Dilumi

Napping together. Honestly with the amount of things this man has on his plate, it's amazing how still manages to find some time for himself. Although when he does, he'd already be exhausted. One day, Lumine was there waiting for him in the manor and the sight of her just made him realize how tired he was for the day. And so they ended up lying on the large couch by the windowsill, nuzzling in each others' embrace. Since then it's become Diluc's favorite part of the day.

Kaelumi

Stargazing. (Yes I will keep pushing this agenda and I will never shut up about it) Them just finding any comfortable spot that gives them the perfect view of the night sky is more than enough. Before Lumine came into his life, Kaeya would often find himself ordering another drink at the tavern or in some old ruins trying to find more answers to the lingering questions in his mind. These days (or nights) he'd find himself searching for a certain traveler and just settling himself by her side as they silently watch the stars shine and burn above them.

Venlumi

Picnics. If he finds out that his beloved traveler is back in Mondstadt, he'd immediately whisk her away to Windrise and Lumine lets him because being with Venti also gives her some time to relax. They'd most likely be lying underneath the large tree at Windrise, Venti asking her about her adventures with his head on her lap while Lumine catches up with him. They'd have small picnic basket by the side filled all sorts food (Lumine always bakes an apple pie because she lowkey loves spoiling Venti) and a bottle of apple cider.

Albelumi

Reading together. Other than trying out various exercises and experiments, another pastime both Lumine and Albedo enjoy doing is reading books together. May it be fiction, non-fiction, some old documents or a book Lumine found in the midst of her trip, they'd eventually find themselves in their usual position. They're both underneath a warm blanket, Lumine's head leaning on to his shoulder as she reads through a novel recommended to her by Lisa while Albedo leans against her as well as his reads through another book Lumine found during her adventures.

Zhonglumi

Drinking tea and sharing stories (although most of the time Zhongli is the one who does the talking because he likes sharing about various things and Lumine enjoys listening to him). Third Round Knockout, Liuli Pavilion or at the stone table on Mt. Aocang, these three places have become their usual spots. It simply started out with Lumine inviting Zhongli for tea when she'd have some free time in Liyue and eventually it just became their thing. Lumine grew this habit of collecting tea recipes and ingredients from different places so she could share it with Zhongli while he tries to think of the tales he has yet to tell her for their next date meet-up. (He'd always try to choose the longer ones so that they'll spend more time together)

Chilumi

Fishing. Other than beating up each other to pulps like the romantic couple that they are, Childe also enjoys fishing and the fact that Lumine is starting to get more and more into it makes him all the more happier because he gets to spend more time with her. Sometimes they'd chat for a bit and talk about their families, sometimes it gets a little competitive and they'd end up just duking it out but most of the time right after their little activity, Childe would took her hand in his and leads her to the sandy shorelines of Liyue as they watch the sun slowly sink into the horizon.

Xiaolumi

Collecting random things. The word pastime probably doesn't exist in Xiao's vocabulary but if he miraculously does get some free time, he'd instinctively find Lumine and join her with whatever she's doing. And most of the time, he'd catch her collecting things either for personal use or for a commission. Whether it was collecting violetgrass and qingxin flowers on mountaintops, finding starconch shells and some cor lapis, Xiao has gotten used to helping Lumine find these things that he's memorized the spots where they'd mostly find them. Neither of them really needs to point out on how it was starting to turn into their little routine, all they know is that being with each other like this made their day a little better.

Thomalumi

Cooking. Ever since Thoma found out that Lumine also cooks, he suggested they start sharing each others' recipes when they have the time and Lumine happily obliged. From taste testing partners to mini cooking competitions to almost trashing the entire kitchen, Thoma never expected he'd enjoy cooking more than before. Every time he'd hear that Lumine was back in the estate or is at the teahouse, he can't help but be excited as he wonders what kind of dishes they'll make together this time. And as soon as they're done cooking, they realize that they made a feast large enough to feed the entire estate. Making sure that they don't waste any of the food, they'd invite the rest to share the feast with them.

