitement through you.
"fuck, i wish you were here. this toy is great, but you'd be better. so much better." you toyed with your nipple with your free hand. you had to put on a good show to the paying customers. you rolled your hips a little and you peeked a glance at your total for the evening and couldn't help but smile.
you got a little louder as you neared orgasm. you felt the flutter of want in your chest. it was exciting to climax in front of an audience. you panted a little heavier for dramatic effect. your toes curled as you said, "thank you, i hope next time you make me feel this good." you looked at the camera with a bit of seduction to your lovely fans, "i'd love to cum for you."
and you saw the flurry of messages in the chat as you reached your climax with a sweet, sharp noise. your cunt tensed around the toy as you slowed your movements and let the pleasure wash over you. you continued to slowly work the toy in your pussy, feeling the after shivers from the vibrations.
you continued to talk, "fuck, that feels good. i wish it was you. you know exactly how to make me squirm. i bet your mouth would feel good on my hot skin right now." your voice was near a purr and you knew that riled them up.
you played with yourself lazily while you felt the excitement of pleasure cool in your blood. you licked your lips and said, "you'd like that, huh? to have me bounce on your cock like an eager bunny? maybe if you play your cards right." give them the illusion of having you, that right now they were the center of the world.
it makes them more willing to empty their wallets
lando was quickly touching himself. he drank in the sight of your blissed out state. he dropped more then a couple hundred euros into your change purse tonight and he knew that he had to send you another gift. he wished he was there, fucking you on that stupid futon. or better yet, spreading you out on a nice hotel bed and fucking you until you sounded as sweet as you did at that moment. he wondered how many rounds you could go before you had enough.
he wanted to be better than any of the toys you had or could ever have. he wanted you, he needed you. and with a few more hard tugs of his cock, he finished all over his mclaren t-shirt and relaxed against the headboard with a heavy exhale.
"holy shit." he said to himself as he pushed curls out of his face with his free hand. he admired you as his cum stained the shirt. he panted heavily.
if anyone knew about this lando would appear desperate. but as you swapped out the rabbit vibrator for another, big toy, he felt his softened cock get hard again.
he might appear desperate but as your moans came through the speakers, he couldn't help himself.
-
it was the following weekend on the track and lando was taking it rather easy all things considered, he killed it qualifiers and it appeared that this was his weekend. he was currently waiting outside so he could walk in with oscar.
"want you to meet her this weekend, she's a real catch!"
lando smiled to himself when he saw the car pull up, he went to approach it and then his smile dropped when the passenger door opened. he expected another lovely on oscar's arm. but instead he came face to face with you.
and while lando didn't tend to pry too hard into oscar's love life. but he recognized those eyes. usually they were behind the bunny mask. but he knew. and you had zero idea that he knew. he tried to hold his smile as oscar came from the other side of the car.
"lando!" he introduced you by name, "this is my new girlfriend!"
lando's hand shook when he reached out to shook yours. he couldn't believe his fucking eyes, this felt like a sick joke. but this was actually happening.
you smile at him and shook his hand lightly, "it's lovely to meet you." your voice sounded like heaven in person, "i've heard so much about you! wanna know something funny, the number four is actually my lucky number." <3

i know close to nothing about golf but can't stop thinking about lando having a crush on reader who works as a beverage cart girl at the course he frequents so he keeps buying drinks even though he really doesn't need them just so she'll keep coming around. at first it's only like one, maybe two drinks and a nice little chat, but as lando's crush grows so does the amount of money he spends, and you just know the guy is a very generous tipper too. the money really isn't an object with him and it means he gets to talk to her and the tips are fully hers anyways, so it's a win win situation for everyone!
soon it gets obvious enough to the point where anyone he's golfing with (usually max, occasionally carlos or alex) is just like mate you're not subtle at all stop being pathetic and ask her out already 🤨 maybe he goes away for a triple header and realizes he can't stop thinking about her. and when he finally does return to the course she's on shift and she's just like there's my favorite customer! i was starting to think you'd forgotten about me 😉 when it was quite literally the opposite.
anyways yeah so lando and beverage cart girl has been on the brain lately! idk if i'll do anything with the idea but if anyone wants to chime in or talk about it i am so down :)

You're a Strange One ! LN04

SUMMARY 𝄡 Being Oscar's personal assistant is easy. However, you cannot help but think his coworker is the strangest man you've ever met.
PAIRING 𝄡 Lando Norris x Oscar's PA! FemReader
TAGS 𝄡 Fluff.
WORDCOUNT 𝄡 650.
NOTE 𝄡 This is just a little something I had in mind. This is more of a pairing exploration than a real one-shot. I don't know what to make of it, tbh. Do you think this couple has enough potential for a one-shot? <33
-> FIND THE SERIES INSPIRED BY THIS DRABBLE HERE.
likes, comments, reblogs are much appreciated!
You never imagined that you'd end up working as Oscar Piastri’s personal assistant after getting your degree in communications summa cum laude.
If your parents had nearly had a heart attack upon seeing their daughter “reduced to a servant” after paying for one of the country’s most prestigious universities, you, on the other hand, had learned to bless this twist of fate.
Because it was indeed fate you had to thank for the way your life had turned out. People underestimated its power far too often, but you had come to cherish it and to welcome it back whenever it decided to reappear.
Fate made its grand entrance in your life one night in 2023, after yet another rejection from talent agencies and management firms. Internships, professional experience, glowing references—none of it seemed to matter to the big corporations. What mattered were connections, and you had none.
That night, you'd had two glasses of red wine, perhaps more, your cheeks streaked with mascara and frustration.
Fate, ironically methodical despite its name, had chosen that precise moment to show up in the form of a job listing on a website whose name you no longer remember. What you did remember, however, was how your eyes widened as you read the salary and perks.
One cover letter, three interviews later, and suddenly your life was split between racetracks, England, and Monaco.
Every day, you thanked fate for putting Oscar Piastri in your path.
He was easy to work with: a coffee without sugar in the morning, a calendar of sporadic appointments to manage—mostly concentrated on race weekends—and very few public appearances outside those. In short, a normal guy, refreshingly different from the awful clients you'd heard horror stories about since entering the strange world of celebrity.
The only blemish—though not quite that, more a curiosity you hadn’t anticipated—was that working for Oscar Piastri meant regularly crossing paths with Lando Norris.
And you didn’t quite know what to make of him, except that he was oh so very strange.
The first time he saw you, he tripped.
You hadn’t even had time to shake his hand, and Oscar hadn’t yet introduced you.
Your eyes met, the Brit blushed furiously, then went sprawling to the ground. You stood frozen before exchanging a baffled look with Oscar, who merely sighed and hauled his friend back to his feet.
The following encounters were no better.
By the third one, you concluded that Lando Norris must have some kind of speech impediment—he couldn’t seem to string two words together around you. Not even to answer simple questions like “How are you?” or “Do you know where Oscar is?”.
Instead, he’d stammer something utterly unintelligible, then vanish, leaving you to wander alone through the endless corridors of the McLaren Technology Centre in search of Oscar.
And now… now he stared. All the time. Without saying a word. You had never felt more awkward in your life.
Even now, you couldn’t escape those green eyes, burning hotter than the Bahrain sun. The McLaren garage was buzzing as the race neared, yet Lando remained still in one corner, eyes locked on you.
Too busy fetching cold towels and water bottles to cool Oscar down, you had ignored him at first. But now that the Australian had his towels, his bottle, his headphones, and his phone, there was nothing left to keep you distracted.
You finally looked up. Your gaze met Lando’s just as he took a sip of water.
Startled, he choked, spraying water all over his engineer—who shouted something you couldn’t quite catch. Lando floundered through an apology, cheeks crimson.
Your eyes met again.
He smiled—sheepishly, like it hurt—and turned around.
Before walking straight into a wall.
You frowned, shook your head and turned your attention back to the race schedule.
Yes. Lando Norris was definitely the strangest man you had ever met.

bunny! - ln4
pairing: lando norris x fem!reader summary: in which lando always calls you bunny OR your favorite place to be is riding lando's cock warnings: smut, riding, dirty talk, language, pet name!, NOT PROOFREAD (I hate re-reading stuff I write if you couldn't tell hahahah) word count: 1.2k ish author's note: this idea came to mind LAST NIGHT and i just had to write it since i'm off of work today. talk about me feeding y'all LOL xoxo still working on oscar's version of aphrodisiac chocolates!!! I literally wrote this in like an hour so it’s shortttt. xoxo ily ◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤
Lando calls you Bunny like it’s your actual name.
Don’t forget your lanyard later, Bunny
Hey Bunny, can you hand me that?
Y’look great, Bun
It was constant. In the paddock. During interviews. Even the fans notice it. Some thought it was a childhood thing. Others assumed it was just something that stuck.
And the rest of the grid? Of course they asked.
And every time, you and Lando offered a different answer.
She had these ridiculous bunny ears the first time I met here…never wanted to take them off.
Her nose used to do this little twitch whenever she was annoyed…I swear
She loves carrots
And tonight was no different.
You’re curled into the booth beside Lando, wine glass in hand, one leg draped over his under the table. He was warm, hand on your thigh. Thumb brushing soft, lazy circles.
And then it came up again.
“Alright…someone has to ask again,” Pierre points his fork toward Lando. “Bunny. What’s it actually from?”
Groans went around the table. Everyone chattering how he’ll never tell you. Just let them have their secrets.
And Oscar grins. “No, I wanna hear this one.” He leans forward. “What’s the excuse tonight?”
Lando doesn’t miss a beat. Fingers gripping your leg. A grin pulled onto his mouth.
“Showed up to my flat in bunny ears once. Wouldn’t take them off.”
You scoff beside him. “It was Halloween.”
“She wore them to sleep.”
And laughter erupts around the table.
And his hand tightens on your thigh. And you felt the shift in his demeanor.
The part no one ever saw.
The reason why he started calling you that.
Didn’t know that the first time he’d said it, was barely a whisper, as you rode him in his driver’s room after a race.
How you were so worked up, desperate, how your knees trembled as you bounced on him like you couldn’t stop.
They didn’t know how he said it when you were on top. How he groaned against your lips.
“Okay but seriously,” Charles says, laughing. “Is it like a….is it like a kink thing?”
You choke on your wine. And Lando drags his fingers higher up your leg.
Lando didn’t even so much as blink. “Absolutely not.”
And later, after everyone said their goodnights and you slipped into the car with him, Lando was quiet. Calm. Fingers brushing against your skin whenever they could.
And when you got back to the hotel. The door clicking shut.
He says, “Everyone thinks it started with ears…”
He presses you into the wall.
“But it was this fuckin’ cunt, Bunny.”
His voice was low. And you gasp, fingers curling into the fabric of his hoodie, as he grinds his hips into you. Slow. Heavy. Could feel how hard he was.
He kisses your jaw, under your ear…biting, sucking, claiming you.
“Fuck,” he groans into your skin. “Remember that night? In the driver’s room? You got on top of me like you needed it. Like you were gonna die if I didn’t let you bounce on my fuckin’ cock.”
You whimper.
“I think about it every fuckin’ day.” He groans.
And you don’t even get a chance to respond before he lifts you off the ground, hands gripping your thighs, and carries you straight to the bed.
“M’so obsessed with it,” he says, voice rough. Kissing you again as he drops you on the mattress and yanks his hoodie over his head with one hand. “With you. With this fuckin’ cunt.”
He kneels between your legs, pulls your panties off, and then stuffs them in his back pocket.
He pulls his jeans down, cock hard and thick. Leaking.
“Don’t even wanna fuck you from behind anymore. Just want you on top. Losing your fuckin’ mind on my cock.”
You crawl into his lap, straddling him like instinct.
And he hisses when your cunt touches his tip.
“Y’turned it into a fuckin’ problem,” His hands grip your ass.
You drag his cock through your folds, teasing him. And he hits his head against the headboard with a thud as he drops his head back.
“Y’think I don’t notice the way you moan when I let you sit on it?” He pants. “The way you tell me to shut up and take it like a good boy?”
You sink down on him in a single motion.
“Fuck, Bunny…” He gasps. Hips jerking.
And you start moving. Steadily. Rolling into him.
“Every time you do this,” He says through gritted teeth, hands grabbing your hips. “I tell myself that it’ll be the last. I’ll tell myself Lando, be normal. Change it up.”
And you bounce on him harder.
“But then you climb into my lap with that fuckin crazed look in your eye. And I let you. Always let you.”
His head rests against the headboard. Neck thick. Veiny. Flushed.
“Ride me everywhere. Every fuckin’ place that you shouldn’t.”
He flexes his hips into you, just enough to make your cunt clench. And you gasp.
“Let you ride on me on that fuckin’ plane. My trainer two rows back. Had your sweatshirt over your lap like that would hide it.”
You whimper, pressing your hand to his chest. Cock twitching in you.
“Remember Suzuka?” He continues. “Showed up with no underwear under that skirt, climbed into my lap during lunch and said, five minutes. Just need to use it.”
He groans at the memory. At the feel of your cunt around him.
“Fuckin’ bounced on me while I tried to be normal. Bit into my shoulder while you came.”
You roll your hips harder, whining.
“Imola…my god…” He pants. “Told you I was exhausted. Needed to sleep.”
He lifts his head, eyes meeting yours. Eyes blown.
“And you just got on top. Said I’ll do all the work.” He huffs. “And you did. Fucked me so slow and deep. Grinding into me like you wanted my fuckin’ soul.”
You moan, squeezing him. Panting.
“Monaco yacht…” His hands grip you harder. “Dragged me into that fuckin’ cabin during the afterparty…made me sit on that little chair.”
You both breath out. Hips grinding harder as he fucks into you.
“Remember how many people were there? How many of them heard the fuckin’ chair squeaking under us every time you dropped down onto my cock?”
You’re gasping now. Head falling into his neck.
And he fucking loses it.
Mouth on your throat, sucking a bruise there, as his cock slams up into you.
“Hotels, rental cars, Fuck…in a fuckin’ golf cart. Remember that?” He hisses. “Bahrain. Climbed into my lap after practice, pushed your panties to the side, said you needed to calm down. Calm down.”
You’re sobbing.
“It’s the only way I want it now. Moaning. Grinding. Milking me.”
Your body seizes. Hips uncontrollable now.
“Y’gonna come again?” He grunts. “Make another mess on my cock like always?”
You nod into his shoulder. Unable to speak.
“Do it,” He groans. “C’mon, Bunny. Fuckin’ come all over me.”
And you do.
With a loud moan, cunt squeezing him tight. Shaking. Trembling.
And he was right there with you. Hips jerking as he comes inside you, groaning your name out like he didn’t want it to end.
“Bunny…bunny. Fuck, I fuckin’ love you.”
You collapse into him. Wrecked. Smiling.
“You’ll do it in the morning, yeah?”
You laugh. “Obsessed.”
He kisses your temple.
“Fuckin’ right.”

