If you are considering watching the final Elite season to find out what happened to your OG favorites, let me save you the trouble. If you still want to watch season 8, more power to you, I only made it through because I was watching with a good friend and lots of wine.

OMAR: still struggling. We found out last season that he has been dealing with depression and anxiety ever since Samuel’s death. Now he is occasionally doing better. He manages to get Las Encinas closed down, which makes him happy, so good for him. He also looks to be working as head waiter at Isadora’s club, though I’m not clear on whether he is still doing that at the end.

NADIA: still going after what she wants. Nadia is back in town for reasons, but only briefly. She’s set to return to New York, where she has scored an internship with the UN. This is putting her on the path to achieve the dream she shared in the Elite pilot (“When I finish my studies, I’d like to be a professional diplomat at the United Nations.”)

LU: still looking out for the ones she loves. We only get one brief Lu mention from Nadia. Apparently Las Encinas’ alumni association does not let in scholarship students (a totally normal rule for an alumni association to have). But Lu pulled some strings to make sure they admit her bestie, so that Nadia can benefit from the association’s great contacts.

That’s it. No appearances by any OGs except for Omar and Nadia. And no new info on what anyone else is up to.

Élite friendships 🌿

🌿Ok but can take 2 minutes to appreciate the friendship between Lu and Nadia? Like it’s the friendship I didn’t knew I needed. These queens are like beyond any ship. Ok not really, Omander still slays but. Hear me out. They are so amazing together. The story and everything makes me really obsessed with them. To quote some artist “Girl power and all”. 🌿

🌿Also, the friendship between Rebeka and Andér. I didn’t saw that one coming. With Lu and Nadia I kinda knew from the first season they are gonna get along and all but I didn’t expected this one. Rebeka has been there for him without being asked like she saw the pain and she just stood there, never left.🌿

🌿You can never be wrong with the gay best friend or gay friend kind of friendship. And somehow through the end of the season 2 and in the third season we see a part of Omar’s character we needed. Like the smiley one, the happy one. And most importantly the Omar getting along with Lu. That’s iconic, really.🌿

🌿And then Guzmán and Samu being friends. I wasn’t so excited about this one because they really didn’t had a solid reason to hate each other and it was kinda predictable. But I’m happy because they deserved that, I think they are making a good duo. 🌿

1. In season 1 when Ian visits Mickey in jail. “Say that again and I rip your tongue out of your head” There were so many perfect Gallavich moments but that was the first one which catched me! 

2.  When Mark told Lexie about their future and that they were meant to bes while Lexie was dying. It was so fucking sad and unfair but so emotional.

3. Every quote from the  Phil's- Osophy

4. Carla and Samuels Macarrones Scene

5. When Wade and Zoe finally got together in the night George wanted to marry Lemon. The sexual tension was fucking incredible and Wade was so fucking hot.

6. When Clove died and screams Cato’s name and Cato came too late and only found her body and cried. (this scene ist only from the book). But I liked the story of Haymitch’s games, too. His alliance with Maysilee. The idea of him being a hot and smart young guy that couldn’t handle the memory of the games and the loss of his loved ones is so emotional and sad.

A storyline that never should have been written:

1. The break up of Ian and Mickey in season 5 only because of Ians mental health. Mickey tried so much to help Ian and Ian blamed Mickey without any reason. I was so furious.

2. Alex leaving Jo for Izzie and Izzie having kids from Alex sperm ???? This was a fucking joke. Yeah, hated the last Alex and Izzie break up and I would have loved seeing them stay together and grow as persons and lovers. I rooted so much for them. There was so much potential and I have to admit I prayed for her coming back and saving the relationship. Even years after her exit because of all the open questions but I never thought they would do something so bad like this. Him leaving Jo and all his life / friends [MEREDITH] only with a letter ? That has nothing to do with the Alex Karev he had become. It destroys his whole character development. I wanted Izzie back not Alex leave.

3. All scenes Jay disrespects Mitchell and Mitchells sexuality. Yeah you can mention this but sometimes it’s presented as funny and there are many stupid cliches. It’s sad even if it’s only a sitcom.

