 I love an on the surface opposites attract cynical x hopeful realist vs (albeit extreme) idealist ship but where they actually have a bit more in common than you’d expect. Ticks certain boxes in that 

Nat is a character who to me, is so often wound up and tasked with the provider/protector role or when she’s not and she does accept help it’s removed help like what Tai gives her, I like the aspect of even when Lottie gets on her nerves she can put Nat at ease enough to be taken care of like in the 2x05 scene and generally in their adult timeline scenes 

Lottie can really benefit from someone pragmatic and critical like Nat, I think she assumes only her blind followers will really care about her and Nat meeting her as an equal and clashing with her but still caring  proves her wrong 

Taivan

first of all just everything about this current storyline for adult them! so good!! the references to how Divorced they are (and I think it adds definitively more flavor to know they were together at Shauna’s wedding, we know their break up (at least the last one). The mix of affection that’s there are wariness, and harsher tensions especially on Van’s end so good! And while Tai is definitely operating primarily from a selfish place and as per Tawny’s interview not a very romantic one towards anyone love that she seems slightly more tender/is concerned by Van’s lack of tenderness when it is Van. Also in my I love adultery in fiction era in a sense so this arc arrived at the perfect time for me! 

Both pairs of actresses have such good chemistry imo definitely some of the best I’ve seen for canon wlw ships recently. Especially Jasmin & Liv’s is so strong and also like… warm in a way that’s so charming.

Like Lottienat it’s a believer/idealist x skeptic/cynic ship and I like that concept for a ship

starting with something i don’t think I’ve specifically focused on as much when I talk about them but that I definitely feel strongly about: I love them as an exploration of complicated grief… like there are just so many different layers to Shauna’s grief and it’s such a huge defining loss like that time she told Callie about being given Jackie’s uniform for her 40th birthday and feeling like she’d spent so much of her life thinking about her… and I love the Jackievisions for that reason too (also in a more strictly romantic context just the idea of being haunted by a love in that way rules) 

I just love these types of relationships (which anyone familiar with me and my tastes would know) these codependent teen girl friendships that end tragically in some way. And women “making/shaping” other women in terms of crafting their image or what they emulate. the element of literal consumption and just the focus on consumption of all sorts with them adds another layer/takes the concept to a level most shows wouldn’t commit to in terms of exploring the idea I’m very into all of it.

| E SE OS IRMÃOS SAKAMAKI ENFRENTASSEM A "TPM" E MENSTRUAÇÃO?

O título da publicação está explicitando o conteúdo de toda essa postagem, mas vou me isentar de responsabilidade e avisar a todos os possíveis gatilhos: sangue, clicos menstruais , tensão pré-menstrual, ações OCC com intuito humorístico.

Todos nós sabemos que pessoas que nascem com um pênis não passam por nenhum período pré menstrual e assim por diante, entretanto, tenha em mente que tudo o que está sendo escrito nessa publicação é apenas uma especulação cômica inspirada em um comentário feito por uma amiga chamada @eyelessdoll-y em uma de suas postagens mais recentes: essa! Resumo da opera: é uma postagem sobre headcanons, consuma meu conteúdo com uma colher de chá, o material original está aqui caso queira conferir, e, mais uma coisa: alguma suspensão de descrença pode ser necessária.

AYATO:

Quando Ayato está na TPM, ele simplesmente não percebe que está acontecendo. O seu comportamento não muda devido aos hormônios, entretanto, seu corpo sim! Uma das primeiras coisas que ocorrem é que devido a retenção de líquido, o corpo se torna mais "volumoso" — diga-se: ele fica mais cheiinho.

“Será que eu exagerei quando resolvi comer aquela porção extra de takoyaki?”

A segunda coisa que ele irá notar, será como seus próprios peitos estão mais cheios, ele também poderá notar uma certa sensibilidade, mas novamente: ele ainda não percebeu o que de fato está acontecendo.