Crash Course in Love
Lando Norris x Carlos Sainz’s best friend!Reader
Summary: in which Carlos forgets to tell his two best friends they’ll be staying in his villa together, and now a stressed out lawyer has to survive living with a human golden retriever, but you know what they say … opposites attract
You’ve been in Marbella for four days and already gone through three bottles of wine and two existential crises.
Carlos’ villa is too quiet for someone used to white noise: emails pinging, heels clacking, cortisol. The silence in this place isn’t peaceful — it’s accusatory. You’ve spent more time staring at the sea than you have your own reflection in the last ten years, which is saying something.
It feels indulgent. Like if someone walks in, they’ll accuse you of being lazy. You’d have to explain the insomnia, the migraines, the crying in bathroom stalls between depositions.
But Carlos isn’t here to judge. He’s off somewhere filming shampoo commercials in Paris or golfing in socks with his dad. He just texted you the gate code and told you to “relax, coño.” So here you are, inhaling almond-scented air and avoiding your inbox.
You’re halfway through a rerun of The Holiday when the doorbell rings.
You don’t move.
It rings again. Louder.
“Delivery?” You mutter to no one. You didn’t order anything.
You shuffle to the door in socks and an old hoodie of Carlos’ that you’ve unofficially adopted. You crack the door open and freeze.
Lando Norris is standing there. With a suitcase. And a sunburn.
“Hey,” he says, blinking like he’s not entirely sure this is the right house. “You’re not Carlos.”
“You’re … not a delivery guy.”
“Definitely not. Unless you ordered someone with mediocre Spanish and no plan.”
You blink. He grins.
“Sorry, I’m Lando. Uh. Carlos said I could crash in the guest room. Hotel bailed on my reservation. Long story. But he didn’t mention you’d be here.”
“He didn’t mention you’d be here either.”
“Cool. So we’re both surprised. That’s … fun?”
You stare at him. He looks like he just rolled off a yacht he wasn’t invited on. Sleeveless shirt, board shorts, and the confidence of someone who’s never had to Google “how to flirt.”
You open the door all the way. “Come in, I guess.”
He wheels his suitcase past you. It makes an annoying thunk over the threshold. You follow him into the hallway, watching as he does a slow 360 like he’s never seen furniture before.
“Whoa. This place is insane. Does Carlos actually live like this, or is he secretly royalty?”
“Just rich.”
“Same difference.”
You cross your arms. “You want something to drink?”
“God, yes. I’m parched. Is that still a word people use? Parched?”
You turn toward the kitchen. “Not since 1912.”
Behind you, you hear him mutter, “Alright. Tough crowd.”
He follows you to the kitchen like a golden retriever. Doesn’t ask where things are — just opens cabinets and drawers like it’s his Airbnb.
“I got this,” he says, pulling out two glasses. “I’m a fantastic guest. Top tier. Five stars on all platforms.”
You raise an eyebrow. “You have reviews?”
“No, but if I did? Flawless.”
He pours two drinks. One is wine. The other is apple juice. He hands you the wine. “Cheers.”
You eye the juice. “Is that … what you’re drinking?”
“I burnt a little on the flight. Gotta rehydrate.”
He’s completely serious. Like drinking juice is a medical emergency. You stifle a laugh.
“You okay?” He asks, suddenly earnest. “You look like you’re tired. But not like, normal tired. Lawyer tired.”
You blink at him. “Lawyer tired?”
“Yeah. Like … your eyeballs are sleepy but your soul’s still trying to finish a brief.”
You stare.
“I mean that in a good way. Like, impressive. Respectfully.”
“Wow.”
“I should stop talking.”
“Yeah, probably.”
***
Dinner is his idea. You offer to order something in. He insists on cooking. “I make a mean carbonara,” he says. “Or maybe risotto. Wait, do you eat dairy?”
You nod.
“Okay, sick. Chef Lando it is.”
You spend the next hour watching him destroy Carlos’ kitchen with the chaotic enthusiasm of a man who’s only cooked two times in his life and once lit a tea towel on fire.
He tells stories while he cooks, most of them involving near-death experiences, bad tattoos, and a rental car that somehow ended up in a lake.
You lean on the counter, sipping your wine. “Do you ever filter?”
“Rarely. But I can if you want. I can be quiet. Mysterious. Brooding.”
“You?”
He makes a face. “Okay, rude.”
“You burn your hand yet?”
“Twice,” he says cheerfully. “But I’m hiding it to preserve my ego.”
He fumbles with the tongs. Pasta flies out of the pan and onto the floor. He shrugs. “Five-second rule?”
You deadpan. “I’m not that desperate yet.”
He laughs. You notice he has a nice laugh. Not performative. Just … happy.
Dinner is terrible. Somehow both overcooked and cold. You take one bite and try not to gag.
“So?” He asks, eyes wide with hope.
“It’s … ambitious.”
He winces. “I’ll order pizza.”
“I won’t stop you.”
“Should’ve stuck with cereal,” he mutters, pulling out his phone.
You don’t mean to smile. But you do.
***
Later, you sit on the couch with your legs tucked under you while he scrolls through terrible Spanish romcoms on TV.
“This one’s got a 3.4 on IMDb.”
“Perfect.”
He clicks play.
You steal glances at him when he’s not looking. He’s gotten more attractive since the last time you saw him, though you’re not sure if it’s the jawline or the fact that he keeps folding your hoodie when you leave it on the back of a chair.
He’s obnoxious, yes. Too comfortable too fast. But when you yawn mid-movie, his entire face falls.
“Oh no, I’m boring you.”
“It’s the wine.”
“I’m still boring you.”
“You’re not.”
“I totally am.”
He turns toward you, earnest again. It’s disarming. “You wanna sleep? I’ll shut up.”
“You never shut up.”
“Harsh.”
He watches you for a moment. “You sure you’re okay?”
You pause. That question again. The one you’ve been dodging since the breakdown.
“Yeah,” you lie.
He nods. But doesn’t push.
You both go quiet. The movie drones on in the background.
“Hey,” he says suddenly.
“Yeah?”
“You’ve got a cool vibe.”
You look at him. “What does that mean?”
“I dunno. Like … your energy. It’s nice.”
You snort. “Are you high?”
“No! I’m complimenting you. With words.”
“This is how a teenager hits on a barista.”
“Okay, true, but still. I meant it.”
You stare at him.
He grins. “Just accept the compliment.”
You roll your eyes. But you don’t say no.
***
By the time you head to bed, the house smells like burnt garlic and whatever cologne he bathed in.
You hear him shuffling around in the guest room next to yours. Singing under his breath. Awful pitch.
You press your face into the pillow. You’re not supposed to like this. The noise. The chaos. The presence.
But when you wake up later and find your bags stacked neatly by the door — shoes lined up, hoodie folded on the chair — you smile.
Just a little.
And only when no one’s looking.
***
It starts the next morning with coffee.
You’re barely awake — just a hoodie-draped zombie with bed hair and a fading dream you don’t want to examine — when he appears in the kitchen, too chipper, too shirtless.
“You drink it black, right?” Lando asks, holding out a steaming cup like he’s been doing this forever. His curls are a mess. There’s toothpaste on his chin.
You blink at him. “How do you know how I take my coffee?”
“You made fun of me yesterday for putting oat milk in mine. I remembered.” He shrugs like it’s no big deal. “It’s called observation. I do it professionally.”
“Driving is not the same as remembering my coffee order.”
“I do both with style.”
You accept the cup, suspicious. “Did you spit in this?”
“Only love and a little judgment.”
You take a sip. It’s surprisingly decent.
“You’re not completely useless.”
“That’s the nicest thing you’ve ever said to me.”
He says it with a grin, but something flickers in his eyes when you smile over your cup. You don’t catch it. Not yet.
***
Days pass like that. Mornings laced with caffeine and accidental comfort.
You fall into a rhythm neither of you talks about. He gets up earlier than you expect — blasts music while brushing his teeth, sings ABBA off-key in the hallway, makes smoothies that look like radioactive goo.
You argue over playlists constantly.
“No. We’re not doing Pitbull at eight in the morning.”
“He’s Mr. Worldwide! It’s inspirational.”
“He’s bald and shouting.”
“That’s showbiz, baby.”
Sometimes, you win. Most of the time, he sneaks Mr. Brightside onto every playlist and pretends he didn’t.
You never thought you'd get used to someone like him. Loud. Playful. Constantly hovering in your peripheral vision. But there's a gentleness under the antics. A sweetness that doesn't beg to be noticed, but you notice anyway.
He drives you to the market without asking. Carries your groceries like it’s a competition. Starts trying to cook again — more confident than competent.
“What’s your favorite dish?” He asks one evening, hunched over his phone like it owes him money.
You answer without thinking. “Cacio e pepe.”
“Easy. I got this.”
He doesn’t got this.
He overcooks the pasta, forgets to salt the water, and ends up Googling “what is pecorino” in a panic.
You walk in on him whispering “don’t clump, don’t clump” at the sauce like it’s sentient.
You bite your lip to keep from laughing. “Need help?”
“Nope. I’m an artist. This is part of the process.”
He serves it with flair. You pretend not to notice the texture is more glue than cheese.
Still, you eat it. He watches your face the whole time, pretending not to. When you finish the plate, he beams like he’s won a Michelin star.
^**
The rain starts on a Tuesday.
You wake to gray skies and the soft percussion of drops against the villa’s roof. You think it’ll pass. It doesn’t.
By mid-afternoon, you’re both restless.
“I have to move,” you say, pacing in the living room. “I need to do something.”
Lando sprawls across the rug like a teenage boy at a sleepover. “Let’s play Mario Kart.”
“That’s not productive.”
“You’re literally vibrating with stress. Sit down. You need to get your ass kicked by Princess Peach.”
You do not get your ass kicked. You annihilate him.
“This game is rigged,” he whines as your kart zips past his. “You’re cheating.”
“I'm just better.”
“You're heartless. Cruel. Unfairly good at drifting.”
“You sound like a man who’s losing.”
He groans, flops over, and covers his face with a throw pillow. “I hate fish.”
You blink. “What?”
“Just thought I’d change the subject.”
You snort. “Okay. Why?”
“They smell weird. They look weird. Their eyes freak me out.”
“Do you think fish can understand us?”
He lifts the pillow slightly. “Are we high right now?”
“No, I’m serious. What if they know we’re watching them?”
“Then I owe a lot of apologies to some sushi.”
You laugh. A real one. Not the polite chuckle you use in meetings, not the rehearsed smile for courtroom civility. This one hits your ribs.
He sits up. Watches you. Doesn’t say anything for a moment.
“What?” You ask.
“Nothing,” he says. “Just … you’re different when you laugh like that.”
You glance away. “Like what?”
“Like you forgot something was weighing on you.”
His voice is soft now. Uncharacteristically so. You don’t respond right away. Just look out the window, rain sliding down the glass in long, lazy streaks.
After a while, you say, “I don’t know what I’m doing.”
He looks over.
“I mean, with my life,” you continue. “I was going so fast, for so long, and now I’ve stopped and I don’t … know what’s left.”
You stare at your hands. You hate how raw that sounds. How uncertain.
He doesn’t jump in. Doesn’t make a joke. Doesn’t try to fix it.
Just sits beside you. Quiet.
“I used to think being successful would feel better than this,” you say. “But I don’t even remember who I was before I started chasing things I don’t even know if I wanted.”
“Do you wanna go back?” He asks.
“No. But I don’t know how to go forward, either.”
He nods. Not like he understands completely — but like he’s trying to. Like he’s holding space for you, instead of advice.
“I don’t have answers,” he says eventually. “But I’m really good at distractions.”
You smile faintly. “Clearly.”
“I mean, c’mon. My carbonara almost killed you.”
“It did. I wrote a will after.”
“Harsh.”
“Truthful.”
He grins, and you feel lighter. A little.
***
That night, the rain intensifies.
You can’t sleep. Not because of the storm, but because something inside you is too noisy. Like your mind won’t stop pacing the room.
You wander out into the hallway, barefoot and restless, planning to make tea.
You don’t expect to see the front door open.
Or the rain soaking the floor tiles just past the entry.
Or him — barefoot, shirt clinging to him, hair dripping, crouched on the porch with his hands around a toppled plant.
You step outside. The rain is warm. Immediate. Your hoodie clings to your skin.
“Are you serious?” You call.
He looks up. His smile is sheepish, wide. “It fell over. I didn’t want it to drown.”
“In the middle of a storm?”
“Poor guy didn’t ask for this.”
You stare at him. His knees are muddy. There’s a leaf in his hair. He’s cradling the ceramic pot like it’s a kitten.
“You’re ridiculous.”
“Guilty.”
“But also kind of … sweet.”
He looks at you.
You’re not sure what’s shifted. Maybe it’s the rain. The hour. The silence between the two of you that’s no longer awkward.
You’re suddenly aware of how close he is. How sincere his face becomes when he thinks you’re not looking.
He stands slowly. Water drips down his neck.
You say, “You didn’t have to do that.”
“I know.”
You say, “You’re soaked.”
“So are you.”
And there it is — that moment. Hanging. Taut.
Not quite a kiss. Not yet.
But the kind of stillness that precedes something inevitable.
He tucks a wet strand of hair behind your ear. Doesn’t touch anything else.
His fingers are cold. His eyes are impossibly warm.
You shiver.
He notices. “Come on. Let’s not catch pneumonia.”
You nod. Follow him inside. Neither of you says much as you dry off.
But something’s different now.
And you both feel it.
Like you’ve stepped into something bigger than a holiday detour.
Something that might last.
***
You don’t expect him to ask.
You’re elbow-deep in a bowl of popcorn, half-watching some Spanish cooking show neither of you understands, when he says it — casual, like it’s nothing.
“You should come to Monaco next weekend.”
You blink. “What?”
“To the race. I’ll give you the VIP treatment.”
You raise an eyebrow. “What does that even mean?”
“It means you get a lanyard. And free food. And I pretend to be cooler than I actually am.”
“So, your regular weekend?”
He smirks. “Exactly.”
You scoff. “I’m not going to be some … grid girl.”
His grin falters. Just a little. “It’s not like that.”
“Lando.”
“You’d be my guest.”
“That’s worse.”
He turns toward you on the couch, legs folded under him like a golden retriever mid-persuasion. “Come on. It’s glamorous. There’s champagne. Helicopters. You love judging rich people.”
“That part is tempting.”
“I’ll let you wear one of my team shirts.”
“Still not sold.”
“I’ll bribe you with food.”
“Try again.”
“I’ll-” He pauses, thinks hard, then lights up. “-I’ll serenade you. Publicly. At the paddock.”
“You wouldn’t.”
“I would. Off-key. Acapella. I’ll make the engineers cry.”
You roll your eyes, but you’re smiling.
He leans closer, dramatic whisper: “Come on. I’ll look lonely if you’re not there.”
“You’ll be surrounded by people.”
“Yeah, but none of them steal my fries and insult my music taste.”
You try not to let the warmth bloom too fast. “That’s your best argument?”
He lifts his hands. “That’s all I got.”
You shake your head. “Fine.”
He blinks. “Wait, seriously?”
You sigh. “Yes. Before I change my mind.”
He fist pumps the air. “YES. I mean — cool. Chill. No big deal.”
You snort. “You’re such a loser.”
“Your loser.”
You ignore the way your chest does a weird little flutter.
***
You regret saying yes almost immediately.
Not because you don’t want to go — but because it’s a lot.
The paddock is chaos. Noise. Cameras. Sunglasses on everyone, like they’re all pretending it’s not just overcast. You can feel eyes on you from the second you step out of the car.
Lando’s bouncing on the balls of his feet beside you, grinning like he owns the place. Which, in a way, he kind of does.
“You okay?” He asks.
You nod, a bit dazed. “You weren’t kidding about the VIP treatment.”
“Would I ever lie?”
“Yes.”
“Fair.”
He hands you a pass. “Here. This is your all-access badge. Makes you important.”
“Is it laminated?”
“Of course it’s laminated. We’re not animals.”
You laugh. He smiles like that was his whole goal.
People greet him constantly — engineers, press, fans. He throws a casual arm around your shoulder more than once, guiding you through the crowd.
You notice it after the third introduction: no one asks who you are. They all assume.
“Oh, so this is your-”
“Hey, you finally brought her!”
“Lando’s girl, right?”
You start correcting people. At first.
“Oh no, we’re just-”
“Not together, actually.”
“Just friends.”
But he never jumps in. Never clarifies. Just smiles, tugs you along, calls you mate in that annoyingly endearing way.
At some point, you stop correcting anyone. You tell yourself it’s just easier that way.
You’re lying.
***
You meet Oscar by the snack table.
He’s polite, a little dry, surprisingly funny. You’re mid-laugh when Lando shows up, scooter wheels screeching dramatically.
