I really like Wu Lei and Zhao Lusi, so I'm very thrilled they are starring together in <Love Like the Galaxy>!

Just finished The Romance of Tiger and Rose (just before going to class, I don't know how I'm going to focus now), I'm crying and laughing and weeping and cooing, I'm a mess. This is a God-Tier level drama, so clever and funny and tragic and dramatic, the acting is phenomenal, the writing is precise and excellent, the decors, the costumes, the music, everything is so well done, I'm not going to recover from this one. I need season 2 now.
This show is stunning, the main characters have a beautiful dynamic and so much chemistry, the supporting roles are all so interesting, there's a perfect ratio of comedy to tragedy. Seriously, I hope it won some awards, this is art. This is a masterpiece.

Finished Dating in The Kitchen, making it my 6th Zhao Lusi drama in the 4 months since first getting to know her in WRTW.
While the age gap is not my thing and I was frustrated with the writing towards the end, it was still very enjoyable and the two leads did a great job. Also... FOOD
Anyway, with every ZLS drama that I watch, my love and adoration for her continues to grow. She's just so engaging and lovable, and you can't help but root for her characters no matter what. She's become my favorite actress since LLTG, but I come to appreciate and admire her more with every character. She is truly everything to me and I'd die for her. Also... She's so pretty I might cry.
Now, for my ranking of ZLS dramas (not characters, because BFX and CSS stand on equal worshipped ground) I've watched, based on my enjoyment (4 and 5 might be interchangeable):
Who Rules The World
Love Like The Galaxy
The Romance of Tiger and Rose
A Female Student Arrives at the Imperial College
Dating in The Kitchen
I Hear You
(if I'm ranking CPs, it's the same except switch 4 and 5 around.)
Idk which of her dramas to watch next, so if anyone can recommend, I'd love that
+Update a couple of weeks later after watching The Long Ballad...
Who Rules The World
Love Like The Galaxy
The Long Ballad
The Romance of Tiger and Rose
...And the rest.
I think HaoYan move above Chen Qianqian x Han Shuo in my cp ranking, and Leyan is very close to BFX and CSS level of my fave of Lusi's characters.
(currently on ep 1 of Please Feel at Ease, Mr. Ling. Lets see how that goes, but at this point my love for Lusi has reached infinite proportions)
(edit: I finished Please feel at ease and it was a wild ride. I think I like it the same as I hear you, but I like this cp better than that one. I do Love Gu Anxin, though. About the same as I love San Qi)

Finished "Romance between tiger and rose" yesterday.
I'd like to proclaim: Han Shuo really was the original simp. That man was just extraordinarily in love (aka the shit he dealt with for Qianqian while being super soft for her at all times, miraculous).

that one scene in ep 2 where madam cheng was banging her head on the wall, threatening to jump into the well, wailing her heart out etc had me snorting. THEN HER SON STARTED FAKE CRYING AS WELL AND I LAUGHED OUT LOUD. but what took the CAKE and made me had to pause and rewind because i was in hysterics was when cheng shaoshang’s mother caught her and lian fang watching the chaos, so cheng shaoshang feigned a cold, and then when her mom walked away and turned back around again, not only did cheng shaoshang burst into dramatic fake coughs, BUT LIAN FANG DID TOO

The Romance of Tiger and Rose
Year : 2020 | Country : CN | Nb of episodes: 24
My rate: 5/10
Synopsis :
Having finally sold her TV series script, aspiring screenwriter Chen Xiao Qian soon falls under the scrutiny of the male lead, who refuses to act out the role. Vowing to make her script successful, she starts re-writing. While napping, she is transported into her own story, becoming the Third Princess Chen Qian Qian, a side character. Armed with the knowledge of her own script in which her character is soon to be killed in the third episode by Prince Han Shuo, the male lead, Xiao Qian is determined to stay alive and find her way back home.
Main cast :
Zhao Lu Si as Chen Qian Qian/ Chen Xiao Qian
Ding Yu Xi as Han Shuo
Zhou Zi Xun as Chen Chu Chu
Sheng Ying Hao as Pei Heng
My thoughts on this drama :
What drew me in in the first place was the beautiful OST. I was not that much interested in the synopsis at first and almost dropped it right after the first episode. I'm no fan of Lu Si, that I always found annoying. She overacts. Her facial expressions are always exaggerated...Her voice is also a pain to my ears. A pity she is in so many Xianxia I've seen these past years... the girl is everywhere, seriously... Moving on... Once the story actually starts, it gets better. It is slightly illogical, there are a lot of WTF moments too... Our male lead is cute. His acting is not the worst I have seen either, but that's far from top-notch. I would not rewatch it. Good thing there aren't a lot of episodes.