“Hehe... Meus peitos estão maiores que os peitos da chichinashi, mas não é preciso muito esforço para superar uma tábua.”

Como o Ayato se enxerga nesse período:

Uma vez que Ayato atinge aqueles dias temidos os quais ele tem seu clico menstrual, você pode ter certeza absoluta de que Ayato não tentará ser discreto sobre o assunto, nâo, Ayato vai revelar isso a todos fazendo um escândalo, não será nada pacífico! Nosso querido ore-sama vai esbravejar e reclamar, motivo? Simples: ele nunca lembra a data do próprio clico e nem procura saber quando será para evitar problemas ou sujeira, mas ele ficará absolutamente irritado quando alguma peça de roupa favorita dele se suja ou quando os lençóis se mancham.

“HAH-... mas o quê? Que merda é essa?! Eh? Esse sangue todo sujou minha roupa, che! OE, LAITO! Você tem um daqueles absorventes?”

Ele possivelmente vai se gabar do fato do seu ciclo ser super intenso e como ele dura por mais dias que o de todo mundo na mansão, basicamente Ayato é como uma criança discutindo com a outra sobre quem tem a maior pontuação em um jogo de fliperama.

“O seu clico dura apenas três dias? Você realmente já chegou na puberdade? O clico do ore-sama dura por sete dias seguidos! Três dias não são nada se comprados com isso.”

Enquanto muitos dos irmãos estão lidando com os seus próprios problemas envolvendo seus próprios ciclos menstruais Ayato irá fazer chacota com as dores alheias, sempre afirmando que o grande ore-sama não sente dor alguma em seus clicos.

“O quê?! Você está sentindo dor? O grande ore-sama não sente nada, você está sendo dramático.”

Entretanto, quando ninguém está olhando para ele, uma das primeiras coisas que Ayato vai fazer será: se trancar no seu quarto e sofrer em silêncio com suas cólicas menstruais enquanto abraça seu travesseiro em formato de takoyaki, ele simplesmente se recusa a pedir um pouco dos remédios que Reiji tem para essas situações.

“Uhg... Eu realmente odeio esses dias, por quanto tempo isso vai durar? Só se passaram dois dias...”

KANATO:

Kanato possiu uma TPM extrema, esse pequeno indivíduo se torna um demônio. Os irmãos Sakamaki têm um estoque secreto de doces para casos de emergência, mas quando o estoque acaba — evento que ocorre de três em três meses, os irmãos Sakamaki precisam correr contra o tempo e sair comprar doces quase imediatamente para aplacar a fúria desse bebezão! Todos sabem quando ele está com TPM, e ninguém se atreve a enfrentá-lo.

“Eu não me importo se eles estão atrás de doces nesse exato momento... EU QUERO DOCES AGORA!”

Faltando um dia para o início da menstruação de Kanato, todo o ódio acumulado dentro do seu ser será amplificado, momentaneamente Kanato irá juntar forças com Subaru e juntos ambos irão se tornar os maiores destruidores de propriedade da mansão Sakamaki — é nesse momento que Reiji pensa: como eu vou pagar pelos danos que estes dois estão causando? Sera que é uma boa ideia dopar ambos e evitar mais danos?

“Tudo me perturba, eu quero que todas essas coisas simplesmente saiam do meu caminho... Ei, Teddy! O que você acha de destruir algumas coisas?”

Destruir tudo realmente ajudará Kanato a e acalmar, contudo, isso será sempre uma faca de dois gumes porque ele não pensa muito sobre o faz quando está em seu estado de puro ódio destruindo todas as coisas que ele vê pela frente — incluindo objetos pessoais ou seus doces.

“Eles estão um pouco amassados, mas ainda estão deliciosos... Eu só não posso dizer o mesmo da minha cama.”