“Hey,” he says, too loud. “What’s going on here?”
Oscar raises an eyebrow. “Just talking.”
“Looked like flirting from over there.”
Oscar blinks. “I was complimenting her trainers.”
Lando squints. “They’re mine.”
“Ah.” Oscar smiles. “Well, you’ve got good taste.”
You can feel the tension radiating off Lando like heat from asphalt.
“Oscar was just telling me about the simulator,” you say, steering the conversation.
Lando crosses his arms. “Yeah? I’m faster than him in it.”
“By two-tenths,” Oscar says mildly.
“Still counts.”
You glance between them. “Are you … racing right now?”
Oscar shrugs. “Always.”
Lando tries to lean casually against a tire stack. Misses. Nearly faceplants into a crate of water bottles.
You wince. “You okay?”
“I’m fine,” he grumbles, hopping back up.
Oscar’s expression is unreadable.
You bite your lip. “Should I, uh, go find my seat?”
Oscar nods. “Probably safer over there.”
You follow Lando as he storms off, silent. His curls are a mess. His ears are red.
When you finally stop near the garage, you say, “What was that?”
“What?”
“You nearly crashed your scooter trying to interrupt a conversation.”
“He was flirting with you.”
“No, he wasn’t.”
“He was definitely flirting with you.”
“And if he was?”
Lando blinks. “I-”
You tilt your head. “Lando.”
“I didn’t like it.”
You cross your arms. “Why not?”
He stares at the ground. Rubs the back of his neck. Looks nothing like the confident, camera-ready version of himself from earlier.
Finally, he says, quietly, “I just really like you.”
You freeze.
“I know I’m not your type,” he adds quickly. “And I know you’re probably just being nice to me because I make dumb jokes and cook badly and follow you around like a puppy-”
“Lando-”
“-but I’d try, you know? To be whatever it is you’re looking for. Even if I’m not it.”
The words hang between you. Raw. Honest. Vulnerable in a way you haven’t seen from him before.
You laugh. Just a little. Not because it’s funny, but because it’s too much.
He looks crushed.
“Sorry,” you say quickly. “That wasn’t — I’m not laughing at you. I’m just … overwhelmed.”
His mouth twitches like he’s trying to smile through it.
You reach for his arm. “You don’t have to be anything else. You’re already …”
You stop. Your heart fills in the blank your brain can’t say.
You’re already it.
***
Back in the garage, you watch him from a distance. He’s talking to his engineers, gesturing wildly, helmet tucked under one arm.
He doesn’t glance your way.
For once, you’re the one staring.
Something’s shifted again. The line you’ve been walking is gone. Or maybe it was never there to begin with.
Maybe this thing — whatever it is — isn’t waiting to be defined.
Maybe it’s just becoming.
***
It starts with a subject line you don’t want to read.
RE: Return to Work Policy Update.
You’re sitting cross-legged on the villa’s sun-warmed patio, coffee cold beside you, when the email comes through. You stare at it for a full minute before opening it.
Then you read it. Reread it. And again.
By the time the words actually register, your throat is dry.
They want you back.
In the office. Full-time. Effective immediately.
No room for extension. No regard for the months of burnout, the time zone, the soft, tender recovery you’ve only just begun to trust.
The deadline sits there, bold and final: next Friday.
If you don’t return, they’ll consider it a resignation.
Your hands tremble. Not dramatically. Just enough to spill a little coffee when you try to pick up the mug.
You wipe it away with your sleeve. Then you close the laptop slowly, gently, like maybe that’ll keep the contents from being real.
***
Lando doesn’t notice at first.
You’re good at hiding. You always have been.
He bounds into the kitchen mid-morning, wearing swim trunks and no shirt, hair wet from the sea. “I made toast!” He announces proudly. “It’s only slightly burnt. Also, I may have used all the butter.”
You smile. Or something close to it.
He pauses. “Hey. You okay?”
“Yeah. Just tired.”
“You wanna go for a swim?”
“Not right now.”
He watches you for a second longer than normal.
Then shrugs. “I’ll save you a good floaty.”
You nod.
But later, you don’t join him. You stay inside. You open a suitcase you haven’t touched in weeks. You fold slowly, carefully. As if touching your things too fast might make it all feel too real.
***
The villa shifts.
There’s a silence between you that hasn’t been there before. Not sharp, just … echoey.
You stop making jokes. Stop dancing in the kitchen. Stop stealing his hoodies and pretending not to.
Lando notices.
And he spirals.
First, he overcompensates — louder jokes, bolder breakfasts, compliments that sound like YouTube comments.
“You’re glowing today. Like, solar flare-level.”
“Okay.”
“That hoodie’s working overtime. Is that a new shade of existential dread?”
You manage a weak laugh. It makes him look relieved. Which only makes you feel worse.
Because none of this is his fault.
He doesn’t know.
You don’t tell him.
***
Wednesday, he plans the party.
He does it in secret. Sort of.
Oscar is in on it. So is Carlos — over FaceTime, mostly to say things like “Do not set anything on fire” and “Are you using actual TNT?”
Lando doesn’t care about the logistics. He just wants to make you smile.
“She’s leaving, I think,” he mutters, digging through drawers for balloons. “She hasn’t said it, but … I can tell.”
Oscar looks at him, concerned. “Did something happen?”
“Not exactly.” Lando shrugs. “I think I broke it.”
“You?”
“She’s … retreating. Like, emotionally. It’s like she’s packing her heart before her suitcase.”
Oscar frowns. “That’s poetic. Are you okay?”
Lando ignores the question. “I just want her to know she matters here. That this mattered. That I’ll-” He stops. Runs a hand through his curls. “-that I’ll miss her. So fucking much.”
***
The party is terrible.
Confetti ends up in the punch. The playlist is just ABBA and Martin Garrix on loop. Oscar bails halfway through. Carlos texts I warned you.
But the real problem is this.
You don’t show up.
Lando waits. He checks his phone. Checks the garden. The pool. The kitchen.
Nothing.
Eventually, he wanders outside. Something tells him to check the back.
That’s where he finds you.
Curled into yourself on a bench beneath the lemon tree, head bowed, fingers twisted in the hem of your shirt. Shoulders shaking.
He stops mid-step. Heart hammering.
“Hey.”
You flinch, barely.
He walks slowly, like he’s afraid you might vanish if he moves too fast.
“What’s wrong?” He asks gently.
You shake your head.
“I thought you were mad at me,” he admits. “But you’re-”
“I’m leaving,” you say suddenly, voice hoarse. “Next Friday. If I don’t go back, they’ll fire me.”
He blinks. “Oh.”
“I didn’t know how to tell you.”
Lando sits beside you. Not close enough to touch. Just near.
You bury your face in your hands.
“I don’t want to go,” you whisper. “But I don’t know how to stay, either.”
And just like that, the dam breaks. The tears come fast, messy, embarrassing in their intensity.
You expect him to panic. To joke. To offer a stupid, misplaced solution.
He doesn’t.
He just slides closer. Wraps his arms around you.
“I don’t know how to fix this,” he says softly, chin resting on your hair, “but I can sit here until you’re okay.”
You cling to him like he’s a life raft. And maybe he is.
You cry harder.
“I don’t know what I’m doing,” you admit. “I’ve spent years building a life I’m not even sure I want anymore.”
“Then don’t go back to it.”
“I have to.”
“Why?”
“Because I don’t know who I am without it.”
He’s quiet for a long time.
Then, quietly, “I think you’re someone who deserves to choose. And be chosen.”
You pull back slightly. Just enough to look at him.
His eyes are red. Not from tears, just open. Vulnerable.
“Lando,” you whisper.
He leans in.
Slow. Careful. Like he’s waiting for you to stop him.
You don’t.
The kiss is gentle. Reverent. A question more than an answer.
You breathe into it. Let your hand slide to his jaw. Let yourself feel the way he sighs against your mouth, like kissing you is something he’s been holding in for weeks.
When he finally pulls back, he rests his forehead against yours.
“Stay,” he says, barely audible.
You close your eyes.
“I want to.”
“Then we’ll figure it out.”
***
You don’t decide to stay because of Lando.
Not exactly.
You decide to stay because the thought of packing up now — of folding all this softness into a suitcase and shipping it back to a life you’re no longer sure you chose — makes your chest ache in a way that has nothing to do with fear and everything to do with clarity.
Lando doesn’t ask questions. He just finds you that morning in the kitchen, barefoot and bleary-eyed, scribbling a pros and cons list onto the back of an electric bill.
You don’t look up. You just say, “I’m not leaving. Not yet.”
He’s quiet for a second too long, and you glance up — worried he didn’t hear, or worse, that he did.
But then he grins. Huge. Bright. Like someone lit a fire inside him.
“You’re not leaving?”
“No.”
“Like … not leaving leaving?”
“For now.”
“For now,” he echoes, nodding, trying to play it cool. “Right. Yeah. Cool. Chill.”
You sip your coffee.
He bumps your shoulder. “So … does this mean I can keep introducing you as my emotionally exclusive, spiritually bonded non-girlfriend?”
You laugh into your mug. “That’s not a thing.”
“It could be. It sounds deep. Very committed. Like a tax bracket.”
“Just say girlfriend.”
“But we didn’t talk about it.”
“Then talk.”
He straightens, clears his throat dramatically. “Would you do me the honor of being my emotionally exclusive-”
“Lando.”
“Girlfriend. Would you be my girlfriend?”
You give him a long look. “Okay.”
He whoops and spins you around the kitchen before you can change your mind.
***
The days fall into place like dominoes after that.
Not perfect. Just … consistent. Yours.
Mornings start with half-burnt toast and Lando doing pushups in the living room because “I skipped the gym, babe. You want me to be weak?”
You steal his hoodies like it’s your job. He leaves little notes in your shoes like it’s his.
Sometimes, you fight. Over dumb stuff — who used the last clean towel, whether ketchup belongs in the fridge or the pantry, if “driver” is a real career or just a glorified Mario Kart enthusiast.
But the making up is easy.
It always has been, with him.
***
One afternoon, Lando walks into a coffee shop holding your hand and introduces you to the barista.
“This is my girlfriend.”
You blink. He hasn’t used the word out loud yet.
“Well,” he adds quickly, “not officially officially, but like, we’re emotionally exclusive. Spiritually connected. She knows where I keep my socks.”
The barista nods slowly, very confused.
You squeeze his hand. “We’re dating.”
“Oh,” she says, relieved. “Cool.”
Lando turns to you as soon as she walks away. “Was that weird?”
“A little.”
“Did I oversell it?”
“Maybe.”
“But you still like me?”
“Unfortunately.”
He beams. “Sucker.”
***
You record a video of him attempting to fold laundry and accidentally inventing a TikTok dance while pulling a hoodie inside out. It gets 300,000 likes overnight.
He tries to act modest. Fails completely.
“I’m an icon,” he says, scrolling through the comments. ‘Boyfriend energy — see that? That’s me. I am the boyfriend.”
You steal his phone.
“HEY!”
“No more reading comments. You’re unbearable.”
He leans in, eyes wide and innocent. “You knew what you signed up for.”
You did.
You just didn’t know it would feel this good.
***
Carlos calls during dinner one night. You’re sitting outside, feet in Lando’s lap, a half-eaten bowl of pasta between you.
Lando puts the call on speaker.
“Have you both burned down my villa yet?”
“Nope,” Lando says cheerfully. “Just christened all of it.”
You kick him.
Carlos sighs. “I knew letting you stay there was a mistake.”
You grin. “We’ll leave it better than we found it.”
“Good. Because I’m coming back next month.”
Lando chokes on his milk.
Carlos raises an eyebrow — visible even through the pixelation. “What?”
“Nothing. Cool. Chill. Welcome back, mate.”
You lean in. “We’ll be out before then.”
“Where are you going?”
Lando shrugs. “Nowhere far.”
Carlos stares suspiciously, but lets it go.
For now.
***
It happens on a Sunday.
You come home from the market, arms full of fresh herbs and way too many lemons because Lando said “go big or go home,” and walk into absolute chaos.
Smoke. Everywhere.
You freeze in the doorway.
“Lando?”
A pan clatters. “It’s fine!”
You drop the groceries and rush in. He’s waving a dish towel at the smoke detector, eyes watering.
“What did you do?”
“I was trying to make that shrimp thing you like!”
“I told you I was allergic to shellfish!”
He pauses. “Wait, shrimp counts as shellfish?”
You just stare.
“I thought it was like … seafood.”
“It is seafood!”
“So … not fish?”
You blink at him. “That’s your defense?”
He drops the towel. “I’m really bad at this.”
You cross your arms. “I noticed.”
He opens his mouth to keep digging the hole.
You laugh.
It surprises both of you.
“God,” you say, walking over, “you’re a disaster.”
“I tried to impress you!”
“With anaphylaxis?”
“I got confused!”
You wrap your arms around his waist, still laughing.
He exhales, relief flooding through him.
You tilt your head up. “Next time, just buy me a cupcake.”
He grins. “Can do.”
Then he kisses you. Slow, familiar. Like you have nowhere else to be.
And maybe you don’t.
Maybe this is it.
Maybe this mess of smoke and lemons and burnt fish-smelling air is yours.
***
Later, curled up on the couch in one of his shirts, you ask, “So what’s the plan when Carlos comes back?”
Lando taps something on his phone, pretending to be casual. “We … move?”
You raise an eyebrow. “That’s your plan?”
He tosses the phone down and stretches, clearly trying to be nonchalant. “I mean, we can’t actually stay here forever.”
“No,” you admit.
“I’ve been looking at places.”
Your eyes widen. “Seriously?”
“Yeah.” He shrugs, cheeks going pink. “Just, you know. In case we want … options.”
You lean your head against his shoulder. “And do we?”
“I do.”
He presses a kiss to your hair, then grins.
“Hey … do you know any good lawyers?”
You look up. “Why?”
“Because Carlos is definitely going to want his villa back. And I think I need legal counsel before I sign the papers on a new one.”
You laugh. “Are you trying to retain me?”
He grins. “Emotionally. Spiritually. Legally.”
You nudge him playfully. “You’re such a dork.”
“And you love it.”
You do.
And you’re staying.
***
Carlos arrives at the villa just after noon, sun-tanned and dead-eyed, dragging two suitcases and a single, unrelenting hope.
Peace. Quiet. Maybe a cold beer. No one yelling. No team meetings. No cameras.
Just Marbella, his lemon trees, and the blessed sound of absolutely nothing.
He exhales as he unlocks the front gate, breathing in the soft scent of sea salt and sunscreen. It’s good to be home.
Or so he thinks.
Because he hasn’t noticed the massive moving truck parked next door yet.
***
He’s halfway through unpacking — half a beer gone, half a suitcase open — when he hears it.
A crash. Then laughter. Then what sounds like, yep that’s Lando’s voice shouting, “Babe, I think I broke the blender but like … in a hot way?”
Carlos freezes.
“No,” he mutters. “No. No. No.”
He walks stiffly out to the garden wall, cranes his neck — and there, as if summoned by evil spirits and bad karma, is Lando.
Wearing a tank top, holding a screwdriver, grinning like the world is made of sunshine and Monster energy.
“CARLOS!” He yells, delighted. “You’re back!”
Carlos stares, horrified. “Why are you here?”
“Oh, right — funny story!” Lando sets the screwdriver down on what might once have been a blender. “We live here now.”
“You what?”
“Moved in last week.”
Carlos blinks. “Here? As in … next door?”
“Yeah! Isn’t that great?”
Carlos looks like he’s trying to mentally summon a lightning strike. “You bought that place?”
“Well, technically it’s still in escrow,” Lando says, wiping his hands on his shorts. “But spiritually, we’ve already moved in.”
Carlos glares.
Lando grins wider. “Wanna see the kitchen? We painted one of the walls blue by accident but I think it kind of slaps.”
Before Carlos can recover enough to yell, you step out from inside, wearing Lando’s hoodie and holding a glass of orange juice like you own the sun.
You freeze. “Oh.”
He blinks. “You’re here too?”
You smile sheepishly. “Hi, Carlos.”
Lando beams. “We’re neighbors!”
Carlos closes his eyes. “I need another beer.”
“Want one of ours?” Lando offers brightly. “I bought those fancy ones you like. The ones with the weird labels.”
Carlos opens one eye. “Did you drink all the ones in my fridge?”
“No! I have your beer memorized.”
“That’s not better.”
You snort, already laughing.
Carlos stares at the two of you, then sighs. “This was supposed to be my peaceful getaway.”
“We can be peaceful,” you promise.
Lando leans against the garden wall. “Super peaceful.”
A loud crash echoes behind him.
You wince. “What was that?”
Lando blinks. “Oh no. I left the microwave on.”
Carlos groans into his hands. “This is my nightmare.”
“C’mon, it’s us,” Lando says, grinning. “What could go wrong?”
Carlos doesn’t answer. He just walks back into his villa, muttering something about divine punishment.
***
From his kitchen, he can hear you both laughing through the open windows.
And weirdly, it kind of sounds like home.

