YES! Not a lot, but some! (And some of this is stuff I knew before, I can’t remember what I did and did not decide before I saw the movie.)

Her name is Luna Danvers-Fury and she’s played by Alisha Boe. I’m not sure if Carol like…stayed on Earth for a lil bit after the events of the movie, or if she came back at some later point in time. I do know that Luna was raised partly by Maria and partly by Nick’s family. Nick didn’t see her a lot growing up which was hurtful for her but also like, justifiable, given his line of work. He did try to keep in touch and be present though, it’s a hard line to walk, wanting to keep her safe but also be present. 

(She adores Maria and Monica is like an older sister to her.)

Anyways, she does have powers but I don’t know how often she uses them…the way I see it there’s two general directions she could have gone, she could have gone the “I wanna use my powers and be a hero/SHIELD agent and get involved in that part of the world” or “I don’t want SHIT to do with any of that I wanna go to college and get a communications degree.” I’m still deciding which way she went, I’ll keep you posted!

(I will say one thing: 

I’ve had this pet idea in the back of my head based on the theory that all the people who got Thanos’d in IW are inside the Soul Stone in the Soul Realm or whatever. Where an OC who has powers but has always been ambivalent to them gets snapped and ends up there and has to actually use her powers for once in her life. 

I had planned on her not being connected to any canons, but tbh I’m considering using Luna for that idea instead!)