Ayatolumi

Going for a short walks together. Ayato spends most of his time reading and signing papers under closed doors to the point where Ayaka and Thoma worries that he might end up overworking himself. Their prayers were answered in a form of golden traveler who seems to be one of the few people that Ayato can't say no to so convincing him to go on a short walk together was fortunately not that difficult to do. At first it started out as a way for Ayato to take breaks but somehow it became something he'd look forward to even as he works. When he hears three soft knocks at his door, he's already on his feet and ready to leave his office.

Goroulumi

Archery. Here we have another workaholic whose hobby can still be considered as work but then again, Gorou being committed to his job and position are just few of the things that makes him so loveable. Lumine has always been interested to train with the bow although she never really found someone to properly show her the ropes, this little tidbit slipped out while she was having a conversation with Kokomi and Gorou's ears perked up in interest.

"Then how about I teach you?" offered the general with thinly veiled enthusiasm. How could Lumine ever say no to that?

And so whenever they both have the time, they'd find each other on their usual training spot. Lumine making steady progress although she occasionally gets stuck on a problem. Cue Gorou appearing beside her to either fix her stance and explains the parts where she went wrong. Lumine never misses how his touch would linger longer once their eyes would meet. And the happy sway of his tail once she hits the target dead center.

Heilumi

Solving riddles. One would think that there isn't a riddle that the genius Doushin of the Tenryou Commission couldn't solve, Heizou takes pride in that very notion until he came face to face with a riddle that he has never heard before. The traveler sat across from with an innocent smile while a mixture of interest and frustration rung through his entire being. Not that Heizou never got the answer right, it just took him a lot more time (days even) to actually figure out Lumine's riddle. Once his mind managed to come up with an answer, he'd immediately go and find her. Overflowing with excitement, he'd pull her by the side from whatever she was doing and says his answer proudly. Lumine would reward him with a pleasant smile before complimenting him for doing a job well done. She would then present another riddle, another challenge that Heizou gladly takes and by then the cycle continues. Heizou has no problems admitting that he's been enjoying their little exchange but it might take more courage for him to admit that what he's truly looking forward to was seeing her smile every time he gets to solve her riddles.

Kazulumi

Cuddling. Kazuha is a huge cuddle bug (change my mind) and what better way to enjoy cuddling when it's with his favorite person? Cuddling just became natural to both of them and Lumine always welcomes it no matter the occasion. Being in each other's arms, often sneaking kisses on the other's cheek, temple and even lips before nuzzling into the crook of their partner's neck. Either of them can initiate the cuddling session, all Kazuha has to do was to hug Lumine from behind and tell her how much he misses holding her. Lumine on the other simply makes a grabby motion towards the samurai before he's instantly making his way towards her. Cuddling sessions are not and should not be disturbed, Kazuha has made this quite clear towards the others as he holds Lumine tighter.

Ittolumi

Playing with children. Everything with Itto almost seems like a pastime but Lumine doesn't mind. Being with the oni always give her this freeing feeling like she was able to escape runaway from the constant commissions and responsibility to enjoy life even just for a quick moment. Itto has been playing with some kids in Inazuma for quite some time now and Lumine never really had a chance to see more of it other than them having fun. But when Itto literally scooped her away for her to join them one day, Lumine found her perspective changing. Under the playful, almost rash, and boisterous oni that he was, there was another side of Itto that not many often see. Such as him instantly bending down to comfort a crying child, bringing back their smile when he'd notice them frowning all day or him making sure to keep them safe when they were in any sort of danger. Itto dragging Lumine along to his usual routine was unplanned (a spur in the moment decision really) but it surely wasn't unwelcomed. Lumine witnessing another side of Itto and being given a chance to step back from her usual routine offered warm comfort. And Itto being able to enjoy the things that he does best without being judged or criticize made him happier than he thought it would.

“Remember? Days before when we got interrupted by Kazuha?” Lumine recollected, mind going back to their friend who had just traveled back to Liyue the night before, “You were telling me about how you caught the Kamisato’s having sex~”

“Oh, right.” Aether said, remembering as he put down the book he was reading. Both of them were lounging in the fancy inn Ayato got them, relaxing after a long day of commissions, “It’s nothing super exciting. I only saw them for a few seconds before I ran out of there.” 