If you asked anyone — anyone who’d known Lando even half as well as the world thought it did — who his best friend was, the answer came easy, automatic, like muscle memory.
Max Fewtrell.
It was almost too obvious. They’d been inseparable since their karting days — the kind of friendship that was stitched together with inside jokes, shared playlists, matching scars from dumb teenage stunts, and years of standing side by side through wins and wipeouts. They were co-founders of Quadrant, partners in crime both on and off the track, the human embodiment of controlled chaos whenever a Twitch stream went live or an Instagram story popped up. If you ever bet on who knew Lando best — who could read him like a page out of his own life — your money was safe on Max.
But if you asked Lando — really asked him — his answer wouldn’t even take a breath.
“It’s her,” he’d say, soft but steady. Certain.
“It’s always her.”
You.
The girl who had known him before the podiums, before the fame, before the world chanted his name like a stadium-wide heartbeat. The one who saw through the swagger and the quick wit, the one who called him out when his ego got a little too comfortable, and who held him up when the weight of expectation became too much for one pair of shoulders to carry alone. His girlfriend, yes. But more than that. His person. His safe place. His best friend in every sense of the word.
And God, Lando could never seem to shut up about you.
It was an unspoken rule among his circle — one that started as eye-rolls and playful jabs but eventually softened into quiet acceptance. Your name had a habit of slipping into conversations without warning, as if his mind couldn't help but orbit around you even when you weren’t there. His engineers learned to expect it, Max would mock him with exaggerated groans, but none of it ever stopped him.
“Mate, we asked about tire strategy, not your girlfriend,” his race engineer would tease over the radio mid-practice, when his focus momentarily drifted.
And Lando, without missing a beat, would just laugh — the kind of laugh that sounded like pure ease, like home.
“Same thing, really,” he’d reply, grinning under the helmet. “She keeps me grounded. Technically part of the setup.”
On race weekends, it didn’t matter how chaotic the paddock got, how many fans called his name, or how tightly his schedule was packed. His eyes would always search the crowd — cutting through the noise, the flashing cameras, the blur of faces — until they landed on you. Like some unspoken radar tuned to a single frequency.
“There you are,” he’d mumble every single time, pulling you into his arms, cameras be damned. “Took me forever to find you.”
“You walked straight toward me, Lando,” you’d laugh against his chest, your voice the one sound that always, always managed to quiet his racing thoughts.
“Still felt too long,” he’d whisper, pressing his lips to your hair like that simple touch could steady the adrenaline still roaring through his veins.
You weren’t just the girl he loved. You were his favorite adventure. His co-op player. His partner in every messy, beautiful, unfiltered part of his life. Nights were spent tangled together on the couch, feet tucked under each other, controllers in hand, or phones abandoned on the table as you scrolled through old memes, trading soft jokes and lazy kisses. But the best part was always the silence. The ease of it. The kind of quiet that didn’t need filling, because being with you — just being — felt like the world had finally clicked into place.
And when the world outside got too loud — when the weight of expectation grew heavier than a leaden race suit, and headlines tried to script his story before he even had a chance to live it — it was always you he turned to.
“Do you think I’m doing enough?” he asked one night, voice quieter than the hum of the television, exhaustion settling deep into his bones after another long, hard-fought weekend. His head rested on your lap, and your fingers moved through his curls with slow, absent strokes — the kind that said I’m here, without needing the words.
“You’ve always been enough,” you answered, not even hesitating. “Wins don’t make you, Lando. You do.”
And something in his chest softened — like your words had reached places even his own self-belief couldn’t always touch. He looked up at you then, eyes warm, like he was trying to memorize the exact way you said it, the exact way it felt to be loved by you.
“See, this is why you’re my best friend.”
You smirked, playful but sincere. “Oh, I thought it was because I make better toast than Max.”
“That too,” he grinned, and it was the kind of grin that reached his eyes — the real one, the one that didn’t need cameras or podiums. “But mostly because you’re the only person who makes this whole crazy life make sense.”
And you always would.
Because even on the days when the world felt like it was spinning too fast, when the pressure of living under a microscope crept too close, you were there. Not with solutions or speeches — just you. Existing. Holding space for him the way only you could.
You brushed a strand of hair from his forehead, your fingers slow and familiar. “You know,” you murmured, “I don’t think anyone will ever understand you the way I do.”
“I don’t want anyone else to,” Lando replied, quiet but sure. “They’d get it all wrong.”
There was a pause, but the comfortable kind — the kind that wrapped around you both like a blanket, no need for more words. His hand found yours, thumb absentmindedly tracing circles against your skin, the rhythm steady, grounding.
“You’re stuck with me, you know,” you teased, squeezing his fingers gently. “For life.”
His lips quirked, soft and lopsided. “Good,” he whispered. “That’s exactly the plan.”
Race weekends always had a way of making that feeling even stronger — like the noise and the speed and the stakes only sharpened the way Lando looked at you, like the world could be spinning at 300 kilometers an hour and still, his attention would only ever settle on you.
You stood by the garage, tucked slightly out of the way, half-hidden behind a stack of equipment cases as the paddock moved around you in its usual, barely controlled frenzy. Journalists darted between interviews, chasing headlines with mics stretched out like fishing rods. Cameras tracked every flicker of expression on every driver’s face, lenses hungry for a story in a single glance. Engineers, crew members, mechanics — they weaved through the maze of people like clockwork, hands full of telemetry sheets and radios, their minds a million miles away, deep in calculations and split-second decisions.
And then, there was Lando.
The second his eyes found you through the blur of it all — the sponsors, the fans, the pre-race nerves knotted beneath his skin — everything else seemed to fall away. His entire posture shifted, tension melting from his shoulders as that unmistakable, boyish grin pulled at the corners of his mouth. The smile that wasn’t for the cameras, or the sponsors, or the sea of people waiting for autographs — the one that was just for you.
Like clockwork, he jogged toward you, cutting through the paddock like gravity had decided to rewrite the rules, yanking him toward the only place he ever really wanted to be.
“There’s my good luck charm,” he greeted, voice bright but edged with exhaustion and adrenaline — the kind that no amount of coffee or sleep could fully shake before a race. He leaned in, pressing a kiss to your cheek, the contact lingering longer than it probably should have given the dozens of eyes watching, but Lando had never cared much about timing when it came to you.
“You should probably be focusing on the race,” you teased, fingers finding the zipper of his suit, giving it the lightest of tugs, grounding him even as the rest of the world tried to pull him in a hundred different directions.
“I am,” he replied, tilting his head slightly, those warm eyes locking onto yours like they always did. “You’re the best part of it.”
And the way he said it — soft, steady, without even a hint of his usual playful sarcasm — left no room for superstition or charm. Just the truth, plain and simple.
You reached up, brushing your fingers along the edge of his balaclava, adjusting it slightly before your thumb traced the sharp line of his jaw, a familiar and quiet ritual between the two of you — like you were handing him the last piece of calm before the chaos.
“Go win,” you murmured, your voice low but sure. “I’ll be right here.”
“You better be,” he said, stepping backward, reluctant but smiling, his eyes still drinking you in like he could store the moment away for later. His race engineer’s voice crackled over the comms, pulling him back to reality, but even as he turned to go, he glanced back — once, twice — like the distance between you was the only thing that ever felt wrong.
And when he finally climbed into the car, helmet on, gloves tightened, visor down — the world might have narrowed to tire temperatures and corner speeds, but you were still there. A fixed point. The face he’d always find, whether he crossed the finish line first or not.
Later that night, long after the champagne had dried on his race suit and the headlines had already written their version of the day, you and Lando found yourselves right where you always seemed to end up — curled up on the hotel balcony, wrapped up in a blanket you’d stolen from the foot of the bed, legs tangled together like the world didn’t exist beyond that little pocket of quiet.
The city stretched out below you, lights blinking lazily in the distance, but neither of you paid them much attention. His hand rested on your knee, your feet propped comfortably in his lap, his fingers absentmindedly tracing patterns along your ankle — like his body hadn’t quite figured out how to sit still, even if his mind finally had.
For a while, you both just sat there, letting the silence settle. It wasn’t awkward or heavy — just easy. The kind of quiet that only ever existed between two people who didn’t need words to fill the gaps.
But of course, Lando couldn’t resist breaking it.
“You know,” he said eventually, voice light but thoughtful, “it’s kinda ridiculous, isn’t it?”
You turned your head slightly, raising an eyebrow. “What is?”
He let out a soft, amused huff, like the thought had been bouncing around his head for hours. “I spend all day surrounded by thousands of people — cameras, fans, the whole circus — but the second I step out of the car, the only face I ever want to find is yours. Like some lovesick golden retriever.”
You snorted, nudging him with your elbow. “You? A golden retriever? Please. More like a raccoon hyped up on energy drinks.”
He laughed, head tipping back slightly, the sound warm and genuine. “Fair, but still. You’re basically my human GPS at this point. Doesn’t matter how big the crowd is, somehow I always spot you first.”
You tilted your head, playful but sincere. “Maybe I’ve just trained you well.”
“Oh, definitely. Pavlov would be proud.”
You laughed, shaking your head. “Guess that makes two of us, though. I could be anywhere — grandstands, the grid, the middle of a fan mob — and my brain’s only ever tuned into you.”
He grinned at that, the kind of grin that was all soft cheeks and crinkled eyes, and for a second the teasing dropped away, leaving only something honest and quiet between you.
“God, look at us,” he said, nudging your shoulder with his. “Disgustingly sappy.”
“Max would be physically ill if he heard this conversation.”
“Max would disown me,” Lando agreed, lips quirking. “But he already knows I’m screwed when it comes to you. No point in pretending.”
You stretched your legs out, nudging his thigh with your foot. “You’ve been screwed since the moment I stole your fries that one time, haven’t you?”
He chuckled, shaking his head like the memory was still fresh. “That was the moment. I knew I was done for. Anyone who can steal the last fry and not feel guilty? Dangerous.”
You grinned, leaning your head back against his shoulder, your voice soft but full of playful affection. “And you let me do it anyway.”
“Let you?” he scoffed. “I offered. You just didn’t hear me over the sound of your victory.”
You both sat there for a second, wrapped up in that perfect kind of comfort that came from knowing — truly knowing — you belonged exactly where you were.
Then, without looking away from the view, you murmured, “You’re my person, you know.”
He glanced down at you, his hand finding yours under the blanket, fingers lacing through yours with a quiet certainty. “You’re mine too. Always have been.”
You turned your head, catching the soft, lopsided smile on his face — the one that always gave him away no matter how hard he tried to act cool. “I hope you know I’m keeping that in writing. You’re not getting rid of me that easily.”
“Good,” he said, pressing a kiss to your temple, his voice lower, softer now. “Because I wouldn’t know how to be me without you.”
You leaned into him, the steady rhythm of his heartbeat under your ear, and let the moment stretch. No flashbulbs. No roaring engines. Just the two of you.
And it hit you all over again, the same simple truth that always seemed to sit quietly at the center of everything: You weren’t just his girlfriend. And he wasn’t just your boyfriend.
You were each other’s person. The constant in the chaos. The soft place to land. And the best part of every single day.
Always.