4. Carlas Dad causing Christians injuries so that he can’t talk about Polos fault. That was too sick.

5. Zoe's relationship with Joel. Not surprising. I kind of liked Joel but what the fuck? There was a love triangle with George why another one?

6. The way Katniss acted in Mockingjay. First of all she was a kid, why the fuck did she think she could make her own thing and kill snow without any plan? And it's written as if she is a war hero and not an abused kid. On the other side I hated how she treated Peeta and she is so self-pity, it's cruel.

I've never liked Omar and Lu's friendship much cause instead of being friends with Lu, I was always hoping that Omar and Nadia would finally get closer + I also disliked that double date Omar + Ander and Lu + Guzman had... the way how he talked to Lu about Nadia made me so sad 🙁.

And Rebe and Samu, that friendship is something that could last, I'm sure. If only Samu wouldn't have been such a dick but Rebe will forgive him and they are going to have an awesome friendship.

Thoughts while watching Élite - Season 3

Spolier warning

Episode 1:

It doesn’t feel right to say this, but I’m glad Polo doesn’t make it through the season. Actually, I would have preferred seeing him in prison, but the ending as it is here is satisfying as well to some degree. Because, honestly, depite still being very tense and interesting, that whole storyline starts being a real drag.

Also because it makes me very, very angry to see Polo. And Caye. And Carla, although I don’t hate her as much as in season 2.

The logical chain of thought would be that Samu killed Polo, because it doesn’t seem unlikely that Carla would cover up for him.

But in the past two seasons the first option never ended up being the right one, so I don’t think it was Samu.

In season 2 I also learned through Cayetana’s storyline that every seemingly loose storyline ties into the bigger picture. So I’m curious (and worried) to see where the thing with Ander’s sickness will go. At first I thought its only purpose was to keep him away from the court hearing, but he clearly lied to Omar about the results, so it wasn’t just a cheap one episode scare. I wish it was.

Episode 2:

I hate it so much that Ander has cancer. Why?? I hate it. Why did the writers have to give him that storyline? I hate it so much.

What’s even going on anymore? Kidnapping, blackmailing, Valerio almost prostituting himself... These kids deserve some rest.

Not sure if I ever mentioned this, but at this point it’s become clear that Guzmán is my favourite character. I want him to get some inner peace.

I do feel sorry for Lu.

Episode 3:

What’s that stuff with Valerio? That just seems like a remake of what went on between Polo, Carla and Christian in season 1.

So ... the purpose of Ander’s cancer storyline is that it’s a reflection of how guilty he feels and a device to save his and Guzmán’s friendship? I still hate it.

Could the show please stop trying to manipulate me into feeling sorry for Polo? I’m aware that one the one side it’s a difficult situation, but on the other side he’s still a fucking murderer and shouldn’t get away with his crime and all his lies and attempts to cover it up.

Just like during last season, I don’t really care about the new characters yet. It takes some more time.

All this talk about “doing it for the family” just gives me Breaking Bad vibes, I can’t help it.

Episode 4:

Two seasons later and I still don’t care about Polo’s threesomes.

Okay, but hear me out on my theory on who killed him: I think it was Valerio, due to three reasons: 1) He’s definitely presented as one of the characters least likely to do it and in season 1 one of the people who was least spiteful towards the victim ended up being the killer. 2) Lu is affected by knowing who did it and Samu advices her to lie about it. 3) I don’t remember if it was the same bottle design, but there were two instances in the former episodes in which Valerio bought champagne bottles and that’ll be the murder weapon, so maybe that was foreshadowing. What speaks against my theory is that I don’t know why Carla would help him.

Loved Lu’s party idea.

Her and Omar’s friendship is amazing, I want more of it.

Why this thing with Malick and Omar, though? The writers already gave Ander fucking cancer and relationship issues resulting from that, I don’t want him to experience even more bullshit. I hope it stays the way things ended here.

My poor Nadia x  Guzmán shipping heart went through both extreme happiness and sadness this episode and I am not okay with this. 

I hate it when Samu gets himself into situations like the one with Rebeka.

Loved it when everyone stood up for her. Especially Valerio who didn’t even know what he agreed to haha.