Quando a menstruação de Kanato descer esse ódio vai se dissipar aos poucos trazendo com ele situações de vulnerabilidade e tristeza, kanato irá buscar conforto pressionado Teddy contra seu peito enquanto suavemente cantarolará uma melodia suavemente para tentar se distrair de tudo e dormir — se algum dos gêmeos descobrir sobre isso, Kanato irá negar veementemente, ao mesmo tempo que ele ficará feliz com a companhia deles. Kanato não vai admitir isso voz alta, mas ele teme não receber atenção o suficiente estando nesse estado caótico, isso sempre o faz se lembrar de uma parte conturbada da sua infância.

“Vocês são tão irritantes! Parece que eu não tenho escolha se não tolerar a companhia de vocês até vocês se cansarem de perturbar a mim e Teddy.”

Kanato sempre teve dificuldade para escolher a marca certa de absorventes, ele não tem um fluxo intenso como Ayato, mas se torna difícil escolher um absorvente correto quando grande parte o material usado neles lhe dá sérios problemas de alergia — depois de muito debate a melhor escolha para ele foi usar coletores menstruais, mas não é uma tarefa fácil encontrar produtos como estes em lojas de utilidade comuns.

“... grrrr! Ppr que eles são tão difíceis de se encontrar?! Essa maldita alergia só me trás problemas!”

Nos dias finais Kanato finalmente irá recobrar parte do seu estado de espírito até finalmente voltar a normalidade, ele odiou algumas partes dessa experiência, mas não achou tão ruim quanto ele pensou que seria.

LAITO:

O nosso querido pervertido de chapéu fedora não sofre com alterações de humor drásticas, não sofre com inchaços ou necessidade por doces, mas nem tudo será um mar de rosas para Laito, após alguns dias antes do início da sua menstruação seja dois dias antes ou até quatro dias antes da data prevista, Laito sentirá um início de mal estar e muitas dores de cabeça, isso inclusive pode o deixar indisposto para praticar suas “travessuras”.

“Hum... Nós não temos que ir tão longe ainda bitch-chan~ que tal você deixar eu te acariciar um pouco mais?”

Laito se torna mais errático em relação ao seu tratamento com seus irmãos e vítimas, sendo este, um período onde ele irá evitar contato com qualquer ser. Laito não sabe por que está fazendo isso, claro, ele tem uma reputação de pervertido para defender, mas essa situação ao qual ele se prende sempre parece estar indo longe demais, ele já fez coisas assim antes, mas Laito não quer pensar sobre isso, esse é o seu mecanismo de enfrentamento, enquanto Laito não pensar sobre o que aconteceu estará tudo “bem”, mas toda essa situação ainda o faz se lembrar dela, isso apenas piora tudo.

“Nfu~ qual o sentido em fazer uma coisa dessas quando eu não posso 'dominar' sempre que quiser...?”

Assim que Laito perceber o que causou sua falta de ânimo repentina, o seu próximo movimento será roubar alguns dos medicamentos que Reiji guarda para emergências como essa.

“Nfu~ Reiji provavelmente sentirá falta de três ou quatro comprimidos do seu estoque, mas algumas ações são necessárias.”

No início do seu ciclo menstrual ele irá sentir uma necessidade maior por contato físico, se uma explicação for necessária eu direi: “o estrogênio, cai no início do período menstrual e começa a subir gradualmente no segundo ou terceiro dia, promovendo a libido e o desejo.” você afirmar facilmente que Laito é como um cachorro no cio.

“Fufu~ isso pode parecer auto-indulgência, mas meu corpo anseia por isso... Por que eu estou desejando mais do seu toque bitch-chan? Você é uma garota muito má por me fazer sentir assim~”

“M-mas eu não fiz absolutamente nada!”

“MEN-TI-RO-SA! Parece que não tenho escolha a não ser te disciplinar~”

Ao contrário do seu irmão Ayato, Laito não sofre com cólicas intensas nesse período — na verdade a existência delas é altamente insignificante, mas isso não o impede de usar cólicas como uma desculpa para manipular os outros ao seu redor, para fazer com que os outros se dobrem a sua vontade por sentirem do pena dele, “Coitadinho do Laito... Olha como ele está sofrendo com toda essa dor.” Laito é uma Drama Queen de primeira categoria.