“Doesn’t matter.” Lumine said, waving away his excuse, “I still want to hear it!”

Aether sighed with a roll of the eyes, “Fine. Well, this was a few years ago.”

Lumine got comfortable on the couch, looking super adorable in her tank top and puffy sleep shorts as she immediately got invested in the story. 

“Ayato had asked me for a favor.” Aether explained, “He had heard rumors that a rival clan was planning to introduce a product into the Inazuman market knowing full well that it could hurt people- even potentially kill them.” 

Lumine took a sip of her tea, nodding. 

“So, he asked me to break into their mansion along with Sayu and retrieve the documents that would clearly show their intention to make a profit despite knowing that they were going to cause harm. We broke in, got the documents and broke out. Overall, a very successful operation.” 

He paused, taking a sip of water before he continued, “But I guess Ayato wasn’t expecting me to finish his task so quickly. It was dead of night and I managed to get into the Kamisato estate but the guards weren’t allowing me inside their home cause it was past visiting hours. So, I snuck around until I found the window to their room and…well…” 

“Ooohhh~” Lumine purred, eyes wide, “You saw them having sex! You peeping tom!”

Aether remembered the sight clearly. From his location on the window, he could see them from the side, getting a fairly explicit view of the situation despite peeking through a gap in the curtains. Ayaka was on her hands and knees, completely naked as her brother, just as naked, pounded into her from behind. “I just got excited cause there’s another pair of siblings just like us!” Lumine explained, “Of all our centuries of life that’s still something very rare to see. I thought I found a girlfriend I can share stories with.” 

Regardless of all the friends she has and the number of men she slept with, Lumine still desired a girlfriend who she could gossip with about her love life. Aether had plenty of guy friends to share his stories with (most of whom wanted to/have fucked her) while Lumine didn’t feel comfortable talking to any of her girl friends about her escapades. I’ve seen quite a bit of Lumine harem going on so I wanted to add to the brain rot.

Alright, hear me out- the Archons feel really proud when Lumine chooses their element. Like, of all the other elements, she trusts THEIRS to protect her in battle. They feel like there’s this special bond between them whenever they see the traveler approach their statue, placing her hand on it and watching her accessories change color.

And then they start getting jealous of each other because Lumine is using someone else’s element instead, especially if she seems to prefer using one element over the others.

Like, imagine Venti rubbing it in Zhongli’s face that traveler hasn’t changed from Anemo in quite a while.

Some Archons get so jealous they try to find ways to change Lumine’s element themselves. Like, I know it probably isn’t possible, but I mean, in the Childe fight, the traveler did switch from Anemo to Geo mid-battle, so I’m willing to bet it isn’t completely off the table.

If they ever do find a way to do it, it’s gonna be chaos. Lumine would be fighting a bunch of hilichurls, and just as she’s about to blow them all away with a gust of wind, she ends up electrocuting them instead and is like ???? and then five seconds later the hilichurls have been crushed by a meteorite and she’s just like ???????

Like, she has to take a break from fighting enemies for a while because her elements are acting wack because these literal fucking GODS are yelling at each other because Lumine’s flower isn’t the color they want it to be.

They’re all super petty about it. They’re all calling each other out on how this is negatively affecting Lumine’s journey, but then they’re doing the same thing, and they’re all huge hypocrites.

Yeah, this could work with Aether too, I just like Lumine.

Who’s somehow strong on his own yet whose helpful and sweet nature attracts all the alphas around.

Ningguang has him cleaned up and get some new clothes (scented with some verrry light perfume she uses herself ha) and drags him to a fancy dinner in Liuli Pavilion.

Yae Miko is not happy to see the Head of the Yashiro Commission strolling around with Aether in the Grand Narakumi shrine, sticking a bit too close to the traveller to her liking. Ayato and Yae Miko of course exchange some snark commentary the moment they meet and hidden barbs that Aether tries his best to mediate. Unfortunately something happens that requires Ayato to leave earlier to handle, and Yae is all too smug to smirk at him while placing herself at Aether’s side just where Ayato himself was and accompanying him instead. Ayato gives her a blank polite smile with no friendliness in his eyes.