sorry, chat! ⛐ 𝐋𝐍𝟒
lando has a soft spot for you. (or: the one where lando keeps interrupting his streams for you.)
ꔮ starring: lando norris x girlfriend!reader. ꔮ word count: 0.8k. ꔮ includes: fluff, romance, mention of food. established relationship. ꔮ commentary box: part of my soft spot mini-series! need lando to start paying rent for the space he's taking up in my mind. :-/ 𝐦𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭
It takes Lando’s viewers approximately four months to realize— no, confirm— what they’d all be speculating.
Lando wasn’t really trying to be discreet. He could be private if he wanted to, and the truth of the matter is that he never really had any plans to hide you.
He had groveled at your feet about going public, about hard-launching you at your soonest convenience. Just one Instagram post, he had practically begged. Okay, okay. I’ll settle for a story!
In the end, he conceded to taking things slow. Feeling it out. You had to assure him that you weren’t embarrassed of him, that it was just a matter of wanting to protect your identity for a little longer before the rest of the world began to see you as Lando Norris’ girlfriend.
The mere thought of the title has Lando valiantly holding back a dreamy sigh.
His girlfriend. His girl. What a dream.
When the two of you are eventually found out, you accuse him of orchestrating the whole thing. “How could I have, love,” he whines, his arms wrapping around your waist to keep you from nervously pacing. “I swear, my chat just knows.”
The chat did know, yes, because Lando is obvious. It’s the sort of obvious that’s written in neon lighting across the wall. Bright, glaring, hard to ignore.
It started with the fruit.
“Sorry, chat,” he says during one stream, “gimme a second.”
He mutes his microphone and reaches for something out of frame. When he returns, he’s holding… an orange.
Lando throws the camera a cheeky wink. His hands are deft as they work on peeling the fruit, and he holds a soundless conversation with whoever had requested the help.
The chat goes crazy. Some people are quoting poetry— I love you, I want us both to eat well— but the vast majority are throwing out playful comments about Lando being ‘down bad’.
By the time Lando is back, it’s like the interruption never happened. He goes right back to streaming, addressing none of the questions lighting up the screen.
The next questionable stream happens a couple of weeks later. Lando’s gaze keeps flitting past the camera, past his setup. He throws several rounds of Fortnite and crashes more often than not on iRacing, drawing insults and jeers from his audience.
Usually, Lando would try to defend himself. Tonight, though, he can only smile sheepishly as his viewers relentlessly tease him for being distracted.
His teeth sink into his lower lip, as if he’s fighting back a smirk. “Sorry, chat,” he huffs. “Looks like my luck is shot today. I think it’s best if I log off. Byeee!”
(That’s the last time you work from Lando’s bed while he’s streaming. His gaze is drawn to you like a magnet, and he’s quick to crawl under the sheets to join you. Done so soon?, you ask, your fingers carding through his curls.
He looks at you like you hung the stars and the moon. Mhm, he hums, burying his face in the crook of your neck. Didn’t have much to say.)
If you really, really think about it, the big reveal could actually be pinned on you.
Lando is too enamored to ever blame you for anything. You’re faultless in his eyes, even though he can get a bit petulant with smaller misgivings. Like when you forgot his pre-stream ritual, for instance.
Four kisses.
For good luck. A wordless I love you lots. His driver number. Call it whatever, but it’s ultimately Lando’s excuse to have as much of you that you’ll give.
On The Stream To Beat All Streams, you’d neglected it. He had a set stream time. You cut your shower too close to his start. He’d been unable to delay, logging on to Twitch with his lips tugging into a frown.
He’s half an hour into the stream when your head pops through the door, dressed to the nines for your night out. You’re so pretty that Lando has to hold himself back from ending the broadcast early again.
You mouth an I’m sorry to Lando. He trails off in the middle of answering someone’s question, his slouched back straightening ever so slightly.
This time, he doesn’t even bother informing the stream. He just pushes his chair back, stands, and doubles back to mute when he realizes he missed it the first time.
He still misses it the second time.
The clips don’t lie. They all catch the sound of Lando’s voice going just a pitch higher, like he’s trying to act cuter than he already is.
Comments flood the chat as your soft, amused voice responds something inaudible. The affectionate tilt of your voice is all the confirmation they need. And then Lando’s giggling, and there’s the unmistakable sound of lips smacking.
Not once, not twice, but four times.
The hashtags write themselves. McLaren’s PR manager wakes up to 81 missed calls.
Lando comes back on stream, his mood having done a full 180. It takes him a moment to realize what just went down, and so the oblivious grin on his face— paired with the lipstick mark neither of you noticed, staining the side of his neck— makes the situation all the more interesting.
“Sorry, chat,” Lando chirps. “What did I miss?” ⛐