The amount of blackmailing is this show is insane.

Curious to see where the drug dealing plans will go.

Episode 5:

What better way to start off an episode than with a montage of drug dealing and upbeat music in the background?

It’s become totally obvious to me now why the writers would give Ander cancer: It’s their freeway to get the protagonists reminiscent about life and what really matters to them, hence they are driven to make decisions they otherwise wouldn’t. I get that. But ... I don’t know, it still feels like a somewhat cheap storytelling device, you know?

After all this time, will we end up getting a Lu and Nadia friendship? I’d approve.

I don’t think Guzmán killed Polo, no.

That flourescent paint thing was a bit corny, but I also loved it, because especially regarding Malick and Omar it really was an “Ohh shit” moment.

I must say, I don’t understand Omar. Declining Ander’s offer to have an open relationship just to then technically cheat on him moments later? WIth his sister’s boyfriend?? Dude...

Like I said before, I don’t hate Carla as much as I did last season. Not saying that I like her, but I don’t think she deserves that shitty situation with that other dude (I don’t remember his name, sorry). Actually ... her and Samu would not be the worst option. Can’t believe I said that.

Episode 6:

I stan Nadia’s and Lu’s friendship.

I also stan Samu’s and Guzmán’s friendship.

That shit between Ander and Omar just fucking hurts. Ander pretending to cheat on him so that he can “set him free” from being with him ... That’s some heavy stuff. I hate it.

Obviously one of the protagonists would develop a drug problem at some point. Poor Carla. Can’t believe I said that either.

Why do they all blame each other? Ander suggested Guzmán killed Polo, Rebeka that Samu did it ... More than one killer? I don’t think so. My guess remains Valerio, but it’s really more of a guess, mostly I’m just confused on what’s going on. But we know that from the last seasons already. So I’m still super hooked to find out how everything leads to the crucial moment.

Episode 7:

Ander’s storyline just makes me so fucking sad. I low-key hate the showrunners for all of this. I didn’t sign up for this shit. If I wanted to watch something sad about teenagers dying from cancer I’d be watching “The Fault in Our Stars”.

We’re back in the same situation as in season 1: Everybody has a reason to kill Polo. And everybody accuses one another, so I have no chance of knowing it. It starts getting a bit repetitive, doesn’t it?

I hate that I was manipulated into feeling happy for Carla, now that things are going so well for her.

I’m genuinely happy for Lu and Nadia, though. 

As you can tell, I never ended up giving a shit about Yeray or Malick.

Just tell me who the killer is, I’m done with making assumptions.

Episode 8:

Damn, damn, damn. I didn’t think it would end up being Lu. Glad to finally know. Also why they all accused each other.

Remember in the beginning of this post when I said it was satisfying to see Polo die? *Sigh* I was wrong. It wasn’t satisfying, okay? I cried my fucking eyes out when Guzmán forgave him, I’m not kidding. Samu was right: They all have suffered enough and I kinda wish it hadn’t ended like this ... It’s just all a huge fucking tragedy, isn’t it? But I’m still glad that things finally came to an end here.

And I mean, I always raged so much about Polo, but after all he wasn’t a one-sided “evil” character. In the end, I guess I made peace with him as well.

Yeah, part of the reason why I’m coming to this conclusion is that I don’t want to admit to myself what a fucking hypocrite I’d be for not despising Lu as well then.

I just want these kids to be happy, okay? So I’m very glad about the optimistic ending.

The Short Stories and then season 4 are going to be interesting. I really don’t think they’ll be as good as season 1-3, because I can imagine it to be a typical case of beating a dead horse. The season finale felt like a series finale (except for the ending maybe) and I don’t think it’s necessary to continue the story. However, obviously I’ll watch it, because I’m already way too invested in these characters.

But well, I’m actually amazed that this show was able to keep up more or less the same quality for three seasons. It’s not perfect and as I said, the last one was a bit of a drag, because all has been going on for so long, but I was still well entertained, so it’s no big deal.

