Rambling about a Character from a random otome game ^^

There is this new otome game that had just had it's EN release in north America called Lovebrush Chronicles

At the time I was in a in a need of a bit of an otome fix, and have been wanting to play something new, and after playing some time in the game, I think this game was absolutely worth it! All of the characters at least had some kind of endearing qualities in them, and the story itself actually has one of my favorite tonal whiplashes.

Knowing me though, I also wanted to come into this game to figure out who was the biggest foodie out of the main ensemble and after some time of playing the game, I think that role belongs to Ayn.

Ayn is the kind of character that mainly fits the tsundere archetype where on a surface level, a majority of the time you see him he is very spoiled, cynical, and a bit of a jerk at times, but the more you get used to him the more he softens up.

When it comes to his eating habits, he is certainly an interesting an a more unique case especially when it comes to other glutton characters in that.... he is a bit of a hypocrite. He always chastises the MC and even other characters for eating so much, while he himself is just as much of a glutton, even if he doesn't want to admit so. He is said to have a big sweet tooth, and often likes to indulge on pastries and candy, but he tries to keep that part of him as much of a secret as possible. I am still not to sure why he wants to keep that particularly a secret in particular (I will probably discover later) but it could be a general combination of prejudice, and not wanting to come across as silly and childish. If I do end up reading more of the story, or more about Ayns character maybe soon he could be more comfortable about this aspect of him.

Edit: I also forgot to mention that Ayn is the only character who has mostly food for his affinity gifts

When it comes to the actual story content in general, the teasing is through the roof! A majority of the time the topic would be dangling over, and would either end up having Ayn dancing around the topic, or him feeding the MC (which in my bias I want him to be the one being fed instead) yet when these moments are there they are done very well, and I am left satisfied.