Every Alpha wants to keep him but can’t do much for now as he’s focused on looking for his sister, and they want him to be successful on that. In the meantime whenever aether comes by to hangout they show off and present themselves in a myriad of ways to signal Aether that they could be potential mates for him.

I know a lot of people like Lumine and I do too, but I like Aether equally as well. Both are pretty neat as individual characters and I like to think Aether is the more soft-spoken gentle-mannered twin compared to Lumine who’s more outspoken and headstrong. If im not wrong when you see their attack animations, Aether is more defensive while Lumine is more aggressive hence why i headcanon aether as the more passive twin and Lumine as the active twin. So essentially soft boi Aether and boss ass bitch Lumine hehe

Don’t know if it’s just me but Aether doesn’t get as much attention or appreciation because he appears to be the typical uninteresting isekai’d protagonist to most people. Also hoyoverse keeps defaulting to him in promotional materials for genshin even tho they are like either twin being Traveller are equally canon, which makes everyone feel like Lumine is neglected and focus more on her. That’s fine but i still think Aether’s cool. I actually like his design way more than Lumine’s but that’s because I greatly dislike Hoyoverse female character designs for being more fanservice than anything.

ALSO If you cant tell I really dig mixed gender harems because ANYONE can be in it. More options, more the merrier and more fun :^)

Traveling with Wriothesley: Day 9

"Good morning," Lumine greets Wriothesley while stretching her arms out.

"Morning," Wriothesley responds while dusting off his gauntlet. "How was your sleep?" He asked with a small smile across his face.

"It was very nice." Lumine smiled back, recalling how their evening went.

Last night, Wriothesley covered Lumine with his fur jacket, keeping her warm while she was asleep. The thought of it brought a warm feeling to Lumine's heart.

"What about you?" Lumine asked in return as she walked up to the Duke.

"It was nice for me too," Wriothesley replied, his voice calm as ever. "I'm just cleaning up my stuff, waiting for you to wake up." He spoke softly.

"I remember Sigewinne used to put stickers on your gauntlet." Lumine pointed out as she noticed what Wriothesley was doing.

Wriothesley chuckles at the mention of his Melusine friend. "Yeah, she and the other Melusines do that a lot."

"They're so cute and silly with their pranks." Lumine giggles, taking a seat near Wriothesley.

"Well, the thing is... she got a bad habit from me. Sigewinne started making bets on who gets to put the most stickers on my stuff." Wriothesley sighs.

"Pfft, you shouldn't gamble around children." Lumine playfully replies, teasing him for fun.

"Hey, I try to be a good role model." Wriothesley refutes, laughing with their companion.

"I know, I know~" Lumine giggles and walks off. "You'll be a good father if we ever have kids."

"Wha... what did you just say?" Surprised, Wriothesley's eyes went wide and approached the Traveler.

At that moment, his heart almost froze, in a good way that he couldn't explain.

"Ehehe, nothinggg!" Lumine dodges his question, wondering if her joke was too much. "Gotcha!" Suddenly, she placed a sticker on Wriothesley's face.

"So you did that just to catch me off-guard, eh? How sneaky." Wriothesley smirks and runs after Lumine, starting their day with laughter and silliness.

Later on, they embarked on their journey once more...

"Look at this fella. It must be cozy to sleep like that." Wriothesley said as he noticed a sleeping flying serpent.

Lumine walked up to him. "Agreed. They look sooo light."

"Haha, you are light too. I could easily lift you." Wriothesley chuckles, teasing Lumine with his remark.

"Wow, flexing your strength so early." Jokingly, Lumine pretends to be annoyed. "Well then, carry me from here, all the way to the main city of Sumeru."

"Sure." Wriothesley smirks, ready to take on Lumine's dare with confidence.

"I was just kidding!" Lumine pouted and laughed.

"I know, I was kidding too." Wriothesley chuckled at her reaction. "But I would carry you, just not that far. Or else, why don't you just bury me alive right here?" He crosses his arms as they continue their playful banter.