Top 13 Elite moments: #13

Nadia comes to the pool party and reveals to Lu that she’s sharing the scholarship with her - 3.06

Lu and Nadia’s friendship is one of the best things in s3 and this moment… gawd. Nadia has literally just given Lu her future back that she thought was lost, and that melts her shell enough for her to hug Nadia (not without the immediate “people are staring” of course, A+ writing and acting). They have worked incredibly hard and to see both of them get this win AND their friendship on top is everything to me.

Elite WHAT HAPPENED TO THE VILLAIN POLO??? (Please don’t read if u haven’t watched the show or this season yet spoilers are ahead, scroll past this please)

This wasn’t what I expected. I understand what they were trying to do with Polo’s story but in my opinion it would’ve been better for him to go full villain. I actually started liking him towards the middle of season 2 because he was getting a bit darker. I was really Polo Hive. He was already going there in season 2. It’s like they wanted us to feel so bad for him in this season and it worked because by the end I was just like he died for absolutely nothing in this season because he really didn’t do anything conniving or criminal. It would’ve been better for him to go to jail tbh.

And why did Lu have to be the one see this is why Polo should’ve had his villain arc because Samu should’ve been the one to do it since he was one of the people that wanted him gone the most. His enrage over Polo still being alive made sense of course however it would’ve been felt more if Polo was really being the true villain that they were making him out to be.

Ander got sick for nothing I’m sorry. He went through all of that for what? No Polo x Ander endgame (yes let me be delusional 😂😂) no death, nothing????? I would’ve been highly upset if Ander would’ve died but seeing how it played out he would’ve been better off dead at the end of the season chile. Omar cheated & didn’t even tell him unlike Ander who told him about his hookup with Polo right away. Then Omar kept going back for more HUHHHH???? The more I think about Omar & Ander’s storyline the more I get annoyed. All this drama & for what?

The two new characters brought nothing to the show. Absolutely nothing. The only thing slightly interesting about Yeray was that he was apart of Carla’s storyline with her parents. Would’ve been better if he was in kahoots with Carla’s parents tbh. Now that would’ve been a good twist. He was already acting like she was a shiny toy (hiding behind his “kindness”) they might as well have went all out and made him an asshole.

What was the purpose of Malick????? All he did was kiss Nadia & Omar and cause unnecessary problems. They didn’t need his character to get to New York. Like??? All he did was play Omar & Nadia & they were done with it?¿?¿ Like they all went to the airport together & everything um. 😑

This season really proved that they don’t know wtf to do with Lu (I mean I knew that in season 2 ) & they just throw her in stuff just cause 😂 Loved that she brushed off Guzman when he wanted to dance though & her friendship with Nadia was cute. I really liked Valerio this season.

Anyways this season was interesting but lackluster. No crazy plot twists. Too many people wanting to be good. I would’ve been here for the Polo tweets if he was on his villain shit but he wasn’t so WHAT WAS THE POINT??? I liked the scene with Polo, Guzman & Samu though when Polo was tied up! Now they played that good! But some stuff I was just 🙄🙄 too many ppl wanted to do the right thing 😂 I know y’all love to hate on villains & bad people in shows but I need bad people for balance I really do!

How was Marina more of a villain in season 1 than Polo?? Go back & watch she was the true villain in season 1 I understand why she got killed now 😂😂 Yea she might’ve been doing things to protect her but she was so manipulative wow I lowkey miss her

Arón Piper x reader🌿

You met Omar in your first year of high school. He was in the same class as your best friend back then. As the first year flew by, you tear apart from your best friend, being magnetized by all the brightness Omar emanates around him. You immediately became inseparable and, in fact, he was your first boyfriend. Nothing much happened between the two of you, maybe it would have if your family wouldn’t have been forced to move in England due to your father’s job. You haven’t talked or seen him, until one day you were walking down the street and saw a promo for some spanish Netflix series. You had to stare at that photo for minutes to realise is him. You were used to him smiling, all the photos you have together, he’s only a smile, a very dynamic person. It was strange to see him frowning, with a serious, angry expression. You realised then his dream came true and you broke your promise that you will be his date to the premiere of his first important role. He has changed in better and you no doubt what a talented actor he is. You weren’t a fan of tv series and that Netflix thing you considered useless, but you immediately created an account and binged first season in one night. You searched for his number, but you realised you lost it a long time ago. So shame of you. 