“... Huh... Eu não me sinto muito bem. Parece que meu abdômen vai se partir ao meio, minha barriga... dói muito, você poderia dar uma olhada e ver se está tudo bem? Eh? Sério? Nada? Vamos, olhe mais de perto.”

Quando o sangue parar de escorrer Laito irá comemorar por essa bomba emocional ter terminado — até ele se lembrar que esse é um acontecimento mensal e que ele terá que lidar com isso até o final da sua imortalidade.

“Parece que isso não pode ser simplesmente parado...(é uma lástima, tudo durou por apenas por três dias, não consigo acreditar nessa situação e eu não quero repetir a dose tão cedo.)”

REIJI:

Reiji é facilmente o homem mais preparado contra qualquer percalço causado pela menstruação ou TPM, depois de um tempo de observação e estudando as reações e dias mais derivados de seu ciclo e do clico de seus irmãos. Ele provou a todos na mansão que ele é a melhor pessoa para lidar com essas.

“...Francamente Ayato você já deria ter se prevenido desde o início para evitar bagunças como esta! Eu vou precisar colocar um calendário no seu quarto para que você não se esqueça?"

“Cale a boca quatro olhos! A culpa não é minha se o sangue simplesmente resolveu sair!”

Ainda assim, cenas como essas são comuns na TPM do Reiji:

Isso não acontece por mudanças hormonais, não, todo esse ódio será gerado pelo descontentamento causado pelos seus irmãos nesse período.

“Eu vou falar pela última vez: Ayato, se você fizer mais uma gracinha, vão existir consequências...(Se controle, você não pode matá-lo ou sofrerá as consequências)”

Reiji não lida com cólicas ou qualquer sintoma de uma tensão pré-menstrual, ele tem um calendário no seu quarto com a data exata do seu próprio clico, ele sempre se certifica de tomar os remédios na hora e data exata para se prevenir dos sintomas desagradáveis.

Reiji sempre faz uma dose extra de medicação e ele sabe que Laito têm o costume de saquear seu estoque.

“Três comprimidos sumiram... Como sempre, você não é nem um pouco discreto Laito.”

Reiji não faz isso porque ele se importa com seus irmãos, nós estamos falando sobre Reiji Sakamaki! Ele sempre pensa em uma maneira criativa de punir Laito pelos seus roubos.

“Parece que seu comportamento malicioso não pode ser evitado... Um disciplinamento adequado será necessário.”

Laito:

Além disso, como esse indivíduo é a pessoa mais "tranquila" em seu período menstrual, entre muitas aspas, porque esse homem estará sendo movido na força do ódio até o final desse inferno de mudanças hormonais, para a infelicidade do vampiro ele sempre será o encarregado de cuidar dos seus irmãos quando eles estão no período — porquê a biologia ordenou que todos os irmãos Sakamaki iriam ter os clicos sincronizados, então ele é o encarregado de comprar absorventes para todos enquanto lida com seu próprio ciclo.

“Eu vou falar seus nomes apenas uma vez, então é melhor que todos escutem com atenção: Laito, venha pegar seus absorventes internos, Ayato, seus absorventes de fluxo noturno, Kanato, não tinha no supermercado a marca que você normalmente usa, você terá que se contentar com estes coletores menstruais e Subaru, esses são os absorventes que você pediu.”

Sim, ele não fará nada para ajudar o Shuu.

“Eu não me importo com o que você está sentindo, apenas arranje algum absorvente por conta própria e não torne minha a existência torturante.”

Toda essa chuva de hormônios causa um descontrole de raiva crônica, em um nível que se torna quase impossível ter uma conversa com mais de quatro frases com Subaru sem ele destruir alguma coisa.

“Fufu~ olá Subaru-kun, como você está se sentindo hoje?”