As the Duke looked away, he noticed a rogue Hilichurl from a distance.

"That guy's wandering around." Wriothesley pointed out, standing close to Lumine to keep her safe.

"That reminds me of Cater..." Lumine muttered as they stared at the creature.

"Who's that?" Wriothesley turned at Lumine, asking her curiously.

"You didn't know? He was in your prison." Lumine replied. "Cater, a small, white-haired boy with blackened hands."

"Oh, now that you said that... I do remember someone named Cater." Wriothesley rests his chin on his hand, recalling the inmate.

At that moment, Lumine tells the story about Cater and everything that happened in her adventure.

"Why didn't you report any of this to me? I would've made things easier for you and the kids." Wriothesley crosses his arms, raising his brow as he asks.

"I'm sorry, don't be mad. I just thought I could solve it all on my own and I did." Lumine smiles apologetically while waving her hands in front of her face.

The Duke sighs and closes his eyes. "I'm not mad. But from now on, I want you to trust me with everything." His voice sounded deeper than usual.

"Yes, I promise!" Lumine answers in a pleading tone of voice.

"Good," Wriothesley looks at his companion. "Now that I'm with you, you can rely on me." His gaze softens once more.

"But you said, that Cater guy was a hilichurl right?" Wriothesley asked once more.

Lumine nods. "Yes. Hilichurls were once human. They were... Khaenrian people, turned into monsters by a curse."

Wriothesley lets out a deep breath. "That's quite heavy to take in." He says, staring at a distant hilichurl camp. "Knowing they were once people, just like us."

"Yeah," Lumine replies. "But if they cause trouble, we have no other choice but to stop them."

Wriothesley nods in agreement. "Indeed."

"See that tornado?" Lumine points ahead of them. "That's our destination."

"What's in that place?" Wriothesley asked out of curiosity. "Isn't that dangerous?"

"Hehe, don't worry. We're going underneath it." She smiles, refusing to tell him more details about their next planned destination.

"Oh? Now I can't wait to see what's out there." Wriothesley grins, feeling the excitement rush through his veins.

Along the way, they encountered a Wenut.

"Ah! It's coming after me!" Lumine yelled out while trying to climb to a higher ground.

Wriothesley quickly grabs her hand, pulling her to safety.

"What is that thing?" Wriothesley asked while watching the creature move underneath the sand.

"It's a Wenut," Lumine answered. "Ah right, it's your first time seeing one."

"Wenut..? Sounds kinda cute if you ask me," Wriothesley scoffs, trying his best not to laugh out hard.

"Well, you're not wrong..." Lumine chuckles, finding his reaction quite cute.

Later on...

"I did tell you I'll take you to the giant ruin guards up close... so here we are." Lumine walked off, leading the way for the Duke.

"Damn, imagine if this big guy is actually alive." Wriothesley follows along, gazing at the ruin guard with awe.

"We'd have to run for our lives then, hehe." Lumine laughs as she pictures the situation in her head.

Together, they explored the ruins, following an underground pathway.

"What a beautiful light," Wriothesley muttered as he admired the glowing light inside the ruins.

"That's not all. Follow me." Lumine reaches out her hand to Wriothesley.

"Careful, you might slip and fall." Wriothesley worried as Lumine stood close to the edge of the platform.

"For you? Maybe I would." Lumine chuckles as she playfully answers.

"Haha, don't make jokes like that while I'm worrying for your safety." Wriothesley gently grabs Lumine's hand, pulling her back.

"Sorry~" Lumine sticks her tongue out while apologizing.

"Acting cute after pulling that stunt?" Wriothesley jokingly clicks his tongue and calmly shakes his head. "You're a cold one are you?"

"Hehe, it's not like I'm purely joking," Lumine responds and stands next to Wriothesley, knowing that he is just teasing her back.

"Haha! We'll see about that." Wriothesley finds himself amused, thinking that Lumine was still fooling around.

But at the same time, he too, is developing feelings far stronger than just plain friendship.

"Here we are, in the heart of the tornado, I guess?" Lumine spoke as they reached the center of the ruins.