You were in Madrid for a week already and you just walked and visited all your favourite places. There aren’t many changes, but the city has developed so beautiful. You passed by the place where you had your first kiss with Omar and soon enough you were in front of the building he used to live. Used to live? Maybe he still lives there and you thought, why not, go and check. What could even go wrong? 

 As you reached the front door you realised his last name was stil on the mailbox. Your heart climb due to the excitement in your throath and you could even hear it beating. Your palms where so sweaty that you had to press the bell three times to ring properly.       

“¡Tener paciencia, ya voy!” you heard a voice behind the door and bit your bottom lip, trying to hold a stupid smile.

“Sabes que no tengo paciencia.” you responded as the door opened and you can clearly seen the hansome man. 

You both stared at each other maybe for too long, but you couldn’t say anything. How much time has passed? Almost five years have leacked without knowing anything about him. You had taken your time and stared at each other while from inside, curious eyes were searching the two of you. You could recognise those people, Polo, Ander, Guzmán, Nadia, Lu, this guy you didn’t remembered his name and Carla.  

“¡Joder!” he was in shock. Maybe it was a bad idea to show up at his door so suddently.

“What, little star? You forgot your first girfriend?” you laughed at him as on his face started to grow an imense smile. That’s the Omar you knew and missed so much. 

“You came back!” he exclaimed, opening his arms.

“And you waited!” as you jumped in his arms and welcomed his tight hug, you made eye contact with the actor that plays Ander. Joder, these people are looking even hotter in real life, starting with Omar and finishing with thig guy.

Omar invited you in and while he clossed the door, you searched the room and you found that he still has the photo with the two of you from the concert of your favourite band. Everyone was looking strangely at you until someone breake the silence.

“I tought we were supposed to be just us.” the blonde guy with a lot of freckles on his face spoke first.

“I could go and come back later if you want.” you responded, but Omar moved his hand and reduced you to silence.

“This is (y/n) and is the best friend I could ever ask for.” he smiled and everyone was looking at you, but you were hipnotised only by the curly headed one, with the brown sweet eyes and a “bad ass” expression. “And you, señorita, have the chance to meet in person the most important cast of Élite.” he was joking, of course, but presented you to everyone and you kissed cheeks with them. 

“We were about to watch the second season of Élite. Wanna join? After that you could stay the night and tell me everything.” Omar rubbed your back then sat on the floor, in front of the couch. You sat beside him, and rested your head on his shoulder.

Two episodes later, you were so caught in the action that you didn’t realised your position. At some point Arón parted his legs and set a pillow between them so you could rest your head. Omar looked suspiciously at you, but why would he? He raised his eyebrow at Arón before he walked to the window and lighted a cigarette. Well you knew he was smoking in the series, but not in real life. You must admit, he looks damn hot while doing that.

“What? I saved your puta hombro! I couldn’t see properly because of her head!” you laughed at his words and stretched a little. That floor was uncomfortable.

“¡Joder! Amigos, I have a photoshoot in half an hour! I gotta go!” Miguel announced as he grabbed his stuff and ran out the door.

Danna had to leave as well because she has a date with Jorge, the one that plays Valerio. Mina, Ester and Álvaro founded excuses to leave and Iztan left after the first episode.

Just you, Omar and Arón remained and opened a bottle of wine to the all the good and the bad times you’ve been through, but without each other.

“So, England, huh? Very strange people those britains.” Arón smiled before he took a sip from the red vine.

“They are, indeed! I couldn’t stand them anymore. I dropped Oxford and came back home!” you proudly answered the unspoken question.

“You dropped Oxford?” Omar asked you, visibly shocked. “That was your dream!”

“Are you nuts or something?” Arón asked then turned to Omar “¿Está loca?”

“I’m not crazy, thank you very much. But I’m home sick, alright? Even though I had my parents there, I couldn’t fit in. My heart was in Spain and I just couldn’t leave all my life here like it never happened.”

“Speaking of, you remember that bar you liked very much but closed after the end of the ninth grade?” you nodded. “It opened a few months ago and it’s magnificent!” you missed that apartament, you missed the round table, you missed the urban agglomeration and hearing Omar speaking spanish. Right now it felt like heaven.