“APENAS CALE A BOCA E ME DEIXE EM PAZ!!!”

Subaru apertou a mandíbula rangendo os dentes com ódio e "BAM!" — outra parede foi destruida por suas mãos. O vampiro notou que mais uma vez, sua raiva provocou um novo rastro de destruição, seu próximo pensamento foi: o Reiji vai me matar...

“Eu posso saber o motivo de tanta... Subaru, eu tinha acabado de pagar pelo conserto desta parede.”

“Fufu~ me parece que Subaru-kun está na T-P-M~”

Normalmente, uma das formas de aplacar a fúria de Subaru nesse período tão complicado é executada por meio da força bruta, ele muitas vezes será confinado dentro masmorras da mansão, para sua própria segurança e para garantir a segurança das paredes.

“EI, ME TIREM DAQUI AGORA! ISSO É UMA ORDEM, EU VOU ACABAR COM VOCÊS QUANDO EU SAIR DAQUI!!!”

No segundo dia de confinamento ele será de escapar e todo o clico de destruição retorna, de novo e de novo — ninguém consegue o impedir porque a adrenalina mesclada com a RAIVA tornam Subaru uma fera sedenta por sangue completamente implacável contra qualquer ataque exterior.

“SAIAM DA MINHA FRENTE, AGORA!”

Subaru é o irmão Sakamaki com o ciclo menstrual mais curto entre todos os seus cinco irmãos — isso é uma bênção, porque se durasse por mais tempo a mansão Sakamaki não estaria mais em pé.

“Você destruiu doze paredes, quatro almofadas, um sofá, dez estantes e em três ocasiões diferentes você e Kanato quebraram exatamente trinta portas.”

“Tudo isso aconteceu em um período de três dias?!”

“Não, seu idiota! Isso foi o que você fez na contagem do primeiro dia, em um único dia você conseguiu fazer meu travesseiro ser reduzido a cinzas.”

Subaru também tem o costume de se meter em brigas nesse período:

SHUU:

Quando Shuu está com TPM, suas ações são frias, Shuu apenas deseja permanecer deitado em cama em posição fetal, por conta da dor que ele sente, tanto física quanto emocional.

“Eu não me importo, apenas me deixe em paz...”

Esse será um período conturbado para o primogênito da mansão Sakamaki porque é nesse período que as memórias antigas voltam para sua mente.

“Eu gostaria que tudo acabasse... de uma vez por todas”

Cada pequena ação, o simples ato de respirar, comer e muitos outros irão se tornar cada vez mais difíceis de serem feitos.

“...(por que eu existo?)”

Quando a menstruação de Shuu finalmente descer, ele irá odiar cada segundo dessa sensação, um dos seus primeiros pensamentos será ir até a banheira e permanecer no local até que o sangue pare de escorrer, mas ele desiste dessa ideia depois do segundo dia e resolve comprar absorventes.

“Eu estou todo molhado... e ficar aqui não está ajudando.”

Quando Shuu sair para comprar absorventes, será esperado que ele fique fora por horas — os motivos são variados, mas preguiça é um deles. Quando ele chegar ao corredor de produtos de higiene íntima, Shuu ficará parado pensando. por quê? Simples, esse vampiro não conhece nada sobre absorventes e não sabe qual marca deve comprar.

“Isso é exaustivo... Por que existem tantas marcas para um único item...?”

Então, ele vai pegar o telefone e começar a digitar, tentando pesquisar qual marca mais aquedada para sua situação, mas o Google não ajuda em nada. Enquanto ele está em seu estado de confusão, uma simpática senhora irá se oferecer para ajudá-lo, percebendo o quão perdido ele está — ele ainda fica lá por mais um tempo e escolhe algumas marcas diferentes, apenas por precaução.

“Obrigado...”

Ao fim desse clico de tortura constante de tentar encontrar a marca certa para o seu "problema", Shuu finalmente irá descansar em paz, ele ainda pensa um pouco sobre seus problemas, mas ele não quer pensar sobre isso, ele só quer dormir — além disso ele está grato pela ajuda que recebeu.