"This place looks frozen in time with the neverending tornado around it," Wriothesley mutters, looking at the sky around them.

But their tour wasn't over yet.

The Traveler stands in the center, guiding Wriothesley to a very special place.

"Where are we going? It looks so different down here." Wriothesley asks, noticing the grass around them.

"You'll see, we're already almost there," Lumine replied enthusiastically while walking on.

As the two reached the exit, they were greeted by stunning scenery in front of them.

"Woah..." Wriothesley's mouth fell open, impressed by the otherworldly beauty of the place. "Is everything... frozen in time?"

"Yes. This is the Orchard of Pairidaeza, also known as the Eternal Oasis." Lumine tells Wriothesley the name of the place while glancing at him.

"This is blowing my mind." Wriothesley walks off, his eyes exploring every corner of the timeless realm they were in.

Lumine steps foot onto the water and looks back at the Duke, inviting him to join.

"Damn, you can even walk on water?" Wriothesley smiled, impressed by what he just witnessed. He follows her, walking across the lake that was frozen in time.

"Look, even the fish aren't moving," Lumine said as they passed by some fish stuck midair.

"Cats are gonna love this place." Wriothesley chuckles at his own thoughts. "So how did time stand still... what's going on?" Out of curiosity, Wriothesley asked Lumine while they stood together.

"King Deshret built this place as a cemetery for the fallen Goddess of Flowers. It's meant to keep her memory, that one single moment... for all eternity." While answering the Duke's question, Lumine walked towards the grass.

"That sounds... bittersweet." Wriothesley replied, his voice was lower than usual, almost like a whisper. He stares at the ground as if taking in the history of the place.

"Yeah, King Deshret truly loved the Goddess of Flowers," Lumine replies in the same tone, sharing the Duke's feelings about the Eternal Oasis.

The two of them sat on the chairs in front of them.

"This is where the 3 gods of Sumeru used to gather." The Traveler continued their story, telling Wriothesley everything they knew.

"How impressive. This place holds a lot of precious memories." Wriothesley muttered while gazing at the flowers around them. "It's almost like it's okay to stay here forever, with you."

His words brought a smile to Lumine''s face. "That sounds nice..." Her eyes sparked with joy as she replied. "I feel the same way."

Note: Sorry I wrote this half-awake so it's tad bit messy... also after some debating, I've decided to just write Lumine instead of the "Traveler" all the time. It was getting tiring, even though I wanted to make it more gender-neutral for an easier self-insert experience ;-; sorry and I hope you don't mind. I will edit out the earlier chapters to fix it too.

You dashed about the kitchen preparing plates for the visiting family. As you finish, you proceed to sit across from your family. All of your Aunts ate quietly or gossiped to their husbands at the table. You mostly ignored the conversation until you heard your grandmother's voice.

"Y/N when will you get a partner?" Your utensil dropped to the plate with a clink. Nervously you look around seeing everyone's eyes on you. Gulping down air you open your mouth to give an answer when you hear your aunt chime in.

"Name will never find a partner with such mediocre looks. If they really want a partner they should change their hair." Her arrogant expression compels you to gaze down guiltily.

The other responses makes your stomach churn.

"Name is far too aggressive! People prefer someone who speaks softly."

"Name? They don't even communicate; how could they date anyone? With their mutterings and dismal words, it's no surprise that no one wants them. "

Vines attached to your neck tightly. You cough harshly, stopping the chattering. As you lose more and more air, hands attack themselves to your back hitting harshly trying to stop the pain.

As you look up, you notice the chair sliding back and someone sitting in front of you.

"Hey Y/N." When you saw the blonde-haired traveler and her friend, your smile vanished. Vines started creeping up your pit to your back. Your eyes sting as you recall the last time she came to see you. They were joined by a man with black and teal hair. A chat began between them as he sat across from you. Lumine giggled as the male grinned before gazing in your direction with a blank stare.

They continued conversing, ignoring you until you felt the vines grow higher.

Seeing Lumine again activated your flight instinct. Standing at the exit, you immediately move away, but you are pulled back by Lumine.