“We should totally go there, like the old times!” you used to go there every day, eat a lot of fried potatoes and talk for hours about everything and nothing actually.

“Totally. Also, there’s a new coffee shop that I think you would adore. She’s an coffee addict.” Omar informed Arón laughing.

“Where is it?” your eyes shined. You indeed liked coffee very much. 

“I can actually show you. Are you free tomorrow?” the voice came from Arón and it was unexpected. 

“Are you asking me out?” you had a devilish smile on your face. 

“For God sake, you women! No, don’t get too excited. I’ll get you to drink the best coffee of your life! This place beats Starbucks’ ass so bad!” he seemd into this subject, maybe you had some things in common.

As you established, the next day at noon Arón was there waiting for you. You stared too many minutes inside your closet, nothing seemd suitable for this date. Is it a date? Well, the other day you definetly flirted with each other. Omar told you he never saw Arón this way. You could say he’s an introvert, and a little shy, but did a brave move. When you finally picked a blue flourished dress, was already three minutes after the hour you decided to left home and get there in time. And because you put make up on and erased it two times made thirty minutes fly away. So when you left, you were already 5 minutes late. 

“I’m so sorry I’m late, I overslept!” you lied, of course. You didn’t want him to believe you get over your head because of this meeting.

“For a moment I thought you won’t show up.” he let the smoke come out from him moth as he extinguished his cigarette. You found him standing at a table outside, scrolling through his phone. He was wearing something simple, a t-shirt and some blue jeans, but he managed to look incredible. Even God love’s what is beautiful. You could tell this man is kissed by the Aphrodite, the Goddess of beauty herself.   ”All these insecurities are from that german blood? Because I know something about spanish people, we are damn confident! And people of word!” you sat down afront him and let your phone on the table.

“Someone did some research, I see.” in fact you did some research and stalked him on Instagram.

“How could I not? You are a hard to forget type! Anyway I couldn’t find much about you, only unnecessarily basics.” you were honest, because you are trying to gain his trust and friendship.

“I think we are on the same page here. All I know is your name and that you are a damn confident and direct person. Oh, and a woman of word, of course.” The waiter came with your orders and interrupted your conversation, but as he moved around you, clearing the ashtray for Arón, you were looking into the menu considering ordering maybe a muffin. But when you looked up,the waiter was already gone, and Arón was looking at you.  

“I’m starting to think you’re obsessed with me.” you breake the silence, but never look away from his side. 

“In that outfit, who wouldn’t be?” he winked at you.

“So you that’s how you addmit you were staring at me?” you caught his sight while you bit your bottom lip and did’t retire.

“Well, you obviously caught me doing that, but guess what, you were staring too.” his tongue override his lips.  That was true, both of you were staring at eatch other, but how could you not stare at this handsome man? He stretched his back to get you back from your thoughts before he spoke. “There’s a small party saturday at some club in the centre, maybe I’ll see you there. Now, I’m sorry, but I have to go for a shooting.” he grabbed his phone and got up, but before he passed you stopped. You stood up as well and he initiate a hug. You were surprised, but when he whispered “It was nice to see you, beautiful!” you frozed. That was so nice of him, shame of you because you couldn’t say a thing. -------- Saturday you spent almost all day figuring out what you should wear and what kind of party is that. Two days ago you spent with Omar his birthday and had so much fun together. You haven’t told him about Arón’s invitation, however without telling him much about what happened, he still gave you strange looks. So this time you made sure to left the house and get there in time. You knew the club, but you didn’t knew how to find him, thus you find your way through the entrance where you find a man. “Name.” he said warely. You frowned. Was that a joke? Maybe Arón made fun of you and invited you to some party where couldn’t even get passed the door. The anger started to spread into your body along with the cold. Though Spain is a warm country is still spring and the nights are still not warm enough. 