family anew | lando norris
synopsis: in which you're not used to having a happy family, but Lando changes that for you
a/n: based on this request!
pairing: lando norris x girlfriend!reader
my masterlist

You had never really been one for family gatherings. Not because you didn’t like them, but because, well, you didn’t have the kind that people looked forward to.
Your relationship with your own family had been distant for as long as you could remember. Calls went unanswered, messages ignored, and when you did see them, the conversations were clipped and awkward, as if you were more of a familiar acquaintance than blood.
So when Lando invited you to meet his family, you hesitated.
“They really want to meet you,” he had said, excitement shining in his blue eyes.
He was lying next to you on the couch, fingers lazily playing with yours. “Mum’s already planning what to cook, and I’m pretty sure my sisters are going to bombard you with questions.”
You forced a smile, nodding, but your stomach twisted with unease. Meeting his family meant stepping into something unfamiliar—warmth, closeness, genuine care. It wasn’t something you were used to.
Lando seemed to notice your hesitation because his grip on your hand tightened.
“Hey,” he murmured, voice softer now. “If you don’t want to, you don’t have to.”
“It’s not that I don’t want to,” you admitted, looking down. “I just… I don’t know if I’ll fit in.”
Lando’s brows furrowed in concern.
“What do you mean?”
You hesitated before saying,
“I’m just not used to that kind of family dynamic. My family isn’t exactly close.”
His expression softened even more.
“Then let mine be your family too.”
♡♡♡♡♡
Lando’s childhood home was nothing short of stunning, but it wasn’t the size or the decor that caught your attention—it was the warmth. The second you stepped inside, you were enveloped in it, an energy so foreign yet comforting that it nearly took your breath away.
His mother, Cisca, was the first to greet you, pulling you into a hug before you could even process it.
“It’s so lovely to finally meet you!” she exclaimed, squeezing you tightly. “Lando never stops talking about you.”
Your cheeks flushed, and you laughed softly, casting a glance at Lando, who merely grinned.
“It’s really nice to meet you too.”
His sisters, Flo and Cisca, were next, their enthusiasm making your nerves both spike and settle at the same time.
“So you’re the one stealing all of Lando’s attention,” Flo teased, elbowing him.
Cisca grinned. “Finally! Someone to keep him in check.”
Lando rolled his eyes, muttering, “Oh God, here we go.”
You expected to feel out of place. Instead, you found yourself laughing, being pulled into conversations, and feeling something you couldn’t quite name.
Belonging.
♡♡♡♡♡
Dinner was a lively affair. The table was filled with home-cooked food, and the conversation flowed with ease. Lando’s family wasn’t just close—they genuinely enjoyed each other’s company. They told stories, teased one another, and included you in every bit of it.
“Lando was the clumsiest kid,” his mother was saying, eyes alight with amusement. “I swear, he ran into walls more times than I can count.”
“Mum,” Lando groaned, covering his face as his sisters burst into laughter.
Cisca grinned.
“Oh, don’t act embarrassed. You haven’t changed that much.”
You giggled, nudging him.
“That explains a lot, actually.”
Lando shot you a betrayed look, but you could see the happiness in his eyes. He wanted you to be part of this.
You wanted that too.
After dinner, you helped clear the table despite Cisca’s protests that you were a guest. Lando watched you from the doorway, a small smile playing on his lips as you chatted with his sisters while washing dishes.
“You fit right in,” he whispered later when he pulled you aside.
You wanted to believe that.
♡♡♡♡♡
Later that night, you found yourself in the living room, sitting beside Lando’s mother while she flipped through old photo albums. The stories she told filled in gaps you hadn’t realized existed, painting a picture of a childhood so vastly different from your own.
There were birthday parties filled with laughter, summer vacations spent together, Christmas mornings where the entire family piled onto the couch in matching pajamas.
Your fingers grazed a photo of Lando as a child, grinning wildly with a missing front tooth. He looked so happy.
“You didn’t grow up like this, did you?” Cisca asked gently, as if she already knew the answer.
You swallowed. “No.”
She reached over, squeezing your hand.
“Families aren’t just the ones we’re born into. Sometimes, we find them in places we least expect.”
Your eyes stung. No one had ever told you that before.
♡♡♡♡♡
It wasn’t until later that night that Lando found you outside on the patio, staring up at the sky, deep in thought. He wrapped his arms around you from behind, resting his chin on your shoulder.
“Alright, what’s going on in that pretty head of yours?”
You sighed, leaning into his warmth.
“I just… It’s so different from what I’m used to. Your family, they love each other so much. It’s… It’s amazing.”
He turned you around gently so you were facing him.
“And that’s a good thing, right?”
“Yeah,” you admitted, voice quiet. “It’s just hard to accept that kind of love when you’ve never had it.”
Lando cupped your face, his thumbs brushing against your cheeks.
“You deserve it. Every bit of it.”
Your throat tightened. “But what if I don’t fit in?”
He shook his head. “You already do. My mum loves you, my sisters adore you, and I—” He hesitated for a moment before smiling softly. “I love you.”
Your heart stilled. “You do?”
“I do.” His voice was steady, sure. “And love isn’t something you have to earn, alright? It’s given. Freely. You don’t have to be used to it—you just have to let yourself feel it.”
Tears burned the back of your eyes, but for the first time in a long time, they weren’t from sadness. They were from something lighter, something warmer.
Maybe love wasn’t something you had to be afraid of.
Maybe, just maybe, home wasn’t a place.
Maybe home was a person.
And maybe, just maybe, your home had curly hair, blue eyes, and a heart big enough to hold all the love you had been missing.
comments and re-blogs help us grow!
much appreciated!!

notti's nightly thoughts (18+)
an: college dirtbag!lando and fisting. i mean, have you seen those hands lando has? jesus fuck, man.
"lando." you breathed as your hair flowed messily on the pillow below you, whilst your hazy eyes met his own. "fuck, i can't take anymore, lando," you groaned, skin prickling with burning arousal surging through your veins.
lando smirked, thrusting two fingers slowly into your dripping cunt, soaked from the umpteenth time of you coming on them. "shh, baby," he mumbled, kissing your temple from above, curling his fingers to the place that made you see stars, "you can take another finger, i know you can."
you gasped as his fingers stretched out your folds, the air being sucked from your lungs as your thighs trembled with increasing anticipation. "more," you whispered, eyes pleading as you met his devilish gaze and wolfish grin again, "i can take more. please. another finger," you groaned, head tilting back, as your hips pushed upwards, back arching off of the mattress.
lando smirked again as he slipped a third finger inside, feeling how your walls clenched him so snugly. you moaned, chest heaving as his fingers continued to curl inside your wet heat ever so meticulously and with ease.
"good girl, baby," he purred into your ear, large fingers continuing to curl and thrust into you. "such a good girl, taking my fingers like this," lando mumbled, pressing another kiss to your slick temple, "do you want more?"
you whimpered, a rush of heat surging up your spine. nodding, you whined, "more, lando, please", as your hips started to roll. "need more," you croaked, as a stark flush painted across your plush cheeks and your glimmering doey eyes stayed focused on lando's torturous smug grin, obviously revelling in the way you loved how he stretched you out.
his large fingers continued to delve in and out of your cunt, smearing your slick over your folds as extra lubrication. you gasped out loud again as he teased his fourth finger at your entrance, stifling down a moan by biting your bottom lip sheepishly.
"let me hear you," lando coaxed, slipping the fourth digit into your hole ever so easily. "wanna hear you fall apart on my hand, baby," he murmured, lips now dangerously close to your own as he pressed down gently just in time to let a loud moan die in his mouth whilst curling his fingers deeper inside of you.
tears of pleasure brimmed in your eyes as the coil in your lower belly tightened, whilst the fire surged uncontrollably as his lips left your own. your legs shook even more, gasps and moans escaping your lips ever so freely whilst he now teased his pinky at your hole, trembling with the inevitable release that lando's fingers were coaxing you into.
"you want the last finger, baby?" he asked, murmuring into your ear hotly as he pumped his other 4 digits in and out of your pussy, the noises of your slick becoming obscene as your juices painted your inner thighs. "tell me you want the last finger," he added, teasing his pinky up and down your dripping slit.
"please, i need it," you gasped, body tensing with pleasure as your chest heaved erratically, hips thrusting even more towards his hand inside you as your back arched even more, body overwhelmed by the pleasure. "give me more, lando," you begged, lip quivering as you swallowed hard, stifling another sharp gasp that hissed through your teeth.
lando hummed contently, slowly inserting the final finger into your dripping cunt. you cried out as his fingers curled slowly, trying not to irritate or harm your insides. your hands clawed the bedsheets below you, your breathing erratic and lando's movements became slower and more controlled, curling to just the right spot to optimise your pleasure.
"f-fuck, feels so good," you breathed, nipples perked as your blood pumped hotly around your body. your thighs came to tremor uncontrollably as you slowly but hastily reached the climax you were craving. lando continued to thrust his fist in your cunt, causing you to scream out loud in pleasure.
"that's it, let them hear you," lando mumbled against your temple ever so deeply, hitting the perfect spot that made your whole body tense with overwhelming intensity. "let them know how good my fingers make you feel, baby."
thrusting one more time, the tightening coil inside your stomach snapped as your orgasm ripped through you. "let go for me, baby," he coaxed, as you arched your back, clawing tightly at the sheets below you, you cried out in pleasure, body tight as your walls fluttered around lando's hand, clenching around all 5 digits inside your cunt.
your juices coated his fingers fully, as you rode out your high, gasping for air as your pupils were blown out wide not only from your high, but from the amazement that lando was able to fist you with such ease. your cheeks burnt from the boiling blood now pumping steadily and normally around your body as lando removed his hand ever so slowly, trying not to agitate your body, or worse, harm your pussy.
"holy shit," you breathed, still in utter ecstasy and shock. "that felt so fucking good, lan," you added, chest now rising softly, as lando scooped you up into his arms, resting your head against his bare chest, whilst his back rested against the bedframe.
"yeah? well, you did amazing, beautiful," he mumbled into the top of your head, pressing a loving kiss into your dishevelled hair. looking up at lando with a loving smile, his lips curled into a knowing smirk, before he chuckled devilishly, "ready for round two? this time i'm gonna make you squirt all over the sheets." <3

Maple Cream Pie with a Tonic Water, a Naked & Famous and a Hard Lemonade.
Please, for Lando Norris.
bakery menu!
thank you for submitting an order! i love getting them and have been trying my best to get through all of them! as for this one, thank you for the submission. i love what you ordered and i hope that you enjoy the fic! i messed around with the ages a bit since lando is only 24 (fuckin' baby), so i slowly inserted it into the team principal au where it does made the age gap a lil bigger! (i hope you dont mind)
maple cream pie ("either you wear the necklace with my name on it, or wear my bruises around your neck.") + tonic water (age gap) + naked & famous (bimbo/ditzy!reader) + hard lemonade (possessive behaviour)
cw: smut/pwp, team principal au, age gap (20s/40s), possessive behavior, reference to sugar daddy, bimbo!reader, mean!lando, innocent!reader, missionary position, dirty talk
lando didn't like sharing his toys. and now at almost forty he didn't like sharing the little thing he called his girlfriend. at his age, he shouldn't be chasing after women who barely held down a full-time job in their whole life. he should be settled down with a wife and some kids, at least that was what oscar told him. (damn bastard had been married for ten years with three kids now), instead lando chased young tail like he chased trophies.
except instead of a racer he was the team principal of mclaren. maybe it was the chip on his shoulder that year after year throughout his racing career, he barely missed the wdc. now as principal he could make sure that his drivers did better than he did. maybe it was to relive his youth, the way having you on his arm made him feel in his twenties again.
your smile could warm a brick of ice. especially when you tried to cover your mouth when you got shy. you stood out in the paddock, you were dressed so sweetly. while most were in branded with the mclaren logo. you were in a pretty sundress. it was an olive green colour with off white flowers printed on it.
lando saw you playfully slap his driver on the shoulder before you giggled. it made him get up from his desk and take off his headphones. he clenched his fists before he draped an arm around your shoulders. he smiled at his driver as you got pushed against his chest.
"what are you doing, sweetheart? shouldn't you be with the other girls? this is the boy's area." he said, as if there weren't more women in formula one since he raced.
you looked to your lover and giggled, "well, i wanted to see the action! and he was filling me in with what was going on."
he looked at his driver, the younger man wanted to fill you with something that was for sure. didn't help that the dress showed more of your breasts than he usually liked. lando looked to the other man and said, "i think it's time to get in the car soon. big day today."
the driver nodded, wanting to impress his boss. lando felt a swell of pride at his ability to scare off the younger man without much effort. his attention was taken back to you as you held onto the front of his shirt.
"meanie."
"meanie, huh?" lando laughed a little, "i'm not a meanie, sweetheart."
you nodded. you were so dumb it was cute, it was like a kitten that hadn't grown their teeth. you nipped rather than bit. you needed to be protected, sheltered. and the new mclaren driver was getting too close.
lando dropped his hand to your ass and gave it a firm squeeze, "right, right. because a meanie would buy his beloved girl anything she asked for. or make sure she was comfortable on every trip. all paid for, but i'm the real meanie right."
you dropped your shoulders a little, "you're not a meanie, landy."
he smiled and kissed you on the top of the head, "thank you, babe. now why don't you go see the others. race is gonna start soon." then gave your ass a pat before you left.
-
it would be a few nights later in your shared home. lando would meet you in the bedroom with a box. it wasn't an engagement ring. but something else. when you opened it, his eyes lingered on you.
"what is it?" you asked.
he smiled, "just open it. i promise it won't bite." then sat on the edge of the bed as you carefully opened the box. his eyes lingered on your breasts in the thin tank top you wore to bed.
inside the box was a gold necklace. a thin chain with his name on it, "lando". you picked it up from the box and admired it. you looked up at him and he kept his smile.
"either you wear the necklace with my name on it, or wear my bruises around your neck." his tone was dark, but his smile was like the sun, "i have to make sure that no one gets the wrong idea. i don't like sharing, babe. i'm greedy."
you nodded. so soft under his touch. you only wanted to make lando happy, be his special girl. you said to him, "you know i'd never cheat."
lando took your face in his hands and pulled you in for a heated kiss, "i know. it's not you i have the issue with. it's other men. the most dangerous thing on the planet is a man. and i need you safe. protected." before he got on top of you, to savour his girl, he put the necklace on you. he said, "there, that's perfect." he then cupped your breasts before he licked his lips, "it's improved your whole look."
you yelped as he got you onto your back and his hands on the waistband of the panties you were going to sleep in. you could feel his hungry gaze on you.
"such a little dummy." he chuckled as he yanked the panties down, "the prettiest thing i own." something curled in your stomach. a much older man with a lot of power at his disposal, yearning for something to pretty to fuck.
you practically wore a collar with his name on it so in case you got lost, someone would find you and bring you back to him. it was cute. with your soft lips and the roundness to your face. you looked like a painting on a chapel ceiling. an angel that lando got to pluck the wings off almost every evening.
your body responded to him well as he pushed the tank top off of you, revealing your stomach and eventually your breasts. lando realized that he liked women with a little softness to them. models were pretty, but you were beyond pretty. you curves as soft as your personality. a little dumb for him, nothing in that little head of yours. it was cute. that was why lando was so protective (possessive) of you.
once you were naked, you laid out on the bed. the soft bed that you slept in almost every night. lando got on top of you and eyed your naked form. stripped of everything except for the necklace. it was cute. maybe lando would break his promise and bruise up your pretty throat with his bites.
he got undressed and got between your legs with your knees bent. he even grabbed one of the pillows to elevate your hips for him. to get at the right angle.
"you're mine, right?" he said, "no one else's?"
you nodded, "of course, landy. i'm yours!" your voice was a little higher, sweeter for him. and it made something curl in his gut. you were so innocent, sweet in a way.
"that's what i like to hear, baby. you're such a good girl for me. letting me have a taste of you as often as i can. that's why i have to make sure you don't go running off. you're one in a million and i can't take a chance like that. losing something to sweet. it would be criminal."
his voice was tinged with possessiveness. and when he sank into you and started with a quick pace, you yelped and clung onto him tightly. your back arched a little at the feeling of his cock inside of your slick pussy. even though you were soaked between your legs, the intrusion was still a lot for you.
"you are so pretty on my cock. this is where you belong. letting me fuck you until you get your fill. you're a greedy little thing, aren't you? i'm pretty sure i could throw you to the mclaren team and it wouldn't be enough for you. put you in a little bikini and a sign in your ass saying that you're free use. first come, first serve. and let them all have their way with you." his pace quickened as his cock felt like it was going to bruise your insides.
you whimpered and arched your back. your hands found the pillow under your head as he fucked you heavily. he panted heavily, paired with your loud moans. you were always so loud, lando one time had to gag you with your panties when he fucked you in his office. in fairness, maybe he could slow down the pace. but where was the fun in that?
lando continued, he was a man on a mission. determined in a way that made heat rise in his gut. you looked so good on your back, under him. the steady rise and fall of your chest. your sweet moans and heavy pants. how you clung to the pillow with your pretty nails. lando made your lifestyle possible, the best you could do was reward him with your pussy. a thank you for all the hard work he does.
"please, ah!" you whimpered as you arched your back a little more. you felt the heat in your gut. your cunt felt like a dream around his cock. your toes curled from the sensation. "please, please, ah! lando!"
"so pretty." he said as he continued to thrust into you. his pace was aggressive, almost bruising. he watched you squirm a little as your noises got louder and tighter.
"i'm cumming!" you whined as you felt climax crash over you. you tensed up for a moment, which made lando see stars, before you relaxed with a heavy exhale.
"fuck." he panted as he continued to ram into you. the sounds of your fucking filled the room paired with your soft, post-orgasmic moans. he watched you kick out your legs a little. all the fight left your body. he finished inside of you soon after with a loud groan, his cock shoved as deep as it could go.
he knew it was a risky game with unprotected sex. but, just like everything else. lando would take care of it if anything went wrong. he admired your blissed out features. in your own little dumb world as the after shocks of pleasure coursed through you.
"perfect." hes aid softly before he pulled out.
you laid out next to him on the bed as you tried to catch your breath. lando took you gently by the chain you wore, the necklace he bought you. and you laid up next to him. curled up at his side.
lando rubbed the side of your head lovingly as he chuckled a little bit. "this is how i like you, sweetheart. all curled up next to me." he got your leg over his thigh and held it as he kissed at your face.
maybe next time he'll take some photos of his precious girl in nothing, but your little necklace. maybe sharing those around the paddock will keep those men away from you. <3