You frantically glance about for an opening to escape. Lumine takes another step forward, grabbing your arms and pulling you down onto a seat.

"Calm down. No one is here with me," she says as your breathing evens out. Blinking, you notice Traver by herself, as she had mentioned.

"I wanted to apologize for my previous actions." As she takes a seat next to you, she smiles sheepishly. "I had no idea Tighnari could frighten you. After all, he is the most composed of my lovers."

"Tighnari?" You recall the man who emerged behind Lumine as she approached their meeting location. He disregarded her in order to speak with Lumine. When you unexpectedly departed, he merely reacted.

"Yes, the same man that was with me the last time."

" It was my fault for reacting in that manner. "I'm sorry for my behavior," tell him. It was a pleasure to meet him." You take your belongings and relay the message.

Lumine immobilizes your motions. "Y/N, is it because I'm talking about Tighnari that you're upset?" She turns around to face her.

"A bit." Lumine's forehead furrows in perplexity.

"I'm not jealous, it's just that..."

"That?" She speaks quietly, her arms uncrossed.

"It makes me uneasy to be among people who are in relationships. My family constantly tells me that I must be a part of a relationship to be complete. I'm not sure why love is presumed to make me feel whole." You cautiously look up at her, expecting her to laugh or mock you.

"Oh." Her voice echoes off, increasing your anxiety. Her kind eyes meet yours.

"There's nothing wrong with not wanting to be in love or in a relationship at all." As you felt her softly embrace you, your vision blurred.

"You're already whole; you don't need love to complete you."

As a scribe, it is unsurprising for AlHaitham to be knowledgeable of different quantities. From the simplest forms to the profound questions left by researchers, travelers and people from the past.

When a difficult question arises, people would turn to those whom they believe would have the answer. AlHaitham, on the other hand, believed that only the purest form of truth can be found in between the pages of text which survived through time. He believed that the strongest form of evidence can only be found within the archives. And unless it was not, he did not rely on the information that was often passed from one tongue to the other. Instead he carefully follows the trail and finds the root himself.

AlHaitham was logical and precise. He remains objective in most situations even if it would break many things in the process–trust, relationships and respect. "All of which would be served for a better cause" or so he'd claim. The Akademiya's infamous scribe was a perfect example of the saying "the end justifies the means".

Not many have come to terms nor condone his methods. Especially not the golden warrior who carried her heart in her sleeve.

Lumine, the rising star of Teyvat. Despite her sterling reputation, she merely became nothing but passing thought to the scribe until their encounter in the bustling port.

"Has anyone ever told you how much of an irksome bastard you are?"

"Irksome? A few. A bastard? Not quite."

Frustration lit her amber eyes and all he could do was silently watch them burn. Like a moth slowly attracted to the flames of a burning fire. And burn he did.

AlHaitham has always gravitated towards the unknown. To seek what lies beyond but never too far off the shore where humans tread. As a seeker of knowledge, he also knew when to cease his own greed.

Yet when exposed to an identity he could not wrap his mind around, a spark of curiosity comes to life. He tested the waters, pulling her strings and pushing her buttons in the smoothest and the most subtle way as a means to carefully gather information.

"I advise you not to stick your nose where it doesn't belong, scribe." The warning she gave him was devoid of her usual light-heartedness and life.

It meant he may have stepped over a landmine. Asking questions about her origins was not a topic she was quick nor comfortable to divulge. He couldn't help but wonder, what's there to hide behind such radiating light?

He was curious, oh so curious of the hero that everyone acknowledges and praises without a hint of hesitation. In all his time as a scribe– as a person who sought answers for the various mysteries which caught his eye.

Lumine was one of the questions left unanswered in his life.

Here's an idea or a drabble I have for a Lumine harem fanfic.

What if, in another universe, Lumine is a reincarnated goddess in Teyvat? Here's the twist, the goddess is not from Teyvat, in fact she's from beyond the stars, but how could a goddess that is not of that world become Lumine's incarceration? After all she's also not from Teyvat and who even is this goddess? Well if I tell it'll be a spoiler.

This fanfic is not out yet, I'll post something later about it's release but stay tuned.