“(y/n)” you responded. “Arón Piper knows I’m coming.” you thought the best option was to say the name of someone famous. “I mean, he doesn’t know I’m coming, but he invited me.” you begin to stutter and say nonsenses.  “Sure... wait a minute.” he was suspicious, you can tell. After he came back, he wasn’t alone. Arón followed the man outside and he faced a bright smile at the sight of you.  “You came!” he grabbed your hand and he led you to a table where everyone was looking strangely at you. Just as the first time. The only difference is that you knew their name this time.

“¡Hola!” you smiled at them wile you sat down next to Omar.

“What are you doing here?” he’s doesn’t mean to be rude, but it was a surprise for him to see you there. A good one.

“Arón invited me.” you shrugged.

“Strange, he didn’t mention a thing though. He’s kinda reserved when it comes to private things, like his birthday.” ha looked at you then sip from his cocktail.

“Yeah, he is very reserved.” you mumbled.

The fact that Arón didn’t tell you it was his birthday, made you uncomfortable. You shouldn’t be here. As Omar said, he is very reserved and a birthday party is for family and friends, and you were none of them. You searched the room and found Arón coming towards the table. You stood up quickly and stopped him.

“Why haven’t you told me is your birthday?” you confronted him.

“Well hello, Beautiful. What’s with that frowning?” he ignored your question as he handed you a drink.

“I didn’t get you anything!” you insisted. Well, actually he didn’t need anything from you because he can buys himself more than you could ever thought of. He put his drink and yours on the table then reached for you hand.

“That’s fine because I just need one thing from you.” he made his way towards the dance floor, still holding your hand.

What would he possibly need from you? You had milions of thoughts and questions running through your mind, but he erased them all when he grabbed your waist and urged you to do the same.

“You look very beautiful tonight.” he screamed over the music, before you could tell anything.

“You didn’t look bad yourself!” you smiled at him. Arón was stearing at your lips as you talked. “So what was that thing you needed?”

“Kiss me.” that came out of nowhere, he knew that too.

“What?”

“Kiss me, hermosa!”

You looked him questioning all the posibilities. He’s trying to make fun of you right now? Does he really want that? As you got stuck on your mind, he leaned towards you, but you could tell he’s too afraid to do something. You both stood there in the middle of the dance floor with your foreheads pressed and with eyes closed.

“You know,” he started and you smelled some cigarette mixed with alcohol and mint. It doesn’t smell bad at all. “I am very good at flirting, that’s why I’m so confident doing that,” you couldn’t agree more. You observed that, he’s a cocky guy when it comes to the things that he’s good at, and ¡Joder! he’s good at many things. “But when it comes to kiss a pretty girl, it’s more complicated, you know. I’m afraid not to mess things up.”

He’s talking nonsense. You rubbed you nose to his and made the bravest move you’ve ever done. You pressed your lips to his and smiled. He smiled too and kissed with so much desire, you were shocked. He’s a very sweet person when he’s not wearing that “bad ass” attitude. As you distanced from the kiss, he looked deeply in your eyes.

“I wanted to do that since the day one.” he laughed a little and smiled at you. He admired you on the dance floor long enough then he went for the drinks you abandoned on the table. Arón was the life of the party all night. He danced, he sang and was so happy, that you couldn’t stop smiling. You had the chance to met this amazing man and even kiss him, you were indeed grateful. Omar stood by your side and glanced at you two all night, but he was happy too.

Unpopular opinions

A lot of the people (mostly girls 🙄) that criticise Carla for breaking up with Polo because she’s “biphobic” are male identified and need to get over the fact that Carla has the self esteem to end a relationship with someone who betrayed her trust over some dick! (Idc if he was exploring 🤷‍♀️) and it was obvious from the start that miss Carla always called the shots and doesn’t play about cheating and betrayal. Carla tried to save their relationship with Christian and Polo ended that relationship with his betrayal with Christian. 🤷‍♀️

Lu and Guzman, had the potential to represent the social dynamics of the “ELITE” 🤷‍♀️ Lu had more legitimacy than Guzman in terms of status and birth. Although foreign, she is a diplomat’s daughter, upper class white Latina who probably comes from a descendant of Hispanic conquistadors in her family tree, hence her status and wealth. Guzman’s family was rich, now corrupt and he’s only claim to his status was by his adoptive family. The show did a disservice to Lu and what she meant to Guzman. It made sense as to why they were together, he needed her on his arm to be fully accepted into “their” world. That’s why Guzman was so insecure and made those unnecessary xenophobic, classist remarks because he knew he was not “equal” to Carla, Polo and even the foreign Lu. If his birth parents didn’t overdose, he would’ve never been apart of that world. Albeit toxic there should’ve emphasized on why Lu believed her and Guzman were the power couple she always thought they were.