VAMPIRES DON’T TAKE ROAD TRIPS

summary: aidan “di” absyna has it all—or so he thinks. he’s a guitarist in a punk band with his best friends, his boyfriend, the lead singer maverick loverde, is perfect, so what if he’s not out to his extremely controlling religious parents yet? things however come crashing down around him when the day before they’re supposed to go on stage at the biggest and probably most important event in their budding careers, maverick walks out on them, ending he and di’s relationship suddenly in the process. their leader nix, frantic to not let them crash in burn calls in a “best friend” that none of them have ever heard of—a mysterious, good looking, powerhouse vocalist toph. and toph well… toph’s a demon. literally.

summary: kirsi sunniva and her aunt lady jeanna sunniva (posing as her governess) make their (hopefully) triumphant return to alizath’s social scene; to repair the tarnished reputation their family and of her father who still waits outside of the country for his banishment to be lifted. in order to do this, kirsi must make connections, and connections she makes. but even from the beginning something seemed slightly… off about why her family was banished—and who she even is. and if she happens to uncover those secrets… what will the state of alizath be once they come to light?

I assumed she would probably just lose it in some way because of a dramatic event, but I could also see the baby maybe being something Not Quite Human since YJ definitely plays into non-contemp horror tropes at least a little even if it isn’t explicitly fantasy or anything. I saw someone say it would be Jackie reincarnated I don’t think that but it would certainly be interesting lol. I think what would be interesting and potentially really heartbreaking, but could also lead to some good content, is if the baby scared one of the other yellowjackets (I think either Tai Lottie or Misty) for some reason of seeming uncanny or supernatural or something, and they made a decision that indirectly lead to the baby being lost or dying, but maybe don’t tell Shauna about it so it comes back up in the adult timeline. But I also think she could just lose it. Another possibility: maybe the baby was eaten by wolves ?? You’re so real for the Jily/Dramione comparison actually ( strap in and please excuse my rambling- I’m tired and very passionate about this)

James/ Draco are essentially the same character. Canonically they were both spoilt, rich, bullies who didn’t really care about people they deemed were “below” them. The only MAJOR difference was how they defined who was underneath them.

Draco went for muggle borns and blood traitors and James went for anyone who breathed wrong near him. James was the one who got the redemption and the girl though (which is another difference between them)

Lily/Hermione are the smart muggleborn and they’re both pretty firey. Lily really had no interest in James until (roughly) seventh year and always considered him a bully. It’s the whole “he was mean because he liked her uwu” thing which. Ew. And is a whole other thing.

Hermione was called slurs repeatedly by Draco, and never viewed him as someone she could even be civil with, let alone DATE. Another “he was mean to her because he liked her UwU” situation.

I mean there are obviously differences because of circumstances and such but to their core they’re essentially the same (I don’t really like either)

I agree with all of this tbh, your ramblings described those ships perfecfully. I kinda tolerate jily in some fics because they just mentioned in passing and their existence is just to progress the plot. Little knows information about them, which isn't enough to made them dislikeable or likeable (at least to me). So it's up to each person how to intepret james and lily's character and how their relationship goes. In comparison, there's so many draco and hermione's information so intepreting their characters is easier, and enough interaction that made people wonder 'what-ifs'. While james and lily got together just because james matured, and thats coming from his biased friend.

And tbh i felt discomfort by those two ships because it reeks 'hot badboy who got fixed by pure kind girl' and both fits the trope 'quidditch jock x nerd', which is fine but i just want to pointed that out. While i like harmione (i have no opinion on lily), james and draco's attitude made them so punchable and i probably will sell matchsticks if people burned them. James and draco have shown no respect to lily and hermione while lily and Hermione regard them with hostility. While i love enemies to loverd troupe, it's almost impossible to made them together without them being forced by narrative, which means narrative have to erase some of their traits to made the ships happened.