kiss you soon

pairing: lando norris x fem!reader
word count: 1.7k
prompt: ❛ if you’re tired of kissing me, i’d better go. ❜
summary: three times where lando can’t get enough of you.
masterlist || be my valentine blurb event 💌

the first time.
“Just one more, darling.” Lando bats his eyelashes from where he sits in his makeup chair, with you lounging on a plush couch nearby. He’s filming an interview with Hilton today, so he got some touch ups from a makeup artist. His eyes glance at the door every so often to make sure she won’t be here to scold him for messing anything up. “Come on, please?”
You stand up, granting his wishes by kissing him gently. His fingertips brush your cheek as he deepens the kiss, clearly craving more than just a peck.
He smirks when he pulls away to look in the mirror, checking out the gloss on your lips that has transferred onto his. The crew on set will surely put two and two together. “Look at that baby, you made me pretty for TV.”
You giggle, pinching his cheek. “You need no help with that.”
Lando shrugs. “Maybe not. At least it will send a message, though.”
“You want all of your fans to know that you were making out with someone before the shoot?”
“Yes, it will put those nasty Norizz rumors to rest, and maybe the camera guy who’s been eyeing you since we got here will take a fucking hint.” Lando gives you his signature cheeky grin as his eyes roam your features lovingly. “Not that I can blame him.”
Heat creeps up your cheeks, and for that, you peck his lips one last time. “No more flattery, you’re on the job. That sweet talk won’t get you very far right now.”
“It’s gotten me far enough.” He muses cockily, laughing as you take a throw pillow from the couch and aim it for his head.
A few knocks sound on the door and the production assistant tells him that Max and the crew are waiting for him in the next room. Lando gets up, but not without blowing you a kiss through the air first.
You pretend to catch it, blowing one back to him. “Go get ‘em.”
“I’ll try!” Lando shouts, making his way to the nearby room where the interview is being filmed with his best friend.
Upon finally seeing Lando arrive on set, Max stands up from his own chair that reads ‘TALENT’ on the back of it. “It took you long enough! What was the hold up?”
Lando doesn’t respond verbally; the grin that spreads across his face is better at revealing what exactly he’s been up to this time. “Oh, right.” Max acknowledges, remembering that you’ve been with Lando in his dressing room all morning. “Does that explain why your lips are so shiny then? They didn’t do that to my lips.”
Lando laughs when he notices the candid moment between them is being captured by a camera, coincidentally being filmed by the same guy that he knows has the hots for you. “Apparently there’s a kissing scene in this. Y/n and I were just practicing.”
Max pretends to gag, shaking his head in faux disgust. “Alright then, I’m leaving.”
Lando turns to the camera man who looks almost stunned at the confession. So much for his PR training, it’s gone out the window by now. Months have gone by since he was last inside a Formula 1 paddock and it didn’t take long to wear off at all. “Make sure to keep that in the final cut, okay?”
–
the second time.
“You’re tense, honey.” Lando murmurs while his hands massage your shoulders as gently as they can.
“Tell me about it. I think I slept wrong.” You wince but lean into his touch, telling him to massage harder because it hurts so good.
“Or you’ve just been stressed out lately? Trying to be everything to everyone without taking care of yourself.” Lando suggests as if it’s obvious. There’s nothing he’s more attuned to than your well being, he’s always quick to notice anything that might be going on with you. It’s truly a blessing and a curse.
“Thank you, Dr. Norris, but I just have a lot on my plate right now. It’ll pass.”
“But I can’t just sit back and let you forget about yourself in the process.” Lando adds, planting a kiss to your exposed neck. “You deserve to relax, it just so happens that I can help with that.”
Your fingers run through his curls, letting your eyes flutter shut as he focuses more on leaving trails of kisses on your skin and less on massaging the tension from your muscles. “I think I need one of your yoga classes. Remember when we did yoga on the beach in Miami?”
“How could I forget? Stretching you out happens to be my favorite pastime.”
You gasp, smacking at his hand lightly. “Lando!”
“What? I meant stretching you out for yoga. Don’t tell me your mind went other places...”
“You’re ridiculous.”
“-ly funny. I know I am, baby. And I got your mind off things already, didn’t I?”
“That you did. Maybe you’re not such a bad doctor after all.” You sigh contentedly, turning around to pepper his lips with kisses. “And it pains me to say this, but I still have so much more work to do that I should be getting back to.”
“When was the last time you took a break?”
You smile against his lips, breaking away for a moment. “Doesn’t this count as a break?”
“No, it does not. I’m talking something that lasts longer than a few kisses before you go back to spending hours staring a hole through your laptop.” Lando trails his hands across your shoulders and down your back, never pulling away too far from you. “These knots won’t work themselves out. Just let me take care of you. Please?”
“Well since you asked so nicely…” Your hands travel from tangling in his hair to resting on his chest. “How about in 30 minutes from now?”
Lando groans, you can feel the vibrations against your lips. He finally pulls away, putting some distance between you two. “Fine. If you’re tired of kissing me, I’d better go.”
“No! I’m never tired.” You whine more urgently than you mean to, surely boosting his ego more than it needs to be boosted. To prove it, you kiss him once more.
It’s short-lived as he pulls back with a smug grin. “I can tell, darling.”
“You’re a tease. I won’t even be able to focus now, thanks to you.”
Lando makes his way towards the door, deciding to leave you to your work. The sooner you finish, the sooner you’ll kiss him again. “Good. When you’re done trying to focus, you know where to find me.”
–
the third time.
It’s a McLaren 1-2 for Lando and Oscar to kick off the season.
Everyone in papaya rushes to parc ferme, ready to greet the drivers in an aggressively eager embrace, you included. From the moment Lando stood on top of his car, waving a fist in the air, you were cheering at the top of your lungs.
Lando hops down from his car and rushes to where you’re standing behind the barriers, passing by his team before he gets to you. He engulfs you into his arms, and neither of you care about the sweat that he’s accumulated during the race.
“You did it!” You shriek, and the sound is surely picked up by the nearby camera capturing your interaction. “I couldn’t be more proud of you.”
“What did I tell you?” Lando muses, reminding you of the confidence he’s had all weekend about winning today. The quiet promise your boyfriend made that he’d win this race for you, and he did. But the people didn’t need to know that. It was just fine being a kept secret between the two of you.
Neither of you had made it a point to confirm your relationship publicly, wanting to keep your romance under wraps for as long as you could. You can’t risk anyone trying to pop your love bubble. It was only because of Lando’s insistence that you were in parc ferme with everyone to begin with.
Lando proudly embraces his team and Oscar follows suit. The two drivers congratulate each other and the crowd roars once again. Lando hears you better than anyone else, though maybe he’s just acutely aware of the sound of your voice. He smiles at you, helmet off this time, and stops in his tracks.
“You coming? What are you waiting for?” Oscar questions, realizing that Lando isn’t keeping up alongside him on their way to the cooldown room.
“Give me one second!”
Before his teammate can ask why he’s rushing back to you, Lando’s lips are on yours and he’s kissing you for the world to see, surprising you both. You always knew Lando could be impulsive, but this was different. It doesn’t take long for you to melt into his hold, smiling against his lips with pride and it sends the crowd into a frenzy.
The look you give him is one of astonishment, as if to say, ‘I can’t believe you just did that!’. If nothing else, it’ll give you something to talk about later. Lando walks away cooly, receiving a nudge in the ribs from Oscar as they walk away.
“Looks like you have more than just the win to celebrate, eh?”
Lando smirks, shrugging to play off his public display, or declaration, of love for you as if it was meant to happen. And in many ways, it was. “Something like that.”
There’s nothing quite like standing on the top step of the podium, it’s a feeling that Lando could get used to. As long as you’re here cheering him, he plans on it. The Australian sun shines onto the podium and the trophies sparkle from its golden rays. ‘God Save the King’ plays throughout the paddock, and Lando spots you front and center in the crowd.
He winks, blowing a kiss in your direction as you beam with joy. The questions will be endless as to who Lando was kissing below the podium, but he doesn’t care. When this is over, he’ll be able to kiss you with the world watching, like nobody’s watching at all. Lando can say confidently that is by far his biggest win of the day.