Guzman and Nadia is not the pure 🥺🥺🥺 they keep pushing around. Guzman “changed” for his love for Nadia but can’t even defend her when Lu says something racist and islamophobic around her 🤔 💀 it’s built on chliches so your expected to like it but it’s ultimately Guzman has a soft spot for the poor Nadia, after trying to set her up to get raped and humbled for Lu and only stopping coz she’s drugged 🙄 and he falls for her so yayyyyyyy Nadia is the therapist that helps the deranged white boy 👏👏👏 bad boy x good girl is so cringe and disgusting when the “bad boy” is only soft for ONE person 🤮 “he’s toxic but his love for y/z tho 😍😍” Nadia’s character had a lot of potential if they used this romance to highlight problematic social issues and ideas but yeh it kinda peaked s1. I felt like Nadia could’ve been a better change in Guzman if she pushed him to unlearn his toxic masculinity and beliefs but I also don’t want her story to be revolved around a relationship.

Polo x Ander would be too self destructive to work 🤷‍♀️ And they prefer their friendship

Polo x Ander x Guzman - This friendship was sooooo forced pls 😭 they grew out of eachother and Guzman just wanted to control them 💀 Ander checked out a long time ago and Polo stayed because he’s a coward. It should’ve stayed in primary school and just brought up for nostalgia 🤷‍♀️ Polo x Ander were obviously closer because they wanted Guzman to back off them so yeh

Christian x Ander, Samuel x Omar >>>>> GuzmanxPoloxAnder

We didn’t need to see Samuel simping for Carla after he used her to find the truth 🤷‍♀️ these rich toxic girls are no good, especially with their corrupt fathers, you learnt that with Marina, Samuel 🤦🏾 this bitch had Nano incarcerated and snitched on Christian, nearly killing him💀 Samuel falling for Carla’s damsel in distress victims card made him very nieve again 🙄 Samuel’s and Carla’s arch in s3 would’ve been better off exposing Theodore, Carla’s dad. Their dynamic would work since Carla wants her freedom from her father and Samuel would get justice for his old school and somewhat satisfaction for the pain that Carla’s dad caused which lead him to the hell that is Las Encina’s. Side note- Samuel’s character would’ve been better following his s1,ep1 arch, when he was outraged at Marina’s father for covering up and causing his old school’s collapse, but instead they made him fall for the rich, white damsel in distress girls like Marina and Carla, evading them of their actions and consequences 😐

Lu x Nadia was bad writing 🤷‍♀️ if you thought Nadia couldn’t get any dumber, she befriends and gives half her scholarship to Lu... the same girl who gave her a reason to even apply for her scholarship 😭 pls Elite, Lu never even apologised to Nadia and will likely ditch her when she encounters a group of “Latinos por Trump” in New York 😍

Valerio and Nadia had potential with the chemistry they had and I bet those too can actually kiss better than Guzman and Nadia mess...

Omar needed to leave Ander for his own mental health and independent storyline but the writers prefered Omar as Ander’s punching bag 🤷‍♀️ Omar getting accepted by his parents in s3 is a better storyline that should’ve been used than his struggles with Ander and Malick 👏

Cayetana and Polo should’ve been had the Bonnie and Clyde arch to thow everyone under the bus and get away with some short of bit of a happy ending 🤷‍♀️ Valerio was only included into their relationship because him and Lu were done and his Christian 2.0 story was done 😘 It would’ve been interesting and fun to watch Valerio using and betraying Polo and Cayetana, as Valerio’s s3 arch instead of the reused throuple relationship. I barely believed the throuple because Caye seems possessive over Polo and would do anything for him...even having threesomes 😐 yunno she kinda parallel Christian with the whole joining a throuple for one person 🤔