morning runs | ln

the one where your boyfriend finds you fast asleep in your hotel bed when he returns from his morning run.
lando norrix x fem!reader
word count: ~1.0k
warnings: smut MINORS DNI!!!!, porn without plot, somnophilia, p in v, unprotected sex (as always, take care please), slight praise
note: those pictures of him running around melbourne with his shirt off have sent me into a spiral and they're the only thing i could think about for the past two days. i could not help myself.
no matter how many times you travelled long distances, you still weren't used to it; jet lag always kicked your ass every time you went to a race on the other side of the world with lando, messing up your sleeping schedule to the point it ended up knocking you out for the vast majority of the day.
you were trying your best to adapt to the time change, but it always took you a few days to get it right. this year, lando had decided that morning runs were the way to beat jet lag.
he had asked you to join a few times, promising it would be helpful, but the drowsiness made it impossible for you to climb out of bed that early and be productive. that's why he had left all by himself early in the morning, tucking you in and planting a soft kiss on your forehead before walking out the hotel room.
he came back only a few hours later, cheeks flushed and a thin layer of sweat covering his chest, tank top in hand. when he walked into your shared room, he found you were still in bed, in the same position he had left you earlier, sheets sprawled out barely covering your body now.
he softly smiled at the sight before him, the dim light that entered the room from the blinds tempting him to get back in bed with you. he would. righter after taking a shower, he promised himself.
however, he walked to where you were, smiling at your sleepy expression.
"i love you," he mumbled, leaning down to peck your slightly parted lips. he raised his eyebrows when he heard a small whimper leave your throat and you shifted around a little, his eyes scanning your half-naked body.
you were only weating one of his shirts. not that it was something you never did before, but something about tour drowsy state was drawing him in. he sat right beside you on the mattress, trying not to woke you up and his fingers slowly reached for your legs, stroking your bare sking tenderly with the tip of his fingers.
you sighed softly at his warm touch, stretching your body and your shirt sliding up, letting him have a look at your underwear. he moved his hand up, up, up, until his fingertips brushed against the hem of your panties. as if it was muscle memory, your legs slowly spread open for him.
and fuck, was it tempting.
it wouldn't be the first time you woke up to his fingers buried deep inside you or his head between your legs, but he knew this time you were too tired. and he would have stood up and taken a shower if you hadn't whimpered his name in your sleep the second he withdrew his hand from your core. the sweet sound that fell from your lips made him smile, fingers slowly going back to pull your underwear to the side so he could get a proper look at you.
his smirk grew wider at the sight of how wet you were, and when you stirred the second he softly pressed his thumb against your clit, he knew he couldn't just leave you yet. lazily, he got rid of his own clothes, discarding them on the floor and hovered over your body, pulling your shirt up to your hips gently, still not wanting to disturb your sleep.
"look so pretty like this, baby," he mumbled before leaning down to kiss your cheek as he slid his already hard cock between your folds, slowly pushing inside of you only a few seconds later. a low groan escaped his throat as you easily took all of him; the fact that you were so ready for him, even in your unaware state, making him smile once more.
he stilled his body as he bottomed out for a few seconds, his eyes taking in your sweet expression. he brushed a strand of your hair back as he started rolling his hips slowly, his breath getting heavier as you hummed in your sleep.
the groan he let out right next to your ear as you unconciously clenched around him woke you up, making your body squirm in confussion under him.
"s'me, baby..." he slurred, still fucking you slowly and gently. "it's just me, don't worry."
you softly whimpered when you heard your boyfriend's voice and felt his weight on you, chest pressed against yours.
"lando..." the moan that left your lips was low, and you lazily wrapped your arms around his waist, holding him close. your eyes fluttered open only to find out he was looking right back at you. through half-lidded eyes, you could see the slight flush of his cheeks, a chuckle leaving your lips before you closed them again.
"you're doing so good," he whispered, keeping his thrusts gentle, not wanting to take you out of your sleepy state. "my pretty, pretty baby," he added, bumping his nose on yours to kiss your lips before hiding his face in the crook of your neck and spreading little kisses all over your skin.
the build up was slow, whispered praises and sighs being the only sound filling the room that turned into low whimpers as soon as you felt your toes curling, your pussy tightening around your boyfriend's cock, stealing a string of curses from his lips when you felt him filling you up.
after a few seconds, he slowly rolled the two of you on the mattress, your body now on top of his with him still buried inside of you.
"go back to sleep, baby," he murmured, pressing a small kiss to the corner of your lips and pulling the bedsheets over your bodies again, his arms holding you close to his chest, keeping you warm and comfortable.

Lando Norris x Reader
Summary: After a tough triple header, Lando’s feeling the pressure, and you’re there to offer him comfort. As he opens up about his struggles, a surprising confession slips out.
Words: 2.1k
Warnings: swearing, mental health

The triple header was finally over. But it had chewed Lando up and spat him out along the way.
Three weekends. Three countries — Japan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia — each one stacking exhaustion, frustration, and pressure on his shoulders like invisible weights he couldn’t shake off.
It had started so well. Pole position. A first win of the season. A lead in the championship standings. For a brief, brilliant moment, it felt like everything was falling into place.
And then, almost overnight, it began to unravel.
A costly mistake during qualifying. A crash in Saudi that left him stranded in P10 on the grid. Every misstep gnawed at him, louder and sharper than any of the praise that followed.
His team, his fans, his family, they all tried to reassure him. Finishing P4 from a backfoot start was an incredible recovery. They told him they were proud. They told him to hold his head high.
But Lando being Lando, he carried the weight of every mistake like a scar carved into his chest.
Everyone saw it, the way each race seemed to pull him a little further away from himself. The slump of his shoulders, the blankness in his gaze when he thought no one was looking. When he scrolled through his phone late at night, the hateful comments and cruel jokes flashing across his screen, dissecting him, mocking him, criticizing every tiny misstep like he wasn’t even human.
Hours after the Saudi race, the four of you — Max, P, Lando, and you — ended up crashing in Lando’s hotel room, ordering a late dinner to fill the silence no one really wanted to break.
Lando was half-sprawled across the sofa, lazily scrolling through his phone. His leg bounced restlessly up and down, his other hand busy chewing at the edge of his thumb, a nervous habit he never quite managed to shake. You watched him from your spot across the sofa, feeling the unease bleeding off of him in waves.
Max and P had disappeared to pick up the food, leaving just you and Lando behind in the low hum of the AC in the hotel room.
You sighed, placing your phone down in your lap.
“You wanna talk about it?” you asked gently.
Lando glanced up, almost like he hadn’t realized he wasn’t alone. His leg kept bouncing, hand slowly dropping from his mouth. “Hm?” he mumbled.
“You want to talk about it?” you repeated, shifting forward so you were properly facing him. “Whatever’s been bothering you.”
He cleared his throat, mirroring your movement like it gave him something to do. “I’m good,” he said, a little too quickly.
You didn’t buy it for a second.
“You’re clearly not, Lan,” you said, frowning. “When’s the last time you had proper sleep? No offense, but... you look like shit.”
He actually chuckled at that, a low, rough sound. Five years of friendship meant he expected nothing less than brutal honesty from you.
“I’m fine, Y/N. You worry too much.”
“Because I care,” you shot back, voice softer now. “You’re too hard on yourself, you know that? You’re doing a great job—"
“—I’m not,” he interrupted sharply, voice cracking just slightly. His hands scrubbed roughly over his face. “I’m not. And I should be. Everyone expects better from me, and I can’t fucking deliver.”
The words spilled out fast, like he couldn’t hold them in any longer.
You felt your chest tighten at the way he said it, like it wasn’t frustration talking. It was something deeper. Defeat.
Quietly, closing the gap, sitting closer to him without a word. You didn’t try to tell him he was wrong. You didn’t start listing achievements or statistics he already knew by heart. Instead, you leaned your shoulder against his, solid and steady.
“You’re allowed to have bad days, Lan,” you said simply. “One race doesn’t erase who you are. What you’ve built. You’re not just... results on a page.”
He didn’t respond immediately. His leg stilled. His phone slipped from his hand onto the cushion.
For the first time all night, he let himself lean into you, just a little. Just enough. Head ever so gently resting on your shoulder
And for now, you took that as a win.
You sighed, letting your head rest lightly against his, your fingers finding his hand and tracing slow, soothing circles across the back of it. "It’s only been... what? Five races?" you said quietly. "You’ve got so much more ahead of you, Lan."
He let out a bitter laugh, low and tight in his chest. "It’s only been five, and I’ve already fucked up every single one," he muttered. "If I haven’t ruined the whole race, I’ve made at least one critical mistake every damn time."
"You’re not perfect, Lan," you said, squeezing his hand a little tighter, grounding him.
He shook his head against you, the words tumbling out faster now, rough around the edges. "Oscar’s not making mistakes like I am. And Max — everyone keeps saying he shouldn't be that fast in the Red Bull, but he is. He's that good. And me—" He broke off, swallowing hard.
"You’re not Oscar," you said firmly.
"You’re not Max... you’re not Lewis either. You’re Lando. And that’s more than enough."
You pull away slightly, shifting so you’re fully facing him, needing him to see that you mean every word. "It breaks my heart to see you like this," you say quietly, your voice thick with feeling. "Doubting yourself. Look how far you’ve come, Lan. You should be proud."
He offers a small, tired smile, nodding once. "I know..." he murmurs. "It’s just— sometimes it gets too much, you know? I knew what I was signing up for, but... that doesn’t mean the comments, the criticism, all the shit people say... it doesn’t mean it doesn’t get to me. I wish I didn't care so much about what others thought about me"
Your heart twists painfully in your chest. Without thinking, you squeeze his hand again, anchoring him. "Then you wouldn't be you anymore...and we know you’re worth more than anything they have to say," you say, shrugging like it’s the simplest truth in the world. "I want you to be world champion, Lan. I want you to chase every dream you’ve ever had. But if it means losing yourself in the process..."
You shake your head, voice turning fierce with emotion. "If it means losing the Lando I know and love? Fuck the championship."
"Yeah?" His head snaps toward you, a smirk pulling at his lips, one eyebrow raised slightly.
"You love me?"
You roll your eyes, suddenly finding your nails very interesting, anything to distract from the heat creeping up your neck. "Out of everything I just said, that’s what you choose to focus on?"
He laughs, a real one this time, soft and a little mischievous, and nudges his knee against yours. "I love you too, you muppet."
He sighs, settling back against your shoulder like it’s the only place he wants to be. "Having you here with me... it helps," he says quietly.
"I hope you know that. You make everything easier."
You smile, warmth blooming in your chest, and press a soft kiss to the top of his head before resting yours against his again. "Mind saying that again?" you tease, voice light. "Maybe once Max gets back... just so he can hear who your favourite friend really is?"
Lando laughs, and it’s music to your ears, its bright, real, almost like you could see the weight slowly lifting off his chest. "Oh, trust me," he says, nudging you. "He knows he lost to you a long time ago. He doesn’t give me butterflies in my tummy like you do."
You chuckle, a surprised laugh slipping out. "I give you butterflies?"
"Oh, shut up..." Lando muttered, letting out a soft yawn as he nuzzled closer to you, his face buried in your shoulder. "Sometimes I feel like you rile me up on purpose."
"Hey, I do not!" you protested, slapping his leg.
"Ow!" Lando dodged, laughing through the pain. "Alright, fine. Maybe it’s just my tiny crush on you talking."
You smirked, teasing him. "You have a crush on me? How old are you, ten?"
Lando shot you a playful look. "How old are you, ten?" he mocked, sticking out his tongue. "I’ve liked you for a while now, you knob."
You froze, your heart skipping a beat. What the hell? Was he serious, or was he just messing with you? You sat there, stiff and dumbfounded, unsure of what to make of it.
"You're just tired. Sleep it off," you said, trying to brush it off, though your mind was spinning.
"I’m fucking exhausted," he yawned again, his eyes already fluttering closed. "But it doesn’t make me a liar." He shifted slightly, his voice softer now.
"You can even ask Max when he comes back."
Silence.
You couldn’t think of anything to say. Your mind raced with a thousand different scenarios, trying to figure out if he was joking or if there was something real in his words. Surely, he was just messing with you, right?
"Since when?" you asked softly, your voice barely above a whisper.
No response. Just the hum of the AC and Lando’s steady breathing. As much as you wanted to wake him up and demand answers, you knew he needed the rest more than you needed clarity.
You stayed still, afraid to disturb him. Just enough movement to pick up your phone and scroll through your feed, passing the time as you waited for Max and P.
Lando's head was now resting gently on your lap, his legs curled up in a relaxed position, peacefully asleep. Not long later, Max and P arrived, chatting softly as they entered the room.
As soon as they were both in view, you held a finger to your lips, signaling them to keep quiet. P smiled, nodding, and walked over to the kitchen to grab some utensils. Max, however, made his way over to you with the bags of food in hand.
"Finally got him to sleep, huh?" Max said with a grin.
You nodded, a soft smile tugging at your lips. "Took a while, but he's resting."
Max took the opportunity to pull his phone out of his pocket, immediately snapping photos of you and Lando.
You quickly grabbed the throw pillow beside you and tossed it at him.
He dodged it with ease, raising his hands in surrender. "He’d want photos," he said, the smirk never leaving his face.
He’d want photos? Now you were even more confused.
You cleared your throat, trying to brush off the confusion as you gathered your thoughts. "He... uh... he said something to me before he nodded off."
Max’s attention was fully on the food now as he unpacked the containers, "Yeah?"
You took a deep breath, still unsure of how to approach it. "He told me he had a crush on me..." you said with a nervous chuckle.
Max didn’t even flinch. He continued unpacking, casually licking the sauce off his finger, "Oh, you really didn’t know?"
You frowned, your confusion deepening. "What do you mean?"
Max shrugged, clearly not fazed. "I've always assumed you noticed it by now... or that P had told you a while back." He casually shrugged again, tossing the food containers onto the counter. "Thought you were just pretending you didn’t know until he actually confessed."
No fucking way. After all these years of keeping your feelings to yourself, to find out this man — the one napping on your lap right now — likes you too?
"You're fucking with me," you laugh in disbelief. "Since when?"
Max scoffs, clearly amused. "Since months after you two first met?"
"I'll help P out, I’ll grab some ice too," he adds, before heading off into the kitchen.
You stay frozen, your mind racing, still trying to process the whirlwind of emotions.
"Believe me now?"
Lando’s voice pulls you from your trance. You glance down, finding him looking up at you with sleepy, half-lidded eyes and a cheeky grin tugging at his lips.
You roll your eyes, reaching down to pinch his cheek. "You’re so annoying."
"Secrets out..." Lando chuckles, sitting up and stretching. "Gotta take you out on a proper date now."
"I’d love that, actually." You smile softly, feeling a warmth spread through you. Without thinking, you offer him the box of spring rolls.
Lando reaches for a spring roll, popping it into his mouth with a relaxed smile.
"This is good," he says, rubbing his tummy in satisfaction. "Gotta keep the butterflies fed."
